Let's get on with the story!

"Aaaand, done! Arceus, that took way less time than I thought." Tyler said as he placed a ratcheting wrench down, admiring his and Josh's work. "Don't know why I thought it'd take longer." He added, getting Josh to nod.

"Probably because you had help from me." Josh replied as he took his gloves off. "That and also because you make ECU tunes quickly."

"Hey, what son of a mechanic doesn't know how to make a tune for his own car?" Tyler remarked, chuckling as he did so. He then walked over to the jack and lowered his car down. "Fuahh, I'm starving. Could really go for some pizza." He spoke as Josh agreed with a nod. "Same here, I'd like to take a break from cooking tonight."

"Let's make Sam pay for it, since he's been slacking all day." Tyler said as he glanced over to his phone, showing the time as 6 PM. "Sounds like a plan." Josh added as both of them walked over to the door connecting the house to the garage, taking a glance at his own car, a slate gray Porsche 911 Turbo from the 80s, which sat on black HyperGT wheels from OZ Racing, Michelin Pilot Sport tires and had a few upgrades done to it, now making 350 hp.

Upon entering the living room, Tyler noticed that Jewel and Pearl had fallen asleep, with Ruby watching the TV. He also noticed the lack of Samuel in the room. Then, he heard music blaring fairly loudly from his friend's room, getting him to sigh. "Of course." He walked up the stairs to Samuel's room, with Josh going to his own, getting ready to take a shower.

*knock**knock**knock*

"Oi, Sam!" Tyler yelled.

"Yeah, what's up? You done?"

"Yeah we are. Can you turn that shit off and order us pizza? Two pepperonis, two cheeses, all large."

Samuel audibly groaned from the other side of the door, before muttering "Fine.". The music stopped and he opened the door, looking quite displeased. "What drink?"

"Coke's fine, and thanks by the way." Tyler said, followed by a small sigh from Samuel. "Yeah yeah, whatever." He muttered, walking down the stairs while clutching his phone in his hand.

After the pizza arrived, Tyler walked over to Jewel and Autumn and shook them lightly, waking them up. "Hey you two, are you two hungry? Cause it's dinner time and we've got some food."

"Well, a little bit." Jewel said before yawning and stretching.

"Uhm..n-no…" Autumn shyly spoke, before an audible grumble emanated from her stomach getting her to blush and Tyler and Jewel to laugh.

"Haha, guess you are. C'mon you two, let's go." Tyler said while pointing towards the dining table, which was full of pizza boxes. Jewel and Autumn got up from the sofa and walked alongside him, followed by Ruby. Helios rushed down the stairs and walked towards the table, with a visible grin on his face. Ruby saw this and walked over to his side and licked his cheek, getting him to blush. Tyler, Josh and Samuel erupted in laughter at the sight.

"Oh hell yeah, let's get started!" Samuel exclaimed, taking a seat excitedly, followed by Josh and Tyler. When he sat down, he saw the confused looks on Jewel and Autumn.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked both of them. "Aren't you guys hungry?"

"Y-yeah, we are b-but…where's o-our food?" Autumn spoke, with Jewel nodding in agreement.

"Hmm? What do you mean? We're sharing all of this." Tyler said as he tapped his hand on an empty seat beside him. "Come, sit down."

"Are you sure, Tyler?" Jewel said, fairly surprised at his answer. "We're fine with normal food."

"No way, you guys deserve human food as well, you know. I don't really trust those cans and besides, these are much tastier." Josh chimed in with a partly eaten slice in his hand. "Don't worry, there's plenty to go around!"

"Oh, well, thank you!" Jewel smiled excitedly, walking over and sitting on the chair next to Tyler. "T-thank you, m-mister Josh." Autumn said with a smile, sitting beside Jewel. Tyler smiled at the sight.

Actually, come to think of it, I really wonder what happened to them before I found them. They obviously aren't bad.

Dinner came and went pretty uneventfully. Tyler fed Jewel and Autumn by hand since the table was slightly too tall for them to use plates. He also let them try soda for the first time, which Jewel liked but Autumn didn't.

It was getting late, and Tyler decided to take a shower. But before that, he decided to give the girls a bath first. "Hey girls, it's time for you two to take a bath."

"Oh, alright. I do feel a bit dirty." Jewel said as she looked over herself, noticing small amounts of dirt and grime on her body. Autumn was in a similar situation, though she seemed a bit more hesitant.

"U-uh no need, Tyler. I-I can clean myself." She muttered. Tyler knelt down and examined her, eventually shaking his head. "Nah, you're also pretty dirty. You need a proper bath. Don't worry, I won't do anything precarious." She nodded in response with a small "Thank you."

Tyler beckoned the two of them to follow him inside the bathroom, which the promptly did. He began filling the bathtub with water, adjusting it to the appropriate temperature. Then he grabbed a small bottle from beside the tub and squeezed a small amount of liquid out of it. After a few moments, the water frothed and bubbled up, filling the room with a nice, Oran berry smell.

"Wow, that's so cool!" Jewel exclaimed excitedly as Tyler picked her up and placed her inside, followed by Autumn. Tyler chuckled a bit and began scrubbing down both of them to get rid of the dirt and grime, taking care not to touch the sensitive areas. Jewel laughed at the feeling of his hands, getting him to smile. Autumn on the other hand blushed quite deeply at the feeling of his touch.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask you two. What happened back there, before I found you two?" He asked. Jewel's smile slowly straightened out and her ears drooped, while Autumn looked at him at the verge of tears. Hesitantly, she explained everything to him.

"I-I figured it was the right thing to do, b-but I was scared…" Autumn muttered, small tears dropping off her amber fur. Suddenly, Jewel hugged her close, gripping her fairly tightly. Tyler spoke up in shock.

"Arceus….I-I didn't k-know…If I ever meet that guy I swear…" Tyler muttered in a mix of shock and anger. He noticed how shaken up both of them are and pulled them into a tight hug. "Don't worry you two, you two are safe with me. I promise to keep you safe with all my might." His own voice quivered, as his own tears fell as well.

After the girls had their bath and he finished his, he walked over to his room. Upon entering, he noticed both of them were already asleep, curled into two balls of fur close to each other. He smiled.

Thank Arceus I found them when I did….These two don't deserve to live such an awful life…

Tyler walked over to his bed and gently slid into bed, making sure not to wake them up. To his surprise, Jewel turned over in her sleep and hugged his arm, smiling. Autum rolled over and laid her head on his stomach, sleeping peacefully. Tyler could barely hold back his grin. He carefully moved over to turn off his bedside lamp.

After doing so, he closed his eyes.

Don't worry dad, I'm no longer alone

Tyler woke up with the sun as his alarm, as a ray shone directly into his face. Unfortunately, he woke up Jewel and Autumn in the process, eliciting groans from both of them. Tyler got up and stretched a bit, looking back at the girls.

"Good morning, girls. Did you have a good sleep?" He asked.

"Yep! You were so warm and comfy!" Jewel yipped happily, a tiny blush on her face.

"Y-yeah, I slept well." Autumn spoke softly.

"That's great, I did too. Anyways, I have to get ready for our roadtrip." Tyler said excitedly.

"Huh, roadtrip? What's that?" Jewel asked curiously.

"Well, it's basically a trip which involves a lot of driving. Some people don't like roadtrips, but not me. I've been waiting for a long time for this to happen." Tyler explained.

"That sounds fun, right Autumn?" Jewel turned to her friend for an answer. Autumn nodded hesitantly. "Y-yeah…."

"Autumn, you okay?" Tyler asked. "T-to be honest….I-I'm not too sure…I-I'm kinda scared.." She admitted. Tyler went down to eye level and looked at her reassuringly. "There's nothing to be afraid of. We're here and we won't let anything happen to you, okay?" Tyler spoke softly, rubbing Autumn's neck, getting her to nuzzle his hand in response. "T-thank you, Tyler."

"Right, let's get started!"

After a quick shower and around half an hour of packing, Tyler stepped out of his room and went downstairs for breakfast. Josh noticed him and got up from his armchair, walking over to him.

"Hey, Tyler. You ready to go?" Josh asked. "Wished I could come along, but work is work."

"Yeah, I am. I wished you could too. Though, I'll stay in touch, so don't miss me too hard buddy." They both chuckled. "Anyways, what's for breakfast?"

"Just some eggs and bacon, nothing complex." Tyler nodded and grabbed a plate, scoping up eggs and a few slices of bacon. He then sat down and ate, remarking the simple but delicious taste. "Mmm, that's good." Tyler also grabbed a few more for Jewel and Autumn, which they ate happily.

"Oh please, it's barely average." Josh added.

"You sell yourself short, dude." Tyler complimented, Josh chuckling in response. "Heh, alright."

"Where's Sam, by the way?" Tyler asked, with Josh shrugging in response. "He's probably still sleeping."

"Figures. Anyways, I should probably get going. See ya, Josh." Tyler spoke, heading into the garage, followed closely by the girls. "I'll make sure to call often."

"You better. See you, Tyler." Josh joked, before waving him goodbye.

Upon closing the door, he grabbed his keys and looked over to his car. His S2000 now has bronze Workmeister S1 wheels, lowered a bit and a new Borla exhaust system, along with his own ECU tune, pushing the power to 300 hp.

"Hey Tyler, your car looks different from last time." Jewel remarked.

"Of course, that's what I've been doing yesterday. Making modifications to it. Now it's better than before." Tyler explained, getting Jewel to nod in understanding.

Tyler opened the passenger door to let the girls in. After doing so, he went inside and turned on his car, the engine roared in glorious V6 symphony, startling Autumn a bit. He pulled down his roof, as the weather that day was much nicer than before. Jewel and Autumn were amazed at this, with Tyler chuckling at their reaction.

Slowly, he pulled out of the driveway and zoomed down the road, going away from the house he shared with his friends. He looked back and smiled.

That's it for Chapter 4! The trip has finally started and it looks like it'll be one hell of a time! See you guys in the next one!
