Summary: Round 2 of the One on Ones. Izuku vs Bryant
Note: Same as ever. But I must've put some people's knickers in a twist though considering I have no idea why say some chapters get 15 views and a 9, yet the chapters before and after such get more. I don't get it.
Back at the stadium Tenya and Ibara duke it out, with Ida ending up shoving her out of the ring to her shame, but she ends up just praying to 'repent' or something. When Kirishima and Katsuki battle though, it's quite the fight. Even with all of Eijiro's strength and hardening skin getting stronger by the hit, he has a durability limit, and that ends up being his downfall as Bakugo is relentless and overpowers him in the end with a finishing explosion blast to the face for a KO.
Spectating, Mina scoots over and asks Allen, "So, what are you going to name the new bowling ball guy"? Bryant thinks, "Bowling ball huh? How about 'Strike'? She thinks it over, "Yeah. Fitting". But now, it was time for his fight; This one being him against Izuku. Bryant would have to give it all, considering while he injures his arms and legs upon use, his power could still possibly even hurt his power house forms like Recks, Warrior and maybe even Mass. Facing each other in the field, they exchange conversation, "Give me everything you've got Izuku". Deku agrees, "I'll definitely do my best. But don't hold back yourself either. May the best man win"; They shake on it.
As Midnight waves the flag, Deku comes running at him, "I'd better take the offensive if I'm gonna beat you Allen". Bryant concurs, "You've got that right". He cycles through and takes a look at the animal creature he got from Jurota, "Might as well give this guy a go". His eyes are quickly dissolved as thick fur sprouts and covers his entire body and face, while his back hunches over down onto all fours. A lion like tail grows out of his spine and shoots out the back of him, while his hands turn into huge paws lined with sharp claws. Three sets of 'gills' on either side of his neck are grown and a bunch of brown stripes line his orange fur atop his back. Lastly his mouth cracks like chapped lips, while his mouth become spherical like a pencil sharpener, filled all across with teeth but notably four sharp canines on the top and bottom of the mouth. Also a long tentacle type tongue covered in slobber replaces his human one. "RAWR, RAWR"! He now makes distorted bear type roars and growls, as he, like with Subwoofer, can no longer speak.
Izuku halts, and assumes Bryant is now blind, waving his hand in front of his face, "Hey, um, can you even see me"? A sonar type sound eminates in his head, and all he can 'see' is reddish haze, while Midoriya is a black outline. He nods his head to Deku. Noting he HAS to beat Allen still to win, he apologizes and attempts to use a flick of One for All power on him with a finger. Sensing the danger, Bryant performs a back flip, while Deku just ends up injuring one of his precious fingers. Allen starts slobbering as his tongue pants and he briefly uses his hind leg to scratch behind his head, 'Huh, so this is what it feels like to be a dog', he thinks to himself.
As Midoriya rears up for another attacks after recuperating, Bryant takes a better look at himself, with his tongue dangling out and his sharps teeth he can even see protruding, "I think I'll call this one, 'Xenodog'. Cool form". With another flick of his finger, Allen is agile enough to dodge out of the way like an actual dog, crouching and circling. With that, he pounces on Izuku from behind while a little disoriented, sinking his teeth into his back, "Gah". Not wanting to necessarily hurt his buddy, Bryant drags him by the shirt and collarbone towards the edge of the stadium to simply win by ring out. Deku struggles and pings him on the nose, losing his grip but almost knocking him to the other side of the ring from where they just were.
Bryant drags his claws to reduce the distance and impact, afterward shaking, complete with fur flying off and his tail at the end of said shake. Running on all fours, he tries to give it all he has with this new form before even thinking of turning into something else. With 7 fingers left at his disposal and two kicks worth, Izuku is far from giving up and fearlessly runs head on to the giant human sized animal. He shouts while bringing up a finger, "YAAAHH". Breaking yet another finger, Bryant's sonar informs him of the imminent threat and he simply front flips over his assailant, to Deku's quick disappointment. Despite being a quadruped, Bryant stands up long enough to grab Midoriya by the shoulders and toss him a good distance, resulting in him hitting the ground a couple time roughly against the dirt.
Izuku stands up and wipes his cheek which now has a scratch, muttering to himself, "I won't go down so easily. I got to make All Might proud...and Uraraka". With 6 fingers left he has to be stingy, and as such he opts for a fake out. As Allen charges him again, he pretends to use his left hand, but as Bryant bites into his hand, he uses his right to send Omni up into the air a little bit, then jumps as high as he can and uses another hit to slam him into the dirt ground, even making a crater. With 4 shots left, hand wise, Allen staggers up out of the hole and though hurt, climbs out to soldier onward, "RAWR"!
Midoriya flinches a little, "Urgh, he's still coming. Gotta be more innovative in my approach. He won't fall for another fake out", he tells himself. Noticing the slits on his neck, Deku gets an idea, "Those must be how he sees. So maybe if I use some dirt…". With resilience, Omni doesn't fret and comes at him for another round. Leaping at his opponent, Izuku rolls out of the way and with great bravado, climbs on top of Bryant's back. Like a rodeo bull, Allen shakes and struggles to shake him off and finally flips onto his back, crushing Deku under his weight a little. Hurt, but unrelenting, Midoriya takes dirt from the ground and covers his slits with it.
As He gets back up, Bryant wanders around blindly, only able to sniff currently to tell where Deku is. With the opportunity presented as planned, Izuku takes the shot and nails Allen just as he's about to catch his scent. With a whimper, he's sent back yet again, only inches from a ring out. With two kicks and 3 fingers left, Midoriya is feeling confident. Omni struggles to get up, even falling a couple times. Momo, up in the stands has her own thoughts she's thinking, "Come on Allen, switch already. Use all you got, otherwise Midoriya will finish you now that he has the upper hand". Back in Bryant's mind, he's is beginning to think the same, 'I can't lose like this, not in front of Momo. I wanted a fair fight, but it's about time to use ALL I got'.
With determination, he takes his paw and hits the watch on his shoulder, switching into Warrior, cracking his neck, "Alright Izuku, no more screwing around. And, since you aren't either, why not go all out"? Twisting and hitting the watch he becomes Evolved Warrior again, cracking all eight knuckles, "Now. Let's wrestle". Deku charges him but this time Allen is fully ready, clapping all eight hands together to create a seismic wave of air, which practically smacks Midoriya in the face as he's sent backwards and staggering. With a huge leap, Bryant lands right in front of him and takes him by the arms and legs, holding him up above his own body.
Izuku struggles to get down, thrashing and kicking as much as he can, even trying to sacrifice another finger, leaving 2, but it doesn't even phase Omni. "What good would all these beefy arms be without durability, huh? After what I just went through, I'm not playing no more Izuku", he informs him". At this point, unknowingly increasing his power output as well, Midoriya takes a gamble and uses one of his legs, kicking Bryant in the head, and giving Deku one last chance to win this. "You got 3 swings left Izuku. Better use them wisely". Midoriya thinks over his options, 'There's no way I can beat him like this especially with only 4 swings left of One for All. I guess I have to accept it...but I'm not going down without a fight'. He speaks plainly, "I won't just give up Allen, I'm going to beat you, or fail trying".
Bryant gives a little smile, "Yeah man, go ahead. Give me all you've got, don't hold back. You still have a chance", he says with comfortingly. Sprinting towards the muscled, red Omni, Izuku manages to avoid a whole six blows as the arms come swinging down and around. But when Deku hops onto his back, the shoulder arms are quick to grab and toss him off, "Almost". Midoriya looks up at the stands, seeing Ochaco watching with her fists and cheering him on. Smiling with a little boost of confidence, he tries again, and again, and again, but all times he's thrown off as there's just too many arms. Deku takes a deep breath, 'I'm going to have to sacrifice another finger, just to get up to his head, there's no way around it'. Taking his plan into account he heads over and even plays dirty to a point, by tossing up some sand again to get Bryant to cover his face.
Leaping onto one of his arms, he's almost flicked like a mosquito but Midoriya perseveres, making his way up to his face. Just as he's about to use one of his digits though, Allen catches him, by the legs and arm, then stretches him out like a starfish so he can't escape, "You know Izuku, you deserve a break. So tell you what, I'm going to change. ANY of my forms, you tell me which one you want to fight. If you can last this long against an evolved Warrior of all things you at least deserve something". Deku declines, "No, I've got to do this of my own effort". Bryant sighs, "You do realize you're pretty much fucked at this point, right? You and Momo are such sticklers for 'I've got to do this my way' type things. Come on, let me help you out. I mean you almost beat me as 'Xenodog' so…".
Izuku gives in reluctantly, "Okay then, do it. But don't hold back, okay"? Omni promises, "Deal. So who do you want"? He puts Deku down while he thinks, "Okay. That one with the sound waves". He asks, "Which one? The wolf or the tiny guy". He tells him the tiny one, and he does just that, "Okay, Izuku. This is it, so I'm not holding back. That was the bargain". He clones 5 of himself, "And just to make things interesting, my clones won't use sonic waves but I will. Go". As Izuku runs up to slug him, Bryant takes a deep breath, though he doesn't need to breath anyways, to charge his sound wave, sending his buddy a good ways. He turns to his clones, "Alright guys, you're up". His clones run in tandem at Deku and stack into a pyramid too.
Midoriya flings them into the sky and a couple of them don't come back down, while the other couple are sent into the surrounding walls, 'dying' more or less from impact and just saying 'Ouch'. The last clone lands in the stands, more specifically in Ashido's arms, "Whoa. Foul ball", she jokes. The clone smiles, "Thanks". He gives her a big kiss on the cheek and leaps back into the ring, Mina giggling a little. The real Bryant is impressed, "2 fingers and a foot left. Think you can still beat me"? He nods, "Yeah, I feel like I can". Allen and his clone make a beeline to Deku, hopping on said clones' shoulders before being tossed at his general direction, "Power of two", he shouts, before screaming. Izuku covers at least one ear and as Omni gets in range, and to his surprise, Midoriya uses a finger and send him into his clone. His clones is defeated from the impact and he reabsorbs him, "Okay. Now it's just you and me...unless". He creates 23 others, "You can take on all of them", he finishes. Deku braces himself, "Give me all you got"! The clones dog pile him, punching him a little. Izuku thinks to to himself again, 'Last digit, better make it count'. With a burst of energy, he breaks his last finger and sends every single clone into both the stratosphere, the walls, and even back into Omni.
Deku smiles, "Yes". Shoving off his beaten clones, Bryant is battered, but still not beaten, "I sure felt that impact. But I think with just your foot left, it's time to finish this". In agreement, they both run towards the other, with Allen readying his lungs, if he has any, and Deku preparing a devastating kick. With a powerful roundhouse at the helm, Izuku takes the shot, while Omni makes one more bold move, electing to turn himself around and scream as hard as he can, while also creating several clones. As the dual impacts take place, some of the clones are obliterated, from the kick, while the screech blasts Bryant into his duplicates, sending them instead from his own momentum along with Izuku out of the ring.
Midnight waves her flag, "Omni Wins". Bryant is pleased, but rather than drink in his victory, he goes over to check on his friend, turning back too. He helps up the literally broken Deku, "You okay Izuku"? He sits him up, "Yeah. Just hurts real bad is all. But, you did great. Even gave me a better chance". Bryant feels the same, "You were also amazing man. If I hadn't changed to another form from the first you would've gotten me. You're a hell of a fighter. Plus, you're a good guy". Izuku can't get up though, "Argh", he grunts trying to stand up on his broken foot. Allen then gets an idea, "I might be able to help". Scrolling through his watch, he chooses Seraph, of which Happiness begins to speak, "You need assistance from us"?
"I thought you said I wouldn't need you two again", he asks. She elaborates, "You don't. But we, and I mean mostly me, can provide you with verbal help at least. I know your plan, and before you ask, it will work. Seraph can indeed heal a body among other things. But keep in mind this doesn't apply to diseases". He appreciates it, "Thank you". Bryant stands up and outstretches his left arm, and right before both of their eyes and even the others in the stadium, he completely heals Izuku back to health, with his fingers, hands and feet restored. He turns back and once again tries to help him up, "How do you feel"? Izuku is amazed, "That's incredible. I thought only Recovery Girl could do something like that. Also, you didn't need any of my blood to do it"?
He shakes his head, "Nope. The literal voices in my head told me though, that it won't work on someone with cancer however, when it comes to the disease at least". Miodoriya acknowledges, "That really is a shame. But regardless, thanks". He pats him on the shoulder, "What are friends for Izuku"? As they both walk back up to the stands, everyone starts cheering. Bryant takes a seat with him and the girls while waiting for the next round.
