Sun shone through the window and straight into Tyler's eyes, waking him up. He stretched and groaned before standing up to finish stretching. Apparently, he had slept for a long time since he was far more exhausted than what he felt yesterday.
Unfortunately, due to his actions, he woke up the two forms of Jewel and Autumn who were clinging close to him. The third form of Noir slid off his chest as he got up, the sensation of falling before being caught in his arms jostling her awake.
"Whoops, sorry there, Noir. Didn't notice you were there." Tyler apologized with Noir responding with a sigh. At that moment, Tyler noticed the morning sun and quickly realized his mistake.
"Ah shit, slept for too long." He spoke before turning around and greeting the rest of the girls. "Good morning, girls. Sorry for sleeping through the rest of yesterday, guess I was just too tired and I didn't notice." He apologized awkwardly.
"It's no problem, Tyler! I was also really exhausted! It was fun though!" Jewel yipped, remembering the thrill of the drive yesterday before blushing slightly at the tail end of yesterday's memory.
"Well, it takes quite a lot of energy screaming so I was also tired." Autumn pouted in which Tyler chuckled before Noir spoke up herself.
"I simply could not be bothered since your chest acts as a very comfortable bed." Noir spoke with a sly grin which Tyler found pretty amusing.
"Right, we should get a move on to Floaroma. Luckily, the road is much shorter so it shouldn't take too long to get there. I'd say two to three hours tops." Tyler spoke as he grabbed his towel and dashing to the bathroom. "I call dibs!"
"Hey, wait! I CALL DIBS ALWAYS!" Jewel yelled before dashing to the bathroom behind him. Autumn could only laugh in response while Noir giggled lightly.
A scuffle and half an hour later, the group made their way out of their rooms and entered the elevator, making small talk all the way. As they exited, Tyler noticed a notification on his phone which came from the item box on his PC account.
'One new item received.'
"Well, that's strange. I wonder what it is?" Tyler though aloud, catching Jewel's attention.
"Hey Tyler, what's up?" She said as she tried to stand on her back legs to look at his phone screen.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just got received an item from someone. I should probably check it out." He said before the doors opened and the group exiting the elevator. A short walk to the front desk later, Tyler opened his item box and was surprised at what he got.
It was a Pokemon from Vince with a letter attached.
'Hey Tyler, this Pokemon here was the one that we extracted from the fossil you helped in retrieving. We all felt that we should give it to you as you were the one to save it and you seemed like the perfect person for the job. See, if you don't mind, could you tell us how it's doing every week or two? Just a text should be fine. Anyways, hope you two get along nicely!

"Wow, that's really nice of him to give us a Pokemon!" Jewel commented as Tyler held the ball in his palm, examining it closely. "Indeed. Although I don't know this 'Vince' person, I believe that he is a good person, since he trusts you." Noir added as she turned to Tyler. Autumn nodded rapidly in agreement.
"Yeah. Honestly, I'm flattered. Though, we should properly introduce ourselves to it. We should also do some training. C'mon, let's head on over to the park." Tyler spoke as he beckoned the girls over to his car.
Later, at the park, Tyler sat on a bench while being flanked on either side by Autumn and Jewel with Noir sitting on his head. Giddily, he released the Pokemon from its ball.
After the bright light dissipated, a blue dinosaur-like quadruped stood infront of them. It had a single large claw on each leg and a white underbelly. On each side of its body was a blue gem-like structure that glistened in the sun. It had yellowish orange sails around its light blue eyes and an elongated neck. A curious and confused look was plastered on its face as it eyed the human and his Pokemon.
"Hello? Who are you?" The Pokemon spoke, shaking Tyler out of his stare and prompting him to quickly scan it.

"Uhm, excuse me?" The Amaura asked again to the still deep-in-thought Tyler. Noir simple sighed and spoke up for him. "Apologies, he usually does this. Anyways, greetings. I'm Noir."
"Yep yep! I'm Jewel, how do you do?" Jewel greeted happily while she pointed a ribbon to herself.
"And I'm Autumn. Pleased to meet you." Autumn spoke with a small bow, which caused the Ice type to flinch and move back a step. "Oh, uhm… sorry about that…" Autumn apologized sheepishly.
"Last but definitely not least…" Jewel spoke before lightly slapping Tyler in the cheek which shook him out of his thoughts. "Oof! Why'd you do th- Oh right. Heh, sorry about that. I'm Tyler and all of these are my Pokemon. This one's N-"
"Uhm, yeah, they already introduced themselves…" The Amaura spoke somberly as she looked around, seemingly confused by her surroundings. "Where am I?"
"Well, we're in Jubilife City in the Sinnoh region." Tyler answered before noticing the increasingly confused look on her face. "Though, I must ask, do you remember anything?"
"What do you mean? If you're talking about before I went to sleep, I was just enjoying my time with my family." She spoke before concern graced her face. "Where….Where are they?"
Tyler gulped and twiddled his thumbs nervously as he thought about how to respond. Eventually, he gave in. "They are…. no longer here."
"W-What?! What do you mean they're no longer here?!" She growled as her sails began glowing. Jewel, Autumn and Noir noticed before leaping into defensive positions in front of Tyler.
"Hey, everyone calm down. I didn't do anything to them. Nature did." Tyler spoke softly as he tried to calm Amaura down. "Truth is…. They're dead. You were too."
"I…What? I died? But how…?" Amaura muttered as she was taken aback by this revelation. "But, if I'm dead, how am I here?"
"You were turned into a fossil. A friend of mine managed to bring you back to life. I'm sorry about your family though." Tyler said as he got off the bench and knelt down so he was at eye level. "Your fossil was the only one that was recovered. As of right now, you're currently the only living Amaura in this region."
"Mom and dad are … gone. W-why…?" Amaura sniffed as tears began to stream down her eyes.
"Amaura, I-"
Before he could speak, Tyler was kicked hard in the chest, knocking him back a few feet. He coughed and sputtered before he stood back up. A smirking Toxicroak stood in front of him with a smirking man behind it. It was the person Tyler bumped into in the food court.
"Heh, we meet again." He greeted with malice in his tone as he eyed the Amaura with grin. "Didn't think you'd the be limp dick that'd be given the target."
"Who are you and what the fuck do you want with me?" Tyler grunted as he stared at the man. Jewel hunkered down into a battle stance and Autumn's tail began collecting fire. Noir leapt from his head and began charging a Dark Pulse.
"My name's not important. All you need to know is that we need the Amaura over there. Now be a good boy and hand it over." The man spoke with a grin. "Or, if you feel like throwing away your pride with a loss, we battle for it."
"Oh yeah? And why should I play with your terms?" Tyler growled back which only caused the man to reach into his pocket and tossing the small object onto Amaura. The man procured a remote from the other hand.
"This should be good enough for you." The man grinned as he pressed a button on the remote. Immediately, electricity shot out of the device, shocking Amaura as she screamed in pain.
"Amaura!" Tyler yelled out before turning to the man. "You sick bastard."
"What, am I supposed to be scared? C'mon, do you want to save her or not?" The man spoke as he tossed the remote up and down.
Tyler looked back at the girls, all of them nodding with determination in their eyes. Tyler smiled as he saw how dedicated they were. Tyler gave all of them a quick scan before beginning.

"Fine. Let's tussle, bitch. You're up, Autumn."
"Finally, I thought you'd pussy out. Singles. If you pull anything, I'll fucking eliminate you." The man spoke before he entered a stance. "Toxic!"
Immediately after, Toxcroak shot summoned a mass of poison right under Autumn.
"Dodge, then Extrasensory!" Autumn leapt to the side just before the mass of poison reached her. Her eyes glowed pink as Toxicroak's image distorted heavily, indicating much more power compared to last time. Toxicroak yelled in pain before falling down to the ground, fainted due to the extremely effective attack.
"What!? Oh you'll get it now, Tyler! Go, Golbat!" The man shoved a hand into his pocket and released the Golbat. Before Tyler could command however, another voice spoke.
"You're up, Skuntank." A short while later, the purple skunk-like Pokemon appeared, accompanied by the purple haired woman and a trio of grunts who released their own Stunky.
"Woah, what the hell? You said it was a singles!" Tyler grunted as he gestured to Noir and Jewel to take a position beside him. "Cheating bastard."
"Yeah, I did say it was a singles. Jupiter here is just too far up her own ass to listen!" The man growled to the purple haired woman, now known as Jupiter. She just wore an unamused gaze.
"To be honest, Saturn, he would've wiped the floor with you. You call me stupid yet you tried to battle a Ninetales with a Poison team. They can learn Psychic attacks, you know." Jupiter calmly responded before turning to Tyler who still gritted his teeth. "As for you, it would be best if you let Amaura go. I am not in the mood for disposing a body."
"To hell with that! She just awoke from an Arceus knows how long slumber, mourning over her family and you sick asses want to take her away? No can do, hombre." Tyler shouted with determination. Amaura was still lying on the ground since she was paralyzed by the device. Despite this, she smiled slightly at Tyler's adamant pursuit to keep her safe.
"Foolish response. You could've gone for the easy way. You don't have that choice anymore. Attack Plan Alpha!" Jupiter yelled, the grunt immediately commanded each of their Pokemon. Saturn and Jupiter also decided to join in. "Golbat, Confuse Ray!" "Skuntank, Night Slash."

A blade made of Dark energy shot straight towards Autumn, followed by a ray of flashing lights. "Autumn, dodge it and use Flamethrower! Jewel, Disarming Voice! Noir, hit Golbat with Dark Pulse!"
Autumn rolled out of the way as the blade passed and exploded behind her. She inhaled a bit before shooting a large jet of fire at the Skuntank. Jewel followed with a sing song yell as a shockwave of pink energy shot out. Noir was about to emit a Dark Pulse before she got hit with Sucker Punch from Stunky A. Stunky B ran up and headbutted Jewel after Skuntank dodged her attack. "Perfect! Golbat, Leech Life!" "Skuntank, Toxic."
"Shit! Autumn, Extrasensory on-" Tyler was cut off as Stunky C tackled him in the chest knocking him into a tree. Tyler heaved in pain and coughed a bit as the leaves stopped falling from the tree.
"Tyler! You….you…bastards!" Jewel yelled as she got up and ran over to Tyler. Autumn looked back with concerned eyes, as did Noir. Unfortunately, their attackers didn't let up.
Golbat rushed to Noir as he bit down on her. She tried her best to dodge but to no avail as she cried in pain at the super effective attack, her energy being sucked out. A blob of poison appeared under Autumn which rushed up and smacked her hard, poisoning her badly. She hissed in pain as the poison began to set in.
"Fuck…Gah. Jewel, Disarming Voice!" Tyler grunted as he stood up and noticed Jewel in front of him. "You shitheads will never get your dirty hands on her!" He yelled before looking at the status of his team. "Dammit…"
"Haha, you're hilarious. You expect to beat us with your current team? Don't be fucking delusional" Saturn remarked with a grin as Golbat and Skuntank nimbly dodged Jewel's attack. "Face it, you're done for."
Tyler looked at Autumn's panting and teetering form as she took the full brunt of the Toxic. He looked to his right and saw Noir bleeding from a deep puncture wound, on the verge of passing out. Tyler returned both of them so they don't get hurt any further. He felt like he was lost at this moment in time. He had failed them. He had failed Amaura. He had failed himself.
Suddenly, a ribbon snaked its way onto his face, touching his cheek tenderly. Tyler looked up at Jewel, who gave him a determined smile. "Tyler, don't give up yet. Autumn and Noir may be out for the count, but that hasn't stopped us from winning, hasn't it?"
Immediately, everything clicked in his head. No, it may seem like there was nothing could be done. But every problem has a solution. He just had to look for it. And he wouldn't be alone.
"No, it hasn't. Thank you, Jewel." Tyler spoke as he caressed Jewel lightly on her cheek this time, who blushed at his touch but still wore the same burning desire to win in her eyes.
Suddenly, the gut feeling Tyler was all too familiar with came back. Though, this time it wasn't followed by dread, it was followed by hope and a feeling of salvation. As if on cue, a large form appeared in the distance, far enough for the Team Galactic personnel to not notice.
"Hoaaah….Are you done with your last words? Let's get this over with. Golbat-" Saturn was immediately cut off by a third voice that roared from the sky.
"Aura Sphere!" The female voice yelled as a Togekiss swooped down and launched a volley of blue balls of energy at the Galactic personnel. As the smoke arose, the Togekiss landed near Tyler and the figure atop extended her arm. She had long blonde hair, gray eyes and wore a long black overcoat with a matching pair of long pants and black high heels.
"Hurry, get on!" She yelled. Tyler quickly followed as he felt she was the source of his gut feeling. He ran over and picked up Amaura before getting on the back of the Togekiss and returned Jewel back into her ball. Without a moment longer, the trio took to the skies and zoomed away from the park at high speed.
As the dust settled, Saturn waved an arm in effort to fan away any residual dust. "Fucking hell…Wait, what the fuck!? Shit, they got away!" He yelled as he scanned the area for the boy and their target. Both of them nowhere to be found.
"She's back." Jupiter simple said with a scowl on her face. "She knows."
"Wait, you don't mean…" Saturn muttered in disbelief.
"Yes."

Somewhere in the sky, Tyler tried hold on for dear life as he had never ridden a Pokemon before. The woman simply sighed before turning her head to look at him.
"Look, you'll never fall off. Togekiss is a seasoned flier, you'll be fine. Just calm down." She spoke in a warm, mature tone. This wasn't out of the ordinary since she looked to be in her forties, judging by the light wrinkles on her face and slight graying of her hair.
"Oh, alright. Thank you, miss…" Tyler replied before trailing off as he didn't know her name.
"Cynthia. And no problem. I've been tracking their movements for some time. Thankfully, I got there just in time." Cynthia responded with a nod. Tyler took a moment before a sudden realization hit him.
"Wait, Cynthia as in Champion Cynthia? The Champion before Lucas!?" Tyler exclaimed with astonishment. Cynthia simply sighed before nodding as she had experience with such reactions.
"Yes, that's me." She confirmed, though something bugged Tyler before it showed itself. "Wait, didn't you also go missing?"
Cynthia kept quiet which made Tyler reconsider his words before he spoke up again. "I-I mean if you don't want to talk about it is fine."
Cynthia sighed again as the trio flew over a large field of flowers, indicating that they were now passing Floaroma Town. This jogged Tyler's memory enough to make him remember something crucial.
Shit, my car's still back in Jubilife. Gah…I can just ask her to turn back, but that'd be rude and probably dangerous. Plus, my back's killing me. I'll think of something when we stop.
"Where are we heading?" Tyler asked as he finished his thoughts.
"Eterna City. I noticed that you injured your back fairly bad and Floaroma's center is not nearly good enough for quick healing." She spoke up as the trio flew by the side of Mt. Coronet. "We should be there in roughly an hour."
Tyler simply nodded and tried to relax as he took in the sights around him.

"Alright dad. I'll see you later." Samuel spoke as he got up from a table in Canalave Library. He and his dad have been talking about his future involvement to the family business, which was the library itself. Samuel kindly declined his offer as he would get bored quickly and wouldn't be a good fit for the job. His dad understood and respected his choice and agreed with him, since Samuel was also the same person to egg the neighbor's house annually every Halloween.
As he exited the library, he felt his phone ring. He noticed the caller ID was Tyler and picked up.
"Yo, what's happening Tyler?"

A few minutes and a lengthy explanation later, Samuel sat on a bench while staring out at the canal. Helios sat right beside him, listening closely.
"Holy shit, all that and it hasn't even been a week. Arceus, you're just a magnet for interesting events, aren't you?"
"You got that right… Honestly, I can barely believe it. Just a few days ago, I didn't have a single Pokemon. Now I've got a fantastic team that can take on anything. Well, almost anything…"
"Yeah yeah, whatever Mr. Ace Trainer. Finished tooting your own horn, jackass?"
"Yeah, whatever. Anyways, I called to ask if you can get me a car since you're a prominent member in the Sinnoh car scene after all. Don't worry, I'll pay. Though, I prefer if it doesn't break the bank."
"Hmm, where are you right now?"
"Eterna City."
"Right, my friend Amanda lives there. She runs a custom shop and she always gets cunts that don't pay for her services. She's bound to have a few cars you can take up. Her shop's at Greninja Drive, can't miss it. Tell her I sent you. Also, don't worry about paying. She owes me a fair amount, heh."
