Chapter 4:

Sam woke up to find Jack over her. "Carter, you alright?". Sam nods. "Yeah, I am fine.". Jack pulled her to her knees where she sat and looked around to register her surroundings. "Where are we?" she asked. Jack shrugged. "Dunno. I don't recognize it." He answered. At that moment, Anubis's First Prime walked in. "The one called O'Neill.". Two strong looking Jaffa took him and dragged him. Sam got up and tried to break the bars but failed. "COLONEL!" she called out.

Jack was thrown in front of Anubis who was on his throne. "O'Neill, at last, I have you at my mercy.". But Jack snorted. "I am not begging for it yet.". Anubis cackled an evil laugh. "You Tau'ri and your humour. But it won't stop me. I brought you here for other reasons. Bring it!".

Two Jaffa came in with a tank, inside was a symbiote. Jack already didn't like this. "Ah no.".

Sam was in her cell when she heard the screams of Jack O'Neill. She couldn't imagine the torture he must be going through. The screams were unbearable. She curled up into a ball to block them out. It didn't work.

The screams died down and she heard footsteps. It was Jack, the Jaffa were escorting him, he stopped in front of the cell. Sam got up and didn't know what was going on, but when Jack's eyes glowed, she stepped back.

"No, no, no, no, no! NO!". Jack or who ever the hell this thing is, smirked. "I am Ares, bow to your god!". Sam didn't. Ares, turned to the Jaffa and said: "Dump her on the planet.". Sam cried out to him, only to get zatted, she woke up on the sands of Abydos, she spits some of it out and found Daniel running to her. "Sam! Are you alright?" the archaeologist asked. Sam didn't answer, she barely looked at him. "Jack's a-a-a Goa'uld.".

Daniel sunk to his knees, Teal'c barely flinched. Daniel then said: "Who did this to him?". Sam shrugged. "He calls himself Ares.". Daniel got up, he was allowing this. "No, I am NOT allowing this!". Teal'c grabbed Daniel by the collar of his jacket. "Get a hold of yourself Daniel Jackson, O'Neill might be taken by the Goa'uld, but we can still save him, the Tok'ra can remove the symbiote.". Sam then asked: "But where is he?".

The arrival back to Earth was unpleasant. Hammond walked up to the team. "Major, where's Jack?". Sam couldn't answer, she crumbled in the Gate room and tears came rolling down her cheeks. Teal'c answered for her. "O'Neill has been taken host by Ares, one of Anubis's allies.". Hammond didn't like this. "When?". "Recently." Answered Teal'c. Hammond sighed. "Get some rest, we debrief tomorrow at 08h00.".

Sam was in her lab, beating the crap out of the wall, sinking to the floor, more tears came running down her face. "She didn't cry this much sense her mother's death.". Images of Jack's face bounced in her mind. She couldn't believe she was this stupid.

Meanwhile, in space:

Ares was on a throne, his First Prime was named Ro'tak. He was a pale skinned man, black beard and bald head, his golden mark glowing in the light. He knelt and spoke to his "god". "My lord, the fleet is ready, who shall we target first?".

Ares thought on it for a second. "The Tollan. My host as a score to settle with them, I attend to finish it, for my own amusement.". Ro'tak rose. "Or course my lord.".
