What's up, fellas! Time to switch things up as I present you Bonus 1 for Roadtrip! "What's a Bonus?" I hear you ask. Well, to put it simply, Bonus chapters contain a collection of skits (sometimes citrus) that feature characters from the main story written in the chat style of the Author's Notes! So expect to see our boi Tyler and his team, his friends and other characters! Keep in mind that none of what happens in these chapters affect the story, they're just for fun and shit. Also, all Bonus chapters will start with the traditional form of A/N like this. Anyways, let's get on with it!

It was a warm summer day in Twinleaf with its signature cool breeze blowing by at times. A hectic scene was about to unfold in the house of our characters.
Josh: Right, is everyone ready? Tyler? Jewel?
Jewel: Never better!
Tyler: Yeah, let's do this!
Josh: Sam? Helios?
Samuel: Hell yeah!
Helios: You bet!
Josh: And begin!
*feet shuffling and paws pattering on the wooden floor*
*pots and pans clanging*
Autumn: Hey Noir, who do you think will win?
Noir: To be perfectly honest, Autumn, I don't know. They both look similarly unexperienced *chuckles*
Ava: I wouldn't say so. Tyler's pretty good at on the fly strategizing and Jewel's good at following orders. Those contraptions look complicated though *points at Jewel trying to shove Pecha berry slices into a blender*
Epsilon: *laughs* Oh trust me, if you think blenders are complicated, try taking a look at the internals of a Metagross or the fundamental code of the Porygon line.
Ava: *tilts head* The what?
*metal bowl clangs on the floor followed by a sharp "Fuck!"*
Ruby: WOOOH! Go Lios!
Noir: Ruby, you don't actually believe that Helios might win, correct?
Ruby: Of course I do! Why wouldn't a Houndoom as cool and handsome as he is not win?
Noir: My suspicions have been proven… *shakes head with a smirk*
Helios: *blushes lightly while handing Samuel a knife*
Epsilon: Why are we doing this anyways?
Josh: Well, Sam claimed he was a better cook than Tyler. Tyler retorted that he was better. To avoid a fight from breaking out, I decided to see who could put their money where their mouth was with a cook off.
Epsilon: Good reasoning. I feel pretty confident in Tyler's abilities since he's not a raving alcoholic.
Samuel: HEY I HEARD THAT *throws plastic cup at Epsilon which bounces off*
Epsilon: *sigh* Steel type, dude. And unless you have a Fire- OH ARCEUS IT BURNS
Helios: *chuckling after launching an ember*
Autumn: Also, I'm right here you know.
Epsilon: Yeah yeah, whatever…. *looks over its burn*
*a couple hours of clanging, burning, yelling, chopping, crying and cheering later*
Josh: And time! Step away from your work!
Tyler: Phew, just in time! Damn, that was close. *pets Jewel*
Jewel: Mhmm! Almost burnt the jam!
Samuel: Fucking hell, that was tough!
Helios: Sam, you were on chopping duty…
Samuel: Don't downplay my contribution, dammit!
Josh: Alright, let's start with the taste tests. Both teams, present your dishes!
*footsteps and paw sounds*
*plate clacking on counter top*
Josh: So, describe what you made.
Jewel: Well, we decided to show off our baking skills, yup! We made a decadent cheesecake-
Tyler: -with Pecha berry jam and a Graham cracker bottom crust. We made the filling-
Jewel: -with the most expensive Moomoo Milk available! Tyler's broke now but it's all worth it! *giggle*
Tyler: *sighs while taking a look at his wallets contents*
Josh: Interesting. Alright, what did you two make? Sam and Hel-
Ruby: WOOO GO LIOS! YOU GOT TH-
Epsilon: *used brick break*
Ruby: Owww, sheesh.
Josh: *clears throat* Anyways, describe what you two made.
Samuel: Pretty simple. We made a hot and spicy bowl of chili accompanied by an array of kick ass sides!
Helios: Yep! We've got some quesadillas, a few chimichangas and a refreshing glass of Tamato berry juice.
Josh: Mhmm, good. Right, let's start the tasting. *grabs a fork and takes a bite of Tyler and Jewel's cheesecake*
Tyler: *crosses fingers*
Jewel: *looks with expectant eyes*
Josh: Mhmmm, pretty good! The filling is creamy and rich, not overly sweet. That's where the jam comes in and adds in the extra sweetness. Though, the crust is a bit lacking, but overall its really enjoyable.
Tyler and Jewel: *simultaneously* Yes! *fist/paw bump*
Josh: Now let's try your dish, Sam and Helios. *grabs a spoon and takes a bite of chili, a small piece of each side*
Samuel: *sweats lightly*
Helios: *sweats heavily*
Josh: *drenched in sweat*
*a few minutes later*
Josh: *retching and heaving in the bathroom*
Autumn: What did you two do?
Samuel: *embarrassed* Well, we added a bit too much spice…
Helios: And I put in way too many Tamato berries, apparently. It's a normal amount for me, but I guess not him.
Autumn: *sigh* We're fire types. We're much more resilient to the various effects of spicy food. Humans, however, aren't.
Epsilon: *nodding* Yeah, didn't you feel something was off after like, the fifteenth berry? Something along the lines of "Wait, isn't this too much?"
Samuel and Helios: No?
Autumn, Epsilon, Noir, Jewel, Tyler, Ruby, Arceus: *facepaw/claw/paw/palm/paw/hoof*
*bathroom door swings open*
Samuel: Heh, hey there Josh… Not looking too good, huh?
Josh: …
Samuel: Imma just go. *steps out of the room*
Helios: H-heh, yeah. Me t-too… *hurries out of the room*
Ruby: Lios, wait for me! *chases after Helios*
Josh: *turns to everyone else* Make sure he doesn't touch another pan again, alright?
Everyone: *nods*
Jewel: …So, did we win?
Epsilon: *inhales* BOI
