Chapter Summary: In this chapter, we see Izuku take part in the theory exam of the Entrance Exam to become a hero. We'll also see what the teachers are thinking at the time as they watch the exam.

Author's Note: Now, I would like to point out that whilst a few of you would like to see this character removed from the story, it won't be happening, 'Dick' will be remaining in the chapter. The reason I'm having him in the chapter is that I needed at least one other male for the teachers to consider as All Might's successor, so, instead of creating a new character, I decided to use a character from a comic who had no superpowers, but yet, still became a hero. Don't worry, he won't become a hero in this story, maybe a vigilante, but not a hero.

Now, I had a few reviews about the last chapter not having any dialogue in it, if you are coming back to give the story another chance, I would like to say that the only reason there wasn't in the last chapter was that I wanted to get to the Entrance Exam chapters quicker. If I did it the way I normally do my work, it would have been a while before we got to the exams and I didn't want that to happen in this story. So, I did it without any dialogue and did a summary chapter, putting in the important information in it. Did it turn out the right way? Maybe not, but I got most of what I wanted in it.

Although, if you think you can help me make it better, but keep the key points there, I would like to hear from you.

Chapter Two…

(The Entrance Exam - Part 1.)

26th of February 2170:

After ten months of training, two of which were hellish, Izuku found himself standing in front of U.A. The young teen was staring at the high school in awe and amazement, until about ten months ago, he never thought that he would be here or at any Hero School.

Yes, the laws were created so that any male teen who wished to become a hero could go to Hero School to try and become heroes. it wasn't easy, you would need to be at the top of your class, to even be considered to enter a Hero School, and most schools would even want you to be able to know how to fight. If you hadn't both of these, most schools would deny them the chance to take part in their Entrance Exams, where they would be tested on their skill, to see if they had what it takes to be a hero. Now, if they failed to pass the Entrance Exam, they would be denied entry to the school. Thankfully, U.A only asks for the potential male hero to have top scores in their old school and pass the school's Entrance Exams.

The only other way a male could get into U.A is by taking the General Classes where they take normal classes and such, or to enter the Support Class where they take normal classes and learn to create support items for U.A Heroes and future heroes, or the last way was to take the Management Classes where they have normal classes, but also learn all aspects of heroic business, from founding and managing hero agencies to executive producing heroes. All the males who wanted to take these classes, like if they wanted to become heroes, had to have top scores from their last school and pass the Entrance Exam. Thankfully, the exams for these classes were slightly easier and not dangerous as the Hero Exams were.

So, to be here as a hero instead of taking part in one of the other classes, Izuku was both thankful and grateful for it, and it was all thanks to All Might. Izuku didn't know how he could thank her for it, but one day he would pay All Might for giving him this chance. Sure, he would have a slim chance on his own, but if it wasn't for All Might's help with upgrading the suit, Izuku didn't think he would have a good chance with the exam, but now he had one and he was going to give it all to pass the exam and show All Might she was right to put her hopes in him to be her successor.

Today was a brand new day for Izuku, a day where he could show he wasn't the same old nervous and meek that he used to be, that he had what it takes to be a hero.

He knew that he would need to keep a cool head during his time at U.A, If he showed any signs that he could be walked over, he feared that some of the girls here might do so without a second thought. He knew that things have gotten better between males and females, there were still a lot of women who believed that they were better because of their quirks, like Katsumi. Izuku hoped that if he passed today's exams, his classmates wouldn't be like Katsumi.

Looking around and realizing that the women were starting to stare at him, whispering if he was okay, seeing how he had been standing there for a while, and so wondering if he was at the right school, he entered the grounds of U.A.

Izuku was thankful that none of them knew that he was here for the Entrance Exams for the Hero Course, as he feared that they would tease him and tell him that he didn't belong here. Right now, all they knew was that he could be here for one of the other exams that were happening today for the other courses. The whispering was mainly because men rarely came to a school that was made up mainly of women with quirks. Women with quirks can be bad enough but going to a school where the most powerful quirks users are was even worse.

Either way, as Izuku walked into the school ground, he heard one voice that always made him nervous and made him feel meek: Katsumi Bakugou.

"Stupid Deku." Katsumi growled as she bumped into Izuku's shoulder, making her way through U.A's gates, before stopping in front of Izuku. "So, you came here to try and become a hero? Are you that desperate to die? You know you'll never make it here; I wouldn't be surprised if you die during the Entrance Exam."

"Listen Katsumi, I might not be as powerful and good as you right now, but that's not going to stop me from becoming a hero." Izuku said meekly, losing whatever confidence he had build-up, but acting more confident than he was, he went on to say, "I've been working for this day for a long time, more so over this last ten months. So don't count me out just yet."

Katsumi was shocked that Deku would talk back to her like this, not once in her life had she known him to do this. She didn't know what happened in the last ten months, but it would seem it changed the dweeb, making him more confident. Whatever the case, if he didn't get in her way, whatever. So, with another growl, she said, "Whatever Deku… I don't know what has gotten into you, but I warn you now. If you get in my way and make it so that I fail to enter U.A, I'll kill you. So, stay away from me and we'll be fine."

And with that, before Izuku could say another word, Katsumi walked off towards the main building of U.A.

Izuku shocked his head at this, although she had left him alone since the Sludge Villain attack, she was still the same as before. But she'll learn soon enough, he wasn't going to back down on this, not with all the training that he has done to get to this point.

Whilst his legs were shaking because of this encounter with Katsumi, he pushed this to the back of his mind. He had to take and pass this exam to be one step closer to becoming a hero and showing the world that you don't need to be a female to be a hero. He also planned to use his armour only, to show that males can become heroes without powers. He would only use One For All when he had no other option. But as he started to walk forward, he managed to trip over an uneven stone in the walkway.

But inches off the ground, he stopped falling and found himself floating in the area.

"Are you okay?" Izuku heard a cheerful female voice, as he turned his head, he saw a cute brunette girl with pink cheeks standing beside him. "I stopped you with my Quirk! I'm sorry I didn't ask first, but… I figured you wouldn't mind me catching you."

"No, I don't mind," admitted Izuku meekly, but putting most of his fears back of his mind again, not wanting her or anyone else to know how afraid he was right now, "I'm thankful that you did, as I didn't want to get hurt. So, thank you."

"You're welcome." the girl said soft-spoken, it would seem that she wasn't as bad as most girls Izuku meet, who sees themselves above him because they had quirks and wanted to be a hero. She seemed somewhat shy, just like him. Maybe, if she was going to become a hero and he got in too, they could be friends. "This is all nerve-wracking, isn't it?" the girl asked as she placed her hands together, letting Izuku return to the ground much more gently. Izuku attempted to respond, but the girl checked her watch and saw the time, and so she said, "Well, I guess I got to get inside, I hope to see you around. Bye!" She gave a friendly wave as she made her way inside

Not knowing what to think here, he decided to enter the school and go to one of the lecture rooms where the theory exams were being held.

As Izuku got to the right room, he looked at the Exam Ticket that he got in the post to see where he would be seated. Once he saw where he would be seated, he made his way there, making sure no one noticed him.

Unfortunately, as Izuku got to his seat, he found that he was seated next to none other than Katsumi. Out of all the girls in the room, she was the very last person Izuku wanted to sit next to, as she made him nervous.

'No, don't think like that, not today.' Izuku told himself, that today of all days, he had to block her out and think about why he was there and forget everything else. So, instead of talking to her, Izuku seat down and waited for the written exam to begin. Thankfully though, Katsumi didn't say a word to him.

He didn't have to wait for long, as a woman walked in, wearing a tan cloak that covers most of her body, the area over her torso, and the high collar resembling that of a double-breasted trench coat. Underneath this, she wears a skin-tight black bodysuit with a golden striped neck area and a matching black helmet that covers her entire head, a jaw-guard attached over her nose and around her jaw, and circular mufflers.

Standing in front of three huge screens and behind a podium, the hero said, "Greetings U.A's hopefuls, I'm Ectoplasm and I'll be your maths teacher should you get into U.A. You can call me sensei or sensei Ectoplasm." explained Ectoplasm, as Izuku muttered to himself about the kind of hero she was. Thankfully, Ectoplasm didn't seem to hear him and so he listened as she went on to say, "Now, I'm your examiner for your theory exam. Now, before I hand out your exam papers, let me explain how things are going to go today. Your theory exam will last for three hours, no more no less. If you finish before the three hours are up, you are to sit there and not make a sound, if you do, you'll fail the exam at that moment and be removed from the school grounds. Which means that you failed to become a U.A student. You'll also be removed from the grounds and fail to enter this school if you get caught cheating or trying to make another student talk in one form or another. Is this understood?"

"Yes, sensei!" all the examinees said at once.

"Good." Ectoplasm said with a smile, "Now after you finish your exam, you'll have an hour and a half lunch break. Where you can rest up for the afternoons part of the exam. Once you have your lunch, you'll return here where another examiner will explain the practical exam." Ectoplasm explained to the examinees. Then, she began to vomit up what appears to be a glowing fluid, which began to form what looked like twenty clones of Ectoplasm. These clones picked up the test papers that were on a table that was next to Ectoplasm. The test papers were in an envelope that said do not open until told otherwise.

As her clones were handing out the test papers, she went on to explain to the possible students "Now, when you open your tests, you have three hours to do your tests. You're given three hours to double-check your answers, so, don't rush. Now, I'll be with the other judges, keeping an eye on you and making sure you're not cheating. Once the time is up, I'll return to let you know." Then looking at her watch, she went on to say, "Now, the time is now nine-thirty, you may now open your tests and start. I'll see you all in three hours times." And with that, the clones disappeared, and she left as Izuku and the other examinees began their test.

The Judges Room:

It has been half an hour since the Hero theory began, and so far, the judges had found three people cheating and so sent one of Ectoplasm's clones to remove them from the school grounds. They were now looking at each of the student's information on the tablets that they had.

As they did, a slim five-foot-eleven white cheetah/tiger-looking woman smiled as she said, "So, we have ten males in today's Hero Exams, make that nine." the tiger woman corrected as one of Ectoplasm's clones left to remove one of the males from the school grounds for cheating. "Not too bad. Shame that it's not as many as a few years ago."

"Maybe they finally realize that as males and without a quirk, they can't become heroes." said a woman with unkempt long black hair, matching black clothing and a bundle of dark grey-like bandages around her shoulders. She had pale skin, C-Cup tits and a tired-looking face with a scar underneath her left eye.

"It doesn't help that you actually expel your male students instead of fake expelling them, Shiho." said a tall curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes, abundant spiky dark purple hair, which was made up of layers of varying lengths, the longest ones reaching down below her waist. Her chin-length bangs were split into three sections: two swept to the sides and one over her face, going diagonally down to the left between her eyes. She also had a small beauty mark below her left eye, as well as red-painted nails

She was wearing her hero costume which was similar to one of a traditional dominatrix. She wore a breastless, black leather leotard - similar in style to a corset - over a thin, skin-tight, white bodysuit, which accentuated her voluptuous figure. The centre strip of her leotard was embellished with red gemstone-like accessories in a vertical pattern, extending from her collar to her midriff.

Now the woman now called Shiho was Shiho Aizawa, also known as The Erasure Hero: Eraser Head. She was well known within the school for faking expelling students, to give them a taste of 'death' as Aizawa calls it, and to show them not to take things for granted. The expulsion only lasted for a few days before Aizawa re-enrol them into the school. But with the male students, she would expel them permanently.

"You're just upset that I expelled your eye candy before you could get your claws into them, Nemuri." Shiho informed Nemuri, also known by her Hero name the R-Rated Hero: Midnight, with a slight smirk. Before Midnight went on to say anything about this, Shiho went on to say, "Listen, I didn't permanently expel them for the hell of it. Those males were only here for one reason, for the women. Don't get me wrong, I can deal with perverts without a problem, seeing I deal with one every day anyway." Eraser Head said with a knowing smile as she looked at Midnight, "But when I test them, they don't show any potential or the willingness to learn or train. So I expelled them to save me and them time."

The cheetah/tiger-looking woman could sense a fight coming, she said, "Come on you two, you two can deal with this later, for now, we have examinations to deal with. So, let's keep our attention on this."

"Yes, Principal Nozomi." the two heroes said together, knowing that their principal was right. Not only that, but she wasn't someone you would like to upset. As she would make you pay in ways you wouldn't think of, ways that made you wish that you didn't upset her in the first place.

Nozomi then put the students up on the screens, so that they could take a look at each of the examinees.

But before they could do so, the door opened and All Might entered the room, in her hero form. Upon seeing her, Principal Nozomi said, "All Might, glad you could make it."

"What are you doing here?" asked Aizawa, not a big fan of All Might. For Eraser Head, All Might was reckless and relied on the press too much. Aizawa believes that the press was counterproductive, as they created more problems for heroes than they helped. This is why Aizawa tried to have very little to do with the press. She had no time for her.

Before All Might could answer Aizawa's question, Nozomi said, "All Might, why don't you change into your normal form? You're among colleagues, they'll learn about your true form sooner or later."

The teachers looked at the principal and All Might in confusion, wondering what the principal was talking about. But before any of them could ask about this, All Might be transformed into her normal form, knowing that Nozomi was right, that her colleagues would learn about her true form sooner or later.

"What's this about?" asked Aizawa.

"It'll all be explained during lunch, where I'll be explaining this with the other teachers." explained Principal Nozomi, "I don't have to tell you this, but for the safety of the school and for All Might, none of this is allowed to be told to anyone else. Nor are you allowed to write it down either, as if villains learn about what you'll be learning, they'll come after All Might."

"Understood." said the teachers. Sure, they had questions, but they could wait until lunchtime.

"Whilst I understand that she'll be a teacher here when school starts, it doesn't explain why All Might is here." said Aizawa.

All Might look at the principal who understood the unasked question, Nozomi said, "It's up to you."

All Might thought it would be best if they knew at least some of the truth, seeing how she'll be helping young Izuku in the future to train and fight. It would raise questions as to why she would be helping a boy out over the girls, they might think she was sleeping with him. Not that she didn't want to, but that was neither here nor there right now. She was there to help him train and master One For All.

"To check in to see how my successor is going, and to drop something off for them." explained All Might, "You see, for reason's that'll be explained later, I came to U.A to find myself a successor." explained All Might, shocking everyone there, they never thought that the Symbol of Peace would be looking for a successor. Okay, they did know that one day she would look for one, but not so soon. All Might went on to explain, "As in a few years if I'm lucky, I'll be forced to retire."

This shocked everyone there, making them forget that they meant to be watching exams for cheaters for a few moments. They never once thought that All Might would retire so soon. One day sure, a hero could never stay a hero forever, but they never thought that All Might would do so, so soon. They wanted to know why but suspected that they would learn this over lunch.

"So, who's the lucky girl who has become your successor?" asked Midnight.

"Yeah, what child do we have to look out for so that we can prevent them from turning out like you?" asked Eraser Head.

"To begin with, they are a boy, not a girl." All Might informed the teacher in the room, shocking them all.

"What are you thinking!?" yelled Eraser Head, "I always suspected that you were a blonde bimbo, but this just takes the cake. Why would you pick a Quirkless male? He more than likely came here to try and pick on the girl naked, like most of the males before him."

"Shiho, please mind your manners, All Might has every right to pick whoever he wants as his successor." Nozomi informed Shiho.

"So, tell me, what makes this young boy different from other males that try to apply here at U.A?" asked Midnight, with a hint of lust in her eyes.

"I won't say much about him until later, but the young boy is different to most males that I've come across." All Might admitted to the teachers, "He has what I think it takes to be a true hero. Although he knew that it won't be easy to be a hero without a quirk, he has come up with an ingenious way to deal with these challenges. I'll admit there's another reason, but I'll leave that until this afternoon should he decide to reveal this or not."

This caught most of the teacher's interest, wondering what this boy did to get Japan's No. 1 Hero's attention to make him her successor. So, Midnight asked, "So, tell us All Might, who is this boy and how did he catch your attention?"

"Hmm, you know what, you'll find out this afternoon," All Might said with a smile, deciding to have a bit of fun, "he'll stand out from the rest of the males in the practical exam."

This got their interest, wondering how this male was different. To them, they were powerless without quirks and could put themselves and others in danger, by trying to be heroes. Sure, whilst they can't become heroes they become vigilantes to play out their dreams of being heroes, but normally that only lasted for a few years. As the most that these male vigilantes could handle were Quirk Users with weak quirks.

Now, if these vigilantes were to stay fighting the villains that they could handle, then things would be fine. But, unfortunately, sooner or later, these vigilantes would try and take on a more powerful villain, to try and make a name for themselves, to prove that they can handle powerful villains like any other hero. But that's where the problem comes in. If they aren't arrested for doing too much damage or pissing off a hero, the lucky ones get so severely hurt that they have to give up being vigilantes. Although there have been some cases where they got so severely hurt, that they wished for death, either because they lost a body part or/and the pain never heals and they live with it for the rest of their lives. The real unlucky ones are those who are killed by these powerful villains, either that or they made some mistake in their job that got them killed. Sure, getting killed was part of being a hero, but it happens a lot more with male vigilantes.

So, with that in mind, the teachers had to wonder what was so special about this boy that All Might would pick him as her successor?

"I'll need to watch the footage tomorrow, I need to rest this afternoon for my portal this evening." said Eraser Head, not really caring about All Might's successor. If the boy was able to pass these exams and get into her class, she would just expel him as she did with the other males. With still being an active Underground Hero, she didn't have time to deal with wannabe heroes. She could use that time resting up for the evening portals.

"Well, if you're not going to tell us who's your successor, we should get back to what we were doing before." Midnight said with a smirk.

"And that would be?" asked All Might, wondering why the R-Rated Hero was smirking.

"We were about to take a look at each of the examinees." explained Nozomi.

"How about we start with the males?" asked Midnight, "This way we can see the possible candidates that All Might might have picked for her successor."

"Sure, we can do that." Nozomi agreed with a smile, liking what was happening. It would be interesting to see if any of her teachers could guess who All Might's successor was. Then pushing a few keys on the keypad in front of her, Nozomi put up the ten males on the screen five of which had red crosses on their pictures, showing that they were caught cheating.

"So, out of the five left, is your successor still in the exams?" asked Midnight.

All Might didn't have to look at the screen, as he knew that young Izuku wouldn't cheat. But still, that didn't mean that mistakes couldn't be made, or others might try to frame her successor. So she was relieved to see that Midoriya was still up there.

The first three that they saw were nothing special, sure they had top scores in their exams from their junior high schools, and did sports and other activities to keep fit. But, from the questionnaire that they filled out, whilst answering the questions right and the way the school board wanted to see, the teachers could see that they didn't seem to take being a hero seriously.

For those who were Quirkless and wanted to be heroes, the teachers wanted them to have some form of training before trying to take the Hero Course Exam. They didn't need to know how to fight, as that's what U.A was for, but they hoped they would have done some sort of training to become stronger than the average male. So that they would have a fighting chance at becoming the first male hero.

The last two were more interesting: Richard "Dick" Grayson and Izuku Midoriya. Although, out of the two, Dick Grays on as the boy preferred to be called, was more interesting.

As they looked at Grayson's file, his picture showed him to have a lean, well-toned build, with blue eyes and black hair that looked unkempt, hanging over his forehead. Looking at the kid's file a bit deeper, it would seem the reason for his well-toned build was to reflect his ability as an acrobat and skill in martial arts and gymnastics.

It would seem that Grayson was an orphan. He was a child of the acrobatic circus family The Flying Graysons of Haly's Circus. His parents John and Mary, along with his older cousin John and aunt Karla, were killed when a villain by the name of Killer Frost, attacked the Haly's Circus, as the circus fired her years ago and came back to pay them back for it. Other than Dick, the only survivor was his uncle Rick, who lost both of his legs thanks to the attack; he wasn't unable to care for his nephew. Because of this, he became an orphan and was sent to an orphanage. Thankfully, Grayson was adopted by the billionaire Bryce Wayne, who was a small-time pro-hero known as Batwoman.

Thanks to Batwoman being rich, it would seem that Grayson went to an all-boys school, where he was top of his class. Batwoman also made sure that Grayson kept learning acrobats, martial arts and gymnastics. By the looks of things, it seemed that Batwoman wanted Dick to be her sidekick

The next file that they looked at was Izuku Midoriya. To the teachers, there wasn't anything special about him. He had better school scores than the first three males and did some sort of training to become stronger and learn some basic fighting moves to help him to become a hero, something that the other three didn't seem to have done. Another point for him was that ten months ago, he worked hard for eight months to clean the Takoba Municipal Beach Park, which was a perk in their books.

For years it has been a junkyard for people. It hadn't always been like that, but when trash started coming from the sea for years, turning it from a beautiful beach spot into a trash heap, people thought that seeing no one was doing anything about it, they would use it as their own junkyard. So, for young Midoriya to clean the beach as part of his training, so that he could return to the way it used to be, spoke volumes for his character.

But, at the end of the day, it didn't really mean much. Unlike Grayson who had battle training and other training to become a hero, Midoriya had nothing to show off. The only thing that was going for him was cleaning up Takoba Municipal Beach Park and having better looks of the five males. In fact, Midnight and a few others wouldn't mind to know him better seeing how he was great eye candy.

"So, ladies, how about a small bet?" asked Nozomi, this made the teachers worried, seeing how the bets with the principal didn't always end up well for them. Seeing this, Nozomi smiled and said, "Nothing too bad this time, all the losers have to do is help in the Detention Hall for a month." hearing this, the teachers there had to admit that as bets went with the principal, this one didn't sound too bad. It could have been a lot worse. So with that in mind, they all agreed with the bet.

"So, you know, once you place your bets, you can't change it." Nozomi added once they agreed with the bet, they also agreed to this too.

"Okay, of the five remaining males, who do you think All Might might have picked to become her successor?" asked Nozomi.

"Well, it's safe to assume that out of the five boys, we can all say it's between Grayson and Midoriya?" asked Midnight.

"It would be logical," admitted Shiho, "out of the five, those two are the only two that seemed to have done any sort of training to be heroes."

The other teachers agreed with Shiho's reasoning.

"So, which of the two do you think it is?" asked Nozomi with a smile, a smile that told the teachers it was one of these two.

"Whilst Midoriya is slightly better looking of the two, I would have to pick Grayson." Midnight placed her bet, shocking the teachers, as they were sure she would have picked the better-looking male, "To become a hero, to be All Might's successor, you would need to be more than strength and basic fighting moves, so with Grayson's training background, I would put my vote on him as All Might's successor."

The teachers there were shocked at Nemuri's reasoning, as she wasn't known for reasonable and logical thinking. "I have to admit whilst I'm shocked that Nemuri thought logically, instead of wanting some eye candy at school, I can't fault her reasoning. I too would think All Might would pick someone who has the skills and is raised by a hero than someone who isn't." said Eraser Head.

Out of the twelve teachers there, other than Nozomi and All Might, ten of them believe that Grayson was All Might's successor. Which left two teachers to have their say, Ectoplasm and the Pro-Hero, Voice Hero: Present Mic, otherwise known as Hikaru Yamada.

Hikaru was 5ft 6in, with blonde hair which was in a bun. She was wearing a black crop top bikers jacket that had a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots.

Not only that, but she also had tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. Her neck was obscured by a directional speaker. Lastly, she was wearing a pair of silver-rimmed glasses with orange-tinted lenses, she also was wearing a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband.

Now Hikaru put her bet in, "I think that All Might might have picked young listener Midoriya."

"Why would you pick him?" asked Aizawa, "He has no fighting skill and is a nobody."

"Because of that I believe that's why she picked Midoriya," said Midoriya, "He is a clean slate, better to teach him. He won't have another person's ways of doing things. All Might could make him the hero she wants or allow him to be the hero he wants to be. He doesn't have someone else's beliefs to go with. And as teachers, isn't it our place to teach new heroes how to fight and how to be a hero? I myself would like to see how someone without a background like Grayson's, could turn out as a hero."

A few of the others didn't think about it like that and saw it as an ideal idea, but as Nozomi said, once they made their bet, they couldn't change it. But still, there were some, like Aizawa, who still think that having training would make Grayson the better successor as they believe that All Might still teach him her beliefs.

Midnight then asked, "So Ectoplasm, who do you think All Might has picked as her successor?"

"Midoriya." Ectoplasm said simply, before going on to explain her reasoning, "I don't know if any of you remember this, but he was on the news about ten months ago, where he tried to rescue a hostage from a Sludge Villain when the heroes at the time were standing by because they didn't have the powers to deal with the problem at hand."

"Yeah, I remember that news report," admitted Present Mic, "I believe Kamui Woods, Death Arms, Backdraft and Mt. Lady were on the scene at the time, dealing with Sludge Villain and the fire that was being created by the Sludge Villain's hostage. Because of the fires being out of control, and the villain being made of sludge, they were limited as to what they could do. So, they waited for a hero who could help." there were a few whispers about this, as they began to remember something like that on the news

The heroes there couldn't believe that a hero would leave a hostage alone in danger because they didn't have the skills. At U.A, they taught the students to think out of the box, so that if they found themselves in a situation where their quirks were unfit for the situation, they could at least think of a way to try and help people without their quirks.

"That's right," said Ectoplasm, "but young Midoriya ran in and tried to save the hostage, at his own risk, no powers, nothing, just to save someone."

"You're kidding me right?" Aizawa asked in disbelief, "You're going to say that's what makes a hero here? I don't think so, he is lucky that he wasn't killed and proves to me that he shouldn't be a hero. Doing that could not only get him killed but others too. Seeing that he is still alive, a hero must have saved him and the hostage."

"Yes, I'm saying that exactly." Ectoplasm told Aizawa, "There will be times that our quirks will be useless to save someone, and that day will prove who the true hero is. To me, if they know that they are powerless and there's a risk to their lives, that's what a hero is meant to be. So, if Midoriya's actions aren't a sign of a hero, I don't know what is. This to me is a good enough reason for All Might to pick him as her successor." although Aizawa still didn't think the same, the other heroes could see Ectoplasm's point of view, "In fact, All Might was there and helped Midoriya get away from the heroes that were telling the boy off for doing something they should have done, and from the reporters."

"You were there?" asked Midnight, wondering if she made the wrong bet here.

"Oh, I remember now, young Midoriya even told the heroes off too when they had a go at him," Present Mic said thoughtfully, "telling them that someone had to do something instead of waiting for another hero to come. As by the time that happened, the hostage could have been killed."

Those that had voted for Grayson, apart from a handful, if they hadn't already wished that they had voted for Midoriya were now doing so. And not only because of his actions to save someone.

It takes guts and courage to be heroes, but more so to talk back to heroes like Midoriya. Even though Aizawa had to give young Midoriya points here for taking these heroes down a peg or two. And whilst still believing that Grayson was the better option of the two, Aizawa was beginning to realize she had picked the wrong male. Hearing what Midoriya did, it was the kind of thing All Might would want to see in a successor, foolish and bullish. It would seem that this Midoriya was a problem child in the making and if he passed today's exams today, he would become a problem for the school.

"Yeah, I was," admitted All Might, answering Midnight's questions, "I caught the villain earlier that day, but one thing led to another and the villain escaped and I was looking for her to recapture her." All Might wasn't going to explain how Izuku was invalid seeing how they might look down on him because of this. "I felt that Midoriya didn't deserve the heroes telling him off or the harsh words that they were going to give him for talking to them like he did. He also didn't need to deal with the reporters should they get hold of him. So, I helped him out."

"Well, in that case, with the bets in, let's get on and look at the other examinees." said Nozomi, not wanting people to think about this subject too much more. Not wanting them to think about the connection between All Might and Izuku Midoriya.

"I would like to look at the examinee Katsumi Bakugou." said Ectoplasm.

As Nozomi put Bakugou's file on the screen, Midnight asked, "So, who's this Bakugou?"

"The hostage that young Midoriya helped to rescue," explained Ectoplasm, "I saw her in the exam room."

"Oh…" a few of the teachers said, as they remembered the events of ten months ago. Looking up on the screen, they saw Bakugou's quirk was called Explosion. From the notes that they were reading, the user is able to excrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from their palms and ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes.

The teachers were amazed by this, it was a powerful quirk and one that was useful to be a hero. One of the teachers said, "I'm surprised that you didn't pick her. She has a powerful quirk and good grades. You could train her well to be your successor."

"She isn't who she seems to be." All Might told the teacher, the short, skinny woman. She had a very youthful appearance, with spiky ginger hair, reaching just past her shoulders, dull blue eyes, as well as a notably largemouth. Her hands appear to be the largest part of his body, disproportionate to his rather small frame, and All Might suspected that due to her quirk, she has an orange L-shaped piece at the end of each finger.

She was wearing her hero costume, which consists of a large yellow helmet in the shape of a rectangular excavator claw, the top piece of which protruding outwards to cover her head and most of her face, and the bottom piece left to act as something of a long jaw-guard. She wears a leather bralette bra and wears a pair of large, fingerless grey gloves with metal guards that extend down her arms, as well as a pair of plain cyan pants.

"What do you mean?" asked Shiho.

All Might knew she had to be careful here, so as not to let slip how close she and young Midoriya really were right this moment. So, thinking carefully she said, "When I rescued young Midoriya, I asked him why he did so. He told me he did it for two reasons, first was that his body moved before he could think about it. The other reason was because of Bakugou, the two of them used to be friends, and he didn't want to see his old friend getting hurt."

"But what does this have to do with you saying that Bakugou isn't who she seems to be?" asked the woman with the leather bralette bra.

"I won't say much, seeing how I believe that people can change given the chance and the right people," began All Might, "but I'll tell you this. Whoever ends up teaching her, needs to keep an eye on her. For years, her teachers and many of the children at her old school have told her that she had a great and powerful Quirk that she could do whatever she wanted. So, because of this, she became arrogant, thinking she could do no wrong and that she is the best when she isn't. So, whoever ends up teaching her, they might have their work cut out for her."

"So, are you saying that we shouldn't take her in?" asked Nozomi.

"No, I'm not." All Might told the principal, "As I said, I believe people should have a chance to change given time and the right people to help her. All I'm saying is that if she passes the exam today, as I strongly suspect she will, whoever teaches her will have their work cut out for them. They'll need to show that she isn't all that special as many made her believe she is. It might be helpful if you have her visit your Guidance Counsellor and have her deal with the problems she has if she can't change. As you see, she has a great quirk, and I don't want to lose her as a hero. But at the same time, she needs to understand she can't push people around and think she can get away with things because she has a good quirk."

"I see, I'll keep a close eye on her myself." said Nozomi, "Like you, I don't want to lose her as a possible future hero. But at the same time, like you, if she's that bad, I don't want her to carry on with the way she acts. We don't need another Endeavor." everyone nodded at this, as they thought about Endeavor and how whilst she is the second strongest hero in Japan, her personality, and the way she acts towards people makes her look bad to certain people. So, they don't want another one with Bakugou.

"Either way, let's continue looking through the other students and see who might be joining us in April." said Nozomi, as she changed the screen to another student. And so, for the remainder of the exam, whilst keeping an eye out for cheats, which thankfully there weren't any more, they looked at possible students that might make it into U.A in April.

When the theory exam was done, the teachers and the students went to lunch.

To Be Continued!

Author's Note: Here ends the next chapter of The Armoured Hero: Paladin, I hope that you enjoyed this chapter and the first half of the Entrance Exam. Sure, it isn't much, but from what I know, this is the first time someone wrote the exams like this, as I haven't found anything like this before. So I'm writing it from the top of my head and so I wasn't sure how to write it. So, I did it like this. But have to admit, I like how it turned out, even if it wasn't entirely what I planned. Although, with the teachers talking and looking over the examinees, I've seen it happen twice, but not as much detail as I have done it. So, I hope that you enjoyed it

The next part is going to be a bit more fun, more from the teacher's point of view, but we'll see Izuku using his power armour to fight the robots. There'll be a few changes to this world's practical exam for the Entrance Exam, to show that this world is more different than the one we know of. Just be warned, I'm not good with fight scenes, so I don't know how I'll work out, I just hope I do it well.

As you can see, I have changed how All Might acts in this story. Other than changing his sex to a female, I also wanted to change her personality and the way she acts too. Want to show a bigger change to this world All Might other than the sex change. Hope you like it.

Yes, I changed Nezu/Nozomi's race too, I did so to make her bigger for the fun ahead.

Lastly, I would like it if people could stop comparing my story to Total Control, the two stories are completely different, and it has seventy-six chapters and this story has only three chapters - so there's nothing to really compare the two with. Also, in Total Control, it took eight chapters for it to get to the Entrance Exam and five chapters after that before the U.A begins. Something that's not going to happen in this story. Not only that, Total Control had Izuku meet a lot of the students before starting U.A, something a lot of people don't like. So, seeing how this has only got three chapters, please give it a chance before you say Total Control is better.

To the Guest Reviewer JoxterTheMighty7 from fanfiction dot net, the plot hole about Izuku's dad, sure, I haven't put too much information about him, but, at least I have explained why he won't be in the story, something a lot of stories don't do. Something Total Control didn't do either. But I can deal with it in the next chapter. (Now, if any of my readers spot any plot holes that I might miss, please let me know and I'll try and deal with them in future chapters if I can. I can't say I can do so all the time, but I'll try and deal with them when I can.)

As for Izuku not doing anything to gain power, you must have skipped parts of the story, but I had Izuku train to grow stronger and learn some basic fighting moves before going to U.A. So, you can't say that Izuku didn't do anything to gain power on his own. Now, I could have Izuku learn to make his own suit, but where would he or his family get the money to build it before getting into U.A, even after getting in, seeing how they were a poor family? Not only that, but unlike Total Control that you say you prefer to read, these characters are the same age as in the anime, so Izuku would have to wait until he got into college/university to get such information, seeing how I haven't made Izuku a super genius. So, to deal with this, I had Izuku's father call in a few favours to get the basic suit built and have the rest built later.

For world-building, I normally take a few chapters to do so, not put all of it in one chapter. But, as I said at the start, I wanted to get to the Entrance Exam as soon as possible, so my normal world-building took a hit.

So you know, this story isn't about women treating men as slaves, nor about gender politics as you put it, This is an A.U What If story, where the roles are revised. Where men have to work hard and fight to get better jobs and pay, instead of women. Before you say that women don't do that anymore, sorry to tell you this, whilst not as common as it used to be, we still hear the rare cases where it does. So, don't say it doesn't. If, as one person said to me, women have more power than men ever had because of the almighty vagina., if I'm reading into it right, that just shows that things aren't as good as they should be.

Finally, JoxterTheMighty7, if you're reading this, for the men who found the way to have children without women, that's only for those who live on Otoko Island, for the so-called Elite Men, the men that believe that they are better than women and who believe men should hold power again and not women. There are a few women, those who were born there or women who moved there for their own reasons

For the rest of the world, it is like our world, apart from the role change and needing to fight to be a hero and the like.

Now, for the rest of the readers who had to read that rate, I'm truly sorry for that. But when I get a review that grinds my gears like this one did and I have no way to reply to the reviewer, I write a reply in the story with the hope that whoever sent it sees this and gets my feelings for their review.
