Tyler: Hey, did you hear? Lando Norris got a podium in Austria. I knew McLaren would be faster this year, but damn.
Samuel: Hell yeah. Such a shame Alex Albon made contact with Lew-
*door slams*
BM: HOLY SHIT WE MADE IT TO- OOF!
Tyler: Thanks, Noir.
Noir: My pleasure, Tyler.
BM: You didn't have to punch me in the gut, you know…
Noir: I suppose you're right, Bruh. Apologies.
BM: Damn right, you are… What.. What was I about to say…?
Autumn: *sighs* I'll take it from here. Hey there, everyone. Welcome back to another chapter of Roadtrip! First and foremost, we'd like to say- woah!

Everyone: *sighs and nods*
BM: Thank you. Ahem, responding to your suggestions, critiques and observations of my mistakes which there are a lot of. So keep them coming! Anyways, that's it for the time being and let's get right back to the story.

Epsilon: Too….h-heavy….get off me….Bruh….
BM: Heh, whoops.
Epsilon: You too, Noir.
Noir: You are no fun, Epsilon.
Disclaimer: am no company owner ok
Disclaimer dos: I'm now referring to Epsilon as a he. Why? For reasons.
"Ruby, Night Slash!"
"Autumn, dodge left then use Flamethrower!"
Ruby bounded and ran towards Autumn, swinging her horn at her. Autumn rolled left, barely dodging her and launched a stream of fire at the Dark type.
"Jump back then Sword's Dance!"
"Don't let her get away, Autumn! Quick Attack!"
Ruby leapt backwards and proceeded to do her buff. Autumn's ran at blinding speed towards the Absol. Josh grinned.
"Sucker Punch now!"
"Wait, shit!"
Before she could react, Autumn was struck head on by Ruby, knocking her off her feet and launching her a few meters. Autumn groaned. Tyler shook his head and lifted his hand up.
"Alright, that's enough. Sorry about that, Autumn. Should've known he was going for a trap." Tyler apologized as he rubbed Autumn's back and spraying a Super Potion on her. "You hurt?" He asked.
"No, I'm fine, Tyler but uh… can you keep rubbing, please…?" Autumn spoke with a blush. Tyler chuckled and obliged, continuing to pet and rub her.
It was two days after the incident at Eterna Forest. After recovering enough to fully answer any questions, Gardenia had told the media on what happened, though she left out Tyler's identity on his request. An investigation and exploration team was sent out to the location of the battle.
Upon close investigation and medical analysis, the group of Scythers were around level 32 to 38. It was also discovered that there were traces of unknown substances in their circulatory system. After the test samples have been taken for deeper analysis, the Scythers were sent off to the Pokecenter for healing, before eventually being sent to a rehabilitation center. They were expected to make a full recovery.
Tyler, Josh, Samuel, Vince and Amanda met up during the evening of the day before. Unsurprisingly, Samuel had no idea Tyler and Josh were part of a secret selection of talented trainers chosen by the former champion herself. All of them became quick friends, with Vince asking for him to be included since he had shown exceptional battle prowess as well. Cynthia agreed. The group of five proceeded to party, with Samuel partying the hardest.
Today, they, apart from Samuel who was recovering from a hangover and Amanda who was managing her shop, were spending their day by training.
"That was a good match, Tyler, regardless if you've got two gym badges or not." Josh grinned as he and Ruby made their way to Tyler's end of the arena. Tyler smiled as he continued petting Autumn, who had a content grin on her face.
"Thanks, you too. Damn, you were really on point, huh?" Tyler remarked, getting Josh to smile and point towards Ruby, who was already making her way to Ava and Jewel who were watching from the sidelines. Noir and Epsilon were sparring against each other.
"Mostly her, but thanks anyways." Josh said as he sat down on a nearby bench. Tyler picked Autumn up and walked over to his team. Jewel smiled wide as she ran over. Ava perked up and walked over to him.
"Hey, Tyler! I managed to improve my Swift! Look!" Jewel yipped happily before turning around and launching a more concentrated volley of pink stars at a nearby boulder. The rapid explosions chipped away at most of the boulder, leaving only a small amount of it left.
"Wooh… That was great! You really do have battling in your blood, huh?" Tyler chuckled before placing Autumn down and kissing Jewel on her forehead. She giggled in response. Tyler then took notice of Ava who was patiently waiting with a smile on her face.
"And I'm guessing you have some good news too?" Tyler spoke with a grin. Ava nodded with a smile.
"You're right. I feel like I've grown a few levels. If you don't mind, can you check with your uh… Poikeydecks thing?" Ava asked. Tyler laughed a bit.
"I think you mean Pokedex and sure." He spoke as he pointed his phone at her and gave her a scan.
Species: Amaura
Trainer: Tyler Whiting
Battle Level: 34
Ability: Refrigerate
Learned Moves: Powder Snow, Thunder Wave, Rock Throw, Take Down, Aurora Beam, Ancient Power, Magnet Rise, Round
"Woah ho, you did. You grew by four levels! That's good." Tyler spoked and nodded before pocketing his phone. Just then, a loud 'thump' could be heard as Epsilon struck the ground. Noir looked triumphant in her victory. Epsilon just gave an annoyed sigh in response.
"Alright, you can take your foot off me, now…" It buzzed in annoyance. Noir simply giggled in response.
"Trust me, I will. Though, I do feel fantastically powerful in this position." She spoke with a mischievous grin before eventually stepping off the disgruntled Steel/Psychic type. Epsilon began to hover and rolled it's eyes, which made Noir's grin grow.
"Hey there, you two. Seems like training's going well, huh?" Tyler spoke as he walked over to them, followed closely by Jewel, Autumn and Ava.
"You are correct. Epsilon is quite tough for a Pokemon at a type disadvantage." Noir answered with a grin as she clinked her claws on Epsilon's metal frame. Ava nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. You took her Dark Pulse like a champ. You're so cool!" Ava spoke as her small tail wagged. Epsilon looked somewhat 'flustered', as indicated by him scratching the back of his body awkwardly.
"W-well thank you, Ava." It replied nervously. Tyler and the rest chuckled in response.
Roughly an hour after that, Vince and Daisy could be seen heading towards them, both of them carrying bags. Amanda, who had just arrived a few minutes after Josh and Tyler's match, noticed first.
"Ah, heya Vince! What took you?" She asked as she made her way to Vince, followed closely by Josh and Tyler. Vince sighed as Daisy frowned a bit, rubbing her head on her trainer to cheer him up.
"Sorry for being late to our training session, I had to make it to an impromptu meeting last night. Accidentally overslept this morning." Vince spoke before raising the two large bads in his hands and pointing to Daisy's. "Anyways, I got all of us lunch. I figured all of you'd be pretty hungry by now."
"Oh, you didn't have to. But thanks, nonetheless." Tyler replied as he patted his friend's shoulder. The group of trainers made their way to their Pokemon and had lunch. Sub sandwiches were their meal, filled with various fillings for various appetites.
As they were eating, none of them noticed the scene that was unfolding in the Pokecenter right next to them. The glass door slid open, revealing a Houndoom nudging and pushing his stumbling trainer outside, which got a few laughs from bystanders.
"Hey, isn't that Sam?" Jewel asked as she was the first one to notice the still hungover teen and his Houndoom. Tyler turned around and sighed as she was correct. He got up with a smirk and walked over to him.
…
"Umm, excuse me… sir?"
"Hmph. Speak."
"W-we've finalized t-the creation of the DRJ… T-though we s-still don't know if it wo-"
"Good. Keep it on standby."
"B-But s-sir-"
"Did you not hear me? Keep. It. On. Standby."
"A-Absolutely! We'll-"
"Dismissed. You have spoken enough. Leave me be."
"O-of course, C-Cyrus, sir." The scientist stuttered as he made a dash out of Cyrus' command room. Cyrus sighed as he glanced up at the large monitor on the wall behind his desk. Seven pictures could be seen. Four teenaged boys, one teenaged girl, a yellow haired middle aged woman and a brown haired man in his thirties. He glared at the pictures in disgust.
"The road to victory is never easy. Obstacles are the norm. Now, we have seven."
…
"Shit… I'm never downing five Moscow mules in a row in the future…" Samuel groaned lightly as he clutched his head. Tyler passed him a cup of strong coffee. "Thanks, Ty."
"No probs. At least you tried to keep your dick in your pants this time." Tyler joked with Jewel and Autumn giggling. Noir simply smiled as she was busy trying out Breath of the Wild on Tyler's Switch. Ava was amazed by the gaming device and the TV. Epsilon was taking a quick rest.
"Ha… fuck you." Sam spoke as he took another sip from his cup. Suddenly, both his and Tyler's phone got a notification at the same time.
Two hours later, the group of five trainers and their Pokemon stood in a large clearing near the east end of Eterna City. All five of them had received Cynthia's message, with Vince arriving first, followed closely by Tyler, Samuel, Josh and Amanda. They made small talk while waiting for her and Lucas.
A few minutes later, a Togekiss dove down and landed. His riders got off, one of them being Cynthia and the other being a fairly tall man in his thirties with short brown hair. He wore a red long sleeved sweater and his signature white scarf around his neck. He had deep blue trousers and black and white sneakers, accompanied by a brown satchel. He also wore a worn red beret which was from his old pre-Champion days.
"Hello, everyone. I'm pretty sure you know who I am." He said with a polite but still youthful smile. Everyone nodded with various reactions, ranging from smiles to awestruck faces.
"Ohmyarceusitsactuallylucasomigosh-" Amanda mumbled with glee. Vince glanced at her before turning to Lucas with a smile. Tyler and Samuel looked excited. Surprisingly, Josh walked up to Lucas before both of them shook hands.
"Good to see you, Uncle." Josh spoke as he released his handshake. Lucas smiled and chuckled.
"It's nice to see you too, Lil Josh." He spoke before noticing the shocked faces of Tyler, Josh, Samuel and Amanda. Cynthia had her hands on her hips and smiled.
"W-wait, you're Josh's uncle!?" Tyler exclaimed with surprise. Lucas laughed and nodded while crossing his arms.
"Yeah, I am. My sister's his mom. You haven't told them before, Josh?" Lucas asked as he turned to Josh who shook his head with an apologetic expression.
"Well, no I haven't. Sorry guys, should've told you before." Josh replied with an awkward chuckle. Everyone apart from Cynthia looked at him with an 'are you kidding me' look. No normal person wouldn't talk about their uncle being the Champion of Sinnoh.
"Right, let's get to the reason I've called all of you here. We've heard from our scouts that Team Galactic have something big planned." Cynthia spoke before stepping forward and beckoning everyone to come close. She the procured a photograph from her satchel. Though it was a bit blurry and the lighting was poor due to it being taken at night and from inside a bush, it showed a couple of Galactic grunts unloading a complex looking machine from the rear of an unmarked truck.
"This is it. The machine in the picture is-" Cynthia spoke before being interrupted.
"A hydrogen powered generator. They use them in the backup powerplants all over Sinnoh, mostly in the big cities like Hearthome, Jubilife and such, not to mention in some of the important facilities as well. But what would they use it for?" Josh finished.
"We don't know, but it can't be something good. Also, we managed to collect fragments from the explosives detonated in Pastoria." Lucas spoke as he reached into his satchel and grabbed a plastic bag full of metal fragments and handed it to the members for them to examine. They seemed to be made of a high quality metal as indicated by light weight and the way it broke. Metals with high hardness crack and break, instead of bending and snapping.
As it was Tyler's turn to inspect it, Autumn and Epsilon noticed some writing on one of the metal fragments. It wrote 'FI-Ti-3487' in a small font, seeming etched into the metal itself by a laser.
"Uhm, Tyler? Can we take a look at it?" Autumn asked as she tapped Tyler lightly. Epsilon hovered over and nodded.
"Yeah, sure. Be careful." He said as he unzipped the bag and emptied the contents on his palm. Epsilon eyed it closely and Autumn sniffed at it. A few moments later, Autumn's eyes grew a bit wide as realization hit her. Epsilon had a figurative lightbulb light up in its head.
"Fuego Ironworks!" Both of them exclaimed. This caught everyone of guard, including Tyler. Thankfully, he kept his balance and didn't drop the fragments.
"What about that place?" Lucas asked with genuine curiosity. It was one of the places he and Cynthia considered, but they had no immediate proof of it.
"It smells like the metal they produce, at least I think they produce. I passed by the area when I was still wild and hitched a ride in the back of one of their trucks, since it had 'Fuego Ironworks' on the side. The metal in there smells exactly like these pieces." Autumn concluded.
"So, that explains the 'FI' as Fuego Ironworks, but what about the 'Ti' and the numbers?" Lucas asked. Epsilon raised one of its arms to get everyone's attention.
"'Ti' is the scientific symbol of titanium and since titanium is mostly purchased in set amounts which are then bought in bulk, I think the numbers indicate the code of the unit. And if I'm not wrong, titanium is usually stored and sold in rolls. Maybe." Epsilon finished.
"Wow." Tyler, Samuel, Josh, Amanda and Vince spoke at the same time. Lucas laughed quite hard.
"Fantastic! Now we have a lead on where Team Galactic got their materials. Thank you, both of you." Lucas said with a grin, patting and rubbing both Autumn and Epsilon. Autumn did her signature blush and Epsilon buzzed happily. Vince suddenly raised a finger as he remembered something.
"Hold on. Can we get back to the photo for a bit? I think I know something about it." He asked. Cynthia nodded and handed him the photograph. Vince took a close look at it.
"What'cha got, Vince?" Amanda inquired. Vince turned to her with realization in his eyes.
"Remember when I told you about the impromptu meeting this afternoon?" He asked. Amanda nodded.
"Yeah, it was about someone stealing a machine from the museum. Since this was the second attempt at stealing and actually worked, it's really no surprise they called me in for a meeting." Vince said. Everyone looked shocked.
"Wait, why didn't you tell us?" Samuel asked. Vince sighed as he looked up.
"Well, I thought it didn't concern us and… a friend of mine died….I couldn't save him…" Vince exhaled heavily. A feeling of sorrow descended down on the group. "Sorry, guys." He apologized. Initially, Tyler wanted to keep quiet some more in respect for Vince's friend, but he had to take some of the guilt off him. He raised a hand.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, Vince. But there was nothing that you could do, so don't be that hard on yourself. " Tyler spoke as he patted his shoulder. Amanda stepped up and nodded.
"That's right. We're here for you, Vince." She spoke with determination. She then hugged him tightly. During their hug, Vince could see the determined faces on everyone and their Pokemon. He smiled weakly.
"Thank you, everyone." He said as Amanda broke her hug. She smiled at her best friend, assuring him that they'd have his back.
"I've been wondering, Vince. Did they specifically tell you what the stolen machine was?"
"Well, no. They only told me something was stolen and talked a lot about safety and such. I have n- Actually, I might have an idea to confirm what it is. Hold on." Vince spoke as he grabbed his phone from his pocket. Quickly, he picked a contact from his list and called them. He turned on speakerphone so everyone could listen in on the conversation.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Ross. It's me, Vince."
"Ah, hey, what's going on?"
"Sorry, but I gotta ask. What was the stolen machine from the Museum?"
"Oh, that. It was HG5."
"What's that stand for?"
"Hydrogen generator five. Anyways, what's up?" Almost everyone silently jumped a bit as he spoke.
"Nah, it's nothing. I was just wondering. Thanks, Ross."
"No problem, Vince. I gotta go, see ya."
"See ya." Vince spoke as he hung up.
"Damn, those bastards actually went back there to steal something else, not to mention kill someone. The nerves on those motherfuckers." Tyler scowled. Jewel walked up and wrapped a feeler around her enraged trainer.
"Tyler, calm down. We'll definitely get them. They will pay, especially after what they did to Vince's friend." Jewel spoke softly with determination in her voice, calming Tyler down. He sighed and picked Jewel up, hugging her closely.
"What would I do without you, huh?" Tyler said with a smile before stroking the smiling Fairy type. Lucas found this show of emotion very heartwarming, reminding him of his bond with his Pokemon.
"That about wraps it up for our meeting h- Oh wait, I almost forgot!" Lucas spoke with an 'ah!' of realization. He opened his satchel and pulled out five trainer IDs, though these were different from normal ones. Instead of the red stripe that went over the top of the card, these ones were black.
"Wait, these are-" Josh spoke before being interrupted by Cynthia. She had a small grin.
"ID Plus', yes. Consider them a gift from me and Lucas." She spoke with Lucas nodding with a smile.
"Yep. Now, you can book the premium rooms at any Pokecenter, not to mention access to Plus only healing stations, which are reserved for Plus members. They also come with a 10% universal discount in every store which use TrainerPay." Lucas explained as everyone eyed their new ID's in awe, excitement and everything in between. Tyler smiled as an idea popped into his mind.
Everyone has been working and training hard. I think it's time I give them a reward.
Tyler ended his thoughts by slipping his ID into his wallet. He turned to look at his team who were talking happily to each other and his friend's Pokemon. Ava seemed to grow close to Epsilon, as shown by her nuzzling the flustered Steel type.
"Alright, I'd love to stay and chat more, but I have some duties to attend to. Ya know, being champion isn't exactly a laidback job." Lucas joked as he walked over to Togekiss who was waiting patiently for his passengers. Cynthia and Tyler hugged before she followed Lucas back.
"See ya, Mom!" Tyler yelled as Togekiss began to gain altitude. Cynthia smiled and waved.
"You too, son!" She yelled as Togekiss zoomed away, leaving the group of trainers in the middle of the clearing. It was now nearing 5 pm as indicated by orange sky.
"Right, so what're we gonna do now?" Vince asked the group. Tyler was first to speak.
"I'm heading over to the mall. I feel like getting some new clothes since I don't have that many clean ones left." Tyler spoke, which piqued his Pokemon's interest. Samuel let out an 'ah' as he remembered something.
"Don't the plus rooms or whatever the fuck they're called have like, washing machines and shit?" Samuel asked as he twirled Helios' Pokeball in his hand. Josh nodded.
"Yeah, they do. They also have a lot more too." He added. Tyler nodded.
"Alright, that's great to know. Though, a shirt or two doesn't hurt." Tyler explained. "Anyways, what about you two?" Tyler asked Vince and Amanda simultaneously.
"I have to visit one of my colleagues in a couple of days. She's at Veilstone, so it'll be quite the drive." He explained.
"Oh neat, I'm actually planning to head over there too. Guess I'll join you." Tyler said which surprised Vince slightly before nodding with a smile. Josh snapped his fingers as a lightbulb (figuratively, of course) lit up.
"Veilstone City has an enormous new electronics store. It was built on top of the warehouse after it was decommissioned. I really want to check out what it has to offer." Josh said as he smiled.
"Eh, I'll come along with you guys. I have jack shit to do anyways." Samuel said with a shrug. Ruby and Helios overheard their conversation, causing them to wag their tails happily.
"Me too! I'll ask my pal to handle my shop for the time bein'." Amanda spoke as she opened her phone and began to make a call. A short while later, she hung up with a smile. "It's official, aw right!"
"Great! Now, if you guys don't mind, I'll be heading to the mall now." Tyler spoke as the group walked to their cars, with him walking towards his Subaru.
"Alright, Sam and I are heading to the Pokecenter. Bye, Tyler." Josh exclaimed as he entered his Porsche, letting Ruby inside first.
"I'm headin over to my shop first, you comin, Vince?" Amanda asked. Vince nodded.
"Yeah sure, see you guys later." He said as he closed the door on his Mercedes.
Roughly thirty minutes after the group went their own ways, Tyler parked his car and got out with his team following closely behind. They soon entered the mall, taking in the sights of all the various shops and stores, selling a variety of goods from food to electronics. There were a lot of people and Pokemon of various shapes and sizes walking and talking around.
"Woah! There are so many shops!" Jewel yipped excitedly.
"Wow, there's so many people too." Autumn spoke with a sparkle in her eyes.
"Incredible…" Noir muttered with fascination.
"Ooooh…!" Ava exclaimed in awe.
"This place is huge!" Epsilon buzzed. Tyler chuckled at their reactions.
"If you thought this is impressive, then your jaws will be on the ground when we reach Veilstone. It had a department store that is the size of a skyscraper." Tyler explained, smiling at the surprised expressions on his team. "Ah, there's the clothes store. I'll be right back. You all can wait for me at the café."
"Huh, can't we come with you?" Autumn asked with a head tilt. Tyler turned to her with a grin. "T-Tyler…?"
"You can, but that would ruin the surprise." He said as they were walking to the front counter at the café. Everyone looked at him curiously.
"Surprise?" They said simultaneously, before looking at each other and laughing. Tyler shook his head with a small chuckle as he asked the barista if it was ok for him to leave his Pokemon in one of the tables since he was going to return. They said it was fine. Soon, the group sat down at an empty table.
"Yeah. All of you have been great, both in battles and as companions on my journey. You've all done so much for me and I figured it was time to repay you all." He said with a smile. Jewel giggled happily as she wrapped her feelers around him in a hug. Autumn and Ava nuzzled him and Noir pulled him into a tight hug, as did Epsilon though less tight. Tyler laughed as he got up.
"Alright, I'm going now. I'll be back soon." He said as he waved them goodbye, leaving the five Pokemon in the café on their own.
"Wow, Tyler's really nice." Ava spoke with everyone nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, I agree. Back when I was still a Beldum, I had a feeling of comfort when I met him. I could practically feel his kindness." Epsilon added happily. Autumn sniffed a bit.
"I'm really grateful for him to have found me and Jewel. I can't begin to imagine what would happen if he didn't. I can't go back to the wild and I don't want to." Autumn spoke with a smile, a single tear of joy rolling down her face. Jewel hugged her friend tightly.
"Same here, Autumn! But you don't need to worry about that, we're here for him and he's here for us." She spoke softly, rubbing the Fire type. Ava sighed sadly, her own tears forming in her eyes. Epsilon took notice.
"Ava, are you alright?" He asked with concern, stroking her gently with his metallic arm. She sighed again and shook her head, her tears not letting up.
"I'm fine, I'm fine…" She said weakily. Epsilon and the others knew she wasn't alright.
"Ava, I know something's bothering you. Can you tell us? Tell me atleast?" The Metang asked, a caring tone in his voice.
"Yeah, if you have something bothering you, we'll help you out. Be sure of it." Autumn said with confidence.
"Alright… I'm also very grateful for Tyler and you all. All of you decided to help me, even though you barely knew me. You treated me like family. A family I once had…" She spoke softly, unable to hide her crying. All of a sudden, Epsilon grabbed her in a hug, surprising her a bit.
"I'm sorry for your loss. I know how it feels like to lose everything you called a 'family'. But after my time in the wild, I learned a very important lesson. The past will be the past, so now you have to look forward to the future. Who knows what the future might bring? It might bring you a chance to be in a family again." Epsilon buzzed with a hopeful tone. Ava's sniffling stopped as she smiled at her favourite Steel type.
"You're right, Epsilon. Thank you." She said as she nuzzled Epsilon, not caring about his hard exoskeleton. Epsilon looked at her happily and hugged her tight. Noir looked at them with a mischievous smile.
"It appears that you two love each other very much, when will you two progress to the next stage?" She said with a grin. Ava blushed and looked away with Epsilon turning away as well, scratching the back of his exoskeleton.
"I-I don't k-know what you're t-talking a-about." Epsilon muttered. Jewel, Autumn and Noir giggled at their reaction.
After a couple of minutes of small talk, the team heard footsteps approaching their table. Noir and Jewel turned to find Tyler carrying a few bags in his hands and a smile on his face.
"Hey everyone." He said, still smiling as he set his bags down and sitting beside Jewel.
"Hi Tyler! So, what did you get? Huh?" Jewel yipped happily. Tyler chuckled and ran a hand down her back, getting her to sigh in enjoyment. Noir hugged him suddenly, laughing as he almost fell over.
"Woah, calm down. I've got you all something special. Now, who's first?" He asked. Unsurprisingly, everyone raised their claws/paws/legs/arms at the same time. Tyler laughed again.
"Alright, how about Jewel first?" He said as everyone lowered their appendages. Jewel could barely hide her excitement as she bounced. Tyler grabbed a small pink bow, a similar shade of pink as her fur. He tied it on her other ear, beside her existing ribbon.
"There, now you're extra pretty." He said with a grin. Jewel then leapt into him and giggled happily.
"Thanks Tyler! I love it!" She yipped. Tyler laughed as she got off him, noticing the shy Ninetales waiting for her turn. He felt like playing along with her shyness.
"Now, for my very magnificent Ninetales…." He said slowly as reached into his bag. Autumn fidgeted a bit more, a blush forming on her muzzle.
"Tada!" He said as he held an amber fragment hung on a silver chain. Autumn eyed the piece of jewelry with awe as Tyler draped it over her neck.
"Now you're at least ten time more beautiful." He said proudly, getting Autumn to cover her face with a paw as she blushed hard. Noir found this amusing, though she was kind of sick of waiting.
"For you, Noir. Here you go!" He said as he pulled out a red armband with the Alolan style Dark type logo on it. Noir too it from him as she eyed it with excitement, wrapping it around her upper arm. She smirked as she put her hands on her hips, seemingly posing.
"How does it look? Fantastic, I assume?" She said with a smirk. Tyler nodded with a smile as he did find it really nice. He turned to the Ice type who was waiting with a toothy grin.
"And Ava, you'll be getting this!" He exclaimed as he procured a light blue bandana with a white snowflake pattern. Ava mouthed a 'wow' as Tyler tried to tie it around her neck. Unfortunately, he was sitting a bit too far away, so he couldn't reach her. Epsilon took notice and grabbed the bandana from Tyler, carefully tying it around her neck. Ava looked up at him and Tyler with a sweet smile.
"How do I look?" She asked.
"Pretty." Tyler said.
"Beautiful." Epsilon said with a happy tone. Tyler smiled as Epsilon draped an arm on her, causing the Ice type to blush.
"And last but definitely not least, for Epsilon!" He said as he pulled out a bottle of liquid and a microfiber cloth. It was a Steel type polish, which can make steel shiny forever with just one application. It was now time for Ava to return the favour as she took the soaked cloth and polished Epsilon diligently. After roughly five minutes, the Metang now shone brightly under the lights.
"Wow, Epsilon! You look really good!" Ava exclaimed, nuzzling the Steel type happily. Tyler and everyone else chuckled before a waiter came by to take their orders.
An hour and a half later with a full belly, Tyler and his group made their way to the Pokecenter. Initially, he was about to make a normal room reservation, but he remembered he had an ID Plus.
"Oh, uhm, can I get a premium room?" Tyler asked as he handed the nurse his card. As she read the name, she turned to him with an 'oh' of realization.
"Mr. Whiting, Champion Lucas already booked you a joint premium room with four others, with all four of them being there already. The room number is 55. You can head right in, just swipe your card on the door." She with a polite smile, returning his card. Tyler took it and nodded making his way to the elevator.
A few minutes later, Tyler and his Pokemon stepped inside and looked around awe. The 'room' wasn't really a room, more of an apartment. It coincidentally had five bedrooms for each of the members. A large living room was in middle with a large kitchen and dining table flanking it. There were three bathrooms in total.
Tyler checked the time, surprised by it showing 9 pm. Turns out they spent more time at the mall after all. Tyler and his Pokemon silently made their way to the remaining unoccupied room and soon after, he got into his casual attire for sleep. He laid down on the large bed while his Pokemon laid around him.
After waiting for him to fall asleep, three of the five Pokemon opened their eyes to check if the coast was clear. Epsilon and Ava decided to sleep on a nearby recliner, both of them cuddling each other closely. The three of them looked at their sleeping trainer with a mischievous smile on one, a toothy grin on the other and a nervous smile on the last one.
"Let's repay the favor, girls."
"Mhmm!"
"U-Uh…yeah."
Ohoho! Something nice is about to happen and I think you know what it is. :)
Anyways, that's it for now. Tune in for the next chapter, bruhmeister out!
Epsilon: YOURE STILL ON ME GODDAMMIT
