Chapter 17:
Jack woke up with sounds of chuckling, he was hell confused, but when he opened his eyes, he saw a group looking at him.
Hammond, Jacob, Ro'tak, Daniel, Teal'c and the president. Jack then looks down and sees blonde hair over his chest. "Carter, we got visitors." Sam was asleep on top of him. She stirred and woke up. She didn't understand why Jack seemed uncomfortable. When she turned her head, she saw who was there.
She jumped of the embarrassment and flung herself into a chair. Her blush was redder than a red giant. Hayes then said: "Just when I was enjoying the show." This caused chuckles. Sam then smiled sheepishly at her dad, but he had one of those smiles that said: 'I know you're happy.'.
Hayes then stepped forward. "I wish to speak with Colonel O'Neill alone please.". Everyone left and he sat in the chair Sam was sitting in. "So, Colonel." He began. "I am no longer in the military sir." Jack reminded him. Hayes nods. "That might be so, but to be honest, I think your career in the military ended too early.". Jack rolled his eyes. "I left for I had no reason to stay.". Hayes chuckles. "Really?".
Sam and her dad were in the Mess Hall as they been catching up. Jacob was surprised to hear of how Jack and Sam hopped into a relationship. "So, what does 'Mi preciosa luz de las estrellas' mean?" asked Jacob. Sam blushed again. "My precious starlight.".
Jacob then said: "He's a romantic.".
The conversation between Jack and Hayes was longer than they both expected. "If you get reinstated, you will be allowed to continue your relationship with Major Carter, call it a thank you for saving Earth's ass so many times.". Jack laughed at the comment. "Thank you sir, it means a lot to me." He said at the end. Hayes nods. "Save me a spot at the wedding." He joked. Jack saluted at Hayes walked for the door, but he turned around. "Is the symbiote… … you know." He asked.
Jack bowed his head and his eyes glowed. "I am Ares, ally to the Tau'ri.". Hayes nods. "Well, I hope the two of you recover quickly.". As he left, Sam walked past the president and saw Jack relaxing. She shut the door and hopped onto the bed next to Jack. Ares swapped with Jack as Jack laid comfortable with Sam next to him.
Sam snuggled up and whispers in his ear. "I tipped the guard twenty bucks to make sure we get a few hours to ourselves." She said naughtily. Jack snickers. "In the infirmary? With the other patients?" he asked. Sam looks around, the infirmary was empty. "What other patients?" she asked. Jack then pretended to look around. "Oh yeah, what do you know.".
They spent twenty minutes making out while Sam kept fighting the urge to rip this man's clothes off. "You have no idea how much I want you right now.". Jack smiles at her. "Doc said I need to be around for another hour, then we can take this to my personal quarters.
Sam liked that idea. But as she was about to kiss him, a knock on the door was heard. She lightly cursed and went to sat in the chair, sulking like a child. Jack then wiped the lipstick from his cheek and then said: "Enter.". It was Ro'tak.
Ro'tak entered and he knelt. "Lord O'Neill, Lord Ares, forgive my intrusion, but one of our bases got attacked by enemy Jaffa, carrying the mark of Anubis.".
