Chapter 20:

The next morning, Sam woke up to Jack wasn't lying next to her. This was confusing for her, she got up and dressed and went outside to see him, Teal'c and Ro'tak training with wooden staff weapons. She watched as Teal'c and Ro'tak attacked Jack from both sides.

Jack ducked as Teal'c came for a swing. He then leaped into the air and did a backflip as he landed on his feet to avoid Ro'tak's menacing strike. Jack got in a battle stance. Teal'c struck first. But Jack was quicker, he slammed him in the gut. Teal'c winced at the sudden pain and fell on his face.

Ro'tak dodged two blows from Jack and went to hit his opponent in the side. Jack swept his weapon underneath Ro'tak's feet, causing him to fall on his back. Ro'tak huffed and found Jack standing over him. "Not bad.". Jack helped his two opponents up and saw Sam.

He walked up to her and tossed the weapon aside. Sam was more interested in his bare upper body. Did this guy pick all those muscles during his time with the Jaffa? He looked like a gymnast! Jack smiled at her as he placed the weapon away. Her eyes never left his body, she saw him naked multiple times, but that was usually during love making, and when they aren't doing that, it's usually his back she sees.

"Why did you keep… this… from me? I mean, look at you! Any girl would go heads over heals for a guy with a body like that!". Jack chuckled. "Well, I never liked the idea of more then one woman taking interest in me, because the only woman I want, is right here, right now.".

Jack then grabbed his shirt from the rack and threw it over his head, a slight sad moan escaped from Sam which made him smirk. "Don't worry, you'll see more of… this… when this war is over. Now if you'll excuse me my dear, Ares and I have an army to prepare." He walked off with Sam glancing at his ass. "Atleast I can stare at that." She said out loud.

Jack was walking when he heard Ares laugh in the back of his head: "Did you see her face!?" the symbiote asked. Jack nods as he spoke as well. "I saw it. Priceless.".

As he was walking, he heard Sa'har running near the lake and pretending to be fighting an invisible opponent. Clearly, he was pretending to be Jack. Jack watched from afar, it was adorable to watch. He walked down and grabbed a tree branch and stood behind Sa'har.

Sa'har lifted his branch and said: "Be afraid, for I am Jack O'Neill! And you have no chance against me!" he pretended.

"Yeah?" came Jack's voice. "For I am Anubis, and I fear none.". Sa'har saw him and pretended to attack, the two played like that for a while until Sa'har poked Jack with the stick. Jack then pretended he was stabbed near the heart. "Oh, you got me! You got me!" he said dramatically and dropped.

Sa'har then ran to him and fell on Jack. Jack then gave Sa'har a noogy as the kid laughed. Sam and Jacob were hiding behind a dock as they watched the two. Jacob smiled at what he saw: "He surely loves kids.". Sam nods. "Yeah, he does.". Jacob looked at his daughter. "You thinking on having a family with him?" he asked. Sam nods at her dad. "I really want a family with him.".

Jacob nods, he wants his daughter to be happy, he wants to see his daughter with kids of her own. "One day Sam, I am sure of it.".

A few hours later, while Sam was with Daniel talking with local Jaffa of the upcoming battle, Jack walked up to Jacob, who was currently talking with Anise. Jack tapped on his shoulder and said: "Sir, can we talk?". Jacob nods. "Sure.".

As they were walking Jack got to what he wants to say. "Sir, you know how much your daughter means to me.". Jacob nods. "Yeah.". Jack continued. "What I am trying to say is sir. I wish for you blessing to allow me to marry your daughter.".

Jacob's face was neutral. Jack could feel a slight tingle rising up in his spine. But then Jacob smiled? He then hugged Jack and said: "Yes, you have my blessing! Why didn't you ask me sooner!?".
