an: hello i know ive been away for a long time but im back! i hope you guys are still here.

i looked over "abuse" and im not too pleased with the way i wrote it and i decided to rewrite it with complete editing.

Quinn's POV

She looks different, sounds different

She used to be loud, but now when she speaks it's soft.

She used to express her opinions freely, now she just keeps quiet.

We all used to joke she would be better that way, but seeing it only makes me worry.

She doesn't even smile anymore, not that she did a lot before, but nothing.

She looks sad, her eyes are always red as if she's tired, or has been crying.

I asked Brittany, the only one she's close with, what was going on and she only said that San was fine.

I noticed that Brittany was acting differently too.

Only sometimes though, she used to be the typical bubbly dumb blonde, but she doesn't say her little phrases that makes us question her intelligence anymore.

It's been happening for like two months, only now I notice it more and more and I'm becoming worried. I hope I'm making a big deal out of nothing, I mean it's high school, people change.

It's making me incredibly curious, but then again I know it's not my business, whatever is going on I'm sure it's between them.

I let the entire idea go until it was Tuesday when San came to school with sunglasses on, of course i became intrigued because it's the middle of January, why would she need them.

At first I decided to just not think about it until lunch when I went to use the restroom. I saw her in there, looking in the mirror, with the glasses off.

I saw she had a big bruise on her eye, maybe something happened during cheerios practice, or maybe someone did that to her.

When the door closed behind me, she heard and quickly turned her head towards me. She looked shocked for a second before quickly putting them back on.

At that point I couldn't help myself.

"What happened?"

"Nothing."

She sped past me with her head ducked down and walked out.

Something was definitely up, while it was none of my business, I was worried, it looked bad.

Was it an accident? Did someone hit her? And if so, who?

She definitely didn't get into a fight, it would've been all over JBI's blog or something.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Right?
