"Raven, I need to talk to you."
Raven paused. "I was waiting for that," she said quietly.
"Raven, I'm not your parent, I'm your leader, so you don't have to tell me where you've been going. But you are a Titan, and we're role models, that means we have to abide by a certain standard...I need to know what you've been doing."
"It nothing you need to know."
"Raven, I don't want to kick you out," Robin shouted. He took a deep breath and said more quietly, "Right now I have all I need to do so, I didn't have to come to you."
"Robin, Either trust me, or kick me out."
Robin sighed, Turing his eyes to avoid her gaze, "I'll tell you when I've made a decision, you're dismissed."
Raven rose silently, floating past the forms of the other Titans who stared at her, only beast boy followed. Entering her room he closed the door behind them.
"You could just tell them," he said quietly.
Raven shook her head, "no," she breathed. A tear slid down her cheek, but nothing exploded, her powers were all but dead. Beast Boy walked over and turned her to face him, slowly lifting her chin so he could look her in the eye. "I can't," she said, and then she was quiet for some time, just letting Beast Boy hold her.
"They'd understand," he said finally.
"B," she whispered looking up at him, her eyes brimming with tears, "B I'm dying, and there's nothing I can do, nothing anyone can do. I don't want them to know, I don't want that to be how I'm remembered, I don't want...I don't want the end to be like that." She began to cry, falling against his chest, clinging to him desperately.
Beast Boy gently kissed her atop the head. "It's alright," he whispered, "It's alright."
