Chapter 26:
For the next week, the Jaffa were prepared for any form of attack. The Jaffa were nervous. More guards were placed at the gate, more patrols were set up and the Orbit Guard was doubled. Jack was also placed under protection. Damn, even Ares was a little scared. But Jack's main concern is Sam, she refused to leave the tent. The base construction was almost complete, and then it would be the installation of the computers and defences.
Jack then had an idea. "Ro'tak! Get over here." He ordered. Ro'tak jogged over and met up with his eperor. Jack was now officially known as an emperor. Jack then asked: Would it hurt to take the allies to the capital?". Ro'tak then shook his head. "I don't think so.".
Jack then decided to tell Sam. He walked into the tent, Sam was on the fur rugs, reading some book written by Steven Hawking. She looks up to him with a small smile. He returned the smile and went to sit next to her. "So, I talked with Ro'tak, how do you feel about a trip to the capital?". Sam was surprised by the news. She smiled. "Will everyone be going?" she asked. Jack nods. "Of course.".
The gate activated and the allies were rather curious of the capital Jack spoke of. Daniel couldn't wait to learn of a new society. Teal'c was curious on learning how the Jaffa on the planet deal with the fact that the Goa'uld symbiotes aren't gods.
Sam only wanted to go because she was interested on how Jack rules a planet, and what it would be like on being a queen, that's if Ares doesn't get a host soon. Jack pulled out something and places it on his wrist, he spoke. "Capital, this is O'Neill.". A deep voice spoke. "This is Kas'le. You are clear to walk through the Stargate.". Jack spoke again. "Copy, I am bringing guests along.".
With that, Jack and Sam walked through first, followed by the others. The shocks from the allies, were priceless for Jack. But Sam, was grinning? Because before her, was a city, the size of the entire Colorado state. "Well, someone has been keeping busy." She teased. Jack turned his gaze to her. He smiled. "Trust me, wait until you see the whole deal.".
The escort to what looked like some kind of palace was rather big. They entered and there was a round table along with a group of what looked like councillors. They rose as their guests entered. Jack then stood at his seat. "As you were.". The councillors sat and spare chairs were brought in for the allies to be able to sit. Jack gestured to the allies. "Everyone, these are the councillors of this domain.". The councillors bowed their heads.
Jack then let Ares slip into control. "Councillors, as you know, with the threat of the Replicators also at hand, our plans to defeat Anubis will be altered. Opinion?". Ro'tak, as a member of the council spoke. "In my opinion, the system lords pose a bigger threat. I believe we must deal with them first.". Many councillors agreed.
One councillor spoke. "In my opinion, I believe the Replicators can be an exceptional asset, their leader is created in the image of Samantha Carter.". Ares then said: "Out of the question, with her resent attempt to assassinate Samantha Carter, I believe they will not be a formidable ally. All those in favour of proceeding the attack on the system lords, raise your hand." All of them raised their hands.
After the meeting, Jack took over and dismissed the council and walked through the corridors of the palace. Sam caught up with him. "Jack, wait up.". Jack smiles at her. "Hey. So, what do you think of this place?". Sam shrugged. "I think it's big.". Jack nods. "Yeah, I miss my cabin. But, after this war, I'll be taking you up there. Trust me, it's gonna be a blast.". Sam sure as hell couldn't wait.
When it was late, Sam followed Jack to his bedroom, and it was nearly the size of a regular apartment! It had everything! Well, besides a TV, they were on an alien planet after all. But the size of the bed gave her an idea. Jack was currently taking of the funky clothing he is forced to wear at every council meeting. He hated it. When he got it off, he was in nothing else but boxers.
Sam then snuck up to him and then yanked his boxers down. He jumped and turned around. "Getting impatient already?" he asked. Sam smiled seductively. "You have no idea.".
