Chapter 28:
The rings on-board Anubis's ship activated. The Kull turned around in time to see Jack there. But before they could shoot him, Jack cuts one's arm off and the other's head with his sword. A third one came running, Jack took his throwing knife and threw it and it was caught in the warrior's throat. It stumbled and fell on his back.
Jack kept walking. More Jaffa came and opened fired on him. He took one of the Kull warrior's chest plates and used it as a shield. He then took his staff weapon and fired on the enemy. The Jaffa fell on their backs. Jack kept walking. Every enemy that came near him, he shot down. He was about to enter the throne room when he stopped.
He turned around to find Narim standing there.
(So, I know some might think I am copying another , but I am not. This is different scenario.).
Jack then stood so he could stare Narim in the eye. "Working for Anubis I guess.". Narim scoffed. "Oh please. After you destroyed my home, Anubis came to me with a trade. I destroy the alliances the Tau'ri formed, in return, my people will be left alone. What I worked out for myself, is that I will have the opportunity to kill you.".
Jack chuckled. "You think Sam will run to you if I am dead?". Narim laughed. "Not if I tell her I tried to save your life. After I kill Anubis, his empire will be mine. Your empire will be mine. I will use my new army to destroy all in my way. With Sam, as my empress, and mother of my heir.". Jack's grip on his sword tightened. "I won't let you touch her.". Narim shrugged. "Well see.". Narim then pulls out a stun gun and shoots Jack with it. Jack grunts as he collapses on the floor.
He woke up to find himself chained. Two chains linked at a single shackle against the wall. Both his arms and legs. He was having a difficult time to stand. He also realized he was stripped down to his trousers and boots. When his vision was clearer, he found a black shadow like face in front of him. Ares then took over. "Anubis.". Anubis then said: "Tjusk, tjusk. It's a shame really, you being chained here, I never thought you will betray me like that.". Ares then snickered. "I am a Goa'uld, it's in our nature.". Anubis sneers. He then placed over his hand what looks like the device the Ash'rak use to assassinate their targets. Painful and torturous.
Anubis then hits Ares with a blast. Ares screams! He couldn't handle the pain. He endured the forst onslaught. When Anubis stopped, he watched as Ares refused to let Jack out in order to reduce the suffering for the host.
Anubis sat down next to the Tau'ri in pain. "We could've ruled this galaxy together you know. As father and son.". Ares spits lightly. "I am no false god! I am a true leader. I care for my people!". Anubis then stood up. "You're a shol'va! Traitor to your kind! You brought shame over me when you turned! You bring shame to us all!".
Ares chuckles. "What shame is there, when you are proud of your actions. I let the host influence me, in order to understand what it's like to have a heart! How to be a real leader! Unlike you! Go ahead, torture me! You will gain nothing!".
Anubis then held the device to Ares's forehead. "So be it.". With another onslaught.
