Chapter 29:

Sam was fighting on the surface with many of the Jaffa. Ro'tak and Teal'c were instructed to protect her. The fight was a little outmatched sense the Kull are protected against normal artillery. But right before her, she gets beamed and ends up in a hallway.

She heard footsteps, she turned around and saw it was Narim running to her. "Samantha, I am glad your safe. It's Anubis, he killed Jack.". Sam then felt within her heart how it was quickly shattering. 'No!' she begged in her mind. She broke down, tears spilling, she fell into Narim's arms as she cried. "No, it can't be, it can't be!".

Narim then said: "I need you help Samantha. Anubis believes that I swore my allegiance to him, we can use that to our advantage. I plan on killing him. We can use his sarcophagus to revive O'Neill.". Sam nods as she stood strong, it's what Jack would've wanted.

Boy was that good for nothing Tollan son of a half hearted mongrel lying to her.

Ares was withstanding every attack Anubis had. The device was affecting him pretty badly, but he can hold out. If he dies, so does Jack. Anubis withdraw the device as he watched Ares crumbled to the floor. Anubis crouched down. "Your strength is admirable. But you can't withstand the device for long.". Anubis then summoned the Jaffa. "Jaffa, take him to the and prepare for hyperspace.". The Jaffa then dragged the unconscious colonel to a cell.

Narim and Sam were sneaking through the corridors. He had to plan his route well. "This way." He pointed out. But he then saw two Jaffa dragging Jack. "No, Jaffa are coming, this way." He said as he pointed the opposite direction. Sam didn't understand why he was so scared of a group of Jaffa.

So she checked it out. They were dragging JACK! But that meant he was alive! Narim lied to her! Or that was her first thought. Narim then pulled on her arm. "Samantha, come one.". She then pulled out of his grip. "You lied to me!".

Narim sighed. "Sam, I didn't mean to. I am sorry.". She didn't buy it. "You do actually work for Anubis.". Narim then said: "Samantha I did this for you. After Anubis is dead, I can command his army, and destroy the rest of the Goa'uld. I did it so that we can have a chance." He tried to soft soap her. Sam only shook her head. "There is no 'we', no 'us', no 'chance for us', I am in love with Jack O'Neill. And you can't change that.".

Narim's expression changed, his eyes were more of a darker presence. "He isn't even completely human! His spine is made out of a machine!". Sam then shook her head. "Maybe, but he is ten times the man you'll EVER be!". Narim sneered and set his gun on stun. And shot her. "We'll see.".

Sam woke up in a cell, but to her relief, Jack was with her, in a different cell but she could reach out to him. "Jack." She called out his name. Jack only sat there. Sam didn't like his silence. "Jack, are you okay?". All Jack said was: "He's dead. Anubis killed him.". Sam then crawled closer to the bars. "Who did he kill?".

Jack looks lightly to her. "Ares, he's gone, I can feel it. He's dead. And I couldn't save him!". He sat there, Ares might've been a Goa'uld, but he was part of Jack, how can he just move on? Sam then held her hand out. "Jack, I am sorry.".

Jack looks at her, and except the hand through the bars. "Narim is a traitor.". Sam quirked her eyebrow. "No shit. He stunned me after I refused his proposal.". Jack felt his jaw clench. "Bastard!".

But meanwhile, in a place, far, far away, opened a door to a strange café. A man identical to Jack walked in and sat at a open table. A waitress came walking up to him. "So, what can I get you?". The man identical to Jack was confused. "Where am I?".
