The next morning Clarke woke up to the sound of their TV being on. Knowing what today was going to bring she decided to get out of bed. When Clarke walked out of her bedroom she noticed that it seemed a little too quiet. When she reached the living room only her mother was sitting on the couch.
"Please tell me he didn't go see Jaha by himself.", Clarke asked her mother.
"He did, I told him to wait for you. But you know how stubborn your father is.", Abby said to her daughter.
"Well hopefully he doesn't get himself floated before we get there. Why would you let him go by himself? You know what happened last time he tried to warn Jaha.", Clarke said to her mother as they headed to Jaha's office.
"I tried my very best, Clarke. Even knowing that the outcome could be his death, he still decided to do this himself.", Abby said to Clarke.
"At least this time you didn't throw him under the bus.", Clarke said to her mother, then realizing she hurt her. "Sorry, that was uncalled for.", Clarke said just before they reached Jaha's office.
"I deserved that, but just know it wasn't an easy choice for me.", Abby said to Clarke.
"Unfortunately what I've been through these last few years, I finally understand. I may have not liked what you did. But I now know why you did it.", Clarke said to her mother.
"How are we going to stop your father from getting himself floated?", Abby asked her daughter.
"Just try and keep up.", Clarke said as she knocked on the Chancellor's office door.
"Clarke, Abby, come in. Jake here was just about to tell me something important.", Jaha said as Clarke opened the door slightly.
"Dad, tread lightly.", Clarke said to her father.
"I know Clarke. So I came here today to inform you that our oxygen is being depleted.", Jake said to Jaha.
"So how do we fix this? It's your job you should have a solution for this problem.", Jaha said to Jake.
"That's the problem, there is no fixing this. We weren't meant to be up here this long Thelonious.", Jake said to Jaha.
"So we have to come up with a solution then. By us some time to figure out how we can fix the oxygen tanks.", Jaha said to them.
"There is no fixing them, Thelonious. But Clarke might have a solution that could help us all.", Jake said to Jaha. "Just remember no matter what Clarke suggest we do, we're survivors.", Jake said to Jaha to hopefully help him regain his memories.
"We're back to square one aren't we?", Thelonious asked the three of them once he received his memories.
"Yes and no. We are meant to do better than we did last time. We've been given a second chance with the knowledge of the future and past. We just have to not fuck it up again.", Clarke said to Jaha.
"Starting with getting to Earth?", Thelonious asked Clarke.
"Yes, but this time we do it differently. No sending the hundred down there to screw around. We do this right.", Clarke said to everyone in the room.
"So how do we do this differently than last time?", Abby asked her daughter.
"We send a team down, once I talk to Lexa and get her memories back the rest of us can come down. Then we go from there, we are given a second chance to do life the right way. We can't fuck this up, we have to be able to do better for our people.", Clarke said to them.
"So who's the team we're going to be sending down?", Thelonious asked Clarke.
"I'm sure you could guess. We need Kane, Raven, Octavia, Bellamy, Murphy, Finn, Wells, Monty, Jasper, Harper and Nate in here. We have to get their memories back. Once that is taken care of then the three of us plus them will go to Earth. We might also want Sinclair and Jackson in here as well. They won't be going to Earth but we need people here with their memories to help us out.", Clarke said to them.
"Are you sure this is the right thing to do? Shouldn't we play things out the way they were the first time?", Thelonious asked Clarke.
"Not yet, once we have Lexa on our side then yes we'll have to let some things play out. I was told some things were meant to happen that they were set in stone. But we could change the outcome of how things were done. I'm assuming that means we can change things as well. Like how we handled going to Earth the first time.", Clarke said to the adults.
"Alright I'll get everyone to come here.", Thelonious said to Clarke as he went to leave his office.
"Clarke, are you sure this is the right approach?", Abby asked her daughter.
"Yes, I'm assuming what has to happen are the major things. Like Mount Weather, but not in the same way it did the first time. Then there's the city of light, again has to happen but can happen differently. Some people's deaths are a must as well. But I'm not sure in what time frame. I just know that some people have to die like they did the first time around. I know what needs to happen for history but how they happen is completely up to us and our actions." , Clarke said to her mother.
"So major events are a must, but minor ones can be adjusted?", Jake asked his daughter.
"I'm assuming so. I'm new to this just like you are. I'm sure we'll know when something is supposed to happen.", Clarke said to her father.
"Right.", Jake said to his daughter with a confused look on his face.
"I know I'm just as confused as you are. But we'll just have to do things differently. We have to learn from our mistakes.", Clarke said to her father. "First step is getting everyone's memories back.", Clarke said to her parents.
"You sure it's a good idea for Bellamy and Murphy to have their memories?", Abby asked her daughter.
"Yes, they caused the most problems when we first landed. Giving them their memories back will fix that.", Clarke said to her mother. "Learning from our mistakes. I should have ever let them do what they did back then.", Clarke said to her mother.
"Clarke, is Lexa's death something that needs to happen?", Abby asked her mother.
"In a way yes, but she doesn't psychically need to die. I have a plan for that already, but again we have to do one step at a time.", Clarke said to Abby.
"Do you know who is supposed to die?", Jake asked his daughter.
"No, but I'm hoping I know in the moment or right before.", Clarke says to her parents before Thelonious comes in with the people Clarke asked him to get.
"I know you are wondering why you're here. But I can't tell you just yet, Clarke here might have some insight.", Thelonious said to the group of people.
"Right so the oxygen tanks are shutting down, there's no fixing it. We weren't meant to be up here this long.", Clarke says.
"What does that have to do with us?", Raven asked getting impatient.
"Everyone in this room is important. I'm going to need all of your help in order to save everyone on this ship. The ground is liveable, don't ask how I know that just trust me.", Clarke said to the group.
"Why should we trust you Princess? You have no idea if the ground is livable. What are you going to send a group down to investigate? Let me guess we're that group?", Finn asked Clarke.
"You have every right to question me. But we are survivors, we'll be fine I promise.", Clarke said as one by one they all got their memories back.
"What the fuck just happened?", Octavia asked.
"Well in a sense time travel.", Clarke said to her friend with a smirk on her face.
"Wait seriously?", Octavia asked Clarke.
"Yes, we were sent back to redo what we did wrong. Instead of transcending we can finally live in peace. I guess this is sort of a test.", Clarke said to everyone.
"So wait, you're saying that we have to relive everything that we did a second time?", Bellamy asked Clarke.
"In a way yes, but we can change the outcome of everything. I was told that certain major events are set in stone. But the way we carry them out can be changed.", Clarke said to everyone.
"Major events? Like Mount Weather, Lexa's death, City of Light, and the world ending twice type of events?", Harper asked Clarke.
"Yes, exactly those events. But we can change the outcome. Not everyone in Mount Weather has to die. Lexa doesn't need to physically die, the city of light has to be destroyed but differently. I have a few ideas on how to redo those events. As far as the world ending twice I haven't gotten that far. Maybe with the help of Lexa and the grounders we'll be able to figure that out.", Clarke said to everyone.
"Do certain people have to die?", Finn asked Clarke.
"Yes, though not sure in the same way as before. Or when really, I just know that it has to happen.", Clarke said to everyone.
"What about me getting shot?", Raven asked Clarke.
"I'm assuming so since that made you who you are. Though it won't be Murphy who shoots you.", Clarke said to Raven.
"I have to become Bloodreina.", Octavia said more so in a statement than a question.
"I don't think you need to go as extreme as before. But yes a form of Bloodreina needs to happen.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"Which means Lincoln has to die. His death is the reason I became Bloodreina.", Octavia said to Clarke.
"I don't think he needs to die. I think even with him alive you have it in you to become the leader we're all going to need. Look, we can't get into that right now. The first thing we have to do is get down to the ground and get Lexa's memories back. Then we'll focus on the rest. Everything else will fall into place when it's supposed to.", Clarke said to everyone.
"So we just have to be prepared for some events to happen as before? At least with people dying?", Sinclair asked Clarke.
"Yes, we'll have to be on high alert. I wish I was given more, so that we know what exactly we're getting into. But unfortunately I wasn't given the knowledge of everything.", Clarke said to everyone.
"Well we'll follow you like we always have. So what's the game plan Wanheda?", Murphy said to Clarke.
"I hate that name, thanks John.", Clarke said as Murphy just smirked at her.
"It's better the Princess.", Finn said to Clarke. "Did you get that nickname after you killed me?", Finn asked Clarke.
"Yes, after we defeated Mount Weather actually. That's why I hate the name.", Clarke said to them.
"Right anyway, how are we going to communicate with each other once we're on the ground?", Jasper asked.
"Well that's where Raven and Monty come into play. Could you two make the same communication system we had the first time? Just better?", Clarke asked the two of them.
"If Jaha can get us the supplies we need, yes.", Raven said as Monty nodded his head to agree.
"I can get you two whatever you need.", Thelonious said to them.
"Good, Jackson, you and mom pack as much as we need for basic medical needs. Sinclair and Dad, help Monty and Raven. Kane I need you, Harper, Bellamy, Jasper, and Nate to collect as much ammo and guns as Jaha will allow us to have. Octavia, you're going to help me make a plan to get to Lexa.", Clarke said as she gave everyone their orders.
"Kane, take as much as you need. If anyone questions you have them come straight to me.", Thelonious said to Kane.
"Thank you, Thelonious.", Kane said as he and the other four left the room.
"Right, we can use my office to make the communication system.", Jake said to the kids and Sinclair.
"Let's get started then. Try to keep up, old men.", Raven said as she and Monty started to leave the room.
"Did she just call us old?", Jake asked as he and Sinclair followed the teenagers out of the room.
"Jaha, you might be of help to Octavia and I.", Clarke said as her mother and Jackson left the room as well.
"Whatever you need, Clarke.", Thelonious said to Clarke.
"We need to get to Lexa without being noticed. I have an idea on how to do that. But I know you and Octavia know the grounds of Polis a little better than I do.", Clarke said to him and Octavia.
"If we find Lincoln first he'll be able to help us. Or even Anya, she was willing to help us the first time. Maybe she'll be willing this time around as well.", Octavia said to Clarke.
"Right, though she'll be with Lexa most likely. We might have to find Lincoln first.", Clarke said to Octavia.
"Are we going to use the drop ship to get to the ground?", Octavia asked Clarke.
"That's the only option we have. Though I haven't figured out how the rest of us are getting down here.", Clarke said to them.
"Maybe the tech geniuses can come up with something.", Octavia said to Clarke.
"Could they make a cockpit? Instead of us launching the dropship from the ark, they can control it. Then someone can come back up here and grab groups of people?", Thelonious said to the girls.
"We'll have to run it by them. We don't have much time either, it's only a few days until we were originally on the ground.", Clarke said to Thelonious and Octavia.
"I mean there's more than just Raven and Monty now. I'm sure they can come up with something in time for us to get to the ground.", Octavia to Clarke.
