Chapter 35:

Jack raced to the bridge, Teal' stood at attention. "O'Neill, we have arrived.". Jack then said: "Launch the attack, stick to the plan, remember, these Ba'al clones are a nasty group. It's possible that they are the only participants in the system lord council, besides Yu and uhh… … what's the other one's name?" he asked. Ro'tak then said: "Moloc, his name is Moloc.". Jack nods. "Great thanks.".

The attack was launched, and so far, it went as planned. As teams 2 and 3 handled the guards, teams 1, 4 and 5 escorted Sam, Daniel, Teal'c and Jack to the meeting chambers. The door got kicked open and they were met with staff weapons. Jack cursed at himself.

Ba'al laughed at them. "Fool! Just because you killed one clone, doesn't mean that we are all dead! I knew of your plan all along! The other shall I say, group of myself are very resourceful. Jaffa! Take the prisoners to the airlock.".

As they were escorted, Sam looked over to Jack. "Please tell me you have a plan B." she whispered. Jack then said: "Well… … I got nothing.". Sam sighed. "Out of all our fuck ups, now is the time you don't have a plan!" she hissed through a whisper. Jack then said: "My spy has it covered, trust me… he's on our side.".

As they were taken to the airlock, Ba'al's Jaffa aimed at them. Sam then made sure to hold onto Jack. "I love you.". Jack then kissed her forehead. "I love you too.". Ares then interrupted them. "WOW! I am right here!". Sam chuckled at the symbiote. "I love you too Ares.". Daniel then said: "That's just gross!".

But the end never came! When they looked at the enemy, they were all shot down by Yu's men. Yu then walked up to the, and said: "I am the spy.". There was silence. But Ares spoke up. "About time! You had me worried there for a second.". Yu then ordered his Jaffa to dispose of the bodies.

As that was done, Sam walked up to Jack. "Yu's the spy? How?". Ares then said: "What? He hates Ba'al's guts, and he is willing to adapt his ways, I mean hey! He trusted his empire over to his First Prime!". Sam then said: "Valid points.".

As Yu's Jaffa returned to their positions, Yu walked back into the meeting. Where the Ba'al(s) were, along with Moloc. Yu retook his seat as if nothing happened. Which made one of the Ba'al(s) suspect. "Where are the prisoners?" he asked. Yu then said: "I disposed of them.". The one Ba'al got to his feet. "You lie!". Yu then rose to his feet. "You dare call me a liar!? I have the strongest military force here! You and your clones are no match in a battle against me!".

"He's correct, I would listen if I were you." Ares said while holding a shotgun. He shot one of the Ba'al(s) with it, sending him back. The guy dropped dead. Before Moloc could react, Yu let a knife slid out of his sleeve as he held it against his throat. "Don't move.". Moloc raised his hands. Only to get his throat slit by Yu. Ares looked over at the sight. "The idea was to remove the symbiote.". Yu then said: "He murdered all female in his domain, he deserves worse then death.". Ares then said: "Good point. Now, what to do with the clones?".

The clones were all bundled up. And shot dead. Ares then turned to the Jaffa that were loyal to Ba'al. "Jaffa! Your gods are no more! Does this prove that the Goa'uld are not gods?!". The Jaffa were scared, they didn't know what to do. But Ro'tak and Teal'c walked up to them. Ro'tak spoke: "Brothers, we are free. Yu and Ares are Goa'uld, but not gods, we seek freedom for our people! Do you wish to be free!?". The Jaffa spoke amongst themselves. Until an older on stepped forward and spoke: "I served for Moloc for nearly 90 years. I saw how he murdered my wife and daughters! I shall be a slave no more! I wish to be free!".

Other Jaffa nodded amongst themselves some even smiled. Teal'c then spoke up. "Our time has come! The system lords are no more! We can live free! I saw with my own eyes! The Tau'ri freed us! Let us built a new civilization! Where we can be free!". The Jaffa punched the air and cheered. Ares smiled as Yu turned to him. "As an ally, I wish to keep my territory.". Ares then said: "Agreed. With our military strengths, we can defend this galaxy from any threat.".

Yu held his hand out. "To a new era.". Ares shook it firmly. "To a new era.".
