The delegates sat down, Jack was the last to sat down. Ro'tak managed to bargain a small security team to oversee the negotiations. None of the Jaffa wants their leader to be placed in danger, especially by a so-called ally.

Garshaw was the first to speak: "Are most sacred of laws forbids the spawning of half breeds, there for by law, you must be destroyed!". Jacob then stood up. "Those laws were made by the Goa'uld, Ares is not your typical Goa'uld. And with him in control of the entire Goa'uld empire, it is he who can change the law.".

Daniel then rose from his seat. "Garshaw, with all due respect, because of the fact that Jack and Ares control the Goa'uld empire, don't you think that they have the right to change the laws? And why do you follow the Goa'uld laws if you aren't even Goa'uld?". Both Garshaw and Yosuf remained silent, only Jacob spoke: "Because she doesn't, not until now it is.".

Garshaw then said: "With the resources of Ares's domain, we can rebuilt the Tok'ra, make them the powerful race we visualized for thousands of years.". Jack then said: "That's it? You're power hungry? You want to take control over my territory, just for your selfish reasons?".

Jacob smiled, they had her pinned. Selmak agreed with Jacob: "It appears that high councillor Garshaw just committed treason.". Yosuf then interfered: "Please, Garshaw only wanted what's best for the Tok'ra, I didn't agree with her, please, spare her.".

The entire negotiation party turned to Jack. "It's up to you Jack." Jacob informed. Jack swallowed hard. "Why do I have to make these hard decisions?". Ares then remarked: "Get used to it.". Jack thought on it, he did actually. "Garshaw, you only held your interests at hand". Garshaw had a split moment of panic, but Jack spoke. "But you wanted to ensure the survival of your people. Therefor, I have come to a decision.".

It was a minute before Jack spoke again: "I will change the treaty, I will divide the empire in three, one third will be my territory, the second third will be Yu's, the third will be Tok'ra territory. Any objections? I shall work on the treaty right away.".

Jack left for his office, and he worked on the treaty.

2.The will power to govern my territory.

3.The agreement for peace.

4.The exception of advancing our territory.

5.The will to defend the territory in act of war.

6.To swear in as leader and protector over the territory.

Jack was the first to stamp his seal in molten gold. Yu was next. Garshaw did it after a second of reconsidering it. Because of her selfish acts, the Tok'ra are limited to advancement for the first decade of their new home. Which they agreed to.

Jack was glad he managed to prevent a war, without causing one.
