Hey everyone! C here, from the Diamond Mi…oh wait, sorry. That one belongs to Dan, haha. I need to work on that. But anyway, how's everyone been doing? Had a good week or anything? For me, I say things have been eventful and it was great. My family and I have been hanging out together, I got to see some more friends from church, and…this is the month of my Birthday. Yeah! So I might make another chapter to that eventually and everything else this month has been good so far.
As for you guys, I hope you had a good month so far too, and that you're okay with reading the next chapter to one of your favorite stories. "A New Kind of Story." But this time, after three years, you'll get to see something interesting. After so long…you'll finally get a time-skip. Right now, Blu, Jewel, and their friends are living in 2009, just one year before the events of the first film took place in.
But before we begin, there's something I want to ask. Remember what I said about me only sending questions regarding my stories? Well, how about this:
"How would one of you feel if I decided to make an MLP parody about the Young Six going on an adventure based on an iconic story? Specifically one about a cheese-loving inventor and his intuitive dog going to the moon!"
I just might make the first chapter to that next week. I hope you guys will like that. Also…
Did anybody see anything new lately? Like maybe a trailer regarding a new Pixar movie about a man suddenly reaching a new life? Yep. After Onward, comes SOUL, which looks interesting like every feature Pixar made. And I'm looking forward to see how far Pixar and Blue Sky will go. So now…

CHAPTER FORTY: NEW TIME, SAME LIFE
As the sun rose over, like every morning, the city of Rio became lit up, by both the light and every individual that wanted to get up and enjoy the new day brought to them. Whether those individuals were humans…or animals, everyone came out of their homes and spent their morning the way they always would. Including one bird, named Blu. He was sleeping cozy in his fort-nest, and as the sun did appear, he could feel the warm weather, and it convinced him to wake up.
He moaned and opened his eyes, seeing the first thing he always loved seeing every morning, his sleeping beauty. Jewel, who had her wings around him as she was having a joyful slumber. She appeared to be very happy as her Blu was. He smiled over the fact that he got to see her every morning…and that he was able to do that for the past thirteen years.
Since 1996, Blu and Jewel have been through a number of adventures, and went through them together as a cute pair of lovebirds. They loved each other so much, stayed in their nest together for so long, and went through said adventures with the many friends they gained. A few birds and a dog that liked partying everyday, more birds that loved parties too but were also parents, and a group of humans that cared about animals since the beginning. Seeing her made Blu think about them too. So he sat up, without trying to wake up Jewel, and scooted over to one side of the nest to grab something.
It was a small notebook, small enough to be like a human sized book for his wings and as he opened it, he read through what was in it. It was his journal, a book that allowed him to record everything he's experienced everyday, and seeing it made Blu smile before putting one of his talon claws into a small jar of ink. Then he wrote into it. His next journal entry.
Dear Journal,
Today is, I think, July 5, 2009 and it looks like it's going to be a good one. Yep. 2009! It has been over a decade since I made it on my own in the jungle and found my friends. Jewel, my amazing and most favorite girl. Rafael, Nico, Pedro, and Luiz, my samba-loving brothers. Mikka and Leo, my adoptive and loving parents, and my sister Angel. Eva, Carlos, and Sophia, my toucan family that have taken care of Jewel and the rest our friends too! Finally, there is also our human friends: Tulio Monteiro, Linda Gunderson, Andrea Shy, and her husband John Cord (the three who both once lived in New York and Minnesota but later moved to Rio to work with Tulio). The four birds doctors that have been friends with me and Jewel for so long.
In the beginning, February of 1995, I was separated from my parents because they and many other birds were captured by poachers. I was lucky enough to avoid getting captured myself, but I was away from parents…and I hadn't seen them ever since. (Heck, even today I can't remember their faces). But what I have been doing since then is staying in the tree I fell out from when the attack happened. I was able to learn how to speak and defend myself by staying there and making my nest into a small fortress. And it was cool since I had a good portion of the jungle all to myself and I also got to travel around Rio de Janeiro before I eventually met the first friends of my life; Nico, Pedro, Eva, and Jewel!
The five of us were great together. I helped Nico and Pedro set up their first samba-club party, and then at night, I got to meet Jewel and Eva, and when I met Jewel, the first thing we did was say hi and dance. From there I think we both knew that we had a spark in each other. While I was still living alone, Jewel was given a home to Eva and her parents' place, and I was happy for her. But we've only been friends until one year later. There, I got my wing crushed and Jewel helped me before we met our first human friends. Linda, Tulio, and his dad, who were the nicest ever. They helped us, and Eva got to meet Rafael, who knew how to make the whole group lighten up more than I ever could. And me and Jewel fell in love with one another. There, we went on many adventures since then.
For example: There came Mikka, Leo, and Luiz. The two were scarlet macaws that were the oldest (below Carlos and Sophia) and seemed to love each other like me and Jewel did. They were great friends and Luiz was a new good friend that Rafael rescued. He was a bulldog, a poor fella that needed a family and thankfully we provided that. Just like we did for the scarlet couple, and they did for me when they said, this one day, that they wanted to adopt me. That was something hard to say yes to because I never stopped waiting for my parents to come back, but Mikka and Leo gave me the comfort I could ask for. Same for Jewel. Then, before and after our next adventures, Mikka and Leo eventually had a baby daughter, Angel, my own sister.
She became the best addition so far to this big family. When she came into the world, there was a part of me that felt a little jealous because I knew she would take up Mikka and Leo's time. But I never gave into that feeling, and she appeared to love me very much, and that's never stopped. From there, came many more adventures with her, Jewel, and our entire family. We…
…Hosted many samba clubs since the beginning.
…Played many games together in the jungle and city everyday.
…Got to celebrate every big holiday that came up when it did.
…Got to see many good movies and shows that were available in either the theatre or the garage's TV.
…Got to teach Angel how to fly, and in her earlier years, even though it was pretty difficult to accept, we were finally able to convince Leo to let go of his vow and fly again. Mikka was especially proud of that, even though he wingtips never grew back after all these years.
…Always took the chance to help ourselves, and other birds and animals, out with a problem.
…Always treated each other like family. The real kind of family. Not like criminal gang family, haha!
All these adventures and more. We did them together since 1995, and they were great, even during the years when we all became older and went on some new things. But that's not all. Our most recent (unusual) adventure started two years ago, when we included a new member into our group. He seemed on edge at first, mostly because he had recently hit rock bottom, but after helping him out a little, he became better. A member of our family. His name…is Nigel.
In 2007, during one dark and stormy night, at the edge of the city, the rain was pouring around like crazy and there was hardly any person that didn't notice it. Including one bird that was alone in the alley. It was a cockatoo named Nigel. He was sitting where he was in the alley, inside a half-broken trash can trying to avoid the rain. He had his back laid against the fence behind him, but it didn't feel comforting and the storm just made everything too loud for everything to sleep in.
So he just sat where he was, trying to endure with it. Until he sighed, "This is no life for a star. Not that I am one anymore. Though regardless, I wish things could have ended differently." He pouted and felt like things were going to be worse before they got better.
Suddenly, he heard laughter and sliding, and peeked over at the corner to see two birds making that sound. They were laughing together and hid under a roof-cover near a wall of the small house Nigel was next to. He questioned what they were doing and just decided to eavesdrop. Listening very closely to the two birds that were Blu and Jewel.
The two were together by the wall, not ceasing their moment of laughter.
Jewel said, "Aw man! I-I can't remember the last time we had to fly through a rainstorm like this."
Blu replied with a big smile, "Me neither. Though, despite all these years, are you sure you would consider it flying if all I go is twenty feet?"
"Well I say it's pretty good."
"Maybe to you, but obviously I have a lot to work up to still."
"Hmm. Well, whether you're still able to fly or not, I wouldn't mind traveling in the rain. As long as it's with you, sweetie."
Blu blushed, but was able to smirk back at her. "Same. Come here."
They hugged each other tight, and despite the cold water all over their feathers, they had each other's love and warmth. So they continued hugging before giving each other their best kiss again. To which it surprised Nigel, enough to make me him keep his eyes away and just listen. After the two kissed, they just stared into each other's eyes again.
"You…you're so amazing." Blu said dreamily.
Jewel replied in the same tone, "So are you, handsome." Then she looked up at the night sky. As the rain was pouring, the sky was completely black, and the water was visible because of the glowing streetlight. It was orange and the whole scene it gleamed onto the empty street. So she said, "Hey Blu? Remember those times when we would talk about how the sky looks like a painting?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, look at the sky, and the street that the light is revealing. The bright and dark detail to me gives me a fun vibe. And I kinda like it. Makes me think about paintings more."
"Really? Well, when we get home, I think maybe we can find a way to do that."
"You think we can?"
"For you, definitely."
"Thanks." She hugged his wing. "Only question is, do you think we'll be able to get home in this weather?"
"Uh yeah, I don't think so. We were lucky to have end up here when we did. If we try going back home in the middle of this, then I'm afraid we'll be stuck in bed for a lot longer than we want to. Given the possibilities of getting colds."
"Okay. Let's at least try to get comfy here."
Blu agreed with her, and as they stood up and looked around, they found a basket with some clean blankets by the fence and saw a tarp above 'em. As they approached it, Nigel saw them coming over to him, so he tried to move over to be unseen. But failed as he moved his talons hard and it caused the trash can to be moved. It was rolling across the floor like a barrel, and Blu and Jewel were able to notice.
"WHOA-OA-OA!" Nigel screamed before he hit the other end of the fence. "Ow."
"Whoa." Blu said. "Hey are you okay?"
"Ugh! Y-Yes." Nigel came out of the can and revealed himself. "I'm fine. Don't mind me, I just want to be alone right now." Then he walked out and the can rolled again before stopping and landing upside-down. To which it annoyed Nigel since he had nothing to cover himself from the rain. He humphed again and just went to another part of the wall where Blu and Jewel were. They showed a concerning look, and Nigel tried ignoring them.
He sighed, "Like I said, don't mind me. I just want to be alone right now."
Jewel didn't agree to his statement, so she tried again to walk to the box of stuff, and grabbed a small blanket before handing it to Nigel, who became confused with the gesture. "What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm giving this to you." Jewel replied.
"You're offering me a blanket? Why would you do that?"
"Because I thought it would be good to give it to you. You look like you need help."
"Uh…well…" He didn't know what to say, since no one ever offered him anything in a long time. So he slowly took it and replied, "…thank you."
"You're welcome." Jewel smiled and walked back to Blu after getting a blanket for him and herself.
From there, there was an awkward silence in the air. The pair of blue birds and the cockatoo tried not to face each other. But Nigel did stare at the blanket. It was clean from the rain, it was cozy, and it was the first thing that any individual gave him. He never expected that sort of thing to happen to him again. Then suddenly, one of the birds spoke up again.
"Uh, excuse me, sir. But in case you were wondering, my name is Blu."
"I'm Jewel."
Nigel felt a little annoyed, but didn't think lashing out was the best idea. So he gently replied, "Hello. My name is Nigel."
"Hello." Blu said. Then began to realize something. "Wait a minute. Nigel? You mean like the actor from the movie 'Fly Hard'?"
Hearing that suddenly made Nigel feel more awake. "Well…I used to be."
"Wow. I don't believe it. Sir, I loved that movie and boy, I never thought I'd actually get to meet the actor himself." Blu got up and shook Nigel's wing, which he didn't mind at all considering the compliment.
"Really?" Nigel said in a flattering tone.
Jewel, "Actually yeah. My friends and I sometimes watch that movie at our hang out places. Never stopped being cool, to be honest."
"Well, thank you. I…I never thought anybody would ever bring that up to me again."
"What do you mean?" Blu asked.
"You didn't hear? Well…less than six months ago, while I was still enjoy my good life as a movie star, thinking I was having everything I wanted, my managers and everyone believed it was a good idea to replace me. They got a pretty parrot to fill my shoes and everything went downhill for me. So believe it or not, I've been trying to endure with it ever since. Only thing is I don't know how much it'll be until I do lose it."
"Oh. I-I'm sorry."
"Thank you. But it's not your problem. And uh, thanks again for the blanket. Nobody's shown me this sort of kindness in a while."
Jewel, "You're welcome. It's no problem at all, really." Then an idea came to her mind. "Hey. Nigel, you say that you've been out on your own for a while now, right?"
"Yes. Not to be rude, but I'm pretty sure I just said that."
"Well, tomorrow the two of us are heading to our Samba Club with our friends to create some new updates on the structure. So if you want to, maybe you can join us. You can come and see the club for yourself. You can join the next party coming up and be considered a guest."
Nigel was surprised to hear that invite. Blu didn't seem to have an issue with it, and it made the cockatoo become more and more curious about them. No one has shown him that much consideration since forever. So he replied, "I don't know. Hm. Thank you for the invite but I can't say if I'll take you up on that yet."
"It's okay."
Blu, "Just keep in mind, you might have a lot of fun. Plus, make a bunch of new friends. My girlfriend and I have a little experience with helping folks out like that."
Nigel, "Well then thanks. I'll at least…(yawning)…keep it under consideration until tomorrow."
"Okay then. See ya."
Blu and Jewel walked up to another part of the wall, and slept under their shared blanket, and Nigel did the same with his own, while still thinking about what those two were doing. Showing kindness to a complete stranger.
After that, the three of us stayed where we were, we got some sleep until the rain stopped and it was morning. By then, Nigel considered coming with me and Jewel to the club. And thankfully he was never bothered by my cruddy flying. I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of a former star. Speaking of which, the 'Fly Hard' series was one of my most favorite action movies, and Nigel was always the main animal in it. His acting was very cool and believable, and seeing him in person was awesome. Though…it also made me wonder why there were no more Fly Hard movies in awhile. But, for whatever trouble he went since after getting booted, I felt like my girlfriend and I were going to giving the first portion of his new life. Because…
After flying through over a quarter of the city, the three made it to where the Samba Club was. When Nigel saw it, he felt like he was expecting more. It just looked like a large blue blanket somewhere in a parking lot. But when Blu and Jewel led him inside, it looked more impressive. He saw colorful spotlights, crates and boxes (some of them being filled lots of fresh food), and some awesome carnival decorations too.
"Wow." Nigel mumbled.
Blu, "Pretty cool, huh?"
"I should say so. You two hang out here all the time?"
Jewel, "Well, not all the time. Other times we just like to hang out at our garage or anywhere else in the city or jungle. In fact, just hanging out here isn't what makes it fun. It's hanging out with them that makes it fun." She pointed to the birds at the other corner that were working together on structure movement.
Nigel saw a yellow canary, red cardinal, two toucans, a bull dog, and three scarlet macaws.
Blu, "These are our friends. Hey guys." He called out everyone and got their attention. When one of the scarlets, Mikka, turned around, she smiled seeing her favorite blue birds.
"Hey guys." She said and gave them a hug. "Are you alright?"
Leo spoke, "Mikka and I became a little weird, we didn't see you last night."
Jewel, "Yeah, sorry. It was pouring last night so we couldn't fly back home without getting sick."
Blu, "Oh, and by the way, we actually met a new friend last night." He introduced Nigel to everyone. "Everyone, say hello to Nigel."
"Hi." Nigel nervously said to them.
Eva asked, "Wait, Nigel? As in the actor from the Fly Hard movie series?"
"The very same, ma'am."
"Wow!"
Rafael, "Well, sir. Pleased to meet you." He shook his wing.
"Thank you, and likewise."
Blu, "Nigel, this Rafael, Eva, Nico, Pedro, Luiz, and my parents and sister, Mikka, Leo, and Angel."
"Well, it's…nice to meet you all."
Leo, "You too, sir. My kids actually here loves your film series, and now here we are actually meeting the actor. So are you here on like some kind of a celebrity tour in Rio?"
"Uh…no. What I'm doing is not exactly worth mentioning, but at the moment, Blu and Jewel have invited me over here. Something about there being a party later?"
Mikka, "Oh absolutely. We plan on having one tonight, but now we're all working trying to expand the place to make sure there's more room for everyone."
"Hmm."
Jewel, "So Nigel, while we get to work on that, you can relax and help yourself to the food around here."
"Really? Thank you."
"No problem."
Then Nigel went over to one of the crates and dug into all the yummy fruits around. Nigel hadn't eaten a decent meal in quite a long time, so he had trouble trying to control himself, but Blu and Jewel most of all didn't mind. He seemed pretty beaten down so it would have made sense for him to be like that. Then the two and their friends went to work as Nigel continued eating.
"Mm." He said to himself and said in his mind, "I never thought I would ever come across this stuff again. So delicious, mm." Then, after wiping his beak from the fruit juice, he turned to see the others. "Hm. Those two. They're very strange…yet they helped me. For six long months, I've spent so much time alone because my stupid managers threw me out. I had it all. A TV show, fans, girls, friends, food, things, and was a South American idol. I've had to endure the terrible time for a while after having all of that taken away from me. Thinking that I was about to finally lose it until these birds came along. They hardly know me and yet they were able to include me. They didn't even ask me to do any work for them or asked for anything in return. They're…nice. They're being so nice and don't have a problem with me at all." Nigel was in deep thought and knew that everything he told himself was accurate. If Blu and Jewel hadn't come to him sooner then he would've had to endure with rock bottom before finally changing for the worst somehow.
So, he gave a firm look and stood up saying, "Hey guys? Guys!" He called them before they turned. "Do…Do you mind if I help you out?"
Blu, "Help us? No, no thank you, you don't need to do that."
Mikka, "Yeah, we're okay. You're guest right now, you can take it easy." She and Nico tried pushing in some crates.
Nigel, "I know. But I actually want to help out. You see, last night Blu and Jewel have been able to help me out through the rainstorm. No one's really done anything like that for me in a while, and during my life as a celebrity, I've always had people do things for me. So I want to repay the favor."
Jewel, "Oh no, Nigel. You don't need to do that, really. We helped you out because that's basically what we do. We like helping folks."
"I know. But I want to. Please? At least give me a chance."
Now the whole gang was surprised, because not many animals always offer to help them out either. So by how the club looked, they thought maybe it would help to have an extra wing.
Blu, "Well, okay. Come on, amigo."
From there, Nigel's new life began. After helping him out a little with all the struggle he went through, he decided to help us too. And with the eleven of us working together, the whole club became bigger and much more awesome. It got even better when all the birds came and the party really started. Before that though, after updating everything, Nigel took the time to get to know us better. We explained our story to him, which I could tell sounded weird and a little annoying to him, but it was also fun. In fact, during the party, he was the first to sing in front of everyone, and they loved it. Especially with the song…"I Will Survive."
So the entire day turned out to be great for us and Nigel, and at night, we were able to give him a good place to sleep in at the club. But that was not all. The next day, he took an interest in helping my friends run the club, and from then on, he became a part of our group and things for me and the rest of my friends have been fantastic since.
So today, I'm glad to say that I feel good enough to enjoy another day with all my friends. All of us together, while we may be living in a different time, but are still living in the good ol' life that I am most grateful for.
(Back to the Present) Blu finished writing in his journal and breathed in the nice fresh morning air. Then felt something rest on his shoulder, which turned out to be…
"Oh Jewel. Good morning." Blu said.
Jewel dreamily replied, "Good morning, handsome." Then kissed his cheek.
"Uh, I'm sorry were listening to me speak as I wrote?"
"Uh huh. You may try to whisper as quietly as you can, but no matter what, I can always tell when you're thinking out loud."
"Sorry."
"Don't be. But I think you can apologize by including one more thing into your journal later."
"And what's that?"
"'While we may be living in a different time, I should always know that when it comes to my family and friends, nothing will ever be the same.'"
"Hm." Blu smiled. "I think that sounds better."
"Thanks. Now, how about we spend the morning by flying around and getting breakfast?"
"Sure."
As the two did get up, they were expecting to have another good quiet morning, but when they opened to the door to their nest…all they received was a…
"SURPRISE!" Yelling from all their friends outside the nest. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BLU AND JEWEL!" They stood out looking happy and had some confetti thrown around before Mikka gave them a batch of fruit and brazil nuts.
"Happy Birthday, guys." She cheerfully said.
The two were surprised but then remembered it was the anniversary of when they each tried setting up each other's first birthday party. And so they went along with it.
"Wow." Blu said.
Jewel, "Aw, thanks you guys."
Then the eleven animals partied together, being able to eat and chat, making Blu still remember all the fun and great times he had for years in Rio. All his friends, his family, and the many adventures that would never stop coming.
It even made him remember how happy his original parents would be to know that he was still waiting for them and that he made so many new friends along the way. Blu always looked at his nest and tree, and even though his parents hadn't come back all these times, he never stopped waiting. Plus, his friends were also another good excuse for him to stay. Including the friends that weren't currently in Rio, but still remembered the good times made there.
(For example…) Somewhere far away, up in the north, all the way to New York City, there was a big neighborhood at one quarter of the place and at the edge of it was one apartment building. Inside it was a married couple in bed, still sleeping after a long normal day. One of them was a man named Garrett, and as he slept by his wife Rebecca's side, he was trapped deep into his own mindscape, having one dream that was unlike any other. He dreamt about himself having a big battle.
The area was massive. Dark. Looking like a wasteland of destruction. Garrett was laying on the ground, wearing a damaged battle suit and looked rather weak. He had dust and soot on his face, his legs were down and arms and waist was hurt, and he saw something in the distance. He tried standing up, but suddenly, a boot got on him and pushed him back down. He looked up and saw a man standing on him. He had blue skin, electricity in his veins, and looked like he had bronze armor on. He also looked pretty mad before reaching his hand down and carrying Garrett up by the neck.
Garrett struggled to get free but it was no use. He held tight to the hand that was choking him, and heard the man speak.
"You know something, Garrett? It's times like these where you begin to wonder how different things could have been. If you had left well enough alone right from the start. But now it's too late. And know this…regardless of all my years of destruction, invasion, dictatorship…and death…none of it was ever personal. But what I'm going to do to your universe and every universe alive, I'm going to love it." Then the psycho threw Garrett across the field.
Garrett still appeared hurt, and couldn't stand, but keeping in mind what his enemy just said, created a spark. Garrett felt something snap inside him, and as he looked over, he saw the most terrifying site ever. His foe pointed his shield up and every ship, soldier, robot, and monster from his entire armada came out. Each of them looked fierce and hungry, and from the entire invasion…the horrific site of all…made it look like it was over. Garrett took a good long look at it, and when he looked like he was ready to give up, he replaced his face of fear with a face of determination. He slowly stood up, and grabbed a damaged sword from the ground, taking a good grip into it and walked through field. He marched through the grounds, ready to face the army. Because he knew it was far from over, as long as he could still draw a breath, Garrett would not give up.
Then, out of nowhere, his comm set turned on. "G-Man? G, can you hear me?" A voice came through Garrett's ears, and he knew that voice very well. "Garrett, it's Danny, do you copy?" He didn't know what response to make until, "Behind ya, pal." He turned and saw a portal open. A blue ring with a blinding light show, and out of it, came three familiar friends.
A human and two large horses. Scott, one of Garrett's oldest friends and best rebel fighter, and the two horses, the royal siblings of their own kingdom, ready to fight. Garrett saw them standing right by him, and seeing them standing, alive and well, made him smile. Then, out from the portal came Danny, Garrett's best friend, flying through the air with his power of sorcery. Then came more portals, and from each one came many warriors, fighters, heroes, and friends and families all kinds.
A flock of colorful birds from the amazon. A large band of young superheroes. Kids with pocket, digital, and card monsters. Voxel-based fighters. An armada of horses and teenage humans with magic powers. Young vikings with dragons. Animal freedom and kung fu fighters. So many different heroes. Each of them made Garrett smile, seeing all of them come together and ready to fight the enemy. As he saw them too, he was surprised but didn't let any sign of fear come upon his face.
Out from one of the other portals came more familiar heroes. Including a witch, Louise, with her wand and her husband, Saito, with his sword.
"You think that's everyone?" Louise asked.
Saito reacted, "Uh…everyone in the multiverse joining?" Then he rolled his eyes before everyone turned to see a building coming apart with a robot bird of humongous size coming out and held more heroes in his wings. Seeing them, and seeing every hero Garrett ever knew come together, made him smile and move to the front as his friends joined.
The two armies faced each other, standing and ready for the biggest fight to come, and it made Garrett finally say to the enemy, "Hey Eterno! All this time, you wanted my power?! Well, here it is!" Then everyone behind him cheered to the max before they started running! "CHARGE!" They all yelled and marched to attack Eterno's army. Eterno raised his shield again, telling his army to advance too, and everyone came in on the fight.
Two enormous armadas coming together, and as they collided, it became a fight for the ages before…"Huh?"
Garrett's eyes opened and he became surprised to see that he was alright, seeing that it was all a dream. But it felt very real to him, wondering what in the world that was all about, especially since that wasn't the first time he had a strange flash like that. However, as he questioned more, he felt a hand moving and saw that it was his wife. Rebecca was still sleeping but she looked like she was about to cry, because of her current condition, she wanted Garrett by her side. So he smiled and slowly reached back to her. It calmed her and they went back to sleep, expecting things to be the same.
Though while it did seem that way for them, things would never be the same for their old feathery friends in Rio.
As of right now, Nigel is one of the good guys. You might remember me writing a summary to that more or less than 14 chapters ago, and with this turn, it's created a new effect on Blu's life. So because Blu and Jewel found Nigel before the smugglers did, he's now a better bird. Which means goodbye "mortal enemy" as Nigel would call himself. Now, he's a friend.
I know ShadowcrestTheDarkDragon liked that idea, hopefully you do too. But…
For anybody who's not fond of the idea of Nigel being Blu's friend and says something bad about it, then may I just say…that is seriously harsh.
Now, onto the next subject. Finally, remember that question I brought up last time? Regarding the "power to travel to dimensions of your making"? Well, for my Farewell post, I'm going to create a new version of myself that has that kind of power. He has the ability to travel to universes that he made up in his mind, and I'm going to use that story for my post. BTW, while thinking about this plot, I had the GENESIS WAVE idea from the Sonic Archie series on my mind as well. Consider that as one of my inspirations for this short story, which'll be a glimpse into my reboot series of "C's Adventures."
With that being said, I'm ready to end right here and wish each of you a good Thanksgiving when it comes up! And being ready next week to enjoy a simple "Grand Day Out…with the Young Six."
See ya later!
