If you knew how you were going to die, would you change anything?
as explosions are heard all around me, i can only think...what could i have done better? if i did something different, would things have turned out better?
it doesn't matter anyways...this is the end, im only glad almost everyone got away...almost

my alarm goes off shortly before i wake up. I slowly sit up and shut it off, stretching as i get up "it is finally my 10th birthday!" ithought asi quickly get dressed and head downstairs"goodmorning mom!" i say cheerfully.she turns to me"goodmorning sweetie! happy birthday!" she says with a smile before placing down a plate of bacon pancakes and eggs.
"thank you!"i say cheerfully before starting to eat. as i ate my mom prepared any last minute items for me.
after i get done eating i put the dishs in the sink before putting on my backpack and running shoes"bye mom! i love you, and i promise to vist later!" i say as i open the door. "I love you too! stay safe and good luck!" she replies as i close the door and start running to pof oaks lab.
as i arrive i quickly run inside before frowning at oaks slightly sad look"im sorry shemi, but all of the starters have been taken... however i can give you some pokeballs, your friends could weaken a Pokemon for you... here" he hands me a Pokedex and three PokeBalls."thank you, and I understand" i walk outside seeing two family figures. Scarlett and ray, we've known each other since we were kids. i walk over to them"hey ray! hey Scarlett! did you get a starter?" they both nod"yep! we waited so we could start together" Scarlett replys.
ray smiled"we will help you catch a Pokemon, come on let's get going!" he says ethusiasticly. i smile"yeah! let's go!"i confidently run through the tall grass despite the yells of protest from my friends.
as i ran i suddenly heard a metallic click before a bunch of gas was shot into my face. everything hurt as i looked around.
after a few minutes i opened my eyes "why is everything so big?" i thought to myself as i tried to stand up. i stumbled foward "why can't i-" i suddenly heard a voice"shemi?! where are you?!" i saw Scarlett walk through a bush. something inside me screamed that i needed to run, a primal feeling of fear. my instincts took control and i ran, as fast as i could not knowing where i was going but I didn't care.
after a few minutes of running i hit something and slowly pass out, too exhausted to find out what it was and hoping this was all just a bad dream
