Team Hot Air Part 2
Chapter 18 Reunion
Well, time to begin Part 2! As I said at the beginning, I will skip from Galuna Island to the end of Edolas, but this chapter will also summarize what happened in this AU in between. Again if anyone wants to write this out for themselves just PM me and I will give the name of that fic in my authors notes.
Natsu, Wendy, and all the rest of Fairy Tail had their hands full during the next few months. Not long after they got back from Galuna Island, they came back to find their guildhall was damaged by Phantom Lord, another guild with a grudge against their own. A guild war ensued between the two factions after three of their members were found injured. Laxus and Makarov lead the assault on Phantom Lord's headquarters, only to have their magic disabled. Lucy was also targeted, as it turned out Phantom Lord had been hired by her rich neglectful father to bring her back.
But thanks to Wendy who was there in Magnolia healing the members that were injured, she was there to protect Lucy and they managed to force the captors to retreat. Phantom Lord then resorted to using their moving building to attack Fairy Tail, but Natsu and the others managed to defeat it. Wendy was also a big help with her healing magic during this conflict. When Laxus and Makarov recovered, Fairy Tail quickly emerged victorious when Laxus came to their aid and took down both Phantom's Master Jose and Gajeel Redfox, the dragon slayer of that guild. Around this time, Wendy's birthday also occurred.
After the guild war, Makarov retired as Guild Master and let Laxus become Fairy Tail's fourth Master. They then found that one of their own members, Loke, was actually a Celestial Spirit forced to stay in the human world. Lucy helped him regain his place in the Celestial World. The members of Team Hot Air then went on a vacation in which Erza was kidnapped by Jellal Fernandes, who Natsu and Wendy were surprised to see bore a striking resemblance to Mystogan, who had brought them to the guild in the first place. But they defeated Jellal and returned home to the Fantasia Parade where Laxus put up a special tournament known as the Battle of Fairy Tail to see who were the strongest members. It was all in good fun though, with no one getting seriously injured.
Next, Team Hot Air entered a joint guild mission with the wizards of Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus to stop the Oracion Seis, a dark guild that was composed of only six wizards, but all of which were incredibly powerful. The Seis, after considerable struggle, managed to kidnap Wendy and Happy and force the former to revive Jellal by threatening Happy. But Jellal had lost his memory and helped them defeat the Seis, unfortunately, the Magic Council still insisted on arresting him.
Finally, Fairy Tail was sucked through an anima into another world called Edolas, which was the home of exceeds like Happy and Carla. Natsu, Wendy, and Lucy mounted a rescue to this parallel world which had a copy of almost everyone in their own. They met other versions of themselves, a Natsu that liked vehicles, a tall and well-endowed Wendy, a Lucy with a sadistic streak, and a still alive copy of Lisanna (or so they thought).
Now they had just gotten back from the parallel world of Edolas after defeating Edolas's ruler, King Faust and Mystogan (who was actually the Jellal from that world) closed all the animas and took over the throne. Natsu and Wendy thanked Mystogan for bringing them to Fairy Tail and they said their goodbyes before all the magic in Earthland was sent back. They flew through the anima and found themselves in the woods outside Magnolia. Eventually, Pantherlily, a black exceed who had decided to partner with Gajeel like Happy and Carla were partnered with Natsu and Wendy, appeared dragging a white haired girl in a blue tank top and white skirt behind him.
Natsu's eyes widened as he saw her. Wendy and all the others looked at her in awe, with the exception of Lucy and Gajeel who had never met this girl themselves.
"Lisanna!" Natsu exclaimed.
"It can't be!" Wendy said, dumbfounded.
"But Lisanna is dead!" Carla said.
"Maybe she's the one from Edolas?" Happy suggested.
Lisanna looked around at them, her eyes focused on Natsu, she stood frozen in shock for a second. Then tears well up in her eyes.
"Natsu!" she ran forward.
Her actions caught Natsu completely by surprise and he was tackled to the ground in a hug. He looked up into her face and saw her crying tears of joy as she smiled at him.
"I thought I'd never you again!" she said before looking at the others. "Happy! Wendy, Carla!"
All the other members looked at her in bewilderment.
"Wait… are you, our Lisanna?" Wendy asked.
Lisanna nodded. Wendy's mouth fell open, then she formed a grin and also began to cry joy filled tears along with Happy and even Carla.
"You're back!" Wendy made to run for her old friend.
"Hold on!" Erza seized Wendy to prevent her from getting close. "You are supposed to be dead! You died two years ago on a mission with Mira and Elfman!"
"I didn't actually die that day!" Lisanna explained. "I must have been sucked into an anima and brought into Edolas!"
"Oh Lisanna, I'm so glad you're alive! I missed you so much!" Natsu said as he now returned the hug with his own tears.
"Me too!" Wendy pulled herself free from Erza's protective grasp and went to hug her old friend along with Happy. Carla slowly joined in as well.

Mirajane stood in front of her sister's grave while her brother held an umbrella over them to keep the rain off.
"We should go," Elfman said.
"Just a little longer," Mirajane said as she cried a bit.
"Hey Mira! Big brother Elf!" a familiar voice called.
The two older Strauss Siblings looked behind them and were in shock to see the youngest whom they'd thought lost for so long running towards them. Lisanna stopped for a moment to catch her breath as Elfman dropped the umbrella.
"Is this real?" Mirajane asked as she felt a fresh batch of tears come up.
Elfman began to cry as well, unable to contain himself as the sister he thought he'd killed came at them. Lisanna ran the rest of the way towards them, hugging her sister.
"I'm back sis," Lisanna said.
Elfman put his huge muscular arms around them, it took a moment for Mira to get over the shock and smile.
"Welcome home," she said to her sister.

It was a happy day for Fairy Tail when they returned to the guildhall the next day. Everyone was shocked to see Lisanna enter the building with Natsu, his team, Gajeel, Pantherlily, and her siblings. The various members of Fairy Tail looked at her with mouths wide open.
"Lisanna?" Macao asked.
"You've been alive all this time?" Wakaba said.
She nodded, then received a surprise as all the members began running toward her.
"Lisanna!" they all screamed for joy, glad that one of their own whom they'd thought dead for two years was actually alive.
Before they could reach her though, Elfman transformed his arm and knocked them all back.
"Keep your grimy paws off her!"
"Chill man, I think they're just happy to see her!" Natsu said.
"We all are!" Wendy agreed.
"Lisanna," Makarov said as he approached them.
"Master," Lisanna said looking down at the tiny old man.
He grinned. "Not anymore my dear, I'm retired now. Laxus is Fairy Tail's new guild master."
At the mention of his name, Laxus appeared in a flash of lightning.
"Well well, looks like we got a ghost in the house!" Laxus said. "Okay who's brilliant idea of a prank was this?"
He grabbed onto Lisanna's cheek and pulled it.
"Ouch! Why are you doing that?"
Laxus looked at her in surprise. "You're real!" he exclaimed then patted her head. "Well that sucks. So what's death like?"
"I wasn't dead! How rude!" she snapped. "Pull on my face again and I'll claw your eyes out!"
He chuckled. "Careful, you don't want to injure Fairy Tail's new master do you?"
"Listen up lad, just because I felt you could be Master doesn't mean you can pester the other members as you please!" Makarov shouted at his grandson.
"You're one to talk you old perv!" Laxus said recalling some of Makarov's antics. "You'd have all the females wear nurse outfits or swimsuits if you could. Well, guess there's only one thing you'd do at a time like this! Alright, everyone prepare to throw a welcome back party for Lisanna! Also… I'll need a full report from whoever found her as to what went on."
"Leave that to me," Erza said.
"Leave that to me, what?" Laxus asked.
"Leave that to me, Master Laxus," Erza corrected herself.
"Good, now lets party!"
All of Fairy Tail cheered and a party ensued.

Natsu went all in on the brawl that happened. Lisanna spent most of the party catching up with various members and informing them of Edolas. They were particularly amused by the fact that the Natsu there was a big crybaby.
"So if you didn't use magic there, how did you survive instead?" Laxus asked.
"Well we all had magic weapons or items, most of them were actually pretty similar to the magic we use. I had a sword while I was there that could turn the people I hit into mice," Lisanna said.
"Yeah, and Wendy was really big in that world!" Happy said. "She came to rescue me and Carla when we were surrounded!"
"You all should have seen Happy," Carla said. "He actually did a lot of fighting himself this time. I wouldn't be here without him."
"That so? Good for you Happy!" Gildarts said.
Happy blushed at the compliment then looked at Natsu who was still fighting in the brawl and causing a lot of damage to the guildhall. "You mind knocking out that rampaging dragon slayer? I know he's excited about Lisanna being back but at this rate he's gonna demolish the guildhall."
"Maybe later," Gildarts said.
"Guess that's what you call tough love?" Lucy asked.
"Screw that Gildarts why don't you fight me now?" Natsu screamed as he charged at Gildarts only to be knocked out.
Laxus chuckled. "You know you probably should have become guildmaster instead."
"Ehh that's okay. You're here more. Besides I've always been a wanderer, staying in one place for too long just ain't my style." Gildarts said.
Gajeel suddenly threw a set of tables up into the air. "I got a challenge for you and your sister Salamander! I bet you my Lily can beat the ever loving crap out of your puny cats!"
"Oh yeah?" Natsu asked.
The two older male dragon slayers began to argue over whose cat would win while Wendy on the other hand was more worried about Carla getting injured. Hours passed as Fairy Tail partied, many of them not bothering to go home and simply sleep wherever they were. She began to feel sleepy, so she walked over to Natsu who was yawning himself. The sky dragon slayer hugged the fire one. Seeing her, Natsu smiled and returned the hug as they both sank to the floor near where Mirajane already slept, her arms wrapped around her returned younger sister.
"I'm so happy she's back," Wendy said to her brother.
"Me too. You know I made a promise to her back when we were kids that if she ever disappeared I'd come looking for her and bring her home. Guess I kept that, even though I didn't even know it."
"Now maybe you can ask her to become your girlfriend," Wendy teased.
Natsu blushed. "Well, I think I will ask her to come with me on a job tomorrow. You don't mind do you?"
She shook her head sleepily. "I think… I will probably be going on a job alone tomorrow. Its about that time… isn't it?" she said through her yawns.
Natsu smiled at her. "Yeah, the S-class trials."
"You think Laxus will choose me?" she asked.
"After you took that S-class quest? No way he isn't gonna!" Natsu said. "If he doesn't, I'll give him a serious butt kicking!"
He stroked her hair as she went to sleep. They hadn't done this in a long time. It reminded Natsu of when they were young and she'd occasionally come into his room after having nightmares of being abandoned by Grandeena. Someday, they would both find their parents just like they found Lisanna.
Well here's the beginning of Part Two. I'll be doing a Lisanna Returns arc which I feel should have been in the series. She and Natsu will go on a job together and something will happen, then Lucy will get jealous and… oh hush me! I'm not gonna spoil too much. What do you guys think of Laxus being master? Any suggestions for what he could do with this new authority? And will the S-class Candidate Choices be affected? I could definitely see Levi as someone not getting in on Laxus's watch.
