Chapter 30: Lucy and Levy vs. Mest and Lisanna
Lucy and Levy arrived on the beach of the island where the smoke was. They climbed onto the shore, got their shoes from out of their bags and ran up to the doors. Only two doors remained, Wendy, Elfman, Gray, Cana, Freed, Mest and all their partners had all gotten their before them. The only ones lagging behind were Juvia and Gajeel who were approaching now.
"Better pick a route quick Lulu!" Levy said.
Lucy nodded then selected one of the two paths remaining. "I hope this is the serenity route!"
They dashed in. But soon they came to a larger cavern where a magic barrier blocked their way with a sign above it reading…
Combat.
"Uh oh!" Lucy said.
"Well… I didn't we'd actually have to fight Lucy," a familiar voice said.
Lucy froze at the sound of that voice. She turned and saw her… Lisanna was there along with Mest. Lisanna had put a shirt over her bikini and Mest a full set of clothes while the two girls on the opposite team were still clad in their swimsuits.
Lisanna gave a small smile at her and Levy.
"I prefer not to use violence usually but looks like fate has decided our love rivalry is going to have to be that way."
Levy wore a nervous expression. "I don't want to fight either but I'm Lucy's partner and best friend! I'm gonna have to support her!"
"Well… I will give it my all to become an S-class wizard!" Mest said.
Lucy sighed. "Guess there's no choice! We're gonna have to fight then Lisanna!"
She drew her keys as Mest frowned.
"Excuse me but I'm your opponent here! You and I are both S-class candidates so we should fight each other!"
"Sorry Mest, but Lisanna is my target right now!" Lucy said. "How about we make a bet? Whoever wins becomes Natsu's girlfriend officially?"
"That will be up to him to decide!" Lisanna objected. "But I'll settle for getting the next date!"
"Fine by me!" Lucy agreed. "Let's do this!"
They looked into other's eyes fiercely, blue into brown. Mest sighed as he turned to Levy.
"Guess I'm taking you then little lady!"
Lucy and Lisanna began to chant their incantations.
"Open gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!"
"Takeover: Cat Soul!"
Lucy's cow spirit appeared with his giant axe, at the same time Lisanna transformed into her takeover. Her shirt vanished and her bluish purple bikini changed to one with a tiger striped blue and black pattern, cats paws with sharp claws on her hands and feet, a bell around her neck and cat ears coming out of her head.
"Moo!" Taurus said as he brandished his axe and looked around, seeing three girls in swimsuits, he instantly got distracted and hearts appeared in his eyes. "Ah what a moooving sight! Two girls with wonderful and visible bodies are here before me!"
"Excuse me… there's three girls here!" Levy said.
"Mmm… you don't quite a nice figure as Miss Lucy and this here cat girl!" Taurus said.
Levy felt as though she were hit by a train as she brought her hands to her chest which was pretty flat. Along with Wendy she was easily the most lacking girl of Fairy Tail in that regard. It was one of those things that hurt her self-esteem. Even if her looks in hair and clothing as well as brains could wow men, she wouldn't mind a little more in that area.
"Pervert!" Lisanna screamed then lunged at the cow in a fury.
Her claws swiped at Taurus at a lightning fast speed. The cow spirit tried to swing his axe but Lisanna was quick, she dodged the blow and ran around him before he could turn, swiping more.
"Ow! Ow! Moo! That hurts!"
And Lisanna kicked him between his legs. He let out an extremely pained groan and dropped his axe.
"I'm so mooned!" he said as he vanished.
"Nice going Lisanna!" Levy said.
"Hey you're supposed to be on my side!" Lucy screamed. "But I can't blame you after what that pervy cow said about you. Whoa!"
Claws swiped at Lucy who screamed and stepped back.
"Meow! Don't let your guard down!" Lisanna said as she began to chase her rival.
Lucy began to run for her life… or at least her skin condition.
"Please don't scar me with those things!" she said as she dodged the claws and drew another key.
Levy and Mest had both hung back until now as the two love rivals began their match. Then Mest started, he appeared in front of Levy in an instant. Her eyes widened in surprise. Mest hadn't seemed to take even a single step! What kind of magic was that? Teleportation? Speed magic? Levy didn't have to even full raise her guard as Mest kicked at her. The solid script mage was knocked off her feet.
At the same Lucy called a new spirit.
"Open gate of the Maiden: Virgo!"
The pink haired maid appeared in a flash with wrist irons and only wearing a bikini like her mistress.
"Virgo here, clad in bikini for your viewing (or reading) pleasure!"
Lisanna had now caught up to Lucy and they were now wrestling. Lucy did her best to keep Lisanna from using her claws, but Lisanna also had sharp teeth as well. She drew Lucy in and bit her arm.
"Ow!" Lucy screamed. "Help Virgo! Levy!"
Virgo walked up behind Lisanna and grabbed the tail attached to her bikini bottom. She pulled on it.
"Ow!" Lisanna now yelled as the tail had become attached to her and hurt like it would when any animal had theirs pulled.
"Bad kitten! Get off my princess!" Virgo said as she began to fight Lisanna in hand to hand combat.
The maid grabbed hold of the cat girl and they both spun as Virgo's ability to drill holes kicked in. A hole appeared and Virgo quickly came back out of it.
"The kitty is in a very deep litter box Princess!" she said to Lucy.
"Good, now let's deal with Mest!" Lucy said.
"At once Princess!" Virgo then ran to help Levy deal with other mage.
Lucy was right behind, but then she heard a whoosh from behind, and wings flap.
No! Lucy thought. She looked back as Lisanna flew out of the hole Virgo had trapped her in, her arms had turned into wings and her feet bird talons. She was in her Bird Takeover. Lisanna took Lucy by the shoulders and flew up with her before dropping her toward the cavern floor. Lucy screamed as she was sure the fall would hurt quite a bit if not knock her out.
"Princess!"
Virgo caught her, Lucy let out a breath of relief. Levy was struggling against Mest's palm strikes.
"Solid Script: Armor!" Levy managed to chant out a defensive spell.
She was surrounded in a white magical barrier that formed a gray word Armor above her with a protected her from Mest's next attack. He shook his hand as it felt as though he hit something metal.
"Solid script: Fire!"
The flaming orange word Fire flew at Mest and he caught on fire. He screamed, then dropped and rolled.
Levy wasn't done. "Solid Script: Thunderbolt!" Her attack zapped him, and he was knocked unconscious.
Virgo meanwhile, could only inform Lucy her use was no longer available.
"Sorry Princess, but I can't trap someone that can fly in a hole!" she said as she vanished.
"Guess its Saggitarius then!" Lucy said. "Open: Gate of the Archer!"
The man in the horse costume appeared with his bow. He drew it and aimed upward.
"Uh-oh!" Lisanna said.
The arrows flew at her, filling her wings. She fell to the floor and was done. The magic barrier in front faded. Lucy and Levy had won!
"We did it!" Lucy said.
"Yay!" Levy cheered.
They continued forward. As they left, a figure came down the path. Makarov walked up to them and healed their wounds a bit and revived them.
"Well… if you'll just follow me I'll take you two to the camp!" he said. "The other S-class wizards will be there as well."
Lisanna nodded with a smile.
"Well Lucy you may have this round, but I get to spend more time with Natsu first anyways!" she said looking up the path.
Well… Lucy and Levy won the battle but Lisanna's gonna gets to be near Natsu first! I must say I've impressed myself writing two chapters of this in one week. I just felt inspired I guess. Well, try and do another chapter of my Star Wars fic now.
