Chapter 32 Juvia and Gajeel vs. Erza
The two former members of Phantom Lord came on Tenrou Island where the source of the smoke was, only to find that all the other doors were taken.
"Ah man we're dead last!" Gajeel shouted. "Guess it was cause of me. I need to find some way to move quickly in water."
"Well what can we do?" Juvia said. "Take this route that remains. I only hope Gray is not there, cause if he is will have no choice but to surrender!"
"You're really unbelievable sometimes you know that?" Gajeel asked. "I think Gray would honestly be ashamed if you did that!"
"You think so? Then I shall not hold back against him! If he wishes for me to show him the strength of my love I will give it my all!"
"That's more like it!" Gajeel said.
The continued down the tunnel until they came to a place filled with many rows of stone blocks over a water channel. There in the center of the path stood…
"Well well well if it isn't Titania!" Gajeel said. "This should be fun!"
Erza looked at them. "Gajeel, Juvia. I was wondering when my opponent would arrive. Don't think I'm gonna go easy on you Juvia. In fact I will likely go extra hard with Gajeel for what he did to Levy and her team!"
"Sounds like fun!" Gajeel grinned. "You might just be a real challenge!"
"I'm going to give it my all!" Juvia said.
"Very well then. Come at me!" the scarlet haired knight roared as she requiped her sword and charged at them with a shout.

"Iron Dragon Sword!" Gajeel roared and leapt to meet Erza's charge.
The weapon sprouted from his arm and clashed with Erza's. The blades hit each other, causing sparks to fly as they did so. Juvia jumped along the many surfaces over the water until she was behind Erza.
With Gajeel distracting her I can take her by surprise!" Juvia thought.
"Water nebulua!" she shouted.
A wave of water flew at Erza who didn't even look back, she jumped high. The water intended for her hit Gajeel instead and he fell into the stream below.
Erza glared at Juvia. "Using your partner as a distraction is the most obvious strategy in a two on one match Juvia!"
She requipped again, now in a revealing set of armor that had color and seaweed like designs.
"Sea Empress Armor huh? Making it harder for Juvia's water to hurt ya are ya?" Gajeel asked as he pulled himself onto one of the surfaces. "Well lets see if it can withstand this! Iron Dragon Hammer!"
A large hammer formed from his fist this time. Gajeel leapt at her. Erza also leapt, but back. She avoided the Iron Dragon Slayers attack which smashed the surface she'd been on.
She's faster than before! Gajeel noticed. That armor's not as heavy as her regular set. Dammit. My hammer can smash armor but its so slow!
Erza swung the sword that went with her Sea Empress Armor, sending her own wave at Gajeel and pushing him back.
"Man I'm gonna get rusty with all this water," Gajeel said.
Erza requiped another weapon in her left hand. Her Lightning Empress Spear! That would be extra effective for fighting against a water based opponent like Juvia.
"Look out!" Gajeel shouted at his partner.
Erza sent a bolt of lightning at the water mage! Juvia managed to dodge it by leaping to another rock. She sent a water tendril at Erza who didn't move, as though she expected the attack to do nothing. But it did do something! The tendril cut Erza's shoulder where she wasn't wearing armor.
"You may have a suit of armor that is effective for defending against water, but it leaves much of your body exposed!" Juvia said.
Erza smiled. "Well, many men are distracted by its appearance so that was a thing I took into consideration when I had it made."
"Don't think I'm one of those perverts!" Gajeel said as he leapt again. "I'm gonna eat every one of your armors if I have to!"
Erza glared at him. "No one threatens my armors!" She directed her spear at him, zapping him with electricity as he screamed. He fell into the water, fried.
"Gajeel!" Juvia screamed.
Only for the scarlet haired knight to turn her weapon on her as well. Lightning arced from the spear and hit the water mage. Juvia screamed as well, lightning was one of the few things that could actually harm her water body. She collapsed on a surface just feet away from Gajeel.
"You wanna go again?" Erza asked.
"No… we surrender," they said together.

That was most of the battles done, the only ones left were Elfman and Evergreen who stopped in terror at the sight of their opponent.
"Great," Elfman said.
"Of all the people to run into!" Evergreen added.
Mirajane stood before them. She transformed into her Satan Soul form, an evil energy filling the air.
"I'm not holding back just cause you're my little brother," the she devil said in a deep scary voice.
Elfman shivered.
"Hello! I'm here too!" Evergreen shouted. "You have to fight me too you know!"
They went at her, only for her to batter them aside with ease again and again.
"Is that all you got? Disappointing, and after I recommended you," Mirajane said.
Evergreen panted as she looked at Mira who was careful not to look her directly in the eye as Ever could turn people to stone by doing that.
"Well… there is something you should know!"
Mira's eyes widened. A few seconds later… it was over.

On the same island, a man in a black and white outfit wandered through the forest. Zeref, the legendary Black Wizard. Many thought he was long dead, but he was immortal, cursed to be so. They thought he was a villain, but his face was filled with tears of remorse as everything that came near him died.
"I hope I meet you soon… Natsu," Zeref said.
Well, Zeref enters the picture now. I'm definitely thinking of changing things up from canon in this fanfic for him. This story will be concluding at the end of the Tenrou Island Arc and it will be very different as well.
