A woman looked around and surveyed the landscape, her storm-blue eyes thoughtful. It consists of many trees and grassy plains. "This reminds me of Scanra…" she remarked to herself.
"Mama, where…what is this place?" the small child who stood next to her asked her round peculiar amethyst eyes confused.
Her mother, the woman placed her hands on the child's head and ruffled it, smiling sadly. "This is Trebond, our new home."
The child looked up, her long red hair wiping around her, "okay," she grinned then looked thoughtful,' will I know anyone?'
"You will, Araina…I'm sure you will."
4 years later, Trebond
A young seven year old ran though the trees, twisting and turning, as she knew the path well, "you won't catch me, Thom, "she cried gleefully.
"I will," the boy running behind her panted, "if you stop running that damn fast."
"Or," she answered back, "If you run faster."
The boy sighed disdainfully.
Suddenly, the girl stopped at her heels, "Great Mother." She whispered.
"what is it Alanna?' her twin asked, peering behind a large oak tree.
A young woman sat on a large grey rock; she was peering into the small pond. Her silver-gold hair was falling over the sides of her head. She appeared to be in her twenties. Her hand was place a few inches above the water, snakes- no, water was flying around her hand, long opaque strands of water were moving around in the air as if it was alive.
The twins stood, watching the mysterious woman and the water she is playing with, spellbound.
