Paige and the rest of her band had gathered in their usual rehearsal spot. They were playing another one of her recent songs, which lately was one of the few outlets Paige had to get her mind off certain people. The more they rehearsed the more she could focus in the moment.

I really wanna stop, but I just got the taste for it

I feel like I could fly with the boy on the moon

So, honey, hold my hand, you like making me wait for it

Late night, watching television

But how'd we get in this position?

It's way too soon, I know this isn't love

But I need to tell you something

Oh, did I say too much?

I'm so in my head

When we're out of touch

I really, really, really, really, really, really like you

And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?

They all came to a stop but Paige was especially ready to keep going.

"Paige you have been killing it with these songs!" Hazel complimented her.

"We keep playing these no way we could lose the battle of the bands" Ellie added.

"Yeah guess I just needed the right inspiration." She said sheepishly.

"Yeah I still don't understand that, Spinner really?"

Ashley saw their comments were beginning to upset Paige, she also knew the true inspiration behind the recent songs. "Can we get back to rehearsing?" She asked trying to draw the conversation away from that.

"Ash is right, we need every bit of practice." Hazel said.

Paige mouthed the words 'thank you' to Ashley who just smiled in reply. After practice was over Ellie and Hazel exited, meanwhile Ashley walked over to Paige who was putting her guitar in its case.

"Okay so did you talk to Emma yet?"

"Talk to her about what?"

"About what? About what! Paige about your...situation."

"I'm not telling her, just going to ignore this."

"Well what about your other concern?"

"...she knows there's a possibility, I still got a few more days until the test, I'll worry about that when I get there."

"You're not worried?"

"Of course I'm freakin worried! But there's nothing I can do about either situation right now!

Both girls remained silent. The quiet eventually became uncomfortable.

"I know I don't have the support network Emma has. I don't think I'd be able to do as well as she is."

"You may not have as big a network as her but I got your back."

"And I really appreciate it."

Sean was working on his homework, he was really trying this semester. He didn't say anything to her but if he and Emma were going to raise these kids he was going to need every advantage he could get, he would always have his mechanic skills to fall on. Meanwhile Emma was on her laptop. As far as Sean knew she was doing school work but she was researching what to expect next in pregnancy. She'd find articles titled such as "what no body tells you about pregnancy" or "what they don't teach you in health class". Each one freaked her out more than the last one and Sean noticed something was bothering her.

"What's wrong?"

"I'll tell you what's wrong, pregnancy is a load of BS! All these changes women have to put up with, some of them potentially permanent while they guy gets to go on living his happy little life!"

"I-I'm sorry?"

She sat down next to him leaning her head in his shoulder.

"What if I end up as one of the ones who can't lose weight? Would you still love me if I'm stuck like this?" She asked in her most adorable pouty voice.

"Honestly...I kinda like what it's doing to your body."

"Really? You like the giant belly, the mood swings, the-" before she could continue Sean had started kissing her cutting off. After sometime there lips separated.

"The giant feet? The fat ass?" Again they pulled each other back in locking lips before separating again.

"What about everything becoming such a high maintenance issue?"

"What's another word for mechanic? Maintenance man." This time she initiated the kiss. Sometime later after making out they sat together on the couch, Emma with her head on Sean's chest. Sean with his arms wrapped around her.

"Sean? I think I did something bad."

"Why?"

"Paige told me she might be pregnant, and as worried as she is and how this could potentially upset everything she worked for...I also kinda hope she is. Does that make me a bad person?"

That doesn't make you horrible, I don't understand what it's like but I know people say it's a scary time. I think you just wanted someone to know what you're dealing with, not because you're a bad person."

"I'm worried, what if her parents aren't as cool about it as mine were or what if there's no guy to step up?"

Paige sat in her room strumming her guitar which was a common thing for her nowadays. Suddenly she felt a weird feeling in her stomach. She could feel excess saliva gathering in her mouth as the feeling turned to nausea. She ran as fast as she could do the bathroom arriving just in time.

"This is the time of year people get sick this means nothing she told herself." She said it to herself over and over trying to calm her nerves, it wasn't working. "Just a few days to go..."
