Emma was once again working on her health class paper. It wasn't due yet but this topic was obviously very personal for her and she wanted to do it justice. Despite this everytime she would try and research the topic it ended in frustration. Social difficulties, change in friend activities. She knew she'd still have her friends but their time together would be greatly reduced. Physical stress, changes in her body some of which might be permanent. Lack of education, depending on if she'd have anyone to watch the babies during the day not to mention how this would affect college. Financial issues, her parents would help of course but still the idea of trying to support both of them scared her. She slammed the laptop shut. She already knew this wasn't going to be easy but each time she searched it the idea became more terrifying. She looked down at her bump, in reality it wasn't that big but between twins and Emma's thin build it looked so much more noticeable despite only around 4 months.

"I'm promise we are going to get through this, I won't let you down."

She heard the door at the top of the basement stairs open, her eyes lit up as Sean descended the stairs.

"Hey, how's my preggo princess?"

"You really like that name don't you?"

"I do." He said kissing her on the lips then gently lifting her shirt slightly kissing her bump. "You okay?"

"Tell me I'm thin." She said playing up her pouty voice.

"Em you're beautiful." He said kissing her cheek.

"I said thin not beautiful!" She turned walking back to her and slumping down on it. He could tell there was something bothering her. He followed her over to the bed sitting down next to her.

"Talk to me."

She took a deep breath in. "Evertime I go to research this paper I find more and more ways pregnancy screws you over and I got two of them in here!"

"It's okay just calm down, you already had one panic attack!"

"How-how did you know?"

"Paige told me what happened at her place. She's worried about you."

"Did you ever have any nightmares from what happened?"

"One, I had for a few nights right afterwards. In the dream we're standing in the hall there and he's aiming the gun at us. I go to wrestle it from him but it goes off, the bullet flies right by my head...and hits you."

She noticed that now he was the one getting upset. "But clearly I'm okay, thanks to you." She leaned over and kissed him. His eyes moved from her face down to her belly.

"Wasn't able to save you from that."

"You're here now."

"Tell me again about everything pregnancy is going to do to you."

"Obviously women get bigger, especially with twins."

"Yeah?"

"Getting moody and hormonal, probably going to start crying at the slightest inconvenience."

Sean pulled her in for a kiss. "No matter how big or angry you get I'm not going anywhere."

"I'm really glad you were there that day." They went in for a kiss and separated.

"I'm really glad you took on chance on the screw up."

"Look how far you've come."

"Look how thin you look." Her face lit up pulling him back on for another kiss.

Paige sat on her bed. These were the longest three minutes ever she thought to herself. Part of her wished there were atleast one person waiting with her but she decided to do this in private not knowing how she'd react, not knowing if she'd break down or be excited. All she could think about was 2 weeks ago and what was going through her head when she put this plan together. Her phone alerted her, three minutes were up. At this point she wasn't even sure what outcome she was hoping for as she walked to her desk where the test sat, she gently picked it up. Looking down at it she expected herself to breakdown in tears or get excited. But her only reply was "Oh...".
