Paige stood at her locker organizing the contents of her backpack. As she shut the locker door she looked down the hall noticing a certain blonde, she couldn't help but feel her face form a smile just seeing her. Sean came up behind Emma, the two sharing a hug, it was a reality slap for sure. She didn't feel anger at Sean but she hated the situation. She was so distracted she didn't notice Ashley come up behind her.

"Paige."

Paige let out a brief gasp, not expecting her.

"Ash, h-hey what's up?"

"I been talking Jimmy he's still a little freaked out from the other night and Toby is still hesitant to talk to new people."

"Oh."

"Yeah, how's Emma? She still upset?"

"We were talking last night, she was telling me how everything has her on edge right now but I don't know how much of it is that or the obvious hormones."

"She say anything about Sean?"

"Just about this dream he had for awhile after the shooting. What you thinking?"

"They were the four most effected maybe we need to get them all together, give them a chance to work through this."

"I think if we talk to Simpson he'd be able to arrange something."

"That's a great idea...so any news on...?" She said looking down at Paige's midsection.

"N-nothing yet, still got few days before I can take the test."

"Keep me updated okay?"

Paige felt guilty about lying but wasn't ready to talk to anyone about it.

As the bell rang for first period Emma, Sean, and Toby all made their way to Mr. Simpson's before they were sent to one of the empty class rooms. When they arrived they found Paige, Ashley, and Jimmy already there.

"What's going on?" Sean asked.

"The last few months has been hard on all of us after what happened, but some of us more so than others. We're all friends, this is safespace where anyone can discuss anything they been keeping in." Ashley explained trying to make the other comfortable.

The four of them looked down and away from Ashley. Finally Toby looked up beginning to talk. "I guess I'll start. Rick was my friend, that still feels weird to say. I know he had anger issues, like what he did to Terry, but at the same time the idea someone I called my friend could do that. I know in the big picture it's not as life changing as some of you." His eyes glanced over to Jimmy then down at his legs and then over to Emma then down to her belly. "It's just been hard talking to new people cause I worry what if they are also secretly a walking time bomb?"

"Thank you for sharing Toby, anyone else?" Ashley asked the group.

"I killed a guy." Sean started, not looking up at the rest of the group. "I feel guilty about still despite everything he did and what he was about to do and I hate it! Obviously he didn't about what he did so why should I? The news media and everyone else called me a hero for it, and I don't regret doing it seeing what he was about to do to someone I care about, but I dont feel like a hero...just a killer."

"Sean we are all here for you whatever you need. Anyone else?" Neither Jimmy or Emma said anything.

"I have something I want to say." Paige said nervously while standing up as all eyes looked to her. "I never liked him, he put my friend in the hospital. The day of the shooting he was in the cafeteria, he carried his bag in front of him with one hand in it, I didn't think much it at the time but looking back he I think he was about to start shooting there. I told him whoever did the prank was horrible and he left. People tell me by doing that I may have saved the people there in the cafeteria but I didn't." Tears were now forming in her eyes. "I was the one who started this school wide thing. I'm the one responsible for everything that happened to you all, Jimmy your legs, Sean you having to pull the trigger, and Emma..." she walked over sitting down next to her wrapping her arms around her. "I'm so sorry for everything that happened to you." She was now full on crying. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

"I wasn't innocent in this either. We organized this thing together, you didn't force me to do anything." Emma said trying to comfort her, her eyes also beginning to water. "You came through for us when it mattered."

"Don't defend me! She screamed.

"Paige, without you I honestly don't know if I'd even have them to look forward to. I was out every night secretly partying at the ravine, probably would be pretty deep into even worse stuff if not for you."

"Please stop and just be mad at me! I messed everything up! I ruined things for you just like I ruin things for everyone else I care about. I'm a horrible friend, daughter and mother!"

The last bit caused everyone to turn and stare at Paige.

"Damn it." Was all she managed while trying to recompose herself.

"Paige are you saying?"

"Yeah I took it...it was positive"

Emma said nothing just pulled her in for another embrace which Ashley joined in on.

"We'll figure this out together." Emma said trying to comfort her.

"Like you said, whatever it takes."
