The sun glanced its first beams on the ruins of the once-grand Titans Tower. It's pristine windows were shattered and its immaculate steel girders seemed to sag in the explosion's wake.The greenery that once surrounded the tower was burnt and trampled by the thousands of Sladebots that had stormed the fortress the previous night. The Titans didn't even had a chance. The plan had been both perfectly formulated and executed. The Titans were all either dead or scattered. It didn't matter.
The few that had survived would never recover from this strike. The last remaining Titan, the Judas, stood on a nearby beach, observing the last shards of the past.
"Come, my appprentice. Your work is finished." The voicy came cracklingly over the communicator, just as it had for so many days before. The spy nodded. Looking back for the last time at the Tower, a sad, simple statement was made. "I'm sorry, guys." With that, Beast Boy turned quickly towards the east.
