Third Person POV
Percy carelessly walked through the empty hallway of his parent's mansion with only one thought on his mind. Today was the day he'd finally get to open and train with the katana his grandmother had gifted him with. He couldn't wait because it had been 3 years since he had received it and from day one he wasn't allowed to use it let alone unsheath it, but today that would all change. Upon convincing by his mother, he had peacefully agreed to extend the date from when he'd be allowed to use the katana by 6 months, but that is if your definition of peacefully involves 2 and a half hours of screaming from a slightly taller than average 7 and a half-year-old boy and a large number of bribes. As he made his way through the mansion, he looked in every room that he could to make sure his mother wasn't there, but to his major disappointment, his mother wasn't in any of the rooms. He sighed before he chose to give up looking for his mother, and turned around and made his way to the kitchen where he found that the room was darker than normal. He could feel that the shadows were covering something, not something, but multiple somethings with his senses. He tried to use his control over shadows to try and pry them away, but to his disappointment, he found himself unable, as if a being with a higher power was not allowing him to. He shrugged it off, knowing that his mom had multiple things in the mansion covered by shadows because they were inappropriate for a child, but still, these shadows were new. Percy guessed that his uncle Tartarus had gotten him another present that he wasn't allowed to have, and she chose to hide it in the kitchen because she was running out of space. Percy made his way to the fridge and opened it before pulling out a tiny 500ml bottle of Yazoo strawberry milkshake, and he quickly opened it due to the exhaustion of the training he had today. For some reason, he wasn't allowed to practice with weapons yet because his body hadn't developed enough, so his physical training consisted of mainly doing exercises to bulk up, but he was allowed to train his powers, both the shadows and ice.
After finishing his drink, he quickly chucked the bottle in the bin before making his way out. However, just as he made it to the door, he suddenly heard multiple voices scream "SURPRISE", and he quickly turned around and found his moms and dad there along with his siblings, Momos, Aether and Hemera. He couldn't help but scream from shock and a bit from surprise, but he quickly calmed himself down. As soon as he did this, he asked, "What are you doing?".
His father quickly replied, "We thought it would be nice if we're here to see you with your new sword". Percy was slightly shocked but quickly got ever it and once again became overexcited.
He quickly asked, "So where is it?". His mother quickly showed him that it had been on the table this whole time and he rushed to it. As soon as he saw it, he knew he'd love it. The scabbard was black, made of Australian Buluke which had then been coated in some metal only found in Tartarus. He saw that there was a small hole, which his mother had told him was called a kurikata, and it was made of a blend of dark blue and black and it had a dark blue sageo. The handle resembled that of a traditional katana, but it featured gold wrapping with some black ornaments, with a silver dragon on the pummel. The handguard was gold and a deep navy blue, shaped like an octagon with two trapezoidal halves, each with gold dot pattern patches and in a grove like motif with gold rings, inside of which are various circles in clusters of three, arranged in triangular patterns. He gently grasped the hilt, and pulled it, hearing a distant click as he unsheathed the katana. The blade was shaped like that of a normal katana. Slightly curved, sharp point, curved edge, and two fullers. It was not that which left him breathless, it was the colour of the blade altogether which did this. The blade was silver, incredibly bright silver and seemed to have a distinct aura of snow as well as darkness, shadows, night, death? and destruction? surrounding it. It was as if the blade had been cleaned for its whole existence and hadn't even seen a speck of dust. What further surprised him was the sharpness of the blade, it looked almost unrealistically sharp, but he did not care much about that. He studied the blade closer and could see his fathers symbol below the blade collar. The raven that had represented his father was carved upon the blade, with smaller symbols beneath it. He could only assume that the reason why it gave off an aura of shadows, darkness, night and snow was that his parents had blessed the blade, but as to why it radiated death was a surprise to him.
His mother seeing the look on his face told him, "Your uncle Tartarus blessed the blade so that whenever you kill a monster, they would reform even slower than normal, as long as no external force sped up the reformation process, and your brother Thanatos did the same, but for any mortals or humans that you killed that were not good at heart. And to make up for missing most of your birthdays, your grandma gave the blade the ability to cut through reality to create portals". He stood there shocked but nodded nevertheless. As he held the blade, he felt something strange inside of him. It was as if the blade was something that had been missing from him and it somehow felt perfect in his hands. As he tested the blade by swinging it, Khione noticed something. He was a natural with the blade and seemed to move the blade with such fluency that you couldn't tell where each swing ended and where each began. After a few more practices, Percy decided to stop and as if some being was forcing him to do it, he dragged the flat side of the blade along the top of the scabbard, and as soon as the point reached the hole, he pushed the blade in, hearing a click as the blade collar was in. He turned around and saw his siblings staring at him with some jealousy, but as soon as they noticed he was staring at them, they stopped and Hemera ran up to him and gave him a quick hug. She said that he was a natural and within a few years, he'd be as good as an expert.

Within the hell that was known as Tartarus, near the darkest part of this place lay the Mansion of Night, home to the Primordials Nyx and Erebus, however, next to said mansion stood an arena. It was not Beverly large like the mansion next to it, but it radiated an aura of power and darkness like the mansion. As you got closer to it, one could hear the distinct sound of fighting, but not ordinary hand to hand fighting that you would see in the mortal world, rather the sound resembled the sound you would relate to the fighting you would expect medieval knights to make. As you looked into the arena, you could see a black blur as it moved with speed beyond human comprehension and in the remains of his path, you could see the crumpled bones of shades. The arena which had 3 minutes ago been occupied by over 2000 shades now had none, and the reason, the Crown Prince of Shadows, Darkness and Night, also known as Perseus, but preferred Percy. Percy had grown much or recent years. At 14 years old, almost 15, he stood at a dominating 5'10, with large muscles adorning his body, however, they were not too large to give off the appearance that he trained for a living. He had a body many would describe as near perfect as possible. The reason for this, his skin. After spending much of his life in Tartarus, the hell not his uncle, he had grown to slowly lose his light tan, but it did little to hinder his appearance. His appearance consisted of long hair that was neither white nor black, but rather a mix of both, and after watching a movie at the age of 12, he chose to grow his hair long and have it slicked back. His irides had somehow become even darker while his pupils became even whiter. As he readied himself for another attempt, he was stopped by a voice behind him. "Master Percy, your mother requests your presence". Percy turned around and replied, "Sure Dimitris, tell her I'll be there in a minute or two".

Bianca's POV
As soon as I saw the monster, I knew we were doomed. Of all monsters, it had to be the fricking Manticore. Why the Titan's were so interested in two children of Hermes didn't make sense to me. I understand that they need more followers, but why did it have to be the children of Hermes that me, Nico and Annabeth had to bring to camp. I should've just let Thalia come instead of me, it would've made things much easier. I was quickly brought out of my thoughts as a sharp projectile whizzed past my face. I quickly jumped into the cover of a nearby tree as soon as this happened. I sighed. How was I supposed to defeat the monster? I decided that there was no point in trying to hide from the monster and quickly rushed out of the cover with my Stygian Iron sword. I swatted the first projectile headed towards me, but was unable to do so with the second and felt a stinging pain in my thigh as it hit me. I groaned in pain but continued my charge, slowly feeling my energy drain. As I got closer to the monster, I could see the unconscious bodies of my brother, Grover and Annabeth and felt my blood boil in anger. How dare he hurt Nico?. I rushed towards Thorn with renewed energy, but I knew I couldn't last forever and I had to finish him fast. As soon as I got close to him, I swung at his chest, but he used his strangely agile legs to jump up to avoid it. As he was coming down, he used his lion claws to slash at me, and I just managed to deflect it. I attempted an overhead swipe on him, but he twisted out of it before kicking my legs out and while midair, he punched me on the chest and sent me flying.
As soon as I hit the ground, I felt pain flare all around my body. I tried to move my body, but with every cm that I moved, I felt the pain in my body intensify even more. The only relief I had from this burning pain was that my body and my face were on the snow, which did somewhat to make my body feel better. I strained my head to try and look up, and after a few agonizing seconds, my vision settled on Thorn who stood far away, at least 50ft or so. He was smiling. He said, "You demigods have grown weak. So pathetic, you couldn't even challenge me, you weakling. The Great Stirring has started, and by handing you to the Titans, the General with favour me". I tried to reply but found myself unable to. He started to walk over to me, but after a few seconds, he stopped. He looked around as if he knew something was coming, and just as he turned, the sound of a rip resonated through the whole clearing. Fortunately for me, the rip came from directly in front of me, and I saw a blue-ish purple vertical line in front of me. It looked as if someone had sliced the sky itself, and a second after, a horizontal line followed, creating a plus sign of sorts. As soon as Thorn saw it, a look of shock appeared on his face. Then suddenly, at the 90-degree parts where the two lines met, began to expand, creating a diamond of sorts from which you could see a black void that looked almost like a portal. After a few seconds, the portal disappeared, and on the side, I couldn't see stood a figure.
The figure was obviously a man from his stature, and he was muscular, that much as obvious. He had long hair which had been slicked back which was a mix of white and black. He had a katana on his side which was sheathed in a black scabbard. He was wearing a long jacket with the sleeves rolled up, with black boots. The figure spoke with a voice that was not as deep as I believed it would be.
"Thorn, Thorn, Thorn, you speak in such a form that you are implying that you are invincible. Now tell me, do you truly believe yourself to be invisible?". Thorn looked at the man with something in his eyes that I couldn't pick out. It seemed like fear? but that was impossible. Thorn was a monster, and monsters weren't supposed to be scared, right?
Thorn didn't respond, instead, he whistled, and a large band of monsters appeared in front of him. They ranged from large cyclops to dracaena to hellhounds. All in all, there were around 100 monsters. Instead of being scared, the figure seemed almost amused as he replied, "Do you truly believe these weaklings would even land a hit on me? Do not answer, let me finish them and perhaps then you will answer". The man settled his hand on the handle of his katana, as he spread his legs, readying himself for the attack. He partially slid out the katana, stopping after hearing a click, and stared at the monsters, who were slightly spooked by him. After a few seconds, he slid the blade back in, and I could hear the click once again, and as if someone had suddenly released time, the monsters exploded into dust. I lay there, shocked. That was impossible, no one was that fast, not even the gods, except maybe Hermes. The figure spoke once again, "Will you answer me now Thorn, or hide behind your monsters?". Thorn slowly edged away towards the cliff face, but he only took a few steps before the figure in the blink of an eye stood at the cliff face with his blade pulled out horizontally, with his scabbard in his hand. Without even looking at Thorn, he dragged the flat side along the top of the scabbard and as soon as the tip was at the hole, he slid it in, and as soon as you could hear the click of the blade collar, Thorn groaned. I looked at him, and saw that suddenly, he split into pieces and just as each part of him was about to reach the ground, it exploded into dust.
The figure didn't hesitate and he turned around, and as soon as I saw his face, I gasped. Even in my weakened form, I could tell he was handsome. He had perfectly pale skin, with dark eyebrows to go with them. His eyes were magnificent, with rides as dark shadows, and pupils as white as snow. He had a jawline and high cheekbones, which with his slightly sharp nose just seemed to ooze royalty. He began to make his way towards me, but suddenly, I could hear a horn being blown, before the boy caught what looked like an arrow fired towards his face. A second or two later, I could see the shadows of a large number of arrows headed towards him, but just as they reached him, he stood leaning near the tree like nothing happened.
Third Person POV
Percy stood leaning on the tree as the silver arrows of the hunters hit where he had been the previous second. He couldn't help but smile at the goddesses antics. He assumed the reason she was here was because of the manticore, and the reason why arrows were shot at him was because he had easily defeated the monster. Percy watched as a horde of silver-clad girls walked out of the forest, with bows in their hands. He saw that 3 girls didn't have a bow in their hands. One he assumed was a medic as she had a first aid kit in her hand. She made her way firstly towards the daughter of Hades who was one of the two people he had been assigned to protect by his mother. The other was Nico. His mother had informed him that Hades had made a deal with her that Percy would protect his children against the Manticore, and he would make sure that no one would know of the presence of her child. Of the other two, he could guess as to why they didn't have their bows in their hand but rather strapped to their backs. The one who appeared around 14 years of age had auburn hair and didn't take Percy long to guess that she was Artemis. The other girl was a girl with volcanic like eyes and hair that was dark black. Percy assumed that she was the lieutenant of Artemis and second in charge of the Hunt.
The hunters slowly made their way towards him, while the medic stood back and took care of the girls, and after she had almost finished with Bianca and the blonde, she began work on Nico and the satyr. When the hunters reached 40 ft of Percy, they stopped, well most of them stopped. The lieutenant and Artemis made their way towards him. As they got close to him, he stopped leaning on the tree and looked at them expectantly. "Well, what are you here for goddess?".
Artemis narrowed her eyes as she saw the way he talked to her. As she was about to talk, Zoe, spat out, "How dare you talk to Milday like that you filthy boy!". Percy seemed unaffected, and he quickly replied, "What were you trying to achieve there demi-titan, I was talking to Artemis, not you, so do not involve yourself in matters that do not concern you". Zoe was about to rush forward and punch Percy, but Artemis put a hand on her shoulder, slightly alarmed that the male before her knew of Zoe's parentage, and after seeing the speed he displayed in the fight, she didn't want her lieutenant to be badly hurt. Artemis replied, "You show me, disrespect boy when in the presence of a higher power, it is respectful to bow".
Percy looked at her with amusement, and he replied, "Of course it is". Artemis stood there, waiting for him to bow, but when he added, "Go on then, bow", she couldn't restrain herself, and punched him, well attempted to punch him anyway. Artemis ended up punching the tree Percy had been leaning on a minute ago. She turned around looking for him and found Percy leaning on the tree closest to where she had been. Artemis stood there dumbfounded as she looked at Percy, and she noticed she wasn't the only one. All of her hunters were the same. Percy spoke and said, "You know, it is rude to try and hurt the crown prince of a kingdom far more powerful than yours. It often leads to unnecessary wars from which the weaker kingdom often loses. Well, I'm hungry, so I'm gonna go home". Before Artemis could even reply, he melted into the shadows and disappeared, and Artemi stood there shocked.
