Her army totaled thirty five Minions. Ten Browns she had before, twenty that were once guards, and five of the Reds.
The army marched upon the city of Vacuo. Their Leader was a red eyed Lord of Evil all out of mercy.
"This is the last day Vacuo will live", the Leader had said, and while no magic was used one could still hear and feel the power in the voice.
They all had their orders. For their Master only success will do. Fifteen were to follow the Master and help to seize The Shade Academy, kill its leader and all who would not submit to their Lord.
Twenty to head to the Council and kill whoever was inside. If police were to bother them, they too were to be disposed of.
All Kingdoms were controlled by two factions, the Head of a Huntsmen academy and the Council of the Kingdom.
During the march, Gnarl gleefully laughed for his Master had finally came into her Destiny of Evil.
The Red-eyed Master had led her small army towards the Academy. Its beauty was irrelevant, as she marched on through.
"I am in luck", The Overlord said, "Class is in session. That'll make this easy".
The Army marched up to the Headmaster's office. She could sense him, and the way to him.
The Door to the office was kicked open, and in marched the Overlord and her army.
The headmaster looked up from his work, stood up.
She could sense dust in his gloves. That was his weapon then.
"I'm Theodore, Headmaster of Shade Academy", he introduced himself, "may I help you...?
He left a pause to give her an opportunity to give her name.
She made the table before him explode sending him crashing to the wall.
"The Overlord.", she introduced herself, "You will die today, Theodore, as will all who resist me.
Theodore got up and laughed hard and joyful.
"An assassination attempt? I haven't had one of those in a while", his voice then turned serious, "But I will not let you harm my students."
He launched himself at her, and the Overlord cast a Slow Spell on him.
Her eyes opened, and she felt herself collapsed near a wall. She had momentarily blacked out from the force of his attack.
"The difference in speed and power is too great for a simple Slow Spell to cross, Master", Gnarl unhelpfully informed her, "You will have to find another way to win."
The Overlord stood up, pained but alive. The Aura protected her.
"Not down yet? Good", Theodore said pleased, "It would be disappointing if you went down from just one Gravity Dust-powered attack"
The Overlord said nothing letting him speak as she regained her strength.
"Interesting Semblance you have there, Miss, but it won't slow me down enough to make you win"
She sent her Browns at him, while having the Reds fire at him from afar. Using her telekinetic powers she crushed the top of the doorway, collapsing the way out of the room. None of them will leave. No one will interrupt.
Theodore said nothing at her new move, and instead just lazily dodged around the Minions' attacks.
She ripped out the window and sent it at him with her powers. He easily dodged out of the way.
"Is that all you can do, Miss? Because that's pathetic"
The Overlord smiled.
The Window collapsed upon contact with the floor, and the shards like shrapnel all flew towards Theodore.
Although shocked, his experience saved him, or would have, if the Overlord hadn't momentarily held him in place with her telekinesis. The Browns withdrew, and the shrapnel exploded upon contact with Theodore.
The Browns, now newly empowered by the Frenzy spell all jumped on top of him and began pummeling him.
That victory lasted only a short second, before Theodore stood up, flexing, and threw them all away.
"Interesting", he said intrigued, "Perhaps I should take this more seriously…"
Instead of bothering with the Minions, he rushed at her. The floor collapsed before him with a well-placed Fireball, and the ruble exploded once it reached the ground with Theodore.
The Overlord jumped down, Browns following her, Reds maintaining their high ground advantage.
"All these tricks do, Miss, is piss me off", said Theodore looking no worse for the wear.
The Overlord said nothing, as she let Theodore rush her again. She pushed herself away from him via a telekinetic push, as the Frenzied Minion's slashed at his back, and fire rained down on him.
"Hit and Run tactics don't work on Grimm, Miss, and it sure as hell won't work on me", he said annoyed.
He grabbed one of the Minions behind him and threw them at the rest, taking them out of the picture for a few seconds.
"He is fast", The Overlord mussed, "Too fast for me to counter effectively"
"And experienced too, Master", Gnarl added, "I would not recommend trying to outmatch him in your Swordsmanship skills or your brawling abilities"
Boom!
And now she was on the ground again, Theodore towering over her. And now he crashed into a wall from a Minion she had summoned telekinetically to crash into him.
They both stood up.
"You can't take many more hits like that, Miss", Theodore said knowingly, "I'd wager your Aura is just about empty"
And it was. She could still use the Shield Spell if she really needed too, but she didn't seem to have great chances at winning.
"You will die, Theodore", The Overlord simply repeated.
Theodore laughed again.
"I'd love to see that, girlie, but you seem to be standing on your last legs"
The Overlord advanced upon him, despite the warnings of her advisor.
She will not die. He can beat her, exhaust her, and she will stand, ready to strike him down.
Her red eyes shined with brighter, and she threw her sword at him which he predictably dodged. She followed it up with a right, then, left punch, which he also dodged.
He had trouble dodging as he also had to dodge attacks from Reds and Browns.
He punched her, and she blocked with her shield. She was flung back at the wall.
She got up. She punched, as did her servants.
Like before, she ended up at the wall.
She got up, and again she fell.
And again, and more.
The Minions couldn't help anymore as Theodore had used some of the Ice Dust he carried to create makeshift prisons for them. He jumped up, with aid of his Gravity Dust, and encased the Reds in a rock prison with the help of Rock Dust.
He returned to tower over the Overlord.
"Had enough, girlie?", he asked mockingly.
She had no more mana left.
Slowly, weakly she got up.
"Your endurance is impressive", Theodore complimented her, "You would have made a fine student of mine. You were clearly outmatched, but you put up a good fight."
The Overlord attempted to punch him in response, but it was slow, so slow, a kid would have dodged.
"You are beaten", Theodore said simply, "Surrender"
"No", The Overlord replied weakly but with determination, "I will win."
Theodore looked at her with a smile.
"Surprise me then, you who call yourself such a fancy title"
Something fell to his feet, and as he was distracted by the object, Yang put all of her strength into a final attack, a leg sweep to make him fall on the object. He did, and she fell on him.
The Thunder Grenade exploded, Theodore's body taking the full brunt of the attack.
As Yang rolled of him and slowly stood up, she saw that Theodore was alive, but momentarily paralyzed by the lightning.
Yang who gave him a small smile.
"Thank you", she said, "for teaching me just how much further I muss press on."
The red color of her eyes dimmed a bit, although never left.
"But you can't keep me down. No one can"
She slowly walked to her sword and picked it up, and walked back to Theodore.
Through the paralysis Theodore struggled to speak.
"Ha…y-yy-you got me good", he said although it seemed that even with the great effort he put in, speaking was the most he was able to do, "m-my aur-r-rr-ra is dead after that l-ll-last attack. But you know that"
Yang nodded, she did know.
"W-ww-what's your name? Real name?", Theodore asked as politely as one could while paralyzed.
"Does it matter?"
"I- I- I would like t-t-to know the name of the one who k-killed me"
"Yang", she said, "Yang Xiao Long."
It felt good to finally introduce herself with her real name.
"Well, then, Yang, finish it", he asked.
She stabbed him through the back, and stood there, sensing his life slowly leaving his body.
Evil comforted her in that moment, as she waited for his life to end.
"It is done", Yang announced to herself.
She cast her senses and felt her Minions in the city. They said that they too were done.
"One final step remains…", Yang said, "and Vacuo will be no more…"
She had asked her ally, Malachite to make sure that her broadcast would not be interrupted. She didn't care how it got done, whether by pressure, blackmail, an outright attack, or in any other way, just that it got done. She needed the CCTS to transmit her broadcast to every channel, every TV.
All that remained now was the announcement.
She connected the camera she gave her Minions with Theodore's computer, as she did the one she brought with her that thankfully survived. She connected them both wirelessly.
She summoned a Tower Gate, and from it came Gnarl. She had him sit at the computer and make sure the announcement was shown just as she wanted. They've discussed the details beforehand.
She mentally counted down until Gnarl would start the broadcast.
She had to bluff like never before. She could not afford war with the Three Great Kingdoms.
Yang laughed with only a bit of hysteria.
"What I just did will be the biggest hit to Remnant's stability since the Great War", she murmured to herself.
"Get ready, Master, the world awaits"

Gnarl informed her mentally that the broadcast had started. The whole world saw her now.
And, indeed, the world clearly saw an armored figure, with red eyes, with the cracked armor barely holding together. The left side of her helmet had fallen off exposing part of her face.
She lifted Theodore to the camera, her Great Sword still sticking out of his body, before tossing him aside.
Gnarl toggled the view from the other camera, and the world could see the dead bodies of the council men and women.
Yang lifted her right hand to the helmet, and deliberately, slowly took it off and tossed it aside.
"Attention entire world, and especially the people of Vacuo, hear my declaration! I am Yang Xiao Long, and I am now the Emperor of Vacuo! The Government of Vacuo has surrendered to me, Headmaster Theodore dead, as are the Council! You all saw their bodies for yourselves! As a result of this, I am now in control of the entirety of the Kingdom of Vacuo! Those who could challenge my military rule no longer exist! From this day, from this moment forward, Vacuo belongs to me! My first act as your new ruler is to formally dissolve the Kingdom of Vacuo and reabsorb it as a state in my Unholy Ultimus Empire, with the capital being the former Nativitas village to the southwest, now renamed as is tradition to Ultimus. As I had declared my new title in my capital, I will do so again here. I crown myself the Emperor of the Unholy Ultimus Empire, and I name myself Yang de Ultimus, the first of my Royal Bloodline! Obey me, your Emperor, people of Vacuo, and recognize my Supreme and only Authority! All hail the Emperor! All hail me!"
Gnarl switched the view to the cameras the Headmaster had placed in his classrooms to be able to immediately offer assistance if anything went out of hand, and to ensure the teachers were teaching what they were meant to teach.
Yang saw many huntsmen in training, all shocked.
Time ticked by and she began to grow nervous. She couldn't afford disobedience now! Not now at this critical moment.
Slowly, one by one the students bent their knee, and even the teachers submitted albeit reluctantly to her Supreme Authority.
All she could hear from them was "All hail the Emperor! All hail Yang de Ultimus!"
Gnarl then cuts the broadcast.
Yang smiled. She had won.
"Not everyone bent their knee out of loyalty, Lord", Gnarl interjected, "The teachers especially you have to fear if they realize you are not as powerful as you appear"
"They will obey me, Gnarl. They all will."
