Yes, ANOTHER sasuXsaku oneshot. I LOVE making these, if you can tell. I hope this one gets as good a turnout as I'm Sorry! Uh, that's it. This one's a tad different, VERY minor angst. Yeah… a LOT of cute fluffy stuff! Please review… OKAY onward with the reading:

Everything is different when it rains. There are no more fun-loving people walking around, no more little kids yelling and laughing, it's all quiet, except for the brilliant pitter-patter of raindrops lightly hitting my bedroom window. The room wasn't dark, for the moonlight it the room up pretty well, the bluish glow adding a lonely feeling to the almost-empty room. I pulled the blanket to my chin, and slid up against the large headboard. My cherry-blossom locks falling in front of my face. I ran my hands up and down my forearms. My eyes were fixed on the doorknob, wanting it to turn, pleading it to turn. I peered desperately at the pillow next to me, and shut my eyes. I need to get to sleep, if he does come, he'll know I was waiting.

Home. Three months away and it was time to come home. It was finally time to see her again. If I, no, when, I get home… I sat lazily on a small cart with three other guys. One had a idiotic smile on his face as he looked down at the paper he clutched in his hand, the other with an exasperated look but still fiddled lightly with the ribbon wrapped around his left wrist. I looked on hopefully, towards the direction we were going, Kohona.
What am I going to say when Iwalk through the door? It probably won't matter, she may be asleep… he was looking forward to see her smiling face again, the one that invades his sleep at night and appears without introdiction throughout the long days.
That wouldn't be for a few hours. I need to get some sleep, and when we arrive I'll know I was waiting.

The cart halted to a quick stop, jerking the three men inside a little, causing a sleeping one to fall on his arm, until he awoke. He looked up with a smile at his familiar home town, then his eyes searched rapidl throughout the night for any trace of the girl. None. He jumped out, and said goodbye to his comrades, and went quickly, yet quietly, in the diretion of her house.
The key slowly went inside the hole and he stepped in the door, praying it wouldn't squeak and awake her, ruin the surprise. He crept slowly into the bedroom and looked down at he while she slept. Her hair was hanging down in front of her face messily, her cheeks were a light red, and her chest moved up and down slowly with every breath. He watched her for a moment, trying to ingrave this picture in his mind, never wanting to forget this moment. He bent down slowly and lokked at her face. Then, with a smirk, he had his lips lightly graze her forehead. Moments later her bright green eyes opend up, and a that large. Angellic smile came to her lips.
--
My eyes welled with tears. I couldn't stop smiling. I brought my arms out from under the blanket and pulled him down next to me as I laughed at his reaction to the sudden surprise. We sat on the bed for what seemed like an eternity, and how I wish it was, with me in his arms. I felt his unhurried heartbeat that lulled me to a deep sleep. He came, and he knew I was waiting.
