Hey guys! Hope you've enjoyed the story so far. This is the last chapter of season 1, and afterwards, we will be into season 2. I really need Netflix to announce Season 5 soon. IK we just got Season 4, but still.

Stark22: I mean, aside from Season 1, I'm not sure how far I'm gonna stay away or with the canon. I agree with you though about Darius and Brooklynn being a better couple. I think as I get closer to Season 4, which aside from a few things I thought was AMAZING, I'm gonna do some sort of generic love triangle? IDK, a lot of ideas are up in the air right now. Lightningscar: You're right! I totally forgot that Brooklynn was the youngest. For whatever reason, I knew it, but I didn't remember. It's been a while since I looked at that Wiki page you are talking about. When you watch the show, I think he is the smallest, so that gave me the confusion. Everyone, listen to Lightningscar about the age, okay? Okay. I have been doing this for like a year, so thanks for the tip about not typing 100, but one hundred. And I did have a good winter break. Thank you for asking.

Darius struggled to hang on as his grip slipped even more. He saw the terror in Ben's eyes. Why did I ask him to do this? WHY DID I ASK HIM TO DO THIS?! At this point, the only thing keeping them locked together was their fingers. But with gravity being too strong, it wouldn't hold. At the last second, Darius was able to switch to his other hand, and grabbed Ben's wrist. They both smiled at each other as Darius pulled him up into the monorail.

SCREECH! A Pteranodon flew right into Ben, and scratches up his arm! Darius lost his hold, but tried grabbing the youngest teen again. Unfortunately, gravity was just a little bit faster. Darius had managed to squeeze Ben's arm and try to tighten his grip once again, but Ben slipped away. Darius watched as he fell and the Pteranodons flew after him. There was nothing he could have done. The monorail quickly took them away from the scene.

Everyone collapsed onto the ground. Sammy shouted something, but Darius wasn't listening. He felt something on his hand, and when he looked at the palm of his hand, he noticed that it was blood. The teen checked to see if he had gotten scratched by the Pteranodon like Ben, but he didn't find anything. Darius then realized that he had BEN'S blood on his hand. His blood is on your hands. You asked him to risk his life so you could live. The punishment for trading one life for five more is that his blood is on your hands. Darius drew his hand close to his chest. He was on the verge of tears, and was trying to focus on something else. No, YOU don't get to cry. Everyone tried to stop you, and you didn't listen. As leader, it's YOUR responsibility to get everyone home safe. Are you doing that?

Darius looks out at the tracks. The track that they were on before was headed towards the docks, but now they weren't heading in that direction anymore. In fact, the track seemed to go only one direction for miles. "We're going back." Darius whispers to himself as he realises what's happening. "The monorail is going back!" Everyone looked at him with confusion. "When we switched tracks, we ended up going AWAY from the docks." Darius went to the controls of the monorail, and started pressing buttons. He didn't know shit about trains, but he knew that SOMEthing was supposed to happen. Right now, nothing seemed to change. "The most advanced train in the world, and the controls don't even work!" Looking back at the group, he announces, "We got to jump."

"Are you out of your mind dumbass?" Kenji shouts at him. "We can't survive a fall like that!"

Darius snaps back at him. "Do you have a better idea asshole?"

Brooklynn looks ahead at the tracks. Coming up, there was a river that they could jump into. "Guys! There is a river we can jump into!"

Yas and Sammy look at where Brooklynn was pointing. It was coming up fast, and it was now or never. "This is crazy!" Sammy yells. They all brace themselves for the rush of falling one hundred feet into a river. They had no idea how deep the river was, but it was better to try and fail, than to never try at all. Kenji puts on Ben's fanny pack, who had taken it off to make it easier for him to crawl into the hatch. Kenji also gets ready to jump with Bumpy.

"Jump on three!" Darius instructs as the train kept moving. Not giving them any time to over think it, he yells, "Three!" Screams fill the air as they jump.

Darius hits the water feet first. He was dry and freefalling one second, and then swimming in a cold river the next. But he didn't know which way was up or down. But after a few seconds, he breaks the surface! He gasps for air as the current pulls him. He didn't know if he was headed in the right direction, all he knew was that he needed to GET OUT. The water felt like knives impaling him. Darius hits a rock with a hard thud. But at least he wasn't moving anymore. He looks around, trying to see if anybody else was out, but he sees a familiar head of pink hair in the water with him.

"Darius!" Brooklynn shouts as water kept getting in her mouth trying to pull her down. "Guys! Someone help!"

Darius sees her headed right for him, and he prepares to grab onto her. "Brooklynn!" Hearing her name causes her to look at him, and try to swim towards Darius. They grab onto each other, and try to climb out. Darius manages to get Brooklynn out, and crawls up behind her. They both just collapse to the ground, coughing, and trying to keep themselves calm. Darius puts an arm on her shoulder to see if she was okay. "You good?"

"Ish." Brooklynn says nodding. She hears something, and looks over to see Yas, Kenji, and Sammy on the shore as well, trying to get out.

Darius and Brooklynn help get them out, and help them catch their breath. Darius saw Kenji jump with Bumpy off of the tracks, but doesn't see the dinosaur with him. "Bumpy. I let her go when I hit the water." Kenji looks straight up at Darius. "I made her jump, then I let her go. Like what you did with Ben." Darius returns his glare.

The automated voice is heard again. "Attention. All park goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in three hours."

"We don't have time to play the blame game." Sammy tells them. "We need to go look for Ben."

"How?" Yasmina yells at her. "We don't even know where WE are!"

"Well, we HAVE to go back, right?!" Kenji puts in his 2 cents. "Or at least look for Bumpy?"

"If we look for them, we won't make it to the ferry in time." Yasmina tries to reason.

"Not if we leave right now!" Brooklynn says.

Sammy shakes her head. "But Ben-"

"We can't go back for him!" Darius snaps. He had been silent the entire time as they were arguing, but it was just getting to be too much for him. Everything was just moving too fast for him to be calm and collected. He was wondering if he did have a concussion, he was having a huge headache. You are the leader. You are responsible for getting them home safe. "Ben is dead." The teen looks at them. "You understand? He's gone. There is nothing for us to find. And there isn't enough time to go searching for Bumpy. I don't know if she can swim, or if she drowned, but we just don't have the time to look for her." The sudden bluntness of his words surprises himself. "We are one camper down, and Yasmina is the most injured one here. If we go now, we may have a chance to get home. But, we need a new route. I don't know how far we are from the docks."
Darius starts racking his brain for a new solution. "The tunnels! Kenji, you've been here countless times. Is there a tunnel near here that leads to the docks.?" Kenji was looking down, silently accepting the worst for their friend. But there was no time for that. Not yet anyways. "Asshole!" Darius shakes the teen and yells in his face, desperation in his voice. "Can we get to the docks through the tunnels?"

Kenji looks at him, and tells them to follow him. It was dark, so it took him a bit to find a tunnel, but if the tunnels could put them directly to the docks, then it wouldn't matter. Finally, he finds one, and explains, "This will get us to the docks in half the time."

Kenji and Darius are the first to climb down the ladder. They help Brooklynn, Sammy, and Yas reach the bottom. Brooklynn and Sammy help Yas stand up. He ankle wasn't feeling too good after the swim. Everyone was cold, and wet. That kept them awake, and gave them energy to keep going. Kenji takes the lead through the tunnels, since he was the only one who knew where to go.

But, Brooklynn had her doubts. "Are we sure Mr. VIP knows where he is going?"

"Kenji took me down here before." Darius assures her. "We'll be out of here in no time." The five teens come across a security gate blocking a route.

Kenji tries to defend himself. "Everything looks so damn freaky with the lights all red and shit! Come on!" The teen leads them back and forth between different tunnels, but each time, they were met with gates.

"The park must be locking down automatically." Brooklynn says to them when Yas vents her frustration with the gates. Kenji leads them back again to another gate, but this time, there was a door and apparently someone had dropped an electro stick. (IDK if they are called that, but its what I'm calling them from now on unless someone knows what they are called.) "Nice! We can use this for-" Brooklynn was interrupted when Kenji took the stick from her hand, and decided to bang on the metal door to see what would happen. But in his haste, he ended up electrocuting himself. Kenji fell to the floor, and Brooklynn took the stick from him. "I was going to say a walking stick for Yas."

"You alright there The Shocker?" Darius offers a hand to help Kenji off the ground, but the other teen slaps his hand away.

"I'm fine." Kenji was a little shaky and seemed a little jumpy, but it could just be the electricity that was flowing through him.

The automated voice comes over the speakers once again. "Attention. All park goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in one hour."

"NOT HELPING!" Kenji shouts at the speaker.

Darius tries to calm him down. "Just breathe man, and try to rem-"

"What do you THINK I'm doing?" Kenji suddenly turns on him. "Coming down here was YOUR idea Darius, so get the fuck off my back!"

Sammy then speaks up. "Uh, Kenji, the tunnel we came through, were does it lead to?"

Kenji looks at her. "It opens up into the main park I guess. Why the hell do you-"

A growl is heard in the tunnel Sammy was pointing to. A shadow of a dinosaur was seen, and everyone was just waiting to see what it was. When it finally comes around the corner, a tiny, but loud screech was heard. Darius sees that it was just a compy. Kenji wasn't having any of it though. He takes the stick away from Yasmina, and shocks the thing. "Really Kenji?" Brooklynn looks at him. "It's like a foot tall."

"And uh, not alone." Yasmina points out.

The little compy bought the entire family. Darius was getting a bad feeling with this. "We gotta go."

"Go where?" Kenji turned to face him again. "How about YOU lead us out of here then."

"I don't know where any of these tunnels lead." Darius points out. "It's why I asked YOU for help."

"Some leader YOU turned out to be!" Kenji shoots.

Darius shakes his head. "We wouldn't have made it to Wu's lab before giving up if YOU were leading!"

Sammy interrupts their arguing. "Guys, stop it. You're scaring the compy family."

Kenji then picks a fight with Sammy. "Are you shitting me?! After all the shit we've been through today, you are defending the dinosaurs?!"

"It's not her fault that YOU got us lost and can't get us out." Brooklynn defends Sammy.

Yasmina then turns on Sammy. "It's some of her fault."

"Let it go Yas, it's just a phone!" Brooklynn says to everyone's surprise. Now, everyone was starting to argue back and forth with each other. Suddenly the shouting stopped when a much bigger roar comes down the tunnel again. The compies, who had started to attack Kenji, scatter as a big dinosaur comes around the corner.

Kenji and Darius are the first to recognize who it is. "Toro." Kenji whispers.

"RUN!" Darius shouts as Toro chases them.

Kenji had taken the lead. "NOW you know which way to go?!" Brooklynn shouts.

"You wanna ask HER for directions?" Darius defends Kenji.

After chasing, screaming, dodging, more chasing, and even MORE screaming, they finally gained enough ground to find a place to hide. Darius, Kenji, and Brooklynn spotted a vent, and lifted to help Yas and Sammy get in first. The teens heard Toro getting closer fast. Finally, with no time to spare, the vent gets shut, and Toro comes around to see nothing. A few minutes go by as Toro sniffs around the place. Finally, she gives up and runs off into another direction.

"We can't stay here." Sammy whispers. "The ferry-"

Kenji puts his hand over her mouth, telling her to shut up without telling her to shut up. Darius looks up at where they just where, and looks down past Yasmina and where she was sitting. He crawls over there, and feels the wall. Except, it wasn't a wall, it was a vent! The teen tries pushing on it, but it doesn't budge. Yasmina, who was still holding onto the electro stick, offers a hand and suggests using the stick as a battering ram. Darius and Yas get set, and with all the force they could, hits the vent. Nothing happens except an echo of the impact.

The teens sigh in relief as nothing happened, but suddenly, they hear footsteps. A head smashes the vent where Brooklynn was sitting near! Toro roars as loud as she could, scaring the teens. Kenji pulls her away as Darius, Yas, and Sammy push on the vent with the stick. It finally budges, and the teens quickly crawl out. Darius makes sure that everyone gets out before he takes the electro stick, and decides to poke at Toro with it. Not to be mean, but to show her that they may be running, but they would still be able to kick ass. Toro pulls her head back a few seconds after being electrocuted.

Darius gets out of the vent, and sighs as he hands the stick back to Yas. Everyone catches their breath. Brooklynn puts a hand on Darius's shoulder and points to the other wall. The older teen looks to where she was pointing, and sees a sign that says, EXIT TO SOUTH FERRY DOCK 1000 FT. The teens start to laugh and run. Not out of fear, but out of excitement. They couldn't stand to be on this Island one second longer than they had to.

The teens finally get out of the small tunnel and come into a MUCH larger area that looked like an abandoned construction site. Crates and machinery littered the big room. The only problem was that they saw a concrete wall blocking their only escape at this point. They had stopped running out of disbelief, but there had to be some sort of door, or another vent they could climb through. ANYTHING at this point, just as long as they kept moving. But they found nothing. Darius goes to the base of the wall, and doesn't really know what to do. He was starting to get inside of his head.

No. Come on! Not now, not AGAIN, NOT when we are SO CLOSE! Darius was struggling to breath. He hits the wall a few times before slumping down on the ground. The others had regrouped, and found Darius on the ground. Kenji asks, "Darius, what do we do now?"

"I... I don't know." Darius whispers.

Sammy looks at him with confusion. "But, you always know-"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Darius shouts, his voice echoing around the room. "I didn't know what to do. I was making the shit up as I was going. I didn't know what to do when the Indominus attacked, I didn't know what to do about Ben. I didn't know what to do when M-" Darius stops himself as he was feeling himself starting to cry. You don't get to cry. "All my life, I've had bad luck. You guys would have been better off if you had left me in the van. Maybe then you would have made it to the boats by now."

Brooklynn slouches down next to him. "If it wasn't for you, I would still be fighting with Sammy about my phone."

"I would have ran in any direction without you guys if you didn't tell us to head South." Yasmina joins.

"Darius, without you, we would be a mess." Sammy says.

"You made the hard calls when I would have froze up." Kenji admits. "You got us this far, and damn you if you think that we are ready to give up now."

Darius smiles a little bit. They all hear what sounds like Toro's roar. With the reassurance that his fellow campers had his back, he gets up, and says, "Let's check the crates. If Toro is headed this way, we will need something to, at the very least distract her long enough to escape."

After a few minutes of searching, Kenji opens up a crate full of oxygen tanks. Darius tells him to grab them. "Compressed air is pressure sensitive, and flammable. I accidentally discovered this when Mom got sick. Brooklynn, find something to make a fuse. Tape and elastic wrap maybe. Do we have something to light the fuse with?" Yas offers the stick, and they agree that was the best thing they had at this point.

Brooklynn and Sammy find what they were looking for, and quickly make their own version of TNT. They had enough tape and wrap to make one fuse, but that was enough. They just needed one to go off. After a few more minutes, they hear Toro getting closer. The five teens hide behind the crate, and wait for the perfect moment to push the crate into the dino. Toro growled, and was sniffing around the room. The teens knew that it was now or never. Darius tells Yasmina to light it up. After a few tries, the fuse wasn't lighting.

"What's wrong with it?" Sammy asks quietly.

Kenji then gets an idea. He reaches into Ben's fanny pack, and takes out the hand sanitizer. He pours a bit all over the fuse, and Yas tries again with the electro stick. It works, as the alcohol filled content flames instantly. Thank you Ben, Darius silently thinks to their fallen camper. Darius risks taking a peak behind the crate. He sees that Toro was sniffing the air, obviously smelling the fuse. "NOW!" Darius orders. The five teens push the crate towards Toro, and silently hope that it explodes. Toro headbutted the crate, and ONE of the tanks exploded. but the rest were flung all over the room. The tank that DID explode had its pieces scattered all about, and once they landed, the floor caught fire.

Chaos was happening all around them. Toro was trying to attack them all at once, and almost got to Brooklynn. Yas had tried hopping away, but Toro heard the clinking, and turned her attention away from the pink haired girl to the slowly moving athlete. Darius got Toro's attention away from Yasmina by throwing a piece of wood. His accuracy almost made it to the eye. He kept dodging, and moving, knowing that it was the only way to not get eaten. Sammy had gotten Yas away from the dinosaur, and Darius saw the electro stick. Yasmina must have dropped it trying to escape. The teen rushes to grab it, and has something to defend himself with.

Darius swings the stick and turns around just in time to shock Toro square in the jaw. He feels a hand grip his shoulder, and pull him behind some crates. Darius looks behind him, and sees that it was Kenji who pulled him back. Kenji tells Darius, "We have to go!"

The rest of the campers had made their way towards Kenji, and they were in a group again. Unfortunately, Toro wasn't going to let them escape that easy. She was near the wall, and was making her way towards them. It was almost like she was going to enjoy killing them, because she had them trapped, and with one swift lunge, she could easily have killed them. The damn wall blocking their right side, and a bunch of crates blocking their left. Suddenly, Darius saw something. Not one, but a bunch of air tanks were right at her feet. Darius grabs the electro stick, and aims carefully. He throws, and in spectacular motion, the kids duck for cover as the stick hits one of the tanks, and the whole bunch explodes!

It felt like forever when the smoke cleared enough for the kids to see each other. Darius and Brooklynn had managed to find each other before the blast. Kenji, Sammy, and Yasmina had all scattered themselves, but the dust cleared, and the kids found each other again. Everyone was panting heavily, and the pants slowly turned into laughter.

Kenji sighs as he falls onto the floor. "Wahoo. We did it. We beat-" The celebration was cut short when they heard something move in the rubble. A couple of seconds later, Toro was revealed, all scorched up, and in a lot of pain it looks like. She groans and looks at the 5 kids who have caused her SO much pain in the last few hours. Darius and the others stand up. Sammy, Yasmina, Kenji and Brooklynn were prepared to run, but Darius met Toro's stare, and glared at her. The stand off lasted only for a few seconds. Toro roars at him, and turns around, realizing that they weren't worth the pain they had caused.

The five teens erupted into cheers as they finally got Toro to leave them alone.

"Take that Toro!" Brooklynn shouted.

Kenji collapsed in relief. "I thought we were goners."

"That's right, keep stepping bitch." Darius told the dino as she looked over her shoulder at the teens one last time.

Sammy laughs with everyone else. "It doesn't get much better than that!"

Yasmina stands over the others with a smile. "How much you wanna bet?" The athlete points towards where the tanks had exploded. A huge hole had been made! Big enough for the teens to crawl through. And it was still dark! Maybe luck was finally on their side.

Darius helped the others off their feet, and they all run to the hole! Once everyone was out, Darius sprinted ahead of them. If he could get the boat's attention, he would be able to make them wait a few more minutes to let the others on. Darius had pushed through the trees, and saw...

An empty dock. No boat in sight. He tried to see if a boat was in sight, but the water was calm. No sign that the boats were anywhere NEAR the island. Kenji, Sammy, Brooklynn and Yasmina finally made it to the dock, and they saw what Darius was seeing. Absolutely nothing.

"We're too late." Sammy says. She and Yasmina groan. They had almost made it.

Kenji sighed as well. "What do we do now?" he asked.

Darius took a deep breath, and looked at them. "We can't stay out in the open like this. Not at night. We need to find a place to hole up and rest. I'll think of a plan in the morning." The teens turned around, and made it back to the tree lines. Darius stopped for a second, and had a thought. If all the dinosaurs are loose, including the meat eaters, what are the chances they are going to be exploring at night?

He turns towards the group again. "We can't go back into the forest. All the dinosaurs are out of their enclosures, and are probably testing the waters of what they can do. We can't stay on the ground either." Looking at the big trees a few meters into the forest he says, "Aside from Yas, is anyone not able to climb a tree?"

It took them a bit, but finally, everyone was settled in the tree. They were initially worried that they would fall, but after they made sure that they were secure, sleep overtook them. But Darius had something on his mind. I let her go. Like what you did with Ben. Darius had to make amends with Kenji tonight if he wanted to be productive tomorrow.

The teens had been separated to different sides of the tree. The girls slept on one side, while the 2 boys slept on the other side. Darius nudges Kenji. "Must... Save mmermaid." The woken up teen looks around and sees Darius had nudged him. "Mmm, what is it?"

"I'm sorry." Darius says. "You're right. I asked him to risk his life when he didn't want to. If there was a different alternative, I didn't think fast enough."

Kenji interrupts him. "No, you're not at fault. I am. I shouldn't have snapped at you in the tunnel, or on the river. There wasn't another option. If you hadn't pushed Ben to face his fears, we ALL would have died. I don't blame you. It was just an in the moment thing."

Darius smiles. "Thanks man. Sorry for calling you an asshole."

"Sorry for calling you a dumbass." Kenji returns. "So, what's the plan tomorrow?"

Darius shakes his head. "I honestly don't know. I'm too tired to think. I'll come up with something else in the morning."

After that, the teens slept peacefully. Well, as peacefully as one could on a killer dinosaur island.

Aaaaaaand scene. There you go. Season 1 is done. Season 2 is coming soon. Season 3, who knows when THAT will be, and Season 4, some may or may not want some more. Season 5, Im gonna need some hype.
