Another one.

Lightningscar: Hey! I was wondering where you went! Glad your back!

Guest: Kenji singing My Heart Will Go On would have been HILARIOUS! Talk about missed opportunities.

Have a good day, stay home, stay safe.

What a horrible day. Must be a Monday. Darius thought, as he lead Mitch and Tiff through the jungle. They had been walking for an hour. But Darius begrudgingly lead them in the direction of the watering hole. "You made the right choice D." Mitch said. "I know that it wasn't easy, but you did the right thing. Guys like you and me, we have to learn to live with our choices."

"I'm nothing like you." Darius said. "I'm not a killer."

Mitch scoffs. "Killing is making a choice. Chose to stand by your morals, or sacrifice them to save you and your friends. What do you think you're doing?"

"Shit." Darius muttered, as he realized that he was right.

"And you are taking us to..." Mitch says, getting more excited.

Darius answers, "The watering hole." He didn't pay attention to Mitch anymore. He was trying to come up with a plan, but all the options ended with him or the others dead. He had a knife which he knew how to use, but he had one adult behind him, making sure that he's not trying anything, and Tiff in the back, making sure Sammy and Yasmina can't do anything.

Darius turned around when he heard Yasmina grunt and fall. Tiff bumped into Sammy when they stopped abruptly. "What is it?"

Yas rubs her ankle. "It's hurting. I need a break."

"She can't keep up this pace for much longer." Sammy says. "Can she rest for a few minutes?"

Tiff groaned, and started swatting at the flies around her. "Fine. It'll give me a chance to take care of these bugs. Why are they only attacking ME?" she complained. Mitch goes over to help his wife, and the kids do a small huddle around Yaz.

"We can't just go along with this." she says. "We need another plan."

Darius shakes his head. "What else can we do? We either allow them kill the dinosaurs and go home to our families, or we don't, and stay here forever."

Sammy asks, "Or?"

"What do you mean, 'or'?" Darius looks at her. "That's it. I've got nothing, no options. No backup plan." Darius sighs. "I promised to get you guys home, and that's what I'm going to do. I've racked my brain trying to figure something out, but that's it. Okay?"

Mitch's voice is heard. "Hey! What are you three whispering about?"

Darius lies off the top of his head. "We want... a guarantee." Mitch gives him a confused look. "If we are leading you to dinosaurs, we want to know where your boat is."

Mitch says, "We never said we had a boat here."

"You said it was refueling, I know." Darius continues. "So, there are two options. One, tell us where your boat is. We don't want you to suddenly go back on your promise and leave us here. Two, if you are telling the truth about the boat refueling, tell us where it will be docking."

Mitch smiles, looking at Darius. "Looks like you're the muscle AND the brains of your little camp operation." After a few seconds of thinking, Mitch says, "Alright. Here's the truth. We do have a boat. We lied about it refueling. It's at the Northwest dock." Mitch grabs Darius by the arm, and says, "Is that it?"

Darius nods his head. "Yeah. Seems like a fair tradeoff."

Mitch smiles. "Good. Oh, that reminds me, I need to radio Hap, let him know that we are going to need the truck from the garage. Going to need SOME easy way to carry the Dino heads."

"You brought a garage?" Darius asked.

"No." Mitch answers. "We found it." A few more minutes of walking, everyone starts hearing some thudding footsteps. Mitch orders everyone to be quite. He and Tiff start pulling out their guns, and loading them. Darius recognized them. His Uncle had a similar hunting rifle at home. The three teens were shoved behind the adults. The sun had already started to set. After waiting for a bit, the prey finally comes into view. A Stegosaurus. Darius cursed himself for what he was doing. Mitch and Tiff looked in awe. "She's beautiful, isn't she babe? Just stay clear of its thagomizer." Tiff looks at him with confusion. "The spikes on its tail."

The teens watched in horror as the hunters got their weapons ready to kill. Darius was having a mental battle with himself.

Would Mom be proud of you?

Hey, back off. He's trying to get them home.

You know where the dock is. If they have a boat, you can use it to escape, and leave Mitch and Tiff here.

Well, THEY are the ones with the guns. What should he do?

What is the nearest park attraction?

The Mosasaurs.

And where do we have to travel through to get to the Lagoon?

Main Street. But the Rex lives there. She is probably getting ready to sleep.

If he goes to Main Street, he has home field advantage. He would be the hunted...

But the hunters would have a hard time hunting! Amazing!

We've got to get Sammy or Yaz out of here to go find Brooklynn and Kenji to warn them.

How will, they warn them?

He's got a map in his pocket, along with a pen. He could X mark Main Street, and hand it off for one of them to escape with. But we need a distraction.

Great plan. But what can we use as a distraction?

Darius looks, and sees that Mitch was almost ready to take the shot. Mitch looks back at Darius. "Don't worry, it won't feel a thing." Mitch adjusts his scope one more time, and just as he is about to squeeze the trigger, Darius puts his lips to mouth, and whistles as loud as he could. The sudden noise causes Mitch to jump and fire a bullet at a tree branch. He looks back at Darius with a face that screams PISSED. OFF.

The Stego let's out an aggressive moan, looking at the group of humans. Suddenly, the Stego starts charging at the group. The teens move out of the way as the Stego starts causing chaos and separate the teens from the hunters. Unfortunately, it didn't last long. Mitch caught up to Darius, separating him from Yaz and Sammy.

Mitch gripped onto Darius's arm and tried to drag him. Darius turned to face Mitch, and punched him square in the jaw, causing Mitch to fall backwards. Darius saw Yasmina with Tiff, and thought fast. He took out the map, quickly crossed Main Street. Mitch grabbed Darius by the arm again, dragging him over to Tiff.

"I told you these kids would be trouble." Tiff said.

"Not the time babe." Mirch shot back.

Darius shoved Tiff to the ground,, and handed the paper to Yaz. She looked at him with confusion, before Darius looked back at Mitch. "Go!" Darius took another punch at Mitch, and started to wrestle him to the ground. Darius heard Sammy block Tiff from catching Yaz. After a few more seconds of wrestling, Yasmine finally escapes.

Darius got up off the ground, causing Mitch to grab him bye the arm again and shove Darius back. "I trusted you Darius, and you betrayed me." His face was a little bloody and VERY. PISSED. OFF.

"I know the feeling." Darius shot back.

"You had a simple choice, and you chose to save the dinosaurs over your friends." Mitch looked at him with confusion.

"No. There is always a way out." Darius responded firmly.

"It doesn't matter now." Tiff says, throwing Sammy on top of Darius, causing them both to fall. "He's still taking us to the watering hole." Tiff takes her electrostaff and turns it on. The blue electricity reflected on her face. "Because now, I am in charge."

Mitch and Tiff were arguing about who's fault it was that Yaz got away. "So what's the plan?" Sammy whispered. The adults were walking behind as Darius lead them.

"I'm leading them to Main Street. If I'm right, we should be there in about another hour." Darius explains. "Once we distract them, we take their guns and run."

"What if Rexy shows up?" Sammy asks, doubting the success rate of a plan like thus.

"Then just run faster." Darius says.

Sammy rolls her eyes. "Oh, wow. You make it sound SOOO simple."

"Hey!" The teens turn to look at Mitch. "How much further? And what are you two whispering about?"

Darius stutters for a second. "I was just saying that... it's right through here. It's going to be another hour of a walk though. And it's already six."

Tiff groans. "Another hour? We should have brought the jeep near camp."

After more groaning, more whispering about the plan, and even MORE complaining from Tiff, they finally break past the tree line to Main Street. Darius and Sammy silently held their breath as the examined the terrain. "This isn't the watering hole." Mitch said. "Does this look like the watering hole babe?"

"Sure doesn't babe." Tiff said, and the adults started to turn on the kids.

Darius tried to by them a little more time. "Whoa whoa whoa. Hang on. It's just through here."

Mitch wasn't buying it. "Don't lie to me again Darius." Tiff and Mitch had Sammy and Darius backed up. The teens ended up hitting their backs on the shelf. SHELF. Sammy and Darius shared a quick look. "NOW!" Darius and Sammy quickly pulled down the shelf onto the adults, knocking the electrostaffs and guns away from them. In the escape, they only grabbed the guns. The staffs would have made too much noise.

Mitch and Tiff didn't stay knocked down for long. Darius knew that as he heard the sound of footsteps behind them. Darius and Sammy had ran down towards the visitors center. They had a lot of cover to hide. Darius made a motion of his hand that said split up.

Darius hid with the guns. He would have a hard time hiding some more, but at least he had them instead of Sammy. They heard Tiff and Mitch walking and whispering about where to go. "Be reasonable D." Mitch said. "You know that we are hunters. We can easily find you and your friends."

Tiff started calling out their names in a fake sweet voice. That was actually what made Darius afraid of Tiff. Crazy bitch. Darius and Sammy slowly made their way to the visitors center. If they could get inside, they would be able to evade them as much as possible. Maybe getting a chance to do a switchback, and run in the opposite direction. Darius and Sammy eventually made their way back to each other. But just then, a Compy started to squawk at Darius. Darius didn't know what it wanted, but he knew that it was making a lot of noise. The compy suddenly jumped forward between Darius's legs, and pulled out a pizza. Darius sighed a breath of relief as the Compy ran in the direction of Mitch and Tiff.

The teens used this as a chance to get inside any building. If they could get inside what looked like to be some sort of bathroom store. They tried to get in, but the door was blocked on the inside. "I've had it with you brats!" The teens turn to see Tiff and Mitch.

"Give us the guns Darius, and you and your friend won't get hurt." Mitch tried to negotiate, but Darius isn't having it.

"Can't let you shoot dinosaurs." Darius says.

Mitch sighs. His patience was getting short with Darius. "That's not your call to make. I've tried being nice, but you're just too stubborn." Tiff and Mitch turn on their electrostaffs. "Now give us the guns." Darius shook his head. "The only reason you are alive is because we need you alive. But the minute you are useless to us, we're going to-" Mitch was cut off by the tablet starting to ding. The adults looked at it, and saw a bunch of red dots.

Darius came to the same conclusion as Tiff. "Whoever turned on the power, thank you!" Tiff said. Darius started to get nervous. The plan was starting to fail.

"Sorry Darius." Mitch said. "Looks like we don't need you anymore." The adults turned toward the kids and were about to hit them with the electrostaffs, when they heard footsteps thudding. Deep thudding.

Darius looked in the direction of the sound, and realized what was happening. "We gotta go." he whispered to Sammy, who nodded in agreement. But it was too late. The Rex made her way out of her paddock, and onto the street. Mitch and Tiff started to panic. Rexy started to attack, and in the chaos, Darius dropped the bag with the guns. Darius and Sammy forgot all about them, and just hid underneath some debrie. The sound of Mitch and Tiff screaming and running away from the Rex filled their ears. After about a minute, Darius heard the screaming fade away. Mitch and atiff had escaped with the guns, and now they were going to head to the watering hole.

But they had a bigger problem. The T-Rex was still there and searching for Darius and Sammy. Finally, the Rex sounded like it had given up on the chase and was heading back to bed. Darius and Sammy let out a breath of relief too soon though. The thudding stopped, and resumed in their direction. The teens cursed themselves, and were about to make a break for it when another T-Rex was heard. They risked poking their heads out and saw that it was a hologram. Yaz must have found Brooklynn and Kenji, and found a way to turn on the power.

But Darius and Sammy ran away from the Rex in the direction they saw Mitch and Tiff run. The adults had a head start, but that wasn't important at the moment. The teens just kept running and running. "From now on, all of your plans should start and end with one step." Sammy said.

"Run?" Darius asked.

"Survive!" Sammy clarifies.

Finally, they stopped running and needed to catch their breath. Darius suddenly realized. "What do you mean, 'my plans'?" he asked.

Before Sammy could say anything, a new voice was heard. "WHATS UP PARTY PEOPLE!?" Kenji's voice comes over the speakers in the trees.

"Kenji! Haha! Yes! Is Yaz with you?" Darius asked.

"Hello humans. Take me to your leader." Kenji said in his best robot voice.

They hear him yelp as Brooklynn pushes him away from the speaker. "Are you guys okay? Where are Mitch and Tiff?"

"We are fine, but Mitch and Tiff are headed for the watering hole to kill all the dinosaurs." Darius explained.

"We can't here you guys." Brooklynn said. "Try acting it out for us?"

"Oh, I LOVE this game. Okay." Kenji said in an exciting tone.

Darius and Sammy were doing their best to act out drinking. But nothing was working. Thus went on for five minutes. Kenji was being stupid and Brooklynn and Yaz were not getting it. Darius was getting more and more frustrated. "The watering hole! They are going to the watering hole!" He groaned and started to pace. He took a deep breath to calm himself down. Looking at Sammy, he says, "I've got one more plan."

"What is it?" Sammy asks.

"You help the others get to the boat. I'll slow down Mitch and Tiff. They aren't going to leave the island without getting paid and maybe a trophy."

"You want to take on two armed hunters alone?" Sammy shakes her head. "You're going to get yourself killed."

"If it gets you guys home, then fine." Darius said before signing. "I lost Ben because I asked him to risk his life. I'm not doing that again. If you get to the boat, you guys have a chance."

Suddenly, a new voice came over the speakers. "We got your back Darius. Screw the boat. Mitch and Tiff are going down."

Darius thought he was going crazy. "Ben? Are you shiting me?"

Sammy let out a laugh of disbelief. "Oh, right. You guys didn't know. Anyways we found the button so we could hear you. And I defeated Toro. And Bumpy says hi." Darius and Sammy couldn't believe it. Ben was back? "I think I broke them." Ben said when Darius and Sammy didn't say anything after a few seconds.

Yasmina's voice came over. "Yeah yeah. We are all happy that Ben is back."

Brooklynn said, "If Mitch and Tiff are going to the watering hole, then we need a plan to save the dinosaurs."

Darius shook his head. "No. You guys get out of here. I'm not going to risk losing you guys."

"You don't have to do it alone. Like Ben said, we got your back." Brooklynn said.

Everyone agreed. Darius sighed. "Alright. Mitch and Tiff are going to the watering hole. How do we stop hunters in the safest way possible?"

"We don't have to stop Mitch and Tiff from getting to the watering hole." Sammy exclaimed. "We just have to make sure there aren't any dinosaurs there for them to kill."

Darius got a plan. "Alright. We go with Sammy's idea. Here is the plan. Kenji, Ben, Yaz, get yourself a nice ride, and something to make noise with. We need to get loud. Kenji, come pick up me and Sammy. We will meet up at the hill that leads to the watering hole. Brooklynn, you are the eyes in the sky. Keep track of everyone, and track Mitch and Tiff. Once we scare the dinos away, we all meet up at the Northwest dock, and steal Mitch and Tiff's boat. It's time to do what we do best."

"Cause chaos?"

"Piss off a bunch of dinosaurs?"

"Defeat Toro again?"

Darius heard them all and said, "I mean, yeah. Except that last one."

With a plan, the teens race the clock. Mitch and Tiff had a head start, but the teens knew their way around the jungle. That gave them a slight advantage. Kenji finally caught up with Darius and Sammy. Darius and Sammy got on the motorcycle that he was using. "Where did you get this?" he asked.

"Call it a gift from Hap." Kenji said, and started to drive them to the watering hole.

"Where is Hap anyways?" Sammy asked, wondering if he was someone they had to worry about.

Kenji told them, "He died protecting me and Brooklynn."

Darius and Sammy silently thanked him. It was about two A.M. when Darius checked the watch. According to Brooklynn, they were closing the gap between them and Mitch and Tiff. But they were going a little too slow for Darius. "Can't you go faster?"

"Not unless you want to fall off." Kenji said. "It's really hard to balance three people on this thing."

Brooklynn's voice came over the speaker. "Guys. Mitch and Tiff are almost at the watering hole. You need to find a faster way there."

Thinking fast, Darius asked her, "Is there a tunnel near here?"

A few seconds later, Brooklynn said, "Um, if you go back a little bit, there is a tunnel that leads directly to the watering hole."

Darius gets off. "You guys go ahead. I'll meet you guys there. You will get there faster without three people. Once you see the sunrise, you guys start, weather I'm there or not. Got it?"

Kenji nodded his head. "Good luck Dino-Jock." Kenji and Sammy went off faster.

Darius ran back to where Brooklynn told him to. "Alright Darius? What's the plan?" Darius didn't answer her right away. "You noble dummy, you don't have a plan, do you?"

Darius opened the tunnel entrance, and looked at the camera. "Get everyone to the boat. I'm taking Mitch and Tiff down."

Brooklynn realized, "You're still trying to do it alone, aren't you?! Darius!"

He shut the entrance, and raced off. I'm sorry. I can't afford to let anyone else die because of me.

Darius checked the watch. It was about 2:15 in the morning. He ran as fast as he could, figuring that since the others have their vehicles, they will get to the boat before he makes it to the watering hole. But he still needed a plan. He had a knife. That could be useful. If he could also grab a gun, maybe? He didn't really see himself surviving this. Sorry Brandon. I tried.

Finally, Darius got to the tunnel entrance. It was almost sunrise, so he had to move fast. Breaking through the ground, he saw that Mitch and Tiff were getting ready to shoot the dinosaurs. He was trying to think which one would be the best to tackle. If he tackled Mitch, that leaves Tiff, the most unstable one. If he took Tiff's gun, that would leave Mitch, who seems more collected. Oh screw it all.

Darius crept as quietly as possible until he was right behind Tiff. He suddenly rushed at her land knocked her down, causing her to lose her gun in the process. He quickly picked up the gun after shoving Tiff towards Mitch. He pointed the barrel in their direction. Mitch chuckled as he saw what was happening. "You know, I ought to give you credit. You've done what no one has done to me before. You have become a pain in my ass."

"I aim to please." Darius said simply.

Mitch chuckled slightly. "Speaking of which, put the gun down D before you hurt yourself."

"Grew up in Montana. I know how to use this thing." To prove his point, he said, "Nice Paramount. I'm assuming custom job, since the butt seems more fitted for a smaller shoulder. You must be a good shot Tiff. The barrel is slightly longer than your average rifle."

Mitch started smiling. "You really know your stuff. I'll make you a deal Darius. Your friends are dead weight. But YOU, you have skills that we could use. If you would be willing to work with us, we will give you double of Hap's share."

Darius shook his head. "Sorry. I made a promise."

Mitch sighs, and raised his gun. "Then I guess we don't have any other option except to shoot you."

Darius raised his gun to defend himself. If he died, he wouldn't have to live with the pain of killing another human. Mitch and Darius had what looked like a standoff. They had their guns at the ready to aim and shoot. Darius was thinking that Mitch may have the faster draw, but if he aimed with his hips, that might work. Mitch swiftly aimed his gun at Darius. He didn't count on a gyrosphere knocking him and Tiff to the ground, out cold. The gyro hit them just as Mitch pulled the trigger. The bullet grazed Darius in the arm.

He knelt down, trying to feel if the bullet went in him, or if just grazed him. He felt what he thinks is a graze mark. He quickly grabs the other gun, and throws it away. He checks to see who is in the gyro. Oh shit.

Brooklynn finally got the door of the gyro open. "Are you fucking stupid?! Are you really that mad at me that you want to get yourself killed?!"
Darius shook his head. "I told you to get to the boat!"
"I'm sorry!" Brooklynn shouted. "Is that what you wanted me to say?"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Darius said, as they both just started shouting at each other. "I told you to get the others to the boat!"
"How dare you tell me to get the others to safety while I was sitting there worried that I was going to have to watch you die!" Brooklynn shouted.

Darius shook his head, and grabbed her by the shoulders. "This isn't like the monorail! You understand? There is no river to catch you. If you fall, I cannot catch you! I'm not strong enough to lose someone else!" After getting all the emotions off their chest, they put their heads together. "I got lucky with Ben. If I lose you or anyone else here, I won't be able to live with myself."

Brooklynn looked at him. "We're supposed to be a team. Okay? So let us help you. I'm sorry for what I said. I broke your trust, when you have been trying to get us off this damn island. I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry."

They both shared a hug, Brooklynn on the verge of tears about what might have happened. "Hey lovebirds!" The teens looked to see Tiff and Mitch getting up. "Next time you want to have a heart to heart, maybe kick the guns farther away. Because we are armed... AGAIN." Darius got Brooklynn behind him as he pointed the gun at them again.

Mitch sighed. "You guys have given us more trouble than the animals we hunted combined. And we have hunted a couple of annoying animals."

Tiff started to aim at Darius. "You are clearly the leader here and the most trouble, so I'll kill you first as quickly as possible. But I'll take the girl, and kill her slowly and painfully. She will feel every cut and gun shot, and stay awake long enough to look at how ugly she looks." She was about to shoot until Mitch got her attention.

"Wait, Tiff. Do you hear that?" The adults looked around, trying to find the source of... Heavy thumping, a car horn, and... 90's hip-hop?

Darius and Brooklynn looked over the hill, and saw that the others were coming over, and headed towards the watering hole. Looking back at Mitch and Tiff, he says, "This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object." The adults looked at the watering hole, and saw that all the dinosaurs were running away. Looking at the tablet, they saw the dinosaurs scattering away as fast as possible. While looking at the tablet, Darius and Brooklynn slowly made their way to the gyro. But Mitch and Tiff looked at them. "Where do you think you two are going?" Tiff asked them. The kids quickly finished getting in the hamster ball, and closed the door just as Tiff fired a bullet at them. It missed, as the kids drove in the nick of time.

After about a minute of driving, the gyro starts to malfunction. It starts moving Brooklynn and Darius's seat forward and backwards. Finally, it just stops moving all together. The gyro shuts off, and hits a tree because of the lost steering. The two teens groaned in a little pain. They have been up all night, and were pretty tired. They sit there for a few minutes, and suddenly heard Mitch and Tiff calling them. Darius looks over his shoulder, and saw them run right past them. But the adults quickly ran back and looked in their direction. Tiff raised the gun, and fired a bullet at them. The bullet went straight through the gyro, causing Brooklynn and Darius to yell in surprise.

Darius mutters to himself, "Stops a .50 caliber bullet my ass."

Brooklynn looked at him, then asked, "What do you mean? It broke through the glass, didn't it? So it's stronger."

Darius explained, "They are using Paramount Rifles. They use .40 caliber bullets."

Brooklynn groans. "So much for spared no expense."

Mitch and Tiff get closer, with Tiff firing another bullet. She could easily have hit them, but she wanted to watch them die. They had caused her so much frustration that she just couldn't keep up the nice lady act. After another bullet hit the glass, Darius was worried that the gyro wouldn't drivable. He kept trying to turn it back on, but the wiring was probably damaged on the inside.

Mitch and Tiff got right next to the gyro and looked at the teens. Brooklynn whispered to Darius, "I told you we shouldn't trust them."

Darius shoots back at her, "'I told you so?' Really? Now?"

Mitch delivers one more typical bad guy speech. "You should have taken my offer Darius. It's a shame. You could have made a lot of money. We could have even been friends." Tiff raised her gun. "Too bad you have to die now." Before she could fire, the tablet once again beeped.

Mitch and Tiff looked, and again saw a herd of red dots coming their way. The ground started shaking, and they all looked to the right. A herd of dinosaurs coming right for them. Mitch and Tiff ran, trying to put some distance and find a better tree to climb. Darius kept trying to start the gyro, but it wouldn't budge. Darius and Brooklynn shouted as the dinosaurs hit the gyro. They spun around and around, hitting trees, and dinosaurs, and more trees. "I HATE DINO PINBALL!" Darius shouted, as Brooklynn continued screaming.

Darius gripped the joystick again, and jerked it each and every way, hoping that the rolling motion and steering would jump start the gyro. Finally, it worked! The screen came to life, and Darius started driving again, away from the herd. They put some distance, not really caring where they would end up. Finally, they stopped, and sighed in relief. Then, the laughter started again. It seemed no matter how many times they look death in the face, they always managed to escape and live to tell the tale. Darius silently wondered if when their luck would run out.

"Well, that was fun." Brooklynn said.

Darius shook his head. "Let's never do that again." He looked at the watch, and saw that it was about six. He looked at Brooklynn, and said, "We've got to get to the boat. We said we would meet the others there."

They made their way as fast as possible. They saw that they were there first. Well, the first of the six campers to get to the dock. Tiff was there, and almost halfway down the dock to the boat. Darius got as close as he could to the entrance, and got out. Tiff had closed the metal dock entrance, so he had to move those. But once he did, he ran as fast as he could to catch the boat. Darius heard the engine turn on, and tried running faster. The boat started to move. He saw that Tiff didn't cast off, so he thought he had a chance. He got within a yard, and the boat had broken away from the dock. He slid to a stop on the concrete, almost falling into the water. Brooklynn grabbed his shirt before he could.

They watched as the boat left. Tiff came out of the engine room, and looked back at the two teens. "HAHA. I AM OUT OF HERE! I'M LEAVING YOU KIDS HERE TO ROT! I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL WHEN ALL OF THIS IS DONE! YOU ARE GOING TO STAY HERE FOREVER, AND I AM NOT TELLING ANYONE I FOUND YOU HERE!" And that was that. Brooklynn and Darius watched the boat leave around the bend. They sighed. That was their only chance.

Darius thought, If only I was faster. I was too slow again.

Brooklynn and Darius walked up the dock feeling beaten. And they were. In just one day, they had hope, no hope, hope again, and no hope. It was just too much. If it had spanned maybe four days, that would be one thing, but this was the worst twenty-four hours of their lives. Kenji and his motorcycle arrived at the dock. He just jumped off and watched it hit the dock wall. Once again, he laid down on the ground. A few minutes later, Bumpy broke through the tree line with Sammy, Yasmina, and Ben.

Darius watched as Ben got off. He took in his appearance. He was wearing his tank top, his cargo shorts, and looked like he was using part of his blue shirt as a bandana. He also somehow looked taller. Darius couldn't believe it. The skinny kid he had met 2 months ago had changed. He still looked skinny, but Darius could see a little bit of defined muscle as well. The jungle really does wonders. Darius figured.

Ben and Darius just looked at each other. The other campers just watched. Ben and Darius didn't know what to say to each other. Finally, Ben broke the ice. "Uh, hey." Darius ran up and hugged him. Ben was back!

After a long and tight hug, Darius said, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you to risk your life. Everything you've been through is my fault."

Ben looked at him. "Think nothing of it kid. When you've seen what I've seen..." Ben sighed, and with relief, said, "I missed you too." The two hugged again.

Darius suddenly realized. "Did you just call me kid?" Ben smiled. "You little shit!" Everyone joined the group hug.

Yaz, who somehow ended up in the middle, interrupted the moment. "Hugging... Too long." Finally, they all let go.

Brooklynn asked, "What do we do now?"

Darius shook his head. "I don't know. It's been a long day. Let's just head back to camp."

They made it back, and everyone was feeling beaten. It was nice to have Ben back, but they still had no way off the Island. Yaz and Sammy gave Ben the grand tour of the base, Kenji started sleeping, and Darius and Brooklynn sat down on the couch. "Do you still think Dave and Roxie are looking for us?"

Darius didn't have an answer for her. He just sighed. After the tour was over, Darius said, "We should get some sleep. We all need it. Ben, you can have my bed. I'll take the couch."

Darius didn't fall asleep. He was too busy thinking about everything. Ben was back. But the boat was gone. If he had just listened to Brooklynn, maybe things would have played out differently. No. He KNOWS things would have played out differently. Darius sighs, and starts looking for the camera. He found it, and decided that he would do a video entry. He checked the watch before, and saw that it was about noon. Everyone was fast asleep.

Darius pointed the camera at his face. "It's day... I don't know. We ran out of chalk space a while ago. Should have drawn smaller." Darius sighs. "Camp moral is currently at an all time low. We found Ben, which should lift our spirits up. Unfortunately, the last twenty-four hours have been brutal. We had a chance to escape, and we blew it. The people we ran into were not good people. They were hunters. Hired by someone to come here and kill the dinosaurs. We stopped them, but one of them got away in their boat. For a little context, we thought that these people were here to save us. They said that they were ecotourists. Spoiler alert, they weren't. We discovered that they had a boat after they had threatened to kill us if we didn't help kill the dinosaurs. And being the idiots that we are, we resisted. The dinosaurs are safe, but again, one of them got away."

"This leads me to believe that no one is coming. They must think we are dead. Why wouldn't they think so? We're on a dinosaur island. You know, if I had listened to Brooklynn, we probably would be on that boat right now, and the hunters would be on the island, forced to survive. God, Brooklynn. There is just so much about her that I love. She drives me insane though. She is just as stubborn as me, maybe even more so. She is strong willed, and passionate about everything she does." Darius sighed.

"But at the same time, I love it. I love everything about her. The way she talks, the way she talks about her family, the way she challenges everything. It goes beyond physical attraction. She's beautiful, yes, but... No one has ever made me feel this way." Darius paused for a minute. "I really wish I could introducer her to my Mom." Darius looked at the battery life on the camera. "This thing is going to die soon. I'll probably just eat up the last few minutes here."

Darius got up, and pointed the camera to everyone. Kenji, Ben, Sammy, Yasmina, and Brooklynn. He left the camera on her for two seconds longer than the others. He sighed and pointed the camera back at himself. "No help is coming. If we want to get off this damn island, we're going to have to do it ourselves. It's going to be risky, but it will be worth it to get these guys home. They are my team. They are counting on me. I'll let them rest, and then tomorrow, we will brainstorm some ideas on how to get off the island."

Darius sighs as he sat down on the couch again. "But just in case things... Don't work out, I just want to say, I'm sorry. In the off chance that anyone finds this, and we die, I'm sorry. Kenji's dad, Ben's mom, Yasmina's parents, Sammy's family, Brooklynn's dads, I'm sorry I couldn't get your children home safe." Darius sighs. "I'm sorry, Brandon. I tried. I really tr-" *shkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk*

Darius watched the camera die. At least he got it off his chest. He put the camera down on the table, and went to write a note.

If you guys wake up before me,
wake me up at eleven P.M. for the evening watch.
- Darius

Darius laid his head back, and closed his eyes.

And there we go! In three or four chapters, season 2 is finito. Hope you all enjoyed. This is where I start writing a bunch of filler chapters and develop some character ships. I think I've developed enough Darlynn for now. Maybe try to develop Ben, along with Sammji. I don't know. Did you all catch the Super Bowl? I gotta say, BEST HALFTIME SHOW EVER. I'm going to tell my future kids that they were the original Avengers. My only complaint was that it was too short. Other than that, Dre, Mary J, Eminem, and everyone else killed it. Hope you guys have a good day, stay home, stay safe.
