What if it had been Obi wan ,Plo Koon, Shak ti and Yoda who went to confront and arrest Palpatine. While Anakin stayed put at temple and therefore never turned to the darkside. But instead ended up helping try to save the other Jedi and died trying to protect the younglings in the council when the clones attacked. what if Qui gon and the force gave him a chance too change things .

2. Chapter 2: You Want Me To Kidnap Who!

Anakin woke up to a voice calling his name . Obi wan just 5 min s it's not time for class yet Anakin muttered. "Obi wans not here Ani "the voice said gently.

Anakin sat up and said "were am I ?, who are you? and where is Obi wan?" "Your in the force void between life and death and as for who I am hurt that you don't remember Ani "the voice said then it added "I don't know where Obi wan is !I only know that he's not here".

Anakin 's eyes widened as he started realise who the voice belonged too . "Qui gon?!" Anakin cried " hello Ani it's good to see you again " Qui gon said sadly.

As he shimmered in to view and came over to Anakin and sat down next to him.

"So I'm dead then ? I mean I ve got to be if I ' m here with you !right?"Anakin asked . " Yes and no as I have a way for you to go back to change ,what happened to stop Palpatine and order 66 "Qui gon told him.

"Go back? how because if I 'm dead then there is no going back " Anakin replied. Qui gon chuckled and said "oh Anakin the force works mysterious ways you should know that by now ".

Anakin rolled his eyes and said "you sound like Yoda but without the backwards way of talking " Qui gon gave Anakin the same look that Obi wan used too give, Anakin when he thought that Anakin was talking complete bantha crap.

Anakin sighed and said "Okay what do I have to do change things then" Qui gon looked sad and said "well you are going to have to keep the Jedi from finding Obi wan as a baby "

Anakin's jaw all but hit the floor "you want me too kidnap Obi wan and prevent him from becoming a Jedi?!" Anakin asked him in shocked surprise.

"Anakin there's a lot that Obi wan never told about his past as child and his relationship with with me , but just know this you and Obi wan are more a like than you will ever know " Qui gon said a look of sadness and regret in his eyes.

Anakin stared at Qui gon as if he had grown a second head and said " we are talking about the same Obi wan kenobi model Jedi and council golden boy, aren't we?"

Qui gon laughed and said " he wasn't always the council golden boy as you term it Anakin, the reason that he became such a rule follower was mostly my doing and folt he wasn't always a rule follower that you remember Anakin ".

"Okay if you say so but I still don't think that we're talking about the same person " Anakin said.

Qui gon just shook his head and muttered "force save me hard head the pair of them!" "Hey! Standing right here" Anakin said.

Then he sighed and said " Okay tell me exactly what I have to do and how I 'm going change the things that happened and make things better and stop order 66 then!"

Qui gon smiled and told Anakin his plan for changing Obi wan and Anakin's fates and preventing order 66 and the rise of palpatine and the Empire.
