BACK FROM SPRING BREAK! WAHOO! MORE CHAPTERS! Unfortunatly, that also means I have school work to do. UGH.

Guest: I actually am going to cover BioSyn in a later chapter. I hope that it adds some depth.

Everyone stay home, stay safe.

The six campers were being lead by Kenji towards the Pent House. First, he was taking them to grab a couple of Segways. Using Brooklynn's card to power them up, he got on one, and the others got on a different one. "Prepare yourselves." he said. Darius noticed that he was starting to revert back to his pre-camp days. "You five are about to see the most exclusive spot on the entire island."

They all drove off. Kenji was leading, and had the most experiance with one of the Segways. The others were having a little trouble with it, since most of them have never even HEARD of a Segway, let alone SEEN one. Except maybe if they watched Mall Cop. Kenji was doing all kinds of tricks. Spinning circles around the group. "At the pent house, we travel in STYLE. Thanks to B's magic card, I am now able to show you my home... Away from home." he finished his monologue doing a trick around the group.

Darius looked at Brooklynn, and said, "I hope he falls on his face and gets run over by that thing." She got a quick laugh out of that. They weren't aware that something was following them though.

After a few minutes, they finally come across the tall building that they came across early on. "Welcome, friends... To Casa De Kenji!" the rich teen said.

Bumpy was the only one who didn't look impressed. As they followed Brooklynn to the entrance, Ben said, "No offence, but this place isn't really Bumpy's taste."

Kenji looked at him, kind of offended. "Yeah, no offence, but SHE is a two ton dinosaur who's going to trash my pad. Not happening anyways."

"You're sure that this is where we're going to find everything we need for the boat?" Darius asked. Because if this was a waste of time, he was going to be frustrated. He didn't want to tell the others that they needed to spend another few weeks looking for boating materials.

Kenji reassured him. "Trust me, my dad has TONS of nautical junk scattered around." That seemed to be enough for the rest of the teens.

"Alright people, as much as I would love to spend the day in a pent house, let's make this quick. Who knows how long the tape will last." Darius said. "We make this a quick job. Get in, relax for a few minutes, grab what we need, and get out."

Everyone got behind as Brooklynn took out the Magic Card. Once Kenji started calling it that, the rest of the group didn't fight it. They figured, it wasn't that dumb of a name if it could literally get into EVERYTHING on the island. So, in a way, it was like magic. Brooklynn looked behind at Darius, waiting for his call. He nodded, and she pressed the Magic Card against the scanner. After a few seconds, it beeped, and the light turned green. The six teens cheered.

Kenji took the lead and everyone else followed him to an elevator. The teen pressed the elevator button, but nothing happened. Not even the button lit up. In fact, a lot of the lights that were supposed to be on, weren't. That's when Ben pointed out, "Wait a second. If the elevator isn't working, then how come we were able to get past the entrance?"

"Security must be connected to a backup generator." Kenji said. "The whole building was built for a different purpose when my dad decided to invest in Jurassic World back in 2003. When he remodeled, he must have had the security gizmos run on a separate outlet." Everyone figured that made sense. Kenji sighed. "Looks like we're taking the stairs."

They found a stairwell, and they started running up. After the fifth story, they started to slow down. By the fifteenth floor, they had stopped running all together, and were slowly making their way up. Once they reached the top floor, which was floor twenty-three, they were out of breath, and crawling their way to the door. Kenji opened the door that entered the pent house suite, and everyone basically collapsed to the floor.

"Somebody... Please explain... How we can run... From killer dinosaurs... All day long... And STILL get our asses handed to us by stairs." Darius said.

"Sorry to force you all to go Kung Fu Panda." Kenji told the group. "If the elevator was working, it would have opened up on the inside." He pointed down the walkway, which revealed a huge living room. A fancy couch, a flat screen T.V., a balcony, a bunch of paintings of landscape, and potted plants scattered all over the place. As they walked further into the living room, they looked left and right, and saw MORE rooms. "Welcome my friends, to Case De Kenji. Who's up for the grand tour?" Everyone rushed past him to look at all the cool stuff he had been bragging about for the last year. At least to everyone it FELT like a year on this island. "Or there's the self tour. That too." he muttered to himself. At least they finally get to gush at it all.

Brooklynn lead Darius around the room. The first thing they stopped at was a triceratops skull. Made out of GOLD. "Darius, look at this!" Darius couldn't help but smile. "Have you ever seen so much gold in one place?"

"A gift from Masrani." Kenji said behind them. "I call it... Horatio."

Yaz came flying from the other room. "Guys! SNACKS!"

She tossed a bunch of bags of chips and popcorn at the other campers. "Um, IMPORTED snacks." They didn't care about that. It was a dry food! And a salty dry food. Unlike the canned fruit they've been eating for forever. They were grateful that they have been able to have something to eat for so long, but the dry snack pouches were treated like gold. For about 3.5 seconds.

The five teens tore open the bags, and just poured it in their mouths. How they MISSED salty, stale bagged snacks of popcorn. "I could eat ONLY this ALL the time!" Brooklynn said with a mouthful. Darius nodded in agreement.

Kenji came out again a second later with a bunch of water bottles. "Thirsty?" he asked. Yaz nodded. She reached for one of them, but he pulled one of them back. "Just so you all know, it's from an exclusive well from Paris, filtered through diamonds."

After milking the moment, Kenji finally gave Yasmina a bottle. She opened the cap, and Kenji's smile on his face grew bigger. She looked at him like he messed with the water, and waiting to see what happens. She put the bottle to her lips and started drinking. It's just water. I mean, it's going to taste like- When the fresh water hit her taste buds, Yaz had to do a double take. Kenji was still waiting for her to say something. Everyone else was looking at her as well. "That's NOT water." she said. "That's the closest thing I'm ever getting to heaven."

Kenji handed the others a bottle too, and they all had a similar reaction. Ben however, who was standing in the corner, looked at them like they have lost their minds. "They've all gone soft." he muttered to himself. "Hello? Guys? We're supposed to be looking for gas for the boat, some repairs, a GPS?" Ben almost yelled at them. "Any of this ringing a bell?" he asked them, very irate that they were enjoying a nice bottle of water.

"Relax dude." Kenji told him. The rich teen tossed him a water bottle. "Drink some." Ben unscrewed the cap, and sniffed it. Everyone rolled his eyes at how paranoid he was being all of a sudden. It's like he walked back into a building, let alone slept on an actual bed for the last who knows how long, and now suddenly he acts like he's never even heard of Wi-Fi. Ben put the bottle to his mouth, and took a big drink. He thought the same thing Yaz did. It's just water. Can't make it taste like rich people water. But when it touched his tongue, everyone saw how he tried not to suddenly collapse from happiness and satisfaction.

Everyone was asking Kenji a bunch of different stuff he had. And he had to admit, he was enjoying the attention. Another few minutes went by and they felt a loud thud and heard a roar coming from down below. Everyone went to the balcony, and saw Bumpy. The Ankylosaurs was smashing her tail on the ground repeatedly with her head pointed towards the building. "What's going on with her Ben?" Darius asked.

"She only does that when she senses danger or when she's got dino diarrhea." the Jungle Boy answered.

Brooklynn said, "Oh God. I can't believe this is a sentence I would need to say, but I hope it's the second one."

"It's probably nothing." Kenji said, not ready to leave.

The thought of danger brought Darius back more into reality and what they came here for. "We can't risk it. We've been here a lot longer than intended." Looking at their "host", Darius said, "You're sure your old man has a portable GPS up here?"

Kenji told him, "Yeah, SOMEwhere. But I haven't even shown you the Hot Tub yet. Sixty jets!"

Everyone started to ignore Kenji's wealth at this point. "I'll go down to the garage." Ben said. "If there is gas, or something to patch the boat, THAT'S where it's going to be."

He started walking towards the hall. "We're coming with." Yasmina said, volunteering her and Sammy.

Darius, Brooklynn and Kenji were going to stay at the Pent House suite to look for the GPS. At least, Brooklynn and Darius were going to. Kenji had gotten himself comfortable on one of the vibrating chairs, and pushed start. The gentle hum of the machine and Kenji's groans filled the sound. The rich teen sighed in content. "I caann feeel thee streessss drrrainniinnggg frromm mmy boddyy." he says out loud. "Yyoouu guuyyss ddonn'tt knnoww wwhhatt yyoouu arree missssiinngg. Arrree yyiouu SSUURREE yyoouu ddonn'tt wwanna trry thhiiss ouutt?"

Darius responded, "We're a little busy right now Kenj."

"Are you SURE that your dad has a GPS around here?" Brooklynn asked, getting frustrated at seeing him revert back to his stuck up and selfish ways.

"Ddaadd'ss nnoot bbiigg onn ssharringg deetaiils." the rich teen says. "Frreess mme upper to nnott swweatt thee smmall stufff. Orr anny stufff rreallyy." Kenji finished that last part with a hint of sadness. But they couldn't deal with his emotional neglect issues right now.

"Kenji!" Brooklynn said, getting his attention. "Does your dad have an office here we can check?"

He sighed, and turned off the chair. He fixed his hair, and put back on his smile. "Yeah. It's right through the hall right past the 20 seat Home... Theater." Darius and Brooklynn ignored him and went down the hall.

They entered the office, and looked around. Darius saw a telescope on a shelf. "Alright. We're getting there." He grabbed it, and put it in his pocket.

Brooklynn moved behind the desk, and gasped. "A compass! It's not a GPS, but at least we will be able to navigate."

Kenji finally walked into the room, and saw what she was holding. As Darius and Brooklynn were trying to get out of the room to look for more stuff, Kenji said, "Not just ANY compass. Rumor has it that it once belonged to-"

"Someone super fabulous." Brooklynn interrupted him, getting more irritated by the second with him. "We know." Kenji sighed and looked away as Darius followed her. Brooklynn suddenly stopped and caused Darius to hit her from behind. He grabbed her waist on accident, and quickly brought his hands back to his side. He was about to apologize, but he noticed what she was looking at. A nose was pushing the door open a little bit. What ever it was, it couldn't make up it's mind on what it wanted to do. The teens were too afraid to move. What if it was a predator? It probably smelled them and the others who went through the door. He just hoped that it decided to move on and-

"What is that?" Kenji loudly asked, breaking Darius's train of thought. The door swung open, revealing a meat eater. Thinking quickly, Darius and Brooklynn ran and flung the door shut. The predator had a long snout, so it was able to hold on for a little bit, but once Kenji helped push it, the nose couldn't take it anymore. The three teens sighed after Kenji locked the door. But they all jumped back when the predator banged against the wood, trying to bust through. Kenji looked at the crack in the door, and noticed a bunch of splinters broke. "This door is solid mahogany!" he exclaimed.

Darius had been too patient now. "We get it, you're RICH. Just help Brooklynn hold the door while I find something to barricade it." The older teen got up, and ran for the couch. He pushed it towards Kenji and Brooklynn quickly. He saw that the dino was getting through. Brooklynn and Kenji got out of the way and helped Darius shove the couch towards the door. Brooklynn helped keep it in place by shoving the book shelf that was near the door onto the couch, and Kenji helps by putting a flower pot on the couch.

The three teens went back to the living room, trying to decide their next move. "How are we getting out of here?" Kenji asks.

Brooklynn said, "What about the elevator?"

"The power is out. It's not going to work." Kenji told her.

"It doesn't have to work." Darius said, following Brooklynn to the Elevator doors. "We just have to climb down." Darius and Brooklynn began prying the door open. "Kenji, help us with this!" he yelled. Kenji stood still, and looked at the door, then his friends. "KENJI!" The dinosaur was almost through. The rich teen ran across the room to the coffee table, and grabbed a weird looking sculpture. Finally, the three teens were able to open the door, and saw a bundle of cable to grab onto.

"Where does this elevator lead to?" Brooklynn asked, suddenly thinking this was a bad idea.

"Who cares!" Kenji and Darius said at the same time. Brooklynn jumped and began sliding down. Darius and Kenji quickly followed her just in time to avoid the dinosaur.

The teens stopped sliding, finally getting a better grip. "You alright B?" Darius asked her.

"Yeah." she answered. "It's just been a while since I did rock climbing."

"Alright guys, just keep in nice and slow." Darius told them. He looked up, and saw Kenji still holding onto the sculpture. He shook his head, and continued to head down. They were making good progress, but there arms were quickly hurting. But they pushed through, and kept going, trying to not fall and die. Darius looked up again, and saw that Kenji was still taking his sweet time. "Faster Kenji!"

The teen groaned as he slid down, trying to keep the sculpture on his lap. Brooklynn groaned, and yelled at him, "Let go of the damn sculpture!"

"No way!" Kenji yelled back at him. "Think of Dad!"

"I couldn't give two shits about your dad!" Darius yelled at him.

Kenji defended himself. "Back off Darius! Not everyone grew up with a loving and supporting parent!"

"Both of you shut it, or I'm gonna-!" Brooklynn was interrupted by snarling. The three teens froze. "Where are they coming from?" They looked around, but didn't find anything. They were about to resume sliding when one of the vents next to Kenji shoved open and revealed one of the predators. A few seconds later, another vent slammed open in front of Brooklynn. She screamed, and lost her grip. She was able to get her grip back and slow down, but she still hit the elevator hard.

"Brooklynn!" Darius yelled, hoping she was getting back up. The dinosaur snarled down at the girl. Looking back at the dinosaur, Darius glared at it. He reached behind his back, and pulled out his gun. But the animal lunged at him, causing Darius to drop the gun below. With fear taking over him, he started to climb up towards Kenji.

Brooklynn had finally gotten up, and tried to pull on the emergency exit the elevator had. She saw the gun fall down in front of her, and she quickly picked it up, and pointed it up towards the dinosaurs. Darius was climbing up towards Kenji, who still didn't let go of the sculpture and was now hanging upside down! Two dinosaurs attacking her two friends. The problem was that she never shot a gun in her life. I might end up hitting Darius instead of the dinosaurs.

Turns out, going up wasn't the best idea for Darius. There was too much movement from Kenji, and he was having a hard time holding onto the cable. Darius looked down, trying to see if Brooklynn was okay. He saw that she was moving. He also saw that there was a handle that he could grab onto and climb down to her. Taking a chance, he pushed off, and freefell for a few seconds. His hands instinctively grabbed onto one of the pipes he touched. It took everything he had to not tumble down another few stories and land on the hard metal floor.

Looking back up, he saw that the dinosaur had jumped after him, and was close to landing on him. Darius quickly jumped to the wall on his right, and grabbed onto another pipe, avoiding the dinosaur. The meat eater tried to grab onto the pipe, but it fell, landing near Brooklynn. It was knocked out because of the impact, so that was good for her.

Darius was slipping. Kenji still refused to let go of the sculpture and actually be USEFUL. Looking down, he saw that the dinosaur was starting to stir and work through the pain. Without another thought, he jumped down, and aimed to land on the dinosaur.

The teen hit the dinosaur square on it's side. With the momentum, Darius rolled. His arms hurt like hell once he stopped rolling, but he was okay for the most part. Brooklynn helped him up, and gave him back the gun. The dinosaur roared in pain and in irritation. It quickly got up, and roared at the two teens, specifically at Darius. He shot one bullet at the animal, causing it to jump back. But all that seemed to do was make it madder. Looking back at Darius, it was about to jump, but Kenji's Captain Hat fell, blocking the animal's sight.

Taking this as a chance to open the elevator door, Brooklynn and Darius turned their backs. If this was how it ended, Darius would be pissed! He didn't risk everything to have his screams become elevator music. The door was beginning to open, but he heard the dinosaur roar again, meaning he had gotten the hat off. If he could give Brooklynn enough room to escape, then he would be fine. CRASH!

Darius and Brooklynn looked back, and saw that Kenji had let go of that ugly sculpture. He slid down, and moaned at the sight of the thing smashed to pieces. He picked up one of the bigger pieces, and his hat. He sighed in sadness, but Darius and Brooklynn were grateful that he did what he did.

SCREECH! The three teens jumped back, and Kenji used the big piece he had and Hulk Smashed that thing onto the dinosaur head. They used that as a chance to get out of the elevator. The door slammed shut, and they could hear the animal scratching at the door.

As they ran and took the stairs, Darius looked at Kenji and said, "You just Hulk Smashed that bitch! Nice!"

Kenji smiled with a chuckle. "I smashed it with Dad's Gaddi."

"I have no clue what the hell that is." Darius admitted and shrugged.

After breaking past the Main Entrance, the teens made a break to the boat. But they heard more snarls behind them. Darius once again took out his Glock, checked the ammo, and was ready for a fight.

BEEP BEEP! Turning their heads, they heard a car, more accurately, a LIMO pull up next to them. The door flung open revealing Sammy and Ben. Darius figured that Yaz was driving. "Get in you guys! Come on!" Sammy yelled.

The three teens jumped in. Darius turned around and saw a couple of dinosaurs were catching up to them. He fired one shot in the leg of the one closest to them. It stumbled and screeched in pain. Darius took that as a sign that it was down. Suddenly, Bumpy came out in front and rammed her tail at the second predator.

Ben stood up and poked his head out of the sunroof. "Let's go Bumpy!" The Good Dinosaur turned around and ran right next to the Limo.

Darius quipped, "When we get to the Main Land, I am DEFINANTLY keeping the Limo. You guys can fight over the yacht."

(BROMANCE!)

Once they were back at the boat, they took a few minutes to catch their breath. Kenji stood at the wheel for the yacht. Darius came in behind him. He hated this room, but that wasn't going to stop him from comforting his friend.

"Hey man." Darius said. "How are you doing?"

"I'm just... thinking about before." Kenji answered him.

Darius asked, "About your mom? I've been thinking about mine a lot lately."

"I just wanted to show you all a good time before we left the Island." Kenji said. "Sammy found a picture I drew when I was little. Back when I had friends. I felt like I was 7 again."

Darius told him, "We are your friends. And, we DID have a good time. And then we got attacked by dinosaurs. Again. And, we're not little kids any more. We don't care about your fancy stuff. We like you for who you are."

Kenji scoffed. "Yeah right."

Darius returned the scoff. "Yeah. RIGHT. Dude, you literally contribute a lot to the group. You're the comic relief that the group needs. Without you to annoy us to death, we would be ripping each other apart. You're loyal, and you've got a badass beard." Kenji started to smile. "Obviously, not as badass as MINE, but yours is a close second." They shared a small laugh. "I'll be up front. When I met you, I thought that you were the WORST. I hated your personality. But now, I see you as the cousin I never had. If I didn't have a brother, you would fill that roll."

"You view me as family?" Kenji was shocked at this a little bit.

"Hey, don't think that makes you special. I view EVERYONE here as family." Darius teased.

Kenji decided to jab back at him. "You view Brooklynn as your sister? That's pretty messed up bro."

Darius laughed at that. "Okay, maybe not EVERYONE as family." They stood in silence for a second, when Darius said, "Come on. Let's take care of the hole."

(end of bromance)

By morning of the next day, the six teens found something to plug the hole with. A plastic lunch tray was what they decided on. They used the Sealant that Sammy, Yasmina and Ben found in the garage. They were also going to use the duct tape that they were saving. "It won't be pretty, but at least it should be water tight." Brooklynn told them as Darius put on the sealant.

They all held their breaths as Darius let go of the tray. After a few seconds, they all breathed a sigh of relief. "I can't believe this is happening. We're going home!" Sammy said. Everyone started to cheer with her.

"I've got the duct tape!" Brooklynn said.

"Hold it!" Darius yelled. Everyone looked back at him. He was looking at the Sealant bottle. "Always read the fine print. We've got to wait another 48 hours for it to be set. THEN we can put the duct tape."

Everyone groaned. Kenji however, wasn't fully convinced. "Please, they have to put that on for insurance and junk." He moved Darius out of the way. "As your captain, I now pronounce this vessel sea worth-" CLUNK clatter. The tray fell off as Kenji tapped the surrounding area. He picked up the tray, shoved it into Darius's hand. "I've got some Captain stuff to do... over there."

Darius sighed, and Brooklynn went to his side. "One more time." she said. The group had suddenly lost interest. Ben and Yaz followed Kenji for no reason, but Sammy came up behind them.

"Hey Brooklynn, can we talk for a sec?" the Texas girl asked.

"Kind of in the middle of something." Brooklynn answered.

Sammy nodded. "I know. But I really have to talk about something... personal."

As soon as the word "personal" came out of Sammy's mouth, Brooklynn let go of the tray, making Darius drop it again. "Spill EVERYTHING." Brooklynn grabbed Sammy's shoulders, and led her up the dock.

Darius just looked back, and saw that he was alone. I will NEVER understand why girls get SO interested when something becomes personal. The teen sighed, and picked up the tray, and finished the job himself. He smiled at himself, and walked back up the dock. He saw that Kenji was throwing coins at some Compys. "Wwwwhat are you doing?"

Kenji answered, "I snagged a bunch of quarter packets from the Pent House. The Compys disappeared to this East Dock, and the best way to keep the Compys away is this. They love money, so like my Dad always says, 'If you've got a problem, throw cash at it.'" The rich teen kept throwing quarters.

"You mean, they love shiny stuff." Darius said, thinking that Kenji would at least know full well that dinosaurs that were brought back to life over 10 years ago wouldn't understand how money and currency works.

"Same diff." Kenji just shrugged.

"Dude, there is NO way that this DOESN'T end bad. Because bad is how it's going to end." Darius tried to reason. "You know what you get when you feed a pigeon?"

"A fat pigeon?" Kenji asked, completely oblivious to just how serious the situation was getting.

"MORE pigeons." Darius groaned. "You get MORE pigeons." Instead of just one or two Compys interested, there were now five in front of them, and several more in the bushes.

Kenji laughed. "Then it's a good thing I am rich." He tossed more and more quarters. The Compys were running away, but more kept coming out of the bushes.

"Dude, you're making this SO much worse." Darius said, starting to panic. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw that a Compy had moved into Kenji's blind spot. And right in front of her was the most important thing they needed. "The compass!" Darius said too late. The animal had gotten ahold of it, and jumped down.

Kenji started to realize his mistake, and said, "Heyyyyyy. Give that back. I'll give you two quarters for it." He flung them out into the bushes, hoping that would get her attention off the compass.

It didn't even move it's head. Darius whispered, "Walk towards her slowly." They took one step, and the Compy bolted away. The two teens wasted no time in chasing after it. They ran past Ben and Yaz and Bumpy. "Be back in a bit you two! Yaz, you're in charge!" Darius shouted.

Ben looked at Yaz, and said, "You better chase after them."

"Why?" Yasmina asked. She was in the middle of an interesting conversation with Ben. She didn't really WANT to follow them.

"Because for whatever reason, they are running AWAY from the boat." Ben reasoned. Yaz got the idea. "I'll hold down the fort. Get after them."

Yaz smiled, and ran as fast as she could. The boys had a head start, but she was able to make up the ground quickly. "Hey Dumb and Dumber!" Darius and Kenji turned their heads. "What's the drill?"

Darius pointed towards the Compy in front of them. "THAT is the drill! Dumber over here decided to toss coins at the Compys!"

"I didn't realize that she would take the compass!" Kenji said.

Yasmina groaned. "Dingus! Do you know what happens when you feed a pigeon?"

"I do NOW!" Kenji answered.

They chased the little Compy for about an hour and a half. Darius was impressed at their stamina and their speed! Kenji had definitely improved. When they first were stranded, the first few weeks of running, you could hear everyone become out of breath. Even Yaz. Now, they were able to run faster and longer. They still couldn't run as fast as Yasmina, since she was basically the female version of Marshawn Lynch, but everyone's fitness has improved. I guess there's ONE benefit of being stranded on a dinosaur island.

After chasing, a small game of Keep Away, and some more chasing, the Compys finally lead them to a building. The three teens stopped, and looked at where they were. It took Darius a few minutes, but he suddenly realized. "Guys, welcome to Jurassic Park." The old Visitors Center. After over twenty years of abandonment, the nature had reclaimed what it once lost. Instead of grey concrete, the jungle had covered the entire place with bushes, tree branches, and grass and moss were covering the steps. It was an amazing site to see.

Well, except for Kenji. "Nope. No way. We should NOT be here."

"Why?" Darius asked.

"Because this place is cursed." Kenji explained. "Bad things have happened here."

Darius raises his eyebrow. "As opposed to the rest of the Island?"

"Exactly." Kenji said, thinking that summed up the answer.

Darius groaned and looked at Yasmina. "Please tell him that he is being ridiculous."

"Darius is right." Yaz said. "It's haunted."

"What?" Darius was starting to get confused. It was almost like everyone was going crazy.

"The original park owner broke is ankle on those very steps. A couple of feet later, he was eaten alive by the Compys." Darius couldn't tell if she was just messing with Kenji, who was starting to whimper. "And since the Compys are nesting here, it's proof that the Compys are still blood thirsty."

"Bullshit." Darius said. "John Hammond died of natural causes. Where did you hear THAT shit?"

"Read it somewhere." Yasmina said with a straight face. "I'm pretty obsessed with theme park deaths."

Darius rolled his eyes. "Yeah. Whatever. We need the compass." He took a few steps, and looked over his shoulder at the other teens. "If you guys want to believe ghost stories, fine. I'll meet you back at the boat."

This time, Yaz rolled her eyes. "Slow your roll hotshot." She pulled Kenji up the stairs with her. "We're coming with you." The three teens opened the doors and saw the Compys scatter. To the right above their head, a bunch of Compy nests were seen. And one of the Compys who ran into the nest dropped the compass. "How are we gonna get up there?" Yaz asked.

In front of them, there looked to be an unfinished pillar. Around the room, there was a dinosaur skeleton, probably a printing of the Rex. "We can climb on the pillar. The only problem is that it's like a ten feet jump. We need to find something to give us a few extra feet of leverage." The three teens looked around for a little bit. They eventually found a vending machine. Yaz and Darius started moving the machine.

Kenji got on the side, and reached in his pocket. "Hang on guys. I'm useless till I carbo load."

"Good to know that survival wasn't your motivation to be helpful this entire time we've been stuck here." Darius said. "And that all you really needed was twenty year old stale chips."

Kenji ignored him. "Yeah yeah. Just a sec." The rich teen put in a couple of quarters, and started waiting for the machine to give him the food he wanted. "Come on J4. Come onnn J4."

Yaz's voice said, "Dude. It's not even plugged in."

Darius and Yaz resumed pushing. "Aww. Those were my last three quarters." Kenji complained.

Once the machine was in place, Yasmina was the first to start climbing. "Come on guys, like this."

Darius and Kenji followed. After a few minutes of climbing, Yasmina was almost at the compass. A loud snarl was heard below them. They looked down, and saw a Raptor chasing a Compy. Darius was able to get a look at it's side. Blue. He had decided to give her that name because of the blue stripe on her side. The Raptor looked around the room. Darius was SURE that she knew they were here. Yasmina decided to take a chance, and climb up towards the nest. She had gone high enough that she could reach it. Her fingers slid the object closer to her, but she lost the little grip she had. The compass freefell towards the head of the Raptor right underneath her!

But Darius was able to catch it just in time. Blue looked around the room, and Darius was afraid that she had heard the noise. The animal let out a low growl, and turned it's direction around towards the vending machine. The teens heard her screech and bite down on an unlucky prey. Blue came around the corner a few seconds later, and carried the dead Compy into a different area, possibly her nest.

Yaz and Kenji were heading down, but Darius said, "No, wait." They looked at him with confusion. "That's one of the Raptors from our first night at Camp. If she's living here now, she MUST have smelled us. A Raptor has an amazing sense of smell, so why wouldn't she attack us?"

Yasmina ignored his warning. "Darius, it's gone. Let's get out of here before it comes back." She jumped, and Kenji followed. Darius's gut didn't like this, but he jumped down as well.

They started walking towards the door, but they heard a growl. They turned around, and Blue stepped out of the shadows. Yasmina and Kenji gasped, and Darius muttered, "Clever girl."

CLIFFHANGER. HAHA. And on my FIRST chapter back too. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be working on an outline for a bunch of Batman Fanfics. They will mainly focus on the Bat Family, and it will show how Ben Affleck's Batman got to how he did in BvS, which I think is a decent movie, but I understand why a lot of people don't like it. I'll still be updating this story as soon as possible. Have a good day, stay home, stay safe.
