What if it had been Obi wan ,Plo Koon, Shak ti and Yoda who went to confront and arrest Palpatine. While Anakin stayed put at temple and therefore never turned to the darkside. But instead ended up helping try to save the other Jedi and died trying to protect the younglings in the council when the clones attacked. what if Qui gon and the force gave him a chance too change things .

7. Chapter 7:A new home

An Hour later Anakin Arrived Back At His Ship.

"So what happened with my younger self how did it go ? Is he going to stop chasing us and stop trying to retrieve Obi wan?" Force ghost Qui gon asked as Anakin walked up the landing ramp.

Anakin smirked at the force ghost Qui gon as he scooped up Obi wan off the floor and said " he's going to continue to look for officially, but he's not going to be looking for him anywhere near Tatoonie or the outer rim planet's ".

"Tatoonie ? but don't you hate Tatoonie ?" The force ghost asks him . Anakin sighs and gives ghost Qui gon a sad , resigned smile and says" I did but it's the only place that the republic and Jedi don't have any jurisdiction ".

Anakin now put Obi wan back his seat and buckled him in and then he sat in the pilot's chair and plotted a course to Tatoonie .

3 Days Later On Tatoonie

Anakin landed the ship at the space port at Mos Espa. "Well here we are home Sandy home" he told little Obi wan as he unstrapped him and carried him down the landing ramp and out into the busy space port.

Obi wan bounced up and down in Anakin's arms babbling happierly in a way that only other babies understand.

Anakin smiled at him and said " well I had better see if I can get us some where to live hadn't I ". Obi wan just giggled and made a grab at Anakin's hair.

" oh no you don't " Anakin muttered as he caught Obi wan's little hand in his own before the little boy could grab a hold of a hand full of his hair.

6 Months Later

"Hey Luke do you think that you could take a look at my swoop bike for me after ,your done fixing that speeder as It is playing up and I can't figure out what is wrong with it " his friend Kit asked him.

Anakin sighed and said what did you to it this time Kit? I only fix it last month?" Kit just gave him a look that said that Anakin or Luke has Kit knew him was asking a silly question.

But then Kit replied "bike race " arh I see Anakin said "Well give me a couple of days and I'll have it back up running ready for the next time you crash it" Anakin told him.

"Thanks Luke I owe one "kit said as a crash followed by the sound of a small child crying and his face paled and ran pass him to the side of house . A moment later Kit saw Luke come back around the side of the house with his 16 month old little brother Ben on his hip.

The little boy was clinging to Luke and shaking and crying. As Luke tryed too calm him down , "what happened " kit asked his friend Luke sighed and sighed and said some one thought that playing in shed would be fun and gave himself and my a scare."

Ten minutes later Anakin bid Kit good bye and then Turn and walked back to the house with a still teary eyed and sniffing Obi wan still balanced on his hip.

The moment that he entered the house and closed the door Anakin dropped his calm act and yelled "QUI GON ! WHERE ARE YOU KRIFFING USELESS FORCE GHOST! I WANT A WORD WITH YOU!"
