Back On The Ship And Heading Out Of Mandalorian Space An Hour Later.
"So are you going too tell me what the kriff was going on back there!? and who in Siths hell was the man who was trying too follow you Luke ?" Obi wan/ Ben asked his brother as he joined Anakin/ Luke in the pilots cabin.
Anakin sighed and leaned back in the pilot's chair closing his eyes for a moment as he realised that he was going to have to tell Obi wan/ Ben the truth about Qui gon , the Jedi and himself sooner rather than later.
If he was to have any hope in preventing the horrific future that had taken place in his original time line, he would have to make sure that both his younger self and Obi wan did not fall into either the Jedi's hands or fall to Palpatine's control !
Even if that meant that he and Obi wan wouldn't be Jedi in this time line ,Anakin was not going too allow anything or anyone to drive him and Obi wan ever again not this time around! and that meant that there could be any secrets or lies now!
That meant that Obi wan/ Ben needed to be told why they were running and who was chasing them and why,No more lies, no more secrets , No more Jedi code, No more empire ! Not this time around Anakin thought too himself.
Ben sat in the co pilot's chair watching his brother Luke seemed be having some kind of internal conversation with him self over why they had to leave , Mandalore so quickly when that Jedi had showed up .
" So are you going to tell me why we had to leave so suddenly and who it is we are running from! Luke and why ? " Obi wan/ Ben asked again. "Okay I'll tell you everything but you have to promise me that you will listen to everything and that you won't try and kill me until after I am done explaining okay Obi wan " Anakin told him.
"Wait who the kriff is Obi wan ?is it the guy that was following you on Mandalore Luke? "Obi wan/ Ben asked him now looking confused. Anakin shook his head and said softly " No your real name isn't Ben Lars it's Obi wan Kenobi and my real name is Anakin Skywalker not Luke Lars' and we' re not brothers we'll not by blood a least" Anakin added sadly.
"W...what ! "Obi wan/ Ben said now staring at Anakin now, looking and sounding upset Anakin closed his eyes for a moment and swallowed oh kriffing hell he hated this, he hated that Obi wan was probably going to hate him for lieing too him for most of his life , not to mention the fact that you kidnapped him and took him away from his mother when he was a baby Anakin thought to himself.
Anakin sighed and said " Obi wan please just listen and listen I'll answer all your questions later but for now just let me explain 'we were best friends in our last life , we were also Jedi knights Anakin paused for a moment then he added infact you were the one who looked after me and pretty much raised me after our master was killed by a Sith on Naboo when I was nine." He is
Anakin glaced at Obi wan to see how he was taking that news , and then continued by saying 'after master Qui gon died you became a knight and took me on as your Padawan and taught me how to be a good Jedi knight , well you tried too I wasn't always the easiest person too teach or to get along with particularly as I got older' Anakin said now with a sad smile.
At this Obi wan / Ben said " so let me see if I have this right you want me too ,believe that Anakin sighed and replied whether you believe me or not Obi wan it's the truth .
" Okay then how did we did we quote unquote die then I guessing we did die as your claiming that we were both Jedi knights in our last lives"Ben / Obi wan added, 'actually only I was a knight you were a master and high council member Obi wan ,Anakin replied .
Obi wan / Ben's blue / grey eyes went wide with surprise on hearing this and said " I out rank you ? In our past lifetimes !" Anakin nods and adds well you were about 16 standard years older than me Obi wan! Anakin sighed and rolled his eyes at him.
This was Anakin hated having to be the adult this time around because now he knew exactly how Obi wan had felt having deal with a over confident , arrogant little know it all of a younger brother just as obi wan had , and Obi wan / Ben was enjoying the whole roll reversal deal a little bit too much for Anakins liking.
