What if it had been Obi wan ,Plo Koon, Shak ti and Yoda who went to confront and arrest Palpatine. While Anakin stayed put at temple and therefore never turned to the darkside. But instead ended up helping try to save the other Jedi and died trying to protect the younglings in the council when the clones attacked. what if Qui gon and the force gave him a chance too change things .

11. Chapter 11: No I Won’t Do It Qui gon!

A Few Days Later On ,The Ship Is Now Parked On Tatoonie

"NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT QUI GON ! I WON'T DO IT! AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" Ben / Obi wan heard Luke/ Anakin shout from the pilots cabin ( stars alive will I ever get used to the fact that I m really Obi wan Kenobi and Luke is actually Anakin Skywalker! ) he thought to himself as he headed in direction that the shouting was coming from.

"Anakin! it's the will of the force don't you want too stop the future that happened in your time from ever happening?" Ben / Obi wan heard their resident force ghost say now.

Oh Stars that was another thing that he was going to have to get used to with ,Anakin and Qui gon's travelling back in time there now two Qui gon's and two Anakins oh force help us Ben /Obi wan thought to himself.

One of each of them was quite enough for Ben / Obi wan never mind the fact that, one of the Qui gon's is a force ghost and one of the Anakins is currently barely a year old at the moment Ben / Obi wan thought as he entered the Pilot's cabin .

As he did he heard Anakin say "Qui gon I am not going to kidnap my younger self it's bad enough that I kidnapped, Obi wan I won 't kidnap another child I can't even if it is only my younger self Qui gon".

"Then the Galaxy and the future are doomed Anakin!" The force ghost said sadly, " I ' ll do it Qui gon if Anakin can't " Ben/Obi wan said as he stepped into the room.

Anakin and Qui gon's force ghost stared at him blankly in surprise, " Wh... what !" Anakin stammered in shock while force ghost Qui gon continued to stare at he like he had grow a second head.

Obi wan sighed and rolled his eyes and said " don't look at me like that it's the only way to stop the bad things that happened in your time line isn't? Besides it's not like I d actually have to kidnap Little Anakin " Obi wan told them.

" How do you figure that? " Anakin asked him Obi wan sighed and said " you and your mother are slaves at this point time correct? " yeah but I ' m only about 1 standard year old in this time line so what are you getting at Obi wan! Anakin asked him.

" Well correct me if I'm wrong Anakin but your mother would want the current little you to have a way out of being a slave wouldn't she ?" Obi wan said.

" Yes of course she would " Anakin said now " well then we don't need to kidnap baby you Anakin , we just need to find out where where you and your mother are at this point in the time line and who currently owns you , and then I could talk your mother and persuade her that you will have better with us " Obi wan said.

Anakin sighed and said " I don't remember who owns us in this time line , so how are we going to find out that information " Qui gon smiled sadly and said " I think I know where we can start looking ".

A Few Days Later On Nahutta

Ben/Obi wan stood out side the door to the small house that He and Qui gon had tracked down Anakins mother to,and now it was up to Obi wan to persuade Shimi Skywalker that her 1 year old son would be better off with him , Anakin and force ghost Qui gon .

Rather than with her in slavery for another 8 years no mean feat Obi wan thought to himself but it was what was best for Anakin's younger self in the long run, Obi wan / Ben just hoped that Shimi would listen too him as he raised his hand too knocked on the door.

Meanwhile Back On The Ship

Anakin was pacing back and forth between the rec room and the kitchen , " Did we do the right thing in sending Obi wan to talking to my mother Qui gon ? I mean he is only 16 , maybe I should have gone with him too talk to her" Anakin said.

The force ghost smiled sadly and said " Anakin stop worrying Obi wan has always been able too charm people ,into seeing things his way even as a teenager he has always had a way with him I'm sure that he'll be able to convince your mother that your younger self is going have a better life with us ".

Anakin sighed and said "I hope your right Qui gon I really do because you are so fond of telling me lately , the future of Galaxy and the republic is riding on it".

Meanwhile Back At Shimi's home

Obi wan / Ben was sitting in the living room with Shimi trying to convince her that little Anakin would have better life himself and Anakin on Tatoonie as force user than on nahutta as slave with her.

So far he hadn't managed to convince her in-fact he was starting to think that maybe he should have brought Anakin / Luke with him to help convince her , as he didn't seem to be doing a very good job of doing so alone Ben / Obi wan thought himself.

But as he was about to get up and leave Shimi said softly " if I let you take Ani with you do you promise that he'll grow up free and have the chances you talked about Ben? " Obi wan nodded and said " yes he ' ll be free and he'll get every chance to be the best that he be" he replied .

Anakin's mother nodded and told Obi wan that she would allow him to take Anakin to be trained as a force user , and she headed to Anakin s room too get him and pack the toddlers things for the journey.
