Back again! Hope y'all are having a good day, stay home, stay safe.

(Six months ago.)

Brandon watched the news. It was something that he never did before, but here he was. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I'm David Muir. Thank you so much for tuning in with us. We are receiving breaking news about Jurassic World. Sources telling us that the park suffered a terrible series of dinosaur attacks. More details later tonight, including the news about six missing campers."

Uncle Josh and Brandon cried hard that night.

Brooklynn's fathers saw the news the next morning.

Yaz's mother pushed herself into work, distracting herself from the pain of losing her only child.

Ben's mother blamed herself. Had she not pushed him to face his fears, he would still be with her. Her marriage strained. Her husband, even though he told her she didn't blame her, grew more distant.

Kenji's father turned to the drink again. It was how he dealt with his wife's death. It was how he was going to handle his son's death. A month afterwards, he had drank all the Scotch in his house. That meant he was done. He still had a company to run. He was a business man after all.

Sammy's family mourned. Her parents took it hard the most. If it wasn't for their financial troubles, and their under the table deals, Sammy wouldn't have gone. Her family's debt with Mantah Corp had been paid. That was one of the terms Sammy had mentioned she wanted in her contract. If, for whatever reason, she was pronounced dead, her family's debt would be complete. They agreed.

(Present)

Brandon was in class. He was getting ready to graduate in a few weeks. He wished his brother was here to see him. He would love to have one last fight with him. He had already finished with his test in class. A fairly easy test. He just decided to put his hoodie up, and listen to music. It was probably a good ten minutes later, that he heard the class erupt into commotion. He took out his earbuds, and looked around the room. The teacher had them quiet down. Once everyone was settled, Brandon wondered why everyone was staring at him. "Okay guys. What?"

His best friend told him, "Check CNN!"

Brandon took out his phone, and checked the CNN website. "-those of you who are just joining us now, we are receiving live information about six kids suddenly showing up at the San Jose International Airport. They were taken to a hospital moments later. We have one of our camera crew checking on them right now. As you can see, they look no older than seventeen, and the youngest, a boy with a white tank top, looks maybe fourteen. You can see that the oldest, who reportedly had a gun on him, is getting his chest cleaned up. His scars are a mystery. We are trying to identify them now." The camera widened to get a full shot of the teenager getting his chest cleaned.

Brandon gasped at who it was. "D-Darius?" He broke down in tears. His brother, who had been thought to be dead for six months, had made it back. The whole classroom knew who Darius was. He was their starting quarterback. Future NFL superstar. At least that's what everyone said. "Oh thank you God. You brought my brother back safely!" The whole school got to talking. A few hours later, it was the talk of the town.

The six teens had been taken into the airport, and were escorted by Costa Rican police to a hospital. They couldn't believe it. They were safe. They were now almost home. They had received medical care. The campers refused to leave each other's sides. It was fine for now. An American officer made his way to the hospital once he found out that not only were they the campers from Jurassic World, but were also Americans.

He and his partners went into the room they were all sitting in. The Costa Rican officers had been guarding Darius. He was the one in possession of a weapon unregistered to him. Not to mention, he was a minor carrying around a Glock 17. The American excused the Police. "Are you the six campers who were reported dead on Nublar six months ago?"

Darius spoke up. "Yeah. We are."

"Hi." The man put his hand towards Darius. "I'm Officer Jones. I work at the American Embassy. These are my fellow officers. We're here because, frankly, it's a little bit of a story that six kids managed to survive six months on a dinosaur inhabited island."

Darius shook his head. "Trust us, we're still trying to wrap our heads around it too."

Officer Jones looked at Darius. "There is also the matter of a minor carrying around an unregistered Glock 17 on foreign soil." Darius was about to ask what that meant, but the man answered, "It basically means we're battling out who gets custody of you. But don't worry, we're working out a deal to get you six back into America."

Darius nodded his head. "Sir. Would now be a good time to cash in my one phone call?"

Officer Jones thought for a second. "Well son, you're a born American. The six of you have been legally pronounced dead for six months, but your birth place always stays the same. I don't think you're going to need a lawyer."

Darius shook his head. "No, for my family. I want to talk to my brother."

Jones nodded. "Here." He reached in his pocket, and handed Darius his phone after unlocking it. "You all can use my phone. We'll wait right here."

Darius shakily pressed the buttons. His brother's number appeared. He took a deep breath, and pressed call. The phone rang three times. "Hello?"

Oh god. "Brandon?" Darius shakily asked.

"Darius?" his older brother couldn't believe it. "It's really you?"

Darius laughed with tears running down his face. "Yeah. Yeah, it's me man."

One by one, the teens called their families. They sat in their room, waiting for Officer Jones to tell them they would be able to go home. He and his fellow Officers came in a minute later. "Great news. You're ALL cleared to come home to America. They do want you to make a full recovery here for a few days before we send you back. It has to do with a bunch of legal stuff that's above my pay grade. BUT, when it's time to leave, you all will be given new clothes, and be sent on a flight to Washington D.C." Everyone gasped and awed at that. "So, I will be back in a couple of days. Stay out of trouble, and relax. Okay? You guys deserve to rest."

Against protest, the teens were forced into their own rooms. They were told that their rooms were right next to each other. That was good. But Darius was having troubled falling asleep. He has gotten so used to night watches. Sleeping on a couch that was as hard as a rock. Hearing the sound of dinosaurs and bugs. Seeing the night sky. The bed he was in was too comfortable. It was just like the movie said. Feels like I'm about to fall into a marshmallow.

The door opened with a small creek. Darius looked towards the door to see who it was. "Darius?" Brooklynn whispered. "Are you awake?"

Darius replied, "Yeah." Brooklynn got into the room, and shut the door quietly. The six kids had been changed into hospital scrubs. Her pink jacket though, she still wore.

She walked over to his bed. "This is going to sound weird, but... Can you... Scoot over?"

Darius was confused for a second. "What?"

Brooklynn shook her head. "You know what? Never mind. I'll just go back-"

Darius grabbed her wrist as she walked away. "No. Sorry, um... It's not weird at all. I could use some company." The older teen moved himself over, giving Brooklynn enough room. The girl climbed in, and laid next to him. "Can't sleep either?" he asked her.

Brooklynn shook her head. "Too soft. Too bright. Too quiet."

Darius nodded. "I've gotten used to night watches. I've been staring at the clock on the wall waiting for it to strike 12." They saw that the clock was only at 10:37.

"I think that tomorrow, they're going to put us on IV units." Brooklynn said.

Darius shrugged. "Makes sense. Haven't had a good meal in months. You can only go so far on canned fruit."

"I'm afraid of needles." Brooklynn admitted.

"Well, I'm afraid of being hooked up to wires." Darius said.

After a few minutes of silence, Brooklynn sighed. "I'm not ready to let go of this." she told him.

Darius looked at her. "What do you mean? We're still going to be able to talk to each other. We live in 2016. It's not like the Old West when you had to write letters to someone over long distances."

She nodded her head. "I know. I'm just... Not sure if I'll be okay with not seeing you every day. I know that sounds dumb, but I didn't even see Sammy every day."

Darius fought to not breath in sharply. He used his right hand to comb her hair. "Well, we can schedule times to talk. Just you and me." Brooklynn smiled. "You can tell me about what new and exciting place you'll be unboxing."

"You can tell me what endless amount of homework you have due the next day." Brooklynn smirked.

Darius had another idea. "And I will be able to introduce you to my brother when we get to D.C."

"And I will be able to introduce you to my dads." Brooklynn said, her eyes twinkling in excitement.

They shared a smile. "Can't wait." Darius assured her. They laid their heads back down. Darius heard her snore softly a few minutes later. He smiled, and slowly felt himself drift off to sleep.

Darius woke up at his usual time. 5:45. He tried to prop himself up, but was stuck. He looked, and saw Brooklynn. He remembered that she came in last night. He noticed that they had gotten themselves in quite an awkward position. Her arms had wrapped around his neck and chest. He was holding onto her waist with his own arms. He felt some drool on his neck where he assumed her mouth was. Then he noticed another thing. He felt one of her legs had gotten between his. His eyes widened, but quickly calmed down when he didn't feel Little Richard hard or wet. Thank God. THAT would have been embarrassing for ME, and traumatizing for HER.

He decided that the best way to handle this was that she needed to get back to her room before the nurse checked on her. But he couldn't wake her up with HIM awake. Then she would be embarrassed. He quickly came to the conclusion that he should pretend to be asleep, and move around enough so she would wake up, and hopefully, book it out to her room.

Darius closed his eyes, and started to move around. He made sure to move her as well. He couldn't risk opening his eyes, so he hoped that if he did it enough times, she would wake up. He felt her stir. FINALLY. She groaned, and gasped slightly. Darius was going to assume it was because she had found herself half on top, half on the side of him. He didn't open his eyes as he felt her get off his chest, and heard her footsteps run out of the room. He waited another few seconds before opening his eyes. Damn. Now I'm cold.

A few days later, the six teens were on a flight to D.C. It was exciting. Getting back to the States, let alone getting home. Officer Jones and a couple of his partners were scattered through out the First Class cabin. Oh yeah, this is also Darius's first time flying First Class. The chairs were MUCH better here than they were in Basic. Kenji and Sammy sat on one row, Ben and Yaz on another, and Darius sat with Brooklynn. "So, what are we expecting?" she asked. "The cat's gotta be out of the bag now. Six campers surviving for six months on a dinosaur island is a story that would be hard NOT to tell."

Darius thought for a minute. "I think we can expect reporters, every newspaper in the country. It's gonna be pretty brutal." The older teen looked over his shoulder at the officer escorting them. "Hey, Jones?" The man looked at him. "Are we gonna meet our families at the airport? Or are they coming later?"

Jones explains, "Everyone's families, besides Brooklynn's here, have already made it to D.C. Her parents are going to be about an hour ahead of us. You're going to be able to meet your families when you get off the plane." With that, the man decided to go to sleep again.

Darius looked back ahead. Their flight would be landing in a few hours. "What's the first thing you're gonna do after you hug your family?" Brooklynn asked.

"There are TWO things I want to do." Darius answered. "The first one is get a Big Mac and chicken nuggets."

He paused for a second. Brooklynn looked at him, waiting for him to continue. "And the second one?"

"The second one... I am still deciding if it's a good idea." Darius admitted.

Brooklynn sighed pouted. "So mysterious all the time." Darius shook his head. He reached in his pocket, and pulled out a couple of headphones and a dual adapter. "Where did you get those?" she asked with a smile.

"I snagged the headphones from Kenji when he wasn't looking." Darius admitted. "And I bought the dual adapter before boarding the plane." He plugged it into the screen in the middle of the seat. "So, what do you wanna watch?" They eventually decided on watching Pirates of The Caribbean. They had a good time. When the movie ended, they decided to get some rest for the last hour and a half.

The plane landed, and the teens were quick to get off. They had nothing to carry, so that made it easier. They were met with a couple of government agents. FBI?

"Hey kid." Darius looked back at Officer Jones. "Good luck." They shook hands.

"Thank you sir." Darius said.

Jones smiled. "Well, I've gotta get on another flight back. You take care of them."

"Yes sir." Darius walked back to his group of friends. The agents walked them out of the airport.

"We know that you kids will be excited to see your family after so long. But we have to ask you to not run towards them." one of the agents told them. "We don't want you getting lost in the swarm of reporters that will ALSO be there."

They nodded. A few minutes later, they were walking down the terminal. A group of people on the bottom were also with F.B.I. agents. Darius didn't recognize any of them, except two. Josh? Brandon?

He was on the verge of tears. He noticed the others had spotted their families, and were about to cry as well. When they all met in the middle, everyone lost it. Darius hugged his uncle and his brother. When they let go, nobody knew what to say. Brandon spoke up a few seconds later. "So, how was camp?" They laughed, and hugged each other again. "We thought you were gone."

Darius sighed. "You know that I would never leave until I could kick your ass."

Josh told him, "You have no idea what happened. There was a whole funeral and everything."

Brand continued, "You missed the championship game. The team pulled a Sean Taylor. First play, running back threw it to me. I even have the ball."

Darius smiled. "Well, now I feel bad that I've come back from the dead. You're gonna have to give a lot of stuff back." Brandon shook his head.

"Darius! Darius!" The teen looked towards Brooklynn's voice. She was seen pulling over two men. He was going to assume those were her parents. She looked back at the two men. "These are my dads. Jake and Tim." She looked back at Darius. "This is Darius. He's the one who got us through everything."

Tim and Jake stepped forward. "God bless you. Thank you for bringing our daughter back."

"It wasn't just me. It was a group effort. I'm glad that she's back." Darius said. She turned towards his brother and uncle. "Um, Brooklynn, this is Brandon, and this is Uncle Josh. Guys, this is Brooklynn."

"It's nice to meet your Brooklynn." Brandon said.

Uncle Josh told her, "We're glad that everyone is back safe."

They would have talked more, but one of the government agents said, "I'm going to have to ask all the kids to come with us. Parents, we will have a separate unit escort you."

The teens were all confused. As Darius moved to walk with Brooklynn, Brandon grabbed his arm, and pulled him closer. "She's cuuuuuuuuuuute."

"Piss off, dipshit." Darius chuckled as he shook his head. "I'll see you later." A few minutes later, they were in the backs of SUVs. Brooklynn and Darius were in one, Yaz and Ben were in another, and Sammy and Kenji rode together. As they drove, Darius couldn't help but ask, "Where are we going?"

The agent in the passenger seat told them, "We're taking you to headquarters."

Brooklynn raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"We just have some questions to ask you." The passenger turned around after answering.

Darius and Brooklynn shared a look. Why are they going to question us?

He shrugged his shoulders. I dunno.

Brooklynn whispered in his ear, "Should we tell them that Sammy was sent to spy for Mantah Corp?"

Darius thought for a second. "I think we should be careful with what we tell them

This IS the FBI. I say we wait till THEY bring it up. No telling what they may try to spin our words into." Brooklynn nodded in understanding.

They pulled up to the FBI building, and were escorted in. A few minutes later, they were all sitting together in a room. Another agent in a suite came up to them. Darius assumed that might be one of the higher ups. "Hello kids. I just want to say that I'm glad that you're all here, safe and okay." Darius nodded. "I'm going to be leading the investigation on you six."

Darius asked, "What investigation?"

The man stepped forward. "Well, as much as we would like to believe you being here is as simple as that, I think we can all agree that it's not."

Darius was as respectful as possible. "Are you implying, sir, that my friends and I have somehow staged our experiance of living on a dinosaur island for six months, going through hell and back to get home?"

The man smiled, and looked at his clipboard. "Darius, right?" The teen nodded. "We just want to make sure we have all the facts. We're going to have you all interviewed by our fine investigators. If you cooperate, and answer our questions to the best of your ability, this will all be over soon." One by one, they were called into the interrogation room with the Officer. Darius and Brooklynn held hands for as long as possible. But it had to end as they were being pulled away. Darius sighed. The officer who he had questioned took him to another room. Once they had gotten settled, the man said, "Please state your first and last name, and date of birth."

Darius said, "Darius Bowman. January 20th, 1999."

"Please answer our questions to the best of your abilities. This is not a criminal investigation. This is just standard procedure when a person who goes missing for an extended period of time, or has been pronounced dead." the man said.

"Does it happen alot?" the teen asked.

"More often than one would think." the officer nodded with a sigh. "Now, can you please tell me, from the beginning, what happened December 19th, 2015 to the present?"

"We had made it to Nublar at about late afternoon. It was supposed to be a fun two weeks. We met our camp councilors, Dave and Roxie, and were taken to what would become our camp for our entire time on Nublar. After we picked our bunks, we were taken ziplining. It was fun. Later that night, I had gotten up to sneak out and find the Compy paddock. A Compy had gotten out earlier in the day, and had been taken back. I thought that was where it went."

"I had found Darius and Kenji talking. Darius told us that since we were all up, we were all going to get in trouble if we went to tell the councilors." Brooklynn told her investigator. "He asked if we were coming with him, and we followed."

"So, you followed him out of fear?" the officer asked.

The teen shook her head. "I'm a YouTuber. It was my job for a time. The idea of sneaking out and night shots were more appealing than fear. And he's never given me any reason to fear him. We got to the paddock, and started looking for the Compys."

"I had tried to take Brooklynn's phone and get her a couple of pics for her followers." Kenji said, cringing in his seat. "I ended up dropping the phone into the paddock. Unfortunately, when I went to grab her phone, it ended up NOT being the Compy pen. It was the raptor paddock. Darius jumped in after me to protect me, and we were saved by Dave and Roxie a few seconds later. We missed a trip to the lab because we jumped into the pen."

"I ended up shoveling Dino shit because I tried to save his dumb ass." Darius said. "And then I let him rope me into seeing a secret dinosaur. The only problem was we ended up being on the INSIDE of the carnivorous dinosaur paddock. We barely made it out alive."

"We've talked about that day for a long time now, and we STILL cannot believe that Kenji didn't get eaten." Brooklynn said.

After a few seconds of silence, the investigator said, "Fast forward to December 22nd. What happened that day?"

"Brooklynn lost her phone that day." Yaz said. "We were all pretty on edge with each other, so it was VERY easy for one of us to get mad each other. She started talking about how she knew someone had taken it. We were all getting irritated with her. Then we heard a dinosaur roar in the distance. We figured we would go check it out."

"And then you went with your councilors?" the man asked.

Yaz shook her head. "Uh, no. They had left to go talk to their boss. They had left us a note that they would be back soon, and told us to stay inside. They even left a way for us to call for emergencies."

Ben said, "We decided to check out the noise at the zipline tower. It was strange because there was nobody there. We figured they were on break. But we decided to go up anyways. Brooklynn used a bobby pin to pick the lock on the fence. It was pretty impressive actually. When we get to the top of the tower, we look for a few minutes. But two employees had yelled at us from the bottom of the tower. We didn't realize we were in any danger, and we couldn't hear them from so far up."

"That's when an albino dinosaur came out of the trees. It just... Appeared. Like it was invisible for a minute." Sammy said. After taking a second to catch her breath, she continued. "The dinosaur was called the Indominus Rex. It's not a real dinosaur. It was created by Doctor Wu. It attacked the tower we were on, and we took the zipline down. But we didn't make it. We fell about half way down. We landed on the trees, they cushioned our fall. When we finally came to, we ran to our camp. But the dinosaur had trashed it. After a few minutes of fighting, Darius stepped up to lead. He was the only one who seemed to be able to think in high stakes situations. He plays football for his high school, so I guess it made sense."

"We decided to head South. That would have put us right at the park. We survived multiple dinosaur attacks, and even escaped the Mosasaurs pool." Yas said. "After surviving another attack from the Indominus, we managed to get in contact with Dave and Roxie. We said that we would meet them at the boats. But, they weren't there. The Ferrys were all gone, evacuated with the rest of the island."

"After that, we spent two months trying to survive on our own." Brooklynn explained. "We thought that Dave and Roxie would find a way to help them. We WERE met with three people. There names were Mitch, Tiff, and Hap. While THEY all thought they were here to rescue us, I was able to get them to see that I was right. I'm still expecting an apology from Darius."

Darius looked straight at the interviewer. "To this day, Brooklynn will rub it in my face."

After a lot of extensive questioning, and wondering how Wu came into play in all of this, Sammy had finished telling her story. "Let's backtrack to this second mysterious dinosaur island. You said it was owned, or was operated by the bioengineering company, Mantah Corp?"

Sammy nodded. "When we came across Dr. Turner, we were very... distrusting of her initially. We found some papers on her desk, and I saw the Mantah Corp logo. And when we were attacked by the killer robots named BRADs, we knew that whatever Mantah Corp was doin' it was NOT good."

Then comes the question that Sammy had been dreading. "And why do you say that Mantah Corp is up to no good?"

Sammy took a deep breath. "Because... Mantah Corp sent me to spy for them. That's the reason why I was sent to Jurassic World. So I could give them information."

This caused the investigator to raise his head. "Did the others know about this? Because in everyone else's interviews, no one has mentioned this. So, did THEY have a hand in your corporate spying?"

Sammy shook her head. "No. I acted on my own will. It wasn't until after the Indominus Rex attack that I told them everything."

"Did you manage to steal anything?" the investigator asked.

"No." Sammy answered calmly. If Mantah Corp was willing to send a child to spy, what would stop them from having guys on the inside of everywhere else as well?

It would be another hour of questions. The parents or guardians of each child was allowed to wait with them. As Darius waited with Brooklynn, a man in a grey suite walked up in front of him. "Excuse me, are you Darius?"

The teen looked up to see the man's face. It sort of looked like Kenji's. "Yes sir." Darius and the man shook hands.

"I am Kenji's father, Daniel." the man said. Darius nodded. "I wanted to say thank you. Before sending him to the camp, I was having some doubts about him. How strong his will was, did he have what it took. I think that you changed him for the better. Thank you Darius."

Darius shook his head. "It was a group effort, Mr. Kon. In many other way, we helped each other. Kenji was a big help in getting us home."

Daniel held Darius's hand again. "Thank you Darius." The teen nodded his head, and Mr. Kon went back to sit with his son.

"That was nice of you." Brooklynn interrupted Darius's thought. Darius raised an eyebrow. "For saying that Kenji was a valuable member of the team."

They both smirked. "Okay, so maybe I wasn't COMPLETELY truthful. But at least they're back on track to a healthy relationship."

They watched as Kenji and Daniel were smiling. "Yeah. Again, very nice of you. Despite what you may be telling yourself, YOU got us out Darius." Brooklynn pointed to his chest with her finger. "YOU did."

Darius smiled at her. "Thank you." The two teens heald hands unconsciously.

Sammy came out of the room a little big later. And that was the end of questions for today. "Alright, thank you so much everyone for your cooperation. I believe you're free to return to your homes whenever you're ready."

All the parents and kids stood up. They were taking them back to the hotel. Brooklyn waited back and kept her parents at the back of the herd for a few seconds. As they walked to their rental cars, the fifteen-year-old said, "Dad, Pops, I started thinking." The two men looked down at her. "I want a baby brother. Or sister."

Tim said, "We can talk about it later if you would like. But you know that would cut into your YouTube career?"

Brooklyn nodded. "I've thought long and hard about it. And even if I have to give it up for a time, I'm willing to do whatever it takes."

Jake nodded his head. "Well, like your Pops said, we can talk about it later."

The girl nodded. "Oh, and one more thing." The men looked at her. "I think I want to move from the city in London."

This caught them off guard. The two men had been thinking about moving and talked about it for a while. "That's ANOTHER thing we can talk about later." Jake said.

"Where did you have in mind Brooke?" Tim asked.

Brooklyn said the first area that came in her mind. "You guys ever been to Montana?"

And THATS where I leave y'all. Haha! Okay, thoughts. I really want to go into the aftermath of this story. Only thing is, do I keep updating with THIS story, or start a whole new one? Let me know. Have a good day, stay home, stay safe.
