Back again with another chapter. I feel so bad for posting short chapter's these last few weeks. I'll try to drag this one on for too long that it needs to be.

Also, thanks for the 20,000 reads. I'm happy with this. Enjoy, stay home, stay safe.

Two days before the attack

Darius and Brooklynn were talking on the phone again. He would be lying if he said it didn't become a favorite pass time of his. The subject for tonight's conversation was Kenji. "Do you think that he's going to choose his father over doing what is right?" Brooklynn asked.

The older teen thought for a minute. "I don't know. Uncle Josh is the closest thing I have to a father. He basically lost both of his parents at a young age. He's only NOW seeing a side of his father that he's forgotten. I just hope that he remembers that we're here for him."

The two teens sighed, something they've been doing together a lot lately. "How are your dads?"

Brooklynn let out a light huff. "I thought they were overprotective before the island. This just almost feels too much." The two teens let out a light laugh.

Tell her now.

DEW IT!

"So listen." they both said at the same time. They laughed again, and Darius said, "You first."

Brooklynn nodded. "Um, there really isn't an easy way to say this. But... I'm going to be moving again soon." Darius's smile fell slightly. "The area that we're looking at has a good market right now. And, for whatever reason, I can't get rid of this adrenalin high. I think I need something to get me excited again. Plus, the area looks nice. A change of scenery should help pull me out of my semi depressed state of mind."

Darius put on a full smile again. "Nice. I'm happy for you Brooklynn."

The girl smiled, but noticed he started to get that happy/sad smile again. "So, what did you want to tell me?"

The older teen thought for a minute. He bit the inside of his cheek. Too late. I lost her. "Um..." Darius shook his head. "Nothing. Not important. I can always tell you another day."

"Darius?" Brooklynn eyed him suspiciously. The older teen looked at her. "Why are you doing this again?"

"Doing what?" he asked.

"THIS." Darius couldn't see her gesture, but he knew her well enough to know what she was doing. "Every time we try to tell each other something, you close up. I'm the only one who shares anything anymore. And I don't know why we keep going back and forth."

Darius tried to lie his way out of the situation. "I don't know what you're talking about Brooklynn. I thought what I needed to say was important. But on second thought, it's not a big deal anymore."

"What's not a big deal anymore Darius?" Brooklynn asked.

"Nothing." Darius said, trying to not let his voice go high, or get frustrated too much.

Brooklynn said sternly, "Don't lie to me Darius. I KNOW when you're lying to me."

Darius got defensive. "I'm not lying. I don't know why you're getting so pressed with me."

"Because I care about you!" Brooklynn yelled. "Even if you don't love me back, I STILL love you. I've been honest with my feelings to you Darius. Always. But I've never known if you're telling the truth about how you feel. Except for when you talk about your brother and your mother. You need to know what you want Darius. You don't want a life with me? Fine. But you don't want to put the next girl you date through this. What do you want Darius?"

The older teens eyes had diverted across the room away from his phone. "I have to go." he said. "I'll talk to you tomorrow Brooklynn. Sleep well." Without another word, Darius hung up. He sat there for a few minutes, and sighed. He decided to go for a walk.

After about an hour later, he got back to his doorstep. A single figure was seen standing there. Darius wasn't sure how long she had been standing there, but he got up to the steps, which creaked. The figure turned around and Darius saw it was a girl. "Katie. Hi."

"HI Darius." she said. "You've been here for what? Three weeks. And I have to come see you?"

The older teen was slightly confused. "Well, the last time we talked, you had told me, 'don't call me, text, or co e over ever again.' Kinda crazy that YOU don't come see ME, the guy that was pronounced dead for six months. Actually, I didn't expect you to come see me at all."

Katie smirked. "Classic Darius. It's always anybody's fault except his."

Darius knew what she was trying to do. "Why are you here Katie? Again, the last thing you said was, 'you can rot in hell.'"

Katie put on a sad face. "I was mad. And I didn't realize that I still cared about you. I was... stupid, insensitive to what you were going through. I should have been there for you. I'm sorry."

Darius looked her up and down. "I'm not buying it."

Katie sighed and shook her head. "Well... I'm here NOW. That's gotta mean SOMETHING. Right?"

"You weren't there when I NEEDED you, so the only reason why you would be here is because you WANT something." The teen walked past her up the steps.

"I want us to get back together." Katie admitted.

Darius laughed out loud. Once his stomach stopped hurting enough for him to talk, the older teen said, "I'll say one thing, when you wanted to be funny, you could be funny."

Katie scoffed. "Look. I've apologized. I spent a year doing everything I could to stay mad at you, and I spent six months full of regret for everything I wished I said. I've thought about this for a long time, and I still want to be with you. Just give me another chance." Katie grabbed his arm, and pulled herself closer to him. "I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry." She pulled his face closer to his, and kissed him deeply.

Darius hesitated for a moment before kissing her back. He allowed himself to pull Katie closer to him. After a few seconds, Darius started to push her against the support beam on his deck. Katie let out a laugh and soft moan. Finally, the two broke the kiss to breath. The two teens smiled at what just happened.

"So," Darius stuttered out, "see you tomorrow?"

Katie smiled. "Sure. You can pick me up at noon. We'll go catch a movie or something." She turned to walk away. After she got to her car, she smiled again, and said, "Bye Darius."

The teen was still on the porch smiling. "Bye Katie." He watched her drive away, and once she was gone, he went back into the house. He sighed as he sat on the couch. Well, if I'm not gonna see Brooklynn ever again, the least I can do is start to forget her.

"Wait, so he got mad at you and just hung up on you after you told he he needs to figure out what he wants?" Sammy was shocked. Brooklynn had called her a few minutes after she had been done with yelling into her pillow.

"Yeah." Brooklynn said with a scoff. "The asshole literally was so pissed off when I told him I didn't want to keep doing this with him, and just said that he has to go. And then he just hung up!"

Sammy shook her head. "Wait, so he didn't even say what he wanted to say?"

Brooklynn shook her head as well. "Nope. He just closed up like he always does. I don't know Sammy. I think I just need to give up. I've tried, I've let him know how I've felt."

"Well, are you still thinking of moving to Montana?" Sammy asked.

"I don't know. My dads still think that it would be a good idea to wait." Brooklynn said. "But I think that they're getting serious about it as well. It's going to be so awkward if we decide to move and we have to be like this."

Sammy scrunched up her face, thinking. "Well, you get some sleep. Hopefully this doesn't mess with you too much. Just try to rest, okay?"

"Alright Sammy. Thanks for the talk." Brooklynn sighed.

The Texas girl said, "No worries. It's what friends are for. Love you."

"Love you too." Brooklynn hung up.

Sammy sighed. "Darius, what am I gonna do about you?"

The teen gave it a few days before calling Darius. She decided to get up early enough to piss him off with a wake up call.

Darius heard his phone go off. He checked his alarm clock. It was only 5:27. The teen groaned, and let his phone ring out. He would call them back later if it was someone he knew.

bRRRRRRRRRINNGGGGgggggg
Darius groaned again, and checked who was calling him so early. What the hell does Sammy want? The teen swiped the green button up. "Hey Sammy."

"Hey sleeping beauty." she said with a cheery voice. He could tell though that she was forcing it. "How have you been for the last few days?"

"Mmmm fine." Darius slurred out. "Look, Sammy, you do know about time zones, right? It's like 5:30 right now. Can I call you back after I've had breakfast?"

"Nope. Sorry, this can't wait." the girl insisted.

Darius knew that he was just going to have to push through this. "Alright. Well, what do you want?"

"Just want to talk to you about Brooklynn." she said with more concern in her voice.

The older teen sat up immediately. "What happened? Is she okay?"

"Not really Darius." Sammy lead him on. His mind started to come up with a million different reasons why she wouldn't be okay. Did something so bad happen to her that he was going to have to watch the news? And the last time they talked, things ended poorly. "She's really hurt by what you said to her the other day."

Darius sighed a relief that she was okay physically. Wait a second. "So, you woke me up at five in the morning because Brooklynn told you about the mini fight we had four days ago?"

"You really hurt her feelings Darius." Sammy told him. "And I don't think that this is just a one and done thing. I think that it may have been an on going thing."

"Look Sammy, you weren't there. And besides, she's moving away, so what I wanted to say in that moment wasn't going to change anything."

Sammy sighed. "She told me about the night of the Scorpius Rex attack. She admitted that she loved you, and you pushed her away and made her feelings invalid."

"Hey, don't use that as a weapon against me Sammy." Darius said, his anger starting to rise.

"I'm not finished yet." Sammy interrupted. "After she not only said she loved you, she KISSED you, and you pushed her away, saying that she didn't really feel that way. It was an in the moment sort of thing. You HURT her Darius."

"I'm not trying to hurt her Sammy." Darius defended himself.

"No, you're just trying to keep yourself from getting hurt." Sammy said. "And, you've got this... Twisted train of thought that the best way to keep yourself from getting hurt is to push away anyone who you feel is getting to close to you."

"Hey, this is not... about my insecurities." Darius started.

"Oh, but ISN'T it?" Sammy interrupted again. "Everyone knows that you are madly in love with Brooklynn, Darius. But you lie to yourself. You lie to others because for some reason, you can't or won't let go that you think your mom's death is your fault. You've LIED to YOURSELF for SO LONG, that you don't even know what the truth is. Brooklynn has been honest with you right form the start Bowman. You need to start being honest with YOURSELF."

Darius spoke up. "Yeah? Well, guess what? I've found what I wanted. I took Brooklynn's words to heart. I don't want her anymore. I will always view her as my best friend. But I don't want her anymore. Okay? And if you tell her that I used to love her, I'm gonna be pissed. You can tell her that I don't want to date her. But don't tell her that I used to love her. Okay?"

Sammy sighed, and Darius could almost see her look of disappointment. "If that's the way you really feel. I've gotta go Darius. I've got chores around the house that need to be done. Enjoy your day." Without another word, Sammy hung up on Darius.

The older teen sighed, and threw himself back onto the top of his bed.

Three days later

Kenji had just finished watching his father's will. His butler, Alfred, had been instructed to be Kenji's legal guardian until his eighteenth birthday. After that, he was free to leave if he wished.

Kenji, of course received ALL assets. All the money of course went to him. The teen should have been happy that his father had still cared about him enough to put him in the will. He probably could have left it to someone else, but he still chose his son. But all Kenji wanted right now was his father to hug him.

The teen sat in his father's study. He had told Alfred that he wouldn't need him for the rest of the day. Kenji really wanted companionship, but he didn't have a great relationship with any of the maids and butlers. I just need someone. I don't care who.

Amazingly, the first person that came to his mind was Darius. Due to his fragile state of mind and emotion, Kenji decided to buy a ticket to Montana. After packing a suitcase, Kenji told Alfred that he needed to get away from the mansion and clear his head before he took in the full responsibility of running his dad's multiple companies.

As usual, Alfred didn't care. Kenji could tell it was going to be a great nine months. At this point, Kenji didn't care if Alfred quit when he was of legal age. He had learned how to become somewhat self-reliant on Nublar.

The next afternoon, after landing in Montana, Kenji rented a car, and drove all the way to Darius's house. He pulled up next to one of the cars, and walked up to the door. He made it up the steps, and raised his fist to knock. He stopped himself, and thought about what he wanted to do. Did he really want to bother Darius? He had said that he and the others would always be there for him. If Darius really was his best friend, he wouldn't care about Kenji showing up unannounced.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Kenji heard Darius's muffled voice say, "I've got it Brand." The locks on the door clicked, and the door swung open. "Kenji. Hi. Are you okay."

Kenji couldn't keep it together anymore. He grabbed Darius, and pulled him into a tight hug, and started to sob. "He's gone. He... He's g-gone. She's gone, they're both gone." he kept repeating.

Darius didn't know what to say, or fully understood what happened. All he knew was that his friend needed someone to cry on. Keeping Kenji in a hug, Darius lead his friend into the house, with Brandon closing the door behind him. After getting him onto the couch, Darius asked him. "Alright, tell me what happened."

Kenji explained, "The soldiers had gotten my father and the other bad guys. They were all arrested with this guy named Kash. He's the lead tech designer guy, runs all the doohickies. Once we started heading to the choppers, the BRADs started attacking. He then let out all the dinosaurs on the island, causing chaos everywhere. My dad didn't even make it out of the building. The Raptors got him." The now orphaned teen started to cry again, and Darius gave him another hug.

"I've got you man." Darius rubbed Kenji's back and head. "I've got you. You're gonna be okay." Kenji just continued to cry. After a little bit, Darius said, "You've gotta be exhausted man. Let's get you up to my room. You can sleep there for a bit."

Kenji sniffed, and shook his head. "Nah man. I'm good. I'll just go grab a hotel room."

Darius wasn't having any of it. "Nah bro. You're sleeping in my room." Against Kenji's protests, the older teen lead Kenji up, and basically shoved him on the bed. After a few more tries of complaining, Kenji just gave in, and let himself fall deep asleep.

Over the next few days, Kenji stayed with Darius. He got to meet his Uncle, his Aunt, and hang out with Brandon a little bit more. It was pretty chill for the most part.

After a morning of McDonald's breakfast, Go Karts, and Arcade, Darius and Kenji were enjoying a nice walk around town. "You live in a nice place." Kenji complemented.

Darius smiled. "Thanks. Probably doesn't compare to New York though."

Kenji laughed. "I would argue this place is better than New York." Darius was confused for a minute until the younger teen explained, "You live in a small town. Everyone has heard of everyone at least. You just get an overall good vibe from here. In New York, everyone's just too busy with their own thing, they don't know how to just live in the moment. Here, you feel alive." The two teens continued to walk around. A little bit later, Kenji asked, "How's Brooklynn doing?"

Darius sighed, and his smile fell. "We had a fight about a week ago. Haven't spoken to her since."

"What did you do this time?" Kenji joked.

Darius smiled again slightly, but quickly became tired. "Well, she told me that she loves me. But, she's also moving. In that moment, I wanted to tell her that I love her too. I've wanted to for a long time. But I couldn't. Not anymore. Now that I know that there's no way we could ever be together."

Kenji shook his head. "You always close yourself off from her. Every time, you do this. Either with me, Sammy, Ben, especially Brooklynn."

"She said that I didn't know what I want." Darius continued, his face turning into a slight scowl. "Told me that I need to figure that out. Sammy thinks that it's because I'm insecure." Kenji nodded. The older teen looked at him. "What, you agree with her?"

The younger teen sighed. "Look man, take it from me. Girls do not like to feel like they're being led on. Guys don't like it either, but especially girls. They're very emotional in the sense that, every action someone takes, there's usually an emotional reasoning or process of why they do what they do. And I know that you care about her, but come on. You just gotta either say it, or text her about it."

"But you think I'm insecure as well?" Darius said, diverting the topic.

Kenji said, "You're afraid of losing someone again. And I get it man. I don't know everything you've told Brooklynn. All I know is what you've told me. But I think you're afraid of the fact that you care so deeply for Brooklynn. I know that you care about the rest of us, but Brooklynn holds a special place in your heart. Don't take this the wrong way, but is it possible that you're pushing her away because you're still going through the motions of your mom's death?"

Darius shook his head. "Shit." he muttered. "You're probably right."

About a minute or two of more walking, someone turned the corner who started smiling and waving at Darius. He waved back. "Who's that?" Kenji asked.

"I'll explain later." Darius told him. "Hey Katie." he called out to her.

"Hi Darius!" Katie ran up to him, and gave him a hug, and quick kiss. "Who's your friend?"

Darius motioned to Kenji. "Uh, Katie, this is Kenji. He was one of the five campers that were stuck on the island with me. Kenji, this is Katie."

Kenji and Katie shook hands. "Hi. I'm his girlfriend." Kenji was slightly taken aback at this. "Did you just move here?"

Kenji regained himself. "Uh, no. I was just visiting for a few days. I wasn't sure how long I would be here, so I've been staying with him."

"Nice. Well, it was nice to meet you, but I've gotta run." Katie walked past them, and turned back to Darius. "I know that you've gotta study a lot for your school test this summer, but my parents are going to be out of town for a bit in the next few weeks. Hopefully we can hang out some more then?"

Darius nodded. "Sounds fun."

Katie smiled, and walked away again. After she got far enough away form them, Kenji said, "So... Katie is your girlfriend? I didn't realize you were easy to rebound."

The older teen gave him a look. "What are you talking about?"

"Well, first you and Brook have a fight, and now, suddenly you have a girlfriend." Kenji told him. "Kind of fucked up that you could just go from Brooklynn to the next random girl."

Darius sighed and scoffed. "First, she's not just some random girl. She's an ex. And second, I like her. What's the big deal?"

Kenji smiled, scoffed and shook his head. "Ahhhh, Darius, Darius, Darius. What are we gonna do about you?"

"What are you talking about?" the older teen asked.

"Well, you say that you love Brooklynn, and yet you try to forget her with an EX girlfriend no less." Kenji said. "I liked Brooklynn for a while, and I have to admit, there's no body like her man."

"I can't have her anyways." Darius rolled his eyes. "What's the big deal?"

"You're gonna spiral out, for one." Kenj shot back. "Second, this is your rebound. You weren't dating Brooklynn, but the emotion and feelings might as well be there. You're reacting on instinct dude."

"Yeah, well I like Katie." Darius defended himself.

"But you don't love her." Kenji pointed out. "You haven't said that you loved her. Not like the way you love Brooklynn at least."

The older teen shook his head. "Whatever man. I don't need to explain myself to you."

Kenji nodded. "I'm not trying to cause a fight bro. I'm just pointing out what I see. And as someone who lived the playboy type, I think I know what I'm talking about."

"I know." Darius said, keeping himself from exploding. "In all honesty, you're probably right about this. God, Brooklynn was right. That sounds so wrong to say."

Kenji laughed at his friend. "Yeah, well, I have to be SOMEthing other than comic relief right?"

Darius laughed as well. "I guess."

"Alright, well, I've got a flight tomorrow evening back to New York. Thanks for letting me crash at your place for the week." Kenji said as they started walking back to the house.

Darius nodded. "No sweat man. I... I am really sorry about your dad. He seemed like he was an okay guy." Kenji nodded. The next day, Kenji was almost ready to head to the airport. "Alright, you got everything?"

Kenji made sure everything was in his suitcase. "Yeah. Again, thanks a lot bro."

"Anytime." Darius said as he pulled him in for a half hug. He watched as Kenji zipped up his bag, and carried it to the rental car.

After putting his suitcase in the car, Kenji shut the door and turned towards his friend. "I guess this is it."

Darius nodded. "Hey, can I share something that I wish I knew after Mom died?" Kenji nodded back. "Look, you came here looking for a way to ease the pain, probably looking for a way to forget. That's fine. But... This isn't something you can get over just like that." Kenji nodded. "Once you get back, you're going to feel empty. You're going to feel like a big hole just opened up inside of you, and no matter what you do, it's just always going to be there. And this may be easier said than done, but try to get another friend. We are always going to be here for you, but you can only do so much over the phone. Getting a real friend is going to be a whole lot of time. That hole is never going to be filled up again, it's just too big. But, the pain eventually numbs. Some longer than others. But no matter how long it takes, never feel like, just because you're not as affected by it any more, it doesn't mean that you're forgetting them. Alright?"

Kenji nodded again. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind."

Darius nodded as well. "Alright. I love you bro." The two teens pulled each other into a hug again. After a minute, Kenji pulled away.

"Well, this was fun." Kenji said. "We should do something for the start of school. I can fly you guys out or something."

"We'll see." Darius said with a chuckle. "Take care man."

Three days later

Kenji sat in his room, by himself. Apparently, even though his father left everything to him, due to laws, he was not allowed to run the multiple businesses until he was of legal age. But the money that the companies made still went to him. He needed something to take his mind off of everything.

The teen got up, and checked the clocks. It was around six in the evening. He needed to do something. He grabbed his wallet, and made sure to grab his fake ID, credit card, and a wad of hundreds and tens. Never know where you're gonna end up. He didn't bother telling Alfred that he was going out. It's not like he gives a shit anyways.

After taking the keys to the Red Lambo convertible, thanks Dad, Kenji drove off. He just drove aimlessly for a while. Eventually, he decided that he needed to go to a party. And not just any party. He needed to go to a place where he didn't know anybody, and could get drinks. That's what I need right now.

He eventually came across place called Rick's Cabaret. He figured this would be a good start. If the vibe turned the wrong way, he could always leave. After getting past the bouncer, and doing everything else he needed to get into the club, he started looking around.

He found his way to the bar first, and decided that this is a good location to remember in case he needs to grab a drink. He wasn't going to start out the gate just yet. He walked around, looked at all the girls, watching, and seeing what other partiers were doing.

Kenji decided to test his luck, and found a girl that was around eight inches shorter than him. She looked cute, but wasn't insanely hot. (At least not in his opinion.) But he figured this would be a great way to boost his confidence. He walked over to her, and said, "Hi."

She looked his way, gave him a look up and down, and smiled when she liked what she saw. "Hi there."

"What's your name?" Kenji asked.

"I'm Lindsay." the dance said. "You?"

"Kenji." he smiled back.

Lindsay smiled still. "Nice to meet you Kenji."

Testing his luck further, he asked, "Can I buy you a drink?"

"Sure." The two people went over to the bar, and Kenji bought them drinks. "So, how are you enjoying it here?"

Kenji answered, "For my first time, it's not bad." After a few minutes of small talk and sipping on their drinks, Kenji decided to go for it. "Would you mind if you gave me a private dance?"

Lindsay nodded, and finished her drink. As they were headed to the booth, she said, "You've looked at a lot of the other dancers, but didn't throw money. Why?"

"I have a very opinionated mind." he joked. Lindsay apparently liked it. Once they got to the booth, Kenji took a seat on the stool. He grabbed one of the hundred dollars, and said, "This is my first time in any club. How much does 100 get me?"

Lindsay answered, "It'll get you three songs." Kenji nodded, and handed her the cash. "Your time starts next song."

The teen nodded, and waited with anticipation. The poppy EDM tune ended, and a more sensual, RNB song came on. (Use your imagination, I don't give af.)

Lindsay went slow, and circled her client. After warming up, she set herself on his lap, and started to grind. Kenji groaned. The dancer smiled. It's obvious she's done this at least a hundred times, and knew exactly what she was doing. She stopped grinding, and turned to face Kenji.

She let her hands rub across his chest, all the way down near his waist. It took everything for him to not grab onto her. After teasing him for another minute, Lindsay circled him again, and rubbed his chest. She unbuttoned his shirt, and pulled off his tie.

She sat on his lap sideways again. Kenji knew that she had lots of more time with three songs, so she was warming him up before the REAL performance begain. Just before he felt like he couldn't hold on anymore, Lindsay got off his lap. Kenji used this time to breath and get himself under control.

The song ended, and another hip hop song came on. The base was loud, and Lindsay used it to her advantage. She faced Kenji again, and started to dry hump him. Kenji moaned and sighed. He put his hands to touch her thigh, but he quickly caught himself. "Can I rub them?" he asked as he motioned with his hands.

She nodded, and continued. As Kenji got bolder and bolder, and Lindsay kept changing positions on the chair, Kenji felt himself having fun. The drink he had probably helped, but hey!

The second song ended, and the third song started. Lindsay started to dry hump him to the pop EDM song, and they both touched each other. Without thinking, he reached for her breasts which were bouncing around and were covering his face. Lindsay grabbed his right and as he reached for it. Realizing his mistake, the teen said, "Sorry." Lindsay smiled again, and put his hand on her.

Pretty soon, it was an all out make-up session for them. When the third song was over, Kenji's mind was all over the place. He reached in his pocket to grab another hundred bill, she whispered in his ear, "My shift doesn't end for another hour and a half. If you can wait for me, you can drive me back to my place."

Kenji managed to gasp out, "Sure. So, meet you by the bar at 10?" Lindsay nodded with her pretty smile, and motioned for him to leave the booth.

The teen who was passing as an adult, managed to have something to look forward to tonight. He didn't want to risk loosing his fun, so he sat down at the bar, and ordered some food. One steak and slice of cake later, Lindsay found him. She tapped on his shoulder, and he looked behind him. "Hey." she said with a smile. "Ready to go?"

Kenji nodded. "Let me get the bill." Once he payed for everything, the two people walked out of the club to the valet. The Lambo came around, and Lindsay got in the passenger side.

"Sweet ride." she complimented.

"Thanks. But you're gonna love the car." he joked. Lindsay let out a laugh as Kenji pulled out onto the streets. "So, where are we headed?" he asked after a minute of driving.

"I'll guide you." Lindsay told him. After a few minutes, he pulled into a street with a bunch of town homes. He parked on the curb, and went to open her door. "Thank you." she smiled again. Kenji was getting attached to that smile. She lead him in, and told him where he could put his shoes.

Once he entered the rest of the area, he was impressed. "Nice place you've got."

"Thanks." she said, happy he liked it. "It's not much, but's something I guess." Lindsay grabbed two glasses and some Vodka. After pouring the drinks, she asked, "So, what do you do for work?"

Kenji took a sip, and thought carefully. He didn't want to say the wrong thing. "Uh, I run a lot of business companies. A lot of it is mainly research, scientific endeavors. There's probably a sales company."

"And you founded all of it yourself?" Lindsay said, very impressed.

"Not exactly." Kenji explained, "A good friend of mine passed away recently, and for whatever reason, he left all of his stuff to me. So, now I not only have the responsibilities of my own company, I've got to maintain HIS multiple companies."

"Must have been a really good friend." Lindsay thought. "I'm sorry for your loss."

"It's okay. There wasn't a whole lot that could have been done for him anyways." the teen said. But he was lying. And he could feel himself getting emotional. Pushing it down, he asked, "So, besides dancing, do you do anything else?"

"I go to collage in the day." Lindsay said. "I've been doing this since I started. It's just to help pay for the tuition and get my loans payed off faster."

Kenji nodded. "Student loans are a bitch."

"I'm majoring in Marketing." she explained. "I've always been good at selling, even with the lemonade stand when I was eleven."

Kenji smiled. He enjoyed hearing her talk. He couldn't believe that the song actually was true. I'm in love with a dancer. Well, marketing dancer, but who cares?

After spending a lot more time talking, Kenji and Lindsay had gotten close. Not just as friends, but physically. They both had met in the middle of her couch, and were basically cuddling with each other. They could smell the alcohol on themselves. After a few drinks, the tension had pretty much disappeared.

Kenji and Lindsay stared into each other's eyes. They pulled each other into a deep kiss, lasting as long as they could manage. Kenji felt the bulge growing in his pants. Lindsay smiled as she gasped for air. She could feel it on her leg. She leaned into his ear, and whispered, "Wanna have some more fun?" He eagerly nodded as she excitedly lead him to her room. He quickly got undressed as the door closed. "You have a condom, right?" she asked.

He reached in his wallet, and grabbed one. "Yeah, of course."
