A/N: And here, we have the next chapter of our story where it left off. And this time, we'd get to see not one, not two, not three, not four, but five additional Pokémorphs via Burst Gems! Also, there may be some elements from the main game, although a bit different after the first Shadow Pokémon gets caught as well as some elements from both Pokémon 4Ever and a comic from JitenshaSW called "Commission for Paradox Slate (Pokemon TF)":)

Chapter 2: Lumiose City Pursuit
One morning, Serena was riding on Rhyhorn, albeit with great difficulty.
"Close your mouth! You don't want to bite your tongue! Serena, remember you got to think like a Rhyhorn!", Grace advised.
"Easy for you to saaaaaay!", Serena exclaimed.
"I've competed in Rhyhorn races around the world and you can do it too! Just stay with it! Be one with Rhyhorn!", Grace urged before Serena was only launched off the Rhyhorn, sliding against the ground.
"Or not.", Grace sighed before Serena grunted and then looked up as she shouted vehemently.
"Mom! I HATE THIS!", Serena shouted.
Lumiose City pursuit!
Narrator: Excitement filled the air as Ash along with his old friends, Misty, Brock, May, and Max arrive at the Kalos Region. But as soon as they arrive, Team Rocket was after our heroes again. However, a brave trainer named Ryoga saved the day, but drew the attention of Miruto while battling. We join Ash and his friends as they race toward the Pokemon HQ Lab to return Jovi home.
"This way! Then, it'll take us to where we need to go from there!", Michael shouted.
"Okay!", Ash nodded.
"So, about those jewels...", Miruto spoke.
"They're called Burst Hearts. And that's all you need to know for now.", Ryoga replied.
"What?! But you said...", Miruto began.
"We can explain later when we get that girl home.", Ryoga interrupted.
"Clemont! Go faster!", Bonnie shouted, having noticed that Clemont was very far behind.
"I'm running as fast as I can. Ash, don't wait for me, get going.", Clemont panted.
"You got it, Clemont.", Ash responded.
"I can't believe how slow my brother is.", Bonnie sighed, making Jovi giggle.
Meanwhile, in the tree was Team Rocket, no doubt sent there after Ryoga sent them blasting off with a zap.
"To think that we find the first human-turned-Pokémon and already get trounced by one!", Jessie exclaimed.
"Unforgivable...", James groaned.
"And embarrassing...", Meowth added.
"The Pokémon HQ Lab is straight ahead now!", Michael shouted, puzzling Team Rocket.
"Right!", Ash agreed, not knowing that Team Rocket was watching them nearby.
"That's it, the Pokémon HQ Lab!", Bonnie grinned.
"It's the toddling twerps.", Meowth spoke.
"Pokémon HQ Lab?", Jessie pondered.
"It must be for studying Pokémon.", James guessed.
"I'll wager all the strong and rare Pokemon in there will make you fall over.", Meowth smirked before Wobbuffet popped out of Jesse's Poké Ball.
"Wobbuffet!", Wobbuffet shouted before the branch suddenly broke off, causing the villains to fall down, not knowing that a water frog Pokémon was watching the heroes from the trees, too.
Meanwhile, Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Michael, Ryoga, Miruto, Jovi, Clemont, and Bonnie finally arrived at the front porch of the Pokémon HQ Lab.
"Hello! Professor Sycamore, are you there?", Ash called before Professor Sycamore entered, yawning.
"Oh, hi, Mommy! We're back!", Jovi grinned.
"And we brought some frinds with us.", Michael added.
"Oh, Jovi! Haven't I told you not to wander off by yourself?", Lily scolded.
"No, Mommy! You don't understand! Big brother was lost, so Jovi brought him here! If Jovi weren't there, Jovi bets he'd be crying by now, saying he can't go home! Right, big brother?", Jovi responded.
"What?!", Michael exclaimed.
"That's not what happened, you little...!", Ryoga exclaimed.
"Calm down, Ryoga. Sure she seems condescending, but remember that she's just a little girl. She'll learn soon.", Miruto assured.
"Oh, my! Jovi, you are a brave and resourceful girl! But that's quite enough for today. Besides, Aidan must be getting pretty tired waiting for you.", Lily responded, making Jovi gasp as she widened her eyes.
"Oh, my gosh! I was in the middle of hide-and-seek! I completely forgot! Okay, big brother! I'll see you later! Bye!", Jovi spoke before she ran off for the side entrance to Pokémon HQ Labs.
"Michael, thanks for finding Jovi for me.", Lily grinned.
"Well, apparently, I had a little help.", Michael grinned.
"Hi. I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. And this is my partner, Pikachu. Nice to meet you.", Ash grinned.
"Pikachu.", Pikachu greeted.
"Hi, I'm Misty.", Misty greeted.
"I'm May.", May greeted.
"My name's Max.", Max added.
"I'm Brock. Pleased to meet you.", Brock responded.
"I'm Ryoga.", Ryoga grinned.
"My name's Miruto. Hi.", Miruto greeted.
"I'm Bonnie. My brother Clemont should be here soon, but he's very slow when it comes to running.", Bonnie stated.
"I see... Oh. Professor Krane wanted to see you, Michael. Professor Sycamore also came in a few minutes ago.", Lilly spoke.
"He what?", Michael asked.
"Professor Sycamore's here, too?", Bonnie asked.
"Yes. And I think you and your friends need to get inside and see him right away. I'm sure they'll be very excited.", Lily grinned.
"You got it.", Michael nodded before Clemont finally arrived, albeit very exhausted as he panted quite heavily.
"You're so slow!", Bonnie spoke.
"What'd I miss?", Clemont asked.
Moments later, Michael and the others got inside the HQ Lab and saw Professor Krane and Professor Sycamore, along with the former's assistant named Aidan.
"Oh, hi, there, Michael. We've been waiting for you.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Wow... So you're Professor Sycamore?", Michael asked.
"That's right. I'm a Pokémon researcher working here in Kalos.", Professor Sycamore responded.
"And I'm Professor Krane. I work here, too, but I'm well-versed in terms of purifying Shadow Pokémon. As for what they are, I'll explain later.", Professor Krane responded.
"Nice to meet you.", Ash greeted.
"Professor Krane, this is Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Ryoga, Miruto, Clemont, and Bonnie.
"It's truly an honor to meet you, Professor Sycamore.", Clemont added.
"Pikachu, Misty, Brock, and I got here today from Pallet Town in Kanto.", Ash responded.
"And Max and I just arrived from Hoenn.", May added.
"From Kanto?", Professor Sycamore puzzled.
"And Hoenn?", Professor Krane asked.
"Right. I'm traveling on a journey so I can become a Pokémon Master.", Ash responded.
"Pikachu.", Pikachu added.
"Then welcome!", Professor Sycamore greeted.
"Well, now that introductions are in order, I wanted to show you the Snag Machine. Has Aidan to you about the Snag Machine?", Professor Krane asked.
"Not really.", Michael replied.
"Come to think of it, this is the first time I've heard about something like that.", Professor Sycamore responded.
"Well, the Snag Machine is a special device for snagging Pokémon. The two of us, Aidan and I, were developing it. And now it's finally finished.", Professor Krane spoke.
"Well, that's good to hear.", Professor Krane grinned.
"But isn't it usually impossible, if not forbidden, to steal other people's Pokémon?", Misty asked.
"Under normal circumstances, quite. But while the Snag Machine is an outrageous piece of work used to steal Pokémon from another Trainer in battle, we didn't make this to steal Pokémon indiscriminately from Trainers.", Professor Krane explained.
"What do you mean?", Ash asked.
"Remember when I mentioned Shadow Pokémon a few moments earlier?", Professor Krane asked.
"Yeah. Why?", May asked.
"They're Pokémon that have been turned into fighting machines after having their hearts closed by artificial means. Poor things... So, to that end, we developed the Snag Machine to take back such modified Shadow Pokémon. Why this machine is needed now, I can explain later... but for now, I'd like you to test our Snag Machine, Michael.", Professor Krane spoke.
"Me?", Michael asked.
"Yeah. After all, you're the best Trainer at this Lab.", Professor Krane responded.
"You're really that good, Michael?", Max asked in surprise.
"Yeah, you'd be surprised.", Michael grinned.
"That sounds awesome. I can't wait to take you on sometime.", Ryoga grinned.
"Oh, yeah? We'll see about that.", Michael responded.
"We'll get to that if you want. But first things first. The Snag Machine is inside this case.", Professor Krane spoke.
"Oh. Okay.", Michael responded before he went over to it, opened the case, and then put it on.
It consisted of a shoulder pad like unit with a spiraling wire that is attached to a concave cover about the size and shape of a rugby or gridiron ball. The shoulder pad is worn over the left shoulder, the wire coiled around the wearer's arm, and the concave cover worn over the wearer's hand.
"Wow. it fits you perfectly.", Aidan grinned.
"It looks so cool, too!", Bonnie grinned.
"Thanks.", Michael grinned.
"From here on, it will be a lot easier to just show you how it works in practice rather than trying to describe it. Let's go upstairs to the Battle SIM System room.", Professor Krane spoke.
"Right.", Michael nodded before he and Professor Krane went upstairs.
Then, a noise came out of nowhere and the heroes look to see a Garchomp.
"Who's that Pokémon?", May asked.
"Ah! Check it out, a Garchomp!", Ash spoke excitedly.
"Pika, Pikachu!", Pikachu grinned as it hopped onto Ash's shoulder.
"Garchomp came here from the lab. It has a good heart.", Professor Sycamore responded as he came to Garchomp and petted it.
"Garchomp, how are you feeling?", Professor Sycamore asked as he petted it.
"May I pet Garchomp too, please?! I've never seen a real Garchomp before.", Bonnie asked.
"Of course. Garchomp would really like that.", Professor Sycamore assured as he lifted Bonnie up to pet Serena first and then Garchomp.
"Yay! Aw, you're so cute.", Bonnie spoke to Garchomp as she petted it.
"Good Pokémon. Hey, you like me.", Bonnie grinned.
"Professor. I've heard a lot about your research on Pokemon Evolution. Is it true?", Clemont asked.
"Yeah. There're a lot more Pokemon living right here at the lab than Garchomp.", Professor Sycamore responded.
"Oh, I wanna see them! I wanna see them! I wanna see them now!", Bonnie spoke excitedly.
"Well, I think we can do something about that. Cosette, look after Garchomp, will you?", Professor Sycamore requested.
"Of course, sure thing.", Cosette responded before the group walked over to a sort of garden in the backyard of the Pokémon HQ Lab.
"Amazing, wow!", Ash grinned.
"So, Professor, what kind of evolution are you researching?", Ash asked before it then showed Garchomp in the jar with green waves surrounding it.
"Well, I just discovered two types, actually. But if I told you that Pokemon may have an additional evolutionary stage, what would you say?", Sycamore asked.
"Are you serious?", Ash asked.
"So you're saying Garchomp can still evolve?", Clemont asked.
"Possibly. That's my research.", Sycamore responded.
"Whoa.", Ash spoke in amazement.
"Unbelievable.", Clemont added before it showed a silhouette of Mega Ampharos and Mega Charizard X just behind Sycamore as he explained further.
"There had been several reports about different Pokemon evolving in a way that we researchers refer to as 'Mega Evolution.'", Sycamore explained.
"Mega Evolution?", Ash, Misty, Brock, May, and Max asked in awe.
"A lot of the mechanics are still a mystery. But we believe that a strong bond between Pokemon and Trainer as well as the special stone play a crucial role in evolving.", Sycamore responded.
"Strong bond, huh?", Ash spoke in wonder.
"Pika.", Pikachu said.
"What's more, a Pokémon is able to return to its previous form after it evolves this way.", Sycamore stated.
"It can turn back?", Ash asked.
"Yes. And there's one other type to consider: the kind that can allow Pokémon trainers to actually become Pokémon themselves.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Wait. So, you mean...", Ryoga began.
"Oh. Sounds like you know a little something about it yourself.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Yeah, actually. It involves Burst Hearts. Inside each one is an exceptional Pokémon. But they work very differently from Poké Balls that capture Pokémon. With those things, they allow you to merge with the Pokémon inside the Burst Gem. That process is called Burst Evolution.", Ryoga responded.
"Oh, my. How did you know that?", Professor Sycamore asked.
"Well, I just started out on my journey sometime ago.", Ryoga responded.
"I see... That means that Zekrom was sealed inside his Burst Heart and he can't use its power without transforming.", Miruto guessed as she wrote down the notes.
"In any case, Professor Krane and I found 5 Burst Hearts recently. But those ones aren't exact. More accurately, I think those Burst Hearts are the first ones that would allow trainers to become their inner Pokémon depending on the different type of Burst Hearts they have.", Professor Sycamore explained as he then got out 5 in order, which are of 5 different types: Fire, Grass, Electric, Rock, and Water types.
"Really?", Ash asked.
"Yes. And if you want, I could show you how these work.", Professor Sycamore grinned.
"Actually, we'd like that.", Brock grinned.
"Yeah. This reminds me of the time I got turned into a Pikachu at Johto.", Ash grinned.
"What?! You mean you saw one of those outside Kalos?", Professor Sycamore asked.
"No. It was while we were helping a magician named Lily.", Ash explained.
"Pika, Pikachu.", Pikachu spoke.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket was on top of the window, spying and overhearing the heroes.
"Mega Evolution and Burst Evolution, strong stuff.", Meowth stated.
"Further Evolution after evolving!", James added.
"The way is clear. Every Pokemon's ours, catching time's here!", Jesse grinned before Wobbuffet popped out.
"Wobbuffet!", Wobbuffet exclaimed before Team Rocket shut its mouth.
Later, Misty was now wearing a glove with a slot for the Fire-type Burst Heart she was now holding as Ash was seen holding the Electric-type Burst Heart, Brock with the Rock-type Burst Heart, May with the Grass-type Burst Heart, and Max with the water-type Burst Heart.
"So, that's a Burst Gem...?", Misty spoke in awe as she examined the jewel as well as the glove with the top of it having a jewel-shaped hole to allow the jewel passage before looking up at Ryoga.
"The gem goes in this slot, right?", Misty asked.
"Yeah. You got it. I gotta warn you, though, the first time changing hurts like you wouldn't believe.", Ryoga warned.
"Oh, gee. Thanks for the warning.", Misty spoke somewhat flatly before she put the jewel into a slot on her glove.
But no sooner had Misty done that that her body started to glow a rainbow-like color.
"What the...?", Misty spoke in surprise before Misty's hands started growing claws, mostly due to the nails growing into said shape, all while also growing pads on her fingers and palms.
"Wow... I'm changing...?", Misty puzzled before she felt something odd about her ears: they're growing taller and pointer!
"Aaah! My ears!", Misty exclaimed in surprise as her nose suddenly got a pad, making it resemble Pikachu's nose somewhat while her two front fangs appeared in her mouth just before her feet started aching in pain, making her exclaim as they started becoming more like canine feet.
"You weren't kidding, Ryoga. It really does hurt...!", Misty winced as she started to grow puffy fur while her hands turned into paws.
"I think that's more of an acquired feeling. Believe me, I know. From here on out afterwards, relax and really feel your body change.", Ryoga advised.
"I'll try! Although, I think that's the only thing I can feel at this point.", Misty responded to herself just before she felt an odd, if not slightly painful, feeling from behind.
"Oh, right down the spine...?!", Misty groaned in pain before her tail grew out, bursting from her pants, which disappeared along with her shirt soon afterward while Misty went into all fours as Ash and the others looked on in amazement before the rainbow-colored aura dissipated with a burst, revealing Misty's new Pokémon form.
"Pika...?", Pikachu puzzled in awe.
"No way...!", Ash spoke in awe.
"Is that really you, Misty?", Brock puzzled in amazement.
"I guess so. So, is that really my inner Pokémon...?", Misty asked as she looked in the water's reflection.
"Yeah. And I think that looks great on you, Misty.", Ash guessed.
"Aw, you think?", Misty blushed.
"All right. Let's see what Pokémon you are now.", Sycamore spoke as he then got out the Poké Dex and scanned the Burst Gem on the top of Misty's left hand before it then showed her Pokémon form appearing in the Poké Dex.
"Mistyque. The canine Pokémon. When her hair ignites like a flame, her internal temperatures increase up to 500,00 degrees Farenheit.", the Poké Dex spoke, astonishing her.
"Really?", Mistyque puzzled.
"Well, guess I'm up next. I wonder how it feels to change...", May said before she turned to her Burst Heart.
"It can't be that bad, right...?", May puzzled as she cautiously, almost hesitantly, put her Burst Heart on her glove.
Soon after, her body started to glow a rainbow-like color as well right before May started growing vines (one for each side of her head).
"Are those vines?", May asked.
"Of course. They are essential to a grass-type Pokémon after all." Professor Sycamore assured before May's hands and feet started to enlarge a little with her skin turning green for both her hands and feet, which grew big enough to rip out of her shoes and gloves at least.
"Okay. This is super weird.", May spoke before, as they turned green, her hands and feet grew green pads on each tip of her fingers and toes as well as grassy wrist and ankle coverings, but not before her finger count dropped to 3 (4 counting her thumbs) and her toe count dropped to 3.
"Hey... It's still a bit strange, but this isn't as bad as I thought it'd be.", May blushed.
Meanwhile, a blue, bipedal Pokémon with mammalian features appeared to be floating in the air. It had a rounded, wide snout; triangular ears; and large, blue eyes. It has short arms with three-fingered paws and large hind paws with oval markings on the soles. Its tail is long and thin with an ovoid tip. Its fur is so fine and thin, it can only be seen under a microscope. Soon, a bright, rainbow-colored light, attracted its attention.
"Huh...?", the Pokémon puzzled telepathically before it saw the source of the light.
"What's going on here?", the Pokémon spoke before it then floated over to the area.
Back at the HQ Lab, May was looking at her morphed hands and feet.
"Looks like this is gonna take some getting used to.", May stated.
But then, May's body started to grow taller just as her skin turned green with her clothes starting to rip off with her tail growing out.
"Whoa!", May exclaimed as she grew before her clothes, which were no longer necessary at this point, ripped off her body and she then dropped to the ground on all fours, leaving her to gaze at her changing body in awe as she even grew a tail just as long and thick, if not half as much as a Charizard's (save for a rose at the tip of her tail in place of a flame) with her body's glow ceasing before May was now in Pokémon form.
"Whoa... That felt weird... but it was so cool!", May grinned.
"Wow, May. You really transformed into a Pokémon.", Max spoke.
"No kidding?", May puzzled before May walked over to a sort of pond in the garden and saw her reflection, which showed that May's skin color was now the same skin color as Bulbasaur's, but a bit darker with similar spots as Bulbasaur, a nose quite similar to Pikachu's, a couple of small fangs, vines hanging from her head, and a quadrapedal body with a long tail with a rose at the tip of it.
"Well, that wasn't so bad. I think I could get used to it after all.", May grinned as she moved her tail over to her face before she sniffed the rose at the tip of her tail.
"I even have a cute rose with me.", May grinned before Sycamore scanned May's Burst Heart next with her current form appearing in the Poké Dex as well.
"Mayleaf. The grassland Pokémon. Whenever she travels on grass, she can easily camouflage her presence with her natural body and sneak up on any unsuspecting opponents.", the Poké Dex stated.
"Mayleaf...? I think it's a bit silly, but I like it. I wonder what I can do.", Mayleaf grinned.
"All right! I wanna go next!", Ash grinned excitedly.
"Me, too.", Max added.
"Same here.", Brock added.
Then, the rainbow-colored light returned and quickly dimmed just as the blue-colored Mew peeped out toward the windows and saw Ash (now in Pikachu form), Max (in Totodile form), Brock (in Onyx form), Misty as a fire-type Pokémon, and May as a grass-type Pokémon, worrying it.
"Oh, this is terrible...", the blue Mew spoke before it then vanished and reappeared inside the area, surprising Sycamore, Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, and the others.
"Hey, it's Mew.", Mistyque spoke.
"Yeah, but I think that one's different.", Mayleaf added.
"It looks upset.", Pikachu spoke.
"Pikachu... Did you just talk?", Ash asked.
"Yeah. So?", Pikachu asked.
"Wait. Could that have something to do with those Burst Hearts?", Ash asked.
"Maybe. Those Burst Hearts are quite extraordinary and not much are known about them.", Sycamore responded.
"Yeah, that makes sense.", Clemont agreed.
"What happened? Where'd that glow come from?", the blue Mew asked telepathically.
"The glow? Oh. It was while we were turning into Pokémon.", Ash assured.
But it didn't seem to be a reasonable answer for the blue Mew.
"This is terrible... I couldn't save you from being turned in time. Now, there's no way to turn you back to normal before Team Cipher...", the blue Mew spoke sadly.
"No way to turn back, what do you mean? We could just get those Burst Hearts off our hands. Literally.", Ash assured.
"Burst Hearts? What are those?", the blue Mew asked.
"Those are what allow us to turn into Pokémon and back to normal. Like this.", Ash assured before he then caused the Burst Heart to be lifted from on top of Ash's hand, morphing him back to human form.
"See?", Ash assured.
"He's right. I have one just like it.", Ryoga agreed, showing the blue Mew his own Burst Heart.
"Oh. I guess I misread the problem.", the blue Mew spoke, relieved.
"What sort of problem do you mean?", Professor Sycamore asked.
"Well..., it's complicated.", the blue Mew responded.
"Aw. You look so cute, Mew.", Bonnie grinned.
"Thank you... But that's not my real name.", the blue Mew responded.
"Then, what is your name?", Clemont asked before the blue Mew glowed brightly and apparently morphed into human form with the only things left that are Mew-like being her hands, ears, and nose.
Otherwise, the blue Mew's human form was now that of a little girl with blue green hair and in a cute dress.
"My name is Amber Fuji.". Amber stated, surprising Miruto.
"Amber...?! As in THE Amber Fuji who supposedly died a long time ago?!", Miruto exclaimed.
"Well, not exactly as I'm right here, but yeah.", Amber responded.
"Amber?", Misty asked.
"That's a cute name.", May grinned.
"Thank you.", Amber grinned.
"Hold on, you know something like that, Miruto?", Ryoga asked.
"Not all the details.", Miruto said.
"And how'd you end up turned into Mew, Amber?", Brock asked.
"Yeah. I don't see any Burst Heart with you.", Max added.
"Whatever it is you have to say, I can take it.", Miruto assured.
"Well..., it's a sad story.", Amber began.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket in disguise appeared in the Pokémon HQ Lab.
"Oh, fellow researchers?", Jessie asked.
"We've come to research Mega Evolution and Burst Evolution.", James added.
"You have?", Sophie puzzled.
Back at the garden, Brock can already guess what happened.
"So, what happened here is, you got into a car accident and your father had to use Mew's DNA to save you.", Brock guessed.
"Yeah. But then, Giovanni came and separated me from my Pokémon friend...! And some time ago, I escaped only to find out that my father was gone...!", Amber sniffled, shocking Ash.
"That's horrible.", Ash said.
"I can't believe something like that would happen.", Mistyque added.
"The nerve...", Brock added.
"We had no idea you went through something like this...", Mayleaf added.
"Oh, poor Amber.", Bonnie spoke sadly.
"It must've been very hard for you.", Miruto guessed.
"You have my deepest condolences.", Clemont assured.
"Don't worry, Amber. You're with us now and we'll find your friend and keep you safe until then. You can bet on that.", Ash assured.
"Pika.", Pikachu agreed.
"Oh, I almost forgot to analyze your Burst Hearts.", Sycamore spoke before he scanned Brock's Burst Heart next.
"Bronix, the Rock Snake Pokémon. His large body is over 26 feet long. Despite his size, he can squirm his way through the ground at 50 mph.", the Poké Dex stated before Sycamore scanned Max's Burst Heart next with Max's current form also appearing on the Poké Dex.
"Maxodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon. Despite the smallness of his body, Maxodile's jaws are very powerful.", the Poké Dex stated.
"Wow...", Maxodile spoke in awe.
"So, want to explore the lab, Mayleaf?", Mistyque asked.
"You bet, Mistyque.", Mayleaf grinned before realizing something.
"Oh. Want to come with us, Amber?", Mayleaf asked.
"We could show you around.", Mistyque added.
"I'm just not sure...", Amber spoke.
"Don't worry. If anyone tries to go after you, we'll keep you safe.", Mayleaf assured.
"Yeah. Like Ash said.", Mistyque added.
"Um... okay.", Amber grinned.
But as Mistyque, Mayleaf, and Amber walked out to the entrance, they saw Team Rocket and Sophie.
"We've come to be a scientific service.", Meowth spoke.
"I wasn't told anything about this.", Sophie spoke.
"I'll check with the Professor.", Cosette stated before
Team Rocket whispered at each other as Garchomp growled.
"What's up with Garchomp?", Mistyque puzzled.
"I don't know. But I think it's suspicious about those researchers.", Mayleaf guessed before she, Mistyque, and Amber walked forward cautiously.
"Look! It's those twerpettes as Pokémon!", Meowth spoke before gasping and covering his mouth as Mistyque realized something critical.
"Wait a minute. You guys are Team Rocket, aren't you?", Mistyque asked.
"Aw... What gave it away?", Meowth asked.
"What's Team Rocket?", Amber asked.
"They're bad people who try to steal other people's Pokémon.", Mayleaf replied with a glare toward Team Rocket.
"Well, that's certainly a change of pace for the twerpettes to turn into Pokémon.", Jessie stated.
"Maybe they decided to take a page from that green-haired twerp's book, not to mention that there's a human Mew, there, too.", Meowth responded.
"Then that's the one who feel our research wrath first.", James spoke before he opened the box and picked up a device.
"So let's get ready to research!", James smirked.
"Now, please, step aside, This research is not for the faint of heart.", Jessie advised.
"Oh, no you don't! If you wanna get to her...", Mistyque began.
"Then, you're gonna have to go through us first!", Mayleaf added.
"That's the idea. Voila!", James shouted as he threw the device toward Amber, still protected by Mistyque and Mayleaf, that is, until Garchomp stepped in and the device got on her neck instead, turning into a collar with Electricity appearing all over it and Garchomp's eyes turning light blue.
"Oh, no! Garchomp!", Sophie exclaimed.
"Garchomp", Mistyque exclaimed.
"Are you okay?", Mayleaf asked.
"You... saved me.", Amber spoke in surprise.
"Not exactly my picnic, but hey...! I could tell you wanted her safe, right?", Garchomp grunted.
"Not our intended target but whatever. They did say Garchomp might be able to mega evolve.", Jessie spoke.
"Let's roll with the punches, it's a Garchomp grab!", Meowth spoke.
"Garchomp, we insist that you come along for the ride!", James spoke as he used a remote for the collar, but then Garchomp roared, trying to get the collar off.
"Hang on!", Mistyque shouted.
"We'll help get it off!", Mayleaf assured before she and Mistyque leapt on Garchomp to try and help get the collar off only for it tobounce them back as Garchomp roared, catching Ash and the others' attention.
"Hey, that's Garchomp!", Ash shouted.
"It sounds like it's in trouble.", Bronix guessed as he and the others ran.
Meanwhile, Garchomp fired Hyper Beam around the research before hitting the Bookshelves behind it, knocking all the books away and hitting the wall on its back, causing the collar and its eyes to turn from light blue to red.
"Hold on, this isn't how we planned it.", Jessie spoke.
"Come on, Garchomp! Go with the program!", Meowth urged.
"Most peculiar.", James spoke as he checked the remote before Garchomp roared in pain.
"Garchomp!", Ash shouted.
"Look, it's Ash!", Mistyque shouted.
"What's going on?", Ash puzzled.
"What happened?", Pikachu spoke in worry, at least for Mistyque and Mayleaf's viewpoints.
"Professor! Those three did this!", Sophie alerted.
"Alright, who are you?!", Sycamore shouted.
"Prepare for trouble alright, we're us.", Jessie responded.
"And make it double. No muzz, no fuzz.", James added before Team Rocket removed their scientist clothes revealing their true clothes.
"Oh, no, Team Rocket!", Ash said.
"You jerks again?!", Ryoga exclaimed.
"You are such annoying bad people!", Bonnie shouted.
"Yeah, don't you three ever quit?", Mistyque agreed.
"Team Rocket?", Sycamore puzzled.
"They're bad guys who tried to steal everybody's Pokémon!", Ash responded.
"Try? We succeed.", Jessie corrected.
"And today, Garchomp will fill that need!", James added.
"There's nothing like doing an evil deed!", Meowth agreed.
"It can't be! A Talking Meowth!", Professor Sycamore spoke in surprise.
"The wisdom gushes out of my mouth.", Meowth replied.
"No! I think Garchomp's using Hyper Beam!", Bronix guessed before, all of a sudden, Garchomp fired Hyper Beam at Team Rocket, sending them flying to the sky.
"Aw, no fair!", Team Rocket shouted.
"Wobbuffet!", Wobbuffet exclaimed.
"Well, that takes care of them.", Mayleaf spoke.
"But what about Garchomp?", Amber asked.
"What, Garchomp? What's going on?", Ash asked before suddenly, Garchomp fired another Hyper Beam.
"Look out!", Ash shouted before the attack almost hit the heroes.
"What was that for?!", Ash exclaimed before he and the others saw the collar on Garchomp's neck.
"It's some sort of collar.", Professor Sycamore stated.
"It's from those people!", Sophia shouted.
"What?", Sycamore asked.
"Garchomp jumped in to help Mistyque and Mayleaf save me.", Amber replied before Garchomp jumped out of the research and went around the streets of Lumiose City out of control.
"Garchomp!", Ash shouted.
"Pika!", Pikachu shouted.
"Garchomp must be in a lot of pain.", Ash guessed.
"That's awful.", Bronix said.
"What's gonna happen to Garchomp?", Bonnie spoke in worry.
"It doesn't matter, because we're going to save it!", Maxodile urged.
"Then, let's go after it!", Ash agreed.
"Pika!", Pikachu concurred.
"Please be very careful! Sophie, check to see if the other Pokémon are okay.", Sycamore urged.
"Right.", Sophie agreed.
"Oh, Clemont, I wish we could help poor Garchomp out.", Bonnie spoke in worry.
"Then let's go, too.", Clemont assured before Amber got in Ash's way.
"Amber?", Ash puzzled.
"If you guys are going out there, I wanna go out there, too. Garchomp saved me. Now, it's my turn to save it.", Amber responded.
"You wanna go with us, Amber?", Ash asked before Amber nodded.
"All right! Then, let's go save Garchomp!", Ash urged before a yell came from outside.
"Wait. That sounded like Professor Krane.", Bronix guessed.
"He must be in trouble.", Maxodile guessed.
"But is Garchomp attacking him?", Mistyque asked.
"I don't think so.", Mayleaf responded.
"Then, let's go find out.", Ryoga responded as he ran out the door with the others following him as well as Clemont and Bonnie, not knowing that the real Mew was watching from nearby in midair.
"Mew?", Mew puzzled as it tilted its head to the right.

When Ash and the others burst out the door, they became shocked to see Professor Krane getting hauled away by men in white suits.
"Will you let go of me! Where do you think you're taking me?!", Professor Krane exclaimed, trying to free himself.
"Professor Krane's in trouble!", Ash spoke as Michael rushed outside.
"What's going on?", Michael asked.
"See for yourself.", Ash responded, pointing toward the scene.
"Hehehe... I'm taking you to your new lab, Professor.", a man in a white suit named Naps responded.
"What...? My new lab?", Professor Krane puzzled.
"Move it; we don't have any time. If you don't want to get hurt, hustle yourself into the car!", Naps exclaimed.
"Who do you people think you are?!", Professor Krane exclaimed.
"Let him go right now!", Ash shouted, attracting the man's attention.
"You heard him! Let him go!", Michael urged.
"Yeah, or else we'll pound you into next week!", Ryoga added.
"I'd take his word for it if I were you.", Mistyque warned.
"Yeah, you'd be surprised how strong we are ourselves.", Mayleaf smirked in addition.
"What? You think that just because most of you have decided to become Pokémon that you're going to play hero and try to stop us? Fine. But I should warn you now. I don't show mercy to anyone, not trainers, not to freaks, and not even to kids! Come on out, Teddiursa", Naps shouted before tossing out a different, if not darker, Poké Ball, which then let loose a black light with a light purple outline before it formed into a Teddiursa, which looked fierce and angry.
"Is that?", Mistyue asked.
"A Dark Ball...", Bronix guessed, remembering when it was used to capture Celebi by the Iron-Masked Marauder.
Just then, an apparent reader came out from the metal eyepiece on the side of Michael's head and recognized Teddiursa as a Shadow Pokémon as a purple aura was seen on it through the lens.
"Huh?! What is that?!", Michael exclaimed.
"Michael! The Aura Reader is responding! That's a Shadow Pokémon!", Professor Krane shouted.
"A Shadow Pokémon?", Amber asked.
"Hurry, Michael! Throw a Poké Ball at it!", Professor Krane urged.
"All right!", Michael nodded before he then got out a Poké Ball and then tossed it toward Shadow Teddiursa with a big glowing hand coming out of the Poké Ball and grabbing Shadow Teddiursa before then ensnaring it inside the Poké Ball, which shook as Michael and the others watched cautiously before the Poké Ball clicked.
"We did it!", Michael grinned before the Dark Ball that released Teddiursa started sparking out.
"What was that? He managed to steal my Shadow Pokémon! Was that... Was it a snag?", Naps thought.
"Why you...! What's with that machine on your arm?!", Naps exclaimed.
"Could that be...? A Snag Machine?! What is it even doing here?", one of the spies spoke in shock.
"This is big! We'd better move it, as in now! I need to report this to headquarters!", Naps spoke just as Mew then floated behind Naps, attracting one of the spies' attention.
"Uh, Naps...? Behind you.", the spy spoke.
"What is it?", Naps spoke, turning around, only to see nothing as Mew disappeared.
"Thanks a lot for wasting my time! Let's just grab the professor and get out of here!", Naps urged as he and the others dragged Professor Krane away.
"Professor!", Michael shouted before he ran after the car to try and get Professor Krane, only for it to be too fast for him.
"It's too fast.", Michael panted.
"Don't worry. Leave the rest to me!", Ryoga assured as he got out his Burst Heart.
"Make that us!", Bronix grinned before Mistyque, Mayleaf, and Maxodile nodded.
"Hey, Pikachu. What do you say we get in on this, too?", Ash asked.
"Pika Pika.", Pikachu grinned.
Sometime later, as Naps was driving the car, he had some thinking.
"How did that kid get his hands on a Snag Machine?", Naps thought to himself, looking back at his still-sparking Dark Ball.
Then, all of a sudden, Bronix appeared right in front of the car from underground, shocking Naps to the point that he reacted in shock and instinctively stopped the car, albeit barely, before Naps got out.
"Hey! What's the big idea! That was my favorite car!", Naps exclaimed.
"It's the end of the line, Naps! Let the professor go and no on gets hurt!", Ryoga warned as he, Ash (now in Pikachu form), Mistyque, Mayleaf, and Maxodile appeared from behind.
"The only one getting hurt around here is you!", Naps exclaimed as he tried to fight Ryoga, only for him to stop his fist with his hand, surprising him.
"Now, it's my turn!", Ryoga spoke before he then charged a volt punch with his other hand and hit him, shocking him, and propelling him to the ground.
"Well, fellas? He's all yours.", Ryoga smirked.
"All right, Pikachu. Let's use Quick Attack.", Ash grinned.
"Right.", Pikachu nodded before both charged toward him and hit him in the belly, knocking him back.
"Why you...!", Naps growled before Mayleaf grabbed him by the arms with her two vines.
"Ready, Mistyque?", Mayleaf asked.
"You bet!", Mistyque responded before she then leapt up and started coating fire in her claws before knocking him back, albeit leaving him with a burn on his outfit.
"My clothes!", Naps exclaimed.
"Don't worry. I'll put that nasty fire out.", Maxodile grinned before puffing up his cheeks.
"Uh-oh.", Naps spoke before Maxodile sprayed water on Naps, splashing him toward the side of the car.
"Oh, no. Naps! Are you okay?", one of the spies shouted before Ryoga tore off the back of the car.
"Are you okay?", Ryoga asked.
"Well, I have seen better days, Ryoga.", Professor Krane assured.
"Then, what do you say we get out of here, huh?", Ryoga grinned as he grabbed Professor Krane and took off.
"Yeah, great idea.", Ashachu agreed as he and Pikachu hopped onto Ryoga's shoulder with Pikachu on his other while Ryoga held Maxodile, Mistyque, and Mayleaf.
"You think you can keep up, Brock?", Ryoga asked.
"Hey, knowing this Burst Heart as well as I know Onix, it has a great sense of direction.", Bronix assured before he went underground.
"Well, I guess we'll see.", Ryoga grinned before he took off with the others.
"THIS ISN'T OVER! YA HEAR ME?! CIPHER'S GONNA COME AFTER EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND SNAG YOU LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!", Naps shouted.
"Incredible...! So, that's a Burst Heart at work?", Professor Krane asked.
"Yep. That's right.", Ryoga grinned.
"This is fantastic.", Professor Krane grinned.
"It is pretty great, isn't it?", Mayleaf grinned.
Sometime later, Professor Krane was returned to Pokémon HQ Lab.
"Professor, you're okay!", Jovi grinned.
"They really had us scared for a moment.", Lily grinned.
"Well, that's one crisis solved. At least for now. Right now, there's another we need to worry about.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Oh, yeah! It's Garchomp!", Ash realized.
"But how will we find it?", Bonnie asked.
"Well, there is one way.", Sycamore spoke, holding the control for the collar before a holographic touchpad appeared and he then showed Garchomp's present location.
"As we speak, Garchomp is headed for Lumiose City.", Sycamore stated.
"Well, at least we know where to go.", Ash grinned.
"But we'll need to think of a plan on how to approach it beforehand. Otherwise, you could put yourselves in danger.", Professor Krane suggested.
"We'll think of something.", Mistyque assured.
Then, Jovi turned to Amber.
"Hi. I'm Jovi. It's nice to meet you.", Jovi greeted to Amber, puzzling her before Jovi gave a slight giggle, hugging Amber, who then gave a sad grin.
Later, as Garchomp flew over Lumiose City, it fired Hyper Beam around the town as the police car arrived.
"Attention, Citizens. There's a Garchomp currently on a wild rampage! Please evacuate the area immediately!", Officer Jenny warned before a sort of helicopter arrived.
"At present, Garchomp is flying towards Prism Tower!", the female news announcer began just as Garchomp flew towards and landed on the Prism Tower before then firing Hyper Beam, almost hitting the helicopter.
"Garchomp is now unleashing random hyper beams! It just aimed once straight at our helicopter. Garchomp seems extremely agitated.", the female news announcer spoke as it then fired Hyper Beam again before Grace was seen watching the news in the TV.
"Have a look at this. Something unbelievable is happening.", Grace spoke in slight surprise as Serena brought out a water bottle out of the refrigerator.
"Oh, yeah? Well, something unbelievable has happened to my face, okay!", Serena scolded, making Grace blanch back and groan with sheepish eyes in response before Serena sat on the couch, watching the TV.
"Huh? What movie is this?", Serena asked.
"It's real, and live from Lumiose City. Something awful is going on.", Grace replied.
Back at Lumiose City, Garchomp fired Hyper Beam again as our heroes arrived.
"Garchomp!", Ashachu spoke in worry
"Look, up there!", Mayleaf shouted.
"It's so high up!", Pikachu exclaimed.
"There you are, guys!", Bonnie shouted.
"We gotta try and get close to it.", Ashachu suggested.
"But that's dangerous!", Clemont warned worriedly.
"No, Garchomp's the one who's in danger! We've got to find a way to get that collar off!", Ashachu urged.
"He's right. Besides, at times like this, danger's my middle name.", Ryoga grinned.
"But we need to figure out someway to get that collar off of its neck.", Bronix stated.
"Hmmm... I know. If getting close to Garchomp is what you need to do, I think I just came up with the way.", Clemont smirked.
"You did?!", Ashachu spoke in surprise before he and the others ran to the back of the Prism Tower.
"So, what now?", Mistyque asked.
"Oh, I get it. There's an emergency stairwell through that door, right?", Maxodile asked.
"Yep. Good thing I brought my backpack. The future is now thanks to science. All right. Clemontic Gear on. Aipom arm go!", Clemont shouted before the Aipom arm appeared and entered a sort of code.
"Wow, check that out!", Ash spoke in awe.
"Now, we can get in.", Clemont grinned.
"Man, science is so amazing!", Ash grinned.
"You've got that right, that's my brother's inventions.", Bonnie grinned.
"I must admit I'm kind of good at these things.", Clemont responded before they got inside.
"Thanks, Clemont.", Ash thanked.
"Sure thing.", Clemont assured as Serena looked up to see what was happening.
"Guys, Hyper beam at 12 o'clock!", Bronix shouted before Garchomp fired another Hyper Beam down below almost hitting the heroes as Serena narrowly jumped inside while the others got separated and the door was now blocked by the debris with Ashachu, Bronix, Ryoga, Pikachu, and Mayleaf in one side while Michael, Mistyque, Clemont, Miruto, Bonnie, and Maxodile were outside.
"You okay?!", Ryoga shouted.
"Yeah, but don't worry about us.", Clemont urged.
"You and the others just get going.", Miruto assured.
"Okay, we're on it.", Ashachu assured.
"Come on, let's go!", Mayleaf urged.
"I'm game!", Ryoga smirked, getting out his Burst Heart before he then transformed into his Zekrom Burst Form the same way as before.
Just then, elsewhere near the scene, Professor Sycamore arrived.
"Officer Jenny!", Professor Sycamore urged.
"Professor Sycamore!", Officer Jenny spoke in slight surprise.
"I'm so sorry about the trouble. So, where's Garchomp?", Professor Sycamore asked.
"Hey! Up there!", one of the bystanders shouted, pointing toward Ashachu, Bronix, Mayleaf, and Pikachu, who were climbing up, much to the other bystanders' surprise, especially Sycamore and Officer Jenny's.
"It's some Pokémon!", the man added.
"What? It's Ash, Ryoga, Brock, and May!", Professor Sycamore spoke in surprise.
"Hey, Garchomp.", Ashachu greeted.
"Take it easy. We just want to help get the collar off you.", Bronix assured before Garchomp only turned to the heroes and fired a Hyper Beam, although, thankfully, it missed just as Clemont and Bonnie noticed the explosion from down below.
"Oh, I wonder if Ash and the others are all right.", Bonie spoke in worry.
"Please, Garchomp, you've got to calm down.", Ash urged before Garchomp roared in pain.
"He's right. Let us help you.", Mayleaf concurred.
Just then, the helicopter flew around the Prism Tower.
"There's some kids who appear to be realistically dressed as Pokémon up on Prism Tower! Could they be trying to talk to Garchomp?", the news reporter asked.
After a moment, Garchomp flew up.
"Garchomp! Come back!", Ashachu urged before Garchomp only flew all the way on top of the Prism Tower.
"What do we do now?", Bronix asked.
"Ash, Pikachu, get on! You too, May.", Ryoga urged, puzzling Ash and Pikachu at first before they and Mayleaf got an idea of what he was planning before Ash and Pikachu got on while Mayleaf got on top of Ryoga's back.
"Are you sure you can climb all of us?", Bronix asked.
"I don't know. But we at least have to try.", Ryoga responded before he then flew up and grabbed Bronix, lifting the others up all the way toward the top as he flew.
"There they are!", Michael exclaimed.
"I can't believe how brave Ash and the others are when it comes to helping out Pokemon!", Bonnie spoke in surprise before it showed a flash back to when Ash saved Pikachu before Ryoga zapped Team Rocket away.
"I need to get up there.", Clemont spoke.
"Wait, we're going with you.", Mistyque spoke before she drew out her claws.
"Here goes! Ember!", Mistyque shouted as she then coated her claws in fire again and blasted the rocks out before Maxodile then blasted the flaming rocks with a small water gun.
"There. That should take care of that.", Maxodile grinned.
"Thanks, Max.", Michael grinned.
"Now, let's get going!", Miruto urged.
Meanwhile, Ashachu, Ryoga, Pikachu, Mayleaf, and Bronix have made it all the way on top of Prism Tower and saw Garchomp.
"We're here to help, Garchomp.", Ash assured.
"Just calm down. We don't mean you any harm.", Serena added.
"Unbelievable! Those kids and/or Pokémon flew to the top of Prism Tower!", the female news reporter spoke in surprise before Garchomp fired hyper beam again only for the heroes to dodge it again, prompting Pikachu to prepare to attack.
"No, Pikachu!", Ashachu shouted.
"What?", Pikachu puzzled.
"Wait. I don't want you to attack Garchomp.", Ash spoke.
"But Ash...", Pikachu spoke in worry.
"It's not its fault. The collar's making it go crazy.", Mayleaf explained before Mistyque, Maxodile, Michael, Miruto, Clemont and Bonnie arrived.
"Pull yourself together, Clemont!", Bonnie urged as she climbed up after Clemont, who was now exhausted.
"My legs. Where's Ash and the others?", Clemont asked.
"Up there at the top of the tower!", Bonnie replied.
Meanwhile, all of a sudden, Garchomp fired a Hyper Beam and the heroes dodged it again.
"Garchomp, can you hear us?! We know it hurts and that you're in a lot of pain! ", Ashachu assured.
"Careful...", Pikachu added.
"They can do it. I can already tell.", Ryoga grinned in assurance.
"We just want to help you. Just let us get the collar off of you, so we can all go back down.", Bronix assured.
"What do you say?", Mayleaf asked before Garchomp roared and struggled to get the collar off as its eyes turned back to normal and then flashed back to red and back off, not knowing that it was about to fall of the tower while it backed away.
"Wait! Garchomp, look out!", Ashachu shouted before a sort of water frog Pokémon from earlier jumped into action and released the sticky frubbles to hold Garchomp by holding its feet, surprising Ash and the others before they turned to see it from behind.
"Froa.", Froakie spoke.
"Who's that Pokémon?", Ash asked.
"I don't know.", Mayleaf replied before Garchomp roared in pain, still trying to remove the collar.
"Now's our chance! We've got to destroy that collar!", Bronix urged.
"Right!", Ashachu agreed before Mistyque and Mayleaf both jumped on Garchomp's neck.
"Garchomp! Hang on and we'll get this thing off of you!", Ash assured before Garchomp fired Hyper Beam again and missed.
"That was too close!", Mayleaf shouted.
"It's now or never, Ash!", Mistyque urged.
"Pikachu, let's use Iron Tail on the collar!", Ashachu shouted.
"Right!", Pikachu nodded before both it and Ashachu activated Iron Tail and destroyed the collar with a slash, causing Garchomp's eyes to turn back to normal as it then fell on its knees.
"Are you okay?", Ashachu asked before Garchomp noticed.
"Phew. Thank goodness.", Bronix grinned before Pikachu and Froakie ran to the heroes.
"That must've hurt. Help's on the way. Don't worry.", Ashachu assured.
Suddenly, part of the floor collapsed, making Pikachu fall down.
"Pikachu!", Ash shouted.
"Ash!", Pikachu shouted.
"Hang on, Pikachu!", Mayleaf shouted before she lurched her vines toward Pikachu and caught it.
"Gotcha.", Mayleaf grinned.
"Thanks...", Pikachu sighed.
"No problem.", Mayleaf grinned before she set Pikachu on the ground.
"All right, let's all get back down.
Later, Ryoga had safely dropped everybody off to the ground where everybody was and was now back in human form.
"Thanks a lot!", Ash grinned.
"No sweat.", Ryoga grinned.
"What a relief.", Bonnie sighed.
"Though, maybe try not to
"You know? I think we could get pretty used to being Pokémon.", Mistyque grinned.
"Yeah. But don't forget, you still have to remove the Burst Hearts when you're done using 'em. Otherwise, it'll put a lot of strain on your bodies.", Ryoga advised.
"That can happen? I guess I hadn't thought of that.", Mistyque blushed before she, Ash, and the others removed their burst hearts, effectively turning back to normal.
"Well, at least now, I know what to do the next time I change.", Mayleaf grinned.
"Hey, Ash, everyone! Thank goodness you didn't get hurt.", Sycamore grinned.
"We're both doing great. And Garchomp is all back to normal.", Ash grinned.
"Thank you, kids. Officer Jenny is on her way to get them now.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Professor Sycamore, about those guys that tried to kidnap Professor Krane. I wonder what they're up to.", Michael spoke.
"I don't know. But I can't imagine it's anything good.", Professor Sycamore responded, not knowing that in the moonlight, Mew was watching Ash and the others.
"Mew. Mew. Mew.", Mew grinned before it then flew off.
Meanwhile, two people, one with metallic shades and a blue cloak and one with red-haired-pigtails, were watching as well.
"Seems like they've done well.", the young man spoke.
"And it looks like they might know something about Team Cipher, too.", the woman spoke.
"And one of them even has a Snag Machine like I do, but different. Good. As long as they're prepared. I have a feeling we'll meet them in person soon, Rui.", the man spoke.
"Are you sure, Wes?", Rui asked before Wes turned to her.
"At any rate, we could use all the help we can get.", Wes replied.
Meanwhile, Serena was quite relieved.
"What a relief!", Serena grinned before she saw Ash and Pikachu with Misty, Brock, May, Max, Michael, Miruto, and Ryoga on the TV.
"That boy... No, it couldn't be.", Serena spoke in surprise.
The next day, the group were back at the Pokémon HQ Lab.
"Hope you all got some sleep. Even thought there's a mess in there.", Professor Sycamore spoke.
"Yeah, I slept like a log.", Ash added.
"Me, too.", Misty grinned.
"I think I slept like a tree.", May added.
"Best sleep I've had in a long time.", Bonnie grinned.
"Yeah, same here.", Max grinned.
"I think we all got the best naps.", Brock responded.
"Thank you for everything.", Clemont added.
"I guess your journey begins now, doesn't it, Ash?", Sycamore asked.
"Yep.", Ash added.
"And so do ours. With Ash, of course.", Misty grinned added, making Ash blush a bit.
"Oh, and by the way. Have you received Kalos Region Poké Dexes yet?", Sycamore asked.
"No.", Ash responded.
"Now that you mention it, we've lost track of time.", May responded.
"Then please take this with you on your journey and make good use of it.", Sycamore spoke as he gave Ash the Poké Dex.
"Thanks a lot, Professor.", Ash grinned.
"Oh, and before I forget, we're working on something big. And it's going to fix our current Shadow Pokémon problem.", Professor Krane responded.
"What is it?", Michael asked.
"There's only one thing I can tell you. And it is known as the Purification Chamber.", Professor Krane responded.
"Purification Chamber?", Ash asked.
"That's right. And when it's finished, it should be able to purify the Shadow Pokémon in the world.", Professor Krane responded.
"Really?", May grinned.
"Now, that sounds amazing.", Max grinned.
"You can say that again.", Brock agreed.
"And to that end, we'll let you know what things we need for the chamber via PDA as we go along.", Lily grinned.
"In the meantime, you just find as many Shadow Pokémon as you can and purify them.", Professor Krane added.
"You got it, Professor.", Michael grinned.
"Good luck with your research Professor. Bye!", Ash spoke as he left before a frubble came out of nowhere, hitting Ash right on his face before he looked to see a Froakie with a Poké Ball.
"Froakie?", Ash puzzled before said Pokémon softly pushed the Poké Ball to Ash.
"Hey, I think it wants to go with you. That never happened before.", Sycamore guessed.
"It didn't? What do you mean?", Max puzzled.
"Well, one of my numerous responsibilities is to give Trainers their very first Pokemon. Froakie's a Pokemon meant for new trainers.", Sycamore responded.
"Meant for new trainers?", Michael puzzled.
"That's correct. But this particular Froakie is a bit different, refusing to listen to it's trainer during battle, There have been times when Froakie ran away, simply because it didn't like it's trainer. And several trainers have come back to my lab just to return it.", Sycamore explained.
"You mean more than one?", Ash asked.
"Pikachu.", Pikachu added.
"Seriously?! They didn't even think to try and learn what it wanted?!", Ryoga exclaimed.
"Hey, I should be saying that!", Miruto agreed.
"So, Froakie's in a hard life.", Bonnie guessed.
"I've heard quite a few rumors about a new trainer's first Pokemon like that, But it seemed absurd, so I never believed them.", Clemont added.
"I'm sure Froakie acts that way for a reason. That was all the more apparent when Froakie appeared to help keep Garchomp from falling last night.", Sycamore stated.
"Oh, yeah. We never got the chance to thank you for that last night, Froakie.", Misty grinned.
"I can't believe it. Froakie chose you.", Clemont grinned.
"It sure has some grit. I can respect that.", Ryoga grinned.
"It really likes Ash. That's so sweet.", Bonnie added before Ash picked up the Poké Ball.
"You think so, huh? Froakie, do you want to come with us?", Ash asked before Froakie pressed the button and got inside the Poké Ball.
"It's awesome you are coming with us, Froakie.", Ash grinned before the Poké Ball shook a bit.
"Looks like it agrees.", Miruto grinned.
"Pikachu, Froakie's our first friend in Kalos.", Ash grinned.
"Pika!", Pikachu shouted excitedly.
"Yes! I got a Froakie! Yeah!", Ash exclaimed.
"Pi, Pikachu!", Pikachu shouted.
"Hey, can we come with you guys?", Jovi asked, Amber next to her.
"What? You want to come with us?", Michael asked.
"Yeah. I want to help you guys with items for the big project. And Amber wanted to get to know you guys more.", Jovi grinned as Amber grinned.
"Really?", Misty asked before Amber nodded.
"Well, of course you can come. We did promise to help you find your friend, didn't we?", Ash asked.
"Pika.", Pikachu nodded.
"Oh, Ash...", Amber spoke before she then went up to Ash and hugged him.
"Thank you so much...! You don't know how much this means to me.", Amber spoke sobbing a bit in joy.
"Hey, don't sweat it. It's the least we could all do.", Ash grinned.
"Pikachu...", Piakchu grinned.
Narrator: Our hero has had a transformative experience with Burst Hearts, encountered Amber Fuji, and got his first Pokémon from the Kalos Region, Froakie. But with the existence of the Shadow Pokémon made known to our heroes, there was no time to rest. Now what other friends, enemies, Burst Hearts, and adventures await Ash? Meanwhile, Serena brought a bowl of Pokemon food to Rhyhorn.
"Breakfast. Eat it all up.", Serena spoke as Rhyhorn ate the Pokémon food and Serena petted it.
"Wow, Rhyhorn. I have this feeling, something interesting is about to happen.", Serena grinned before it went to a brief flashback of young Ash before it then quickly went to the present.
"It must be that boy.", Serena thought.
"Right, let's go.", Serena spoke out loud.

Now, let it be known that I won't be able to post more stories tomorrow because on that day, I am going to leave for Utah for a family reunion and will be back on New Year's Eve to post a new story.
