The next day, both of them woke up at around 9AM, feeling refreshed. Going on with their morning routine, with the added benefit of having the grace of god next to them.
"Since it's our break, why don't we head to Sankt Jeder?"
Shin was oddly surprised that Lena had brought up the suggestion, especially since he was thinking of the exact same thing.
"You're right, we shouldn't really be spending time in our base anyways. I'm going to call Ernst and tell him that we're coming home over the holidays."
With that, he picks up his phone and calls Erns, who is absolutely ecstatic that his "son" is going to be visiting him. As happy as he was, he was completely left in the dust of the news that another person is going to be accompanying Shin.
Raiden and the crew trying to keep Kurena and Frederica quiet heard the conversation and decided to drop by their homes too, Theo also brought along Annette to see what she can use to poke fun at Lena after their break was over.
Upon arrival at Zimmerman estate, Lena was greeted by the ever so gentle Teresa, and was guided to her room, but Shin decided to intervene and Teresa understood full well his intention.
Guiding her to his room, Shin led the way like that of a trained butler, showing every antique Ernst had around in his house, and even showing the massive back garden he had. Lena was very surprised, although she came from a lineage of nobles, she had not seen an estate the size of Ernst's.
As Shin gave her the final details of the estate, they made their way to the hall upstairs. With their destination in sight, Shin took her hand and guided them to his room. His room was as empty as she had expected, the only thing there was a bookshelf that was nearly empty, that just shows how much he reads. Putting down her luggage, she let TP out of his carrier and he quickly went to snuggle himself in Shin's bed.
They both quickly took off any heavy clothing and set them temporarily on the bed, and just in time for Teresa calling them downstairs for dinner.
When they arrived downstairs Ernst was there, and he greeted Shin like a father who had never seen his son in months (although this is entirely true) "Shin! I haven't seen you in so long! How have you been?"
Shin, a tad bit annoyed that Lena got ignored answered his question with the same aloof tone he always had "It was only 7 months that I was gone, and as you can see I am doing fine. There is another person here however that I'd like to introduce you to."
He turned and gestured a welcoming pointer to Lena "This is Lena, my girlfriend, and the commander of the 86th Strike Package."
Lena responded ,although with some stiffness from being in the presence of the temporary president "Good to see you! As you heard I am Shin's g-girlfriend, and the commander of the 86th Strike Package."
