Ernst was very surprised when he heard this and quickly turned to Shin looking a bit upset
"YOU GOT A GIRFRIEND AND DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME?! Do you know how much that hurts me as your father?" he said as he held his chest, practically sulking.
Shin was surprised since he expected him to just congratulate him or something, but he's pretty sure that he'd feel the same if his son got a girlfriend and didn't inform him at all. While Ernst was still sulking the doorbell rang.
"We're homeee."
Theo sounded as monotonous as ever, and next to him were the 5 from the original Spearhead Squadron and Frederica. To Lena's surprise however Anette was also there.
"A-Anette?! What are you doing here?"
Anette looked at her teasingly
"What might YOU be doing here, not in Sank Jeder, but in the president's estate of all places. Didn't you have enough money to stay in a hotel for a few days? Or maybe you just want to be with Shin here hmmmmmmm?"
Lena, now beet red, tries to clap back, but is unable to do so, and just helps everyone get their things to their designated rooms.
After everyone is done getting their stuff down, Teresa calls them downstairs for dinner. It looks like they're all one big family, although the hair and eye colors are mismatched..
After dinner they all decided to head back upstairs. In Shin's room, they laid down, exhausted from their initial trip. They talked about how being in Sank Jeder reminds them of their lives before the war. Lena compared Ernst's estate to her former home, and to her memories of Shin's former home. They decided that they'd start exploring the city the next day.
