"I am Groot, I am Groot." Casey heard Branchie asking after Casey and her had decorated their room for the holidays just like at Rocket's house, making the female-cub grin feeling better seeing Branchie holding up her decorations making Casey get it.
"Yeah, I feel better now we decorated, now it's tije to decorate you hehehe." Casey told her only hearing soft knocking on the door made her curious, excusing herself, seeing Jupiter standing there, making her nervous hearing that she wanted to talk to her taking deep-breaths before leaving her room unaware Branchie was following them, smelling cookies.
In the kitchen, Jupiter was making hot cocoa and putting cookies on a plate noticing Casey was quiet which made her sigh, as she just wanted to talk relieving Casey she was not in trouble guessing Rocket had told her and Herbert how she was feeling hearing Jupiter ask if she was okay seeing her shake her head telling her how she was feeling, reminding her of what she'd told her before she and Herbert had gotten married.
"I know honey, but we can make the holidays just asmagical here like at Gamora and Rocket's house." Jupiter told her.
"I guess mommy, but we're all family right, even though we live in a different house." Casey said seeing them nod, plus said they were going to decorate the tree after dinner, making her feel better smiling because she could still give Gamora, Emily and RJ Hannukah gifts seeing Herbert nodding hoping Rocket would teach them how to light a menorah making Casey grin.
"Also don't you have to write your special letter for Santa, so he knows what to bring you for Christmas or Grootmas." Jupiter told her seeing Casey nodding as she had ideas going back to her room, seeing Branchie hug her asking if she felt better seeing her nod.
"Yep, plus my mom said I can work on my letter to Santa." Casey told the female-sapling seeing her excited.

Branchie replied to her giggling as they were getting to work, but Casey was writing her special letter to Santa with Branchie's help seeing her finished after a while putting it in an envelope writing Santa's address on it putting a stamp on it asking her mom if she could put the envelope in the mailbox hearing her say she could.
"Did you post your letter, sweetie." Jupiter asked seeing Casey nodding, while she, Herbert and Casey were having dinner at thrir house plus Casey was waiting for Jupiter and Herbert to fall asleep before going to patrol the New York streets as Raccoon Girl which Rocket knew about hoping her mom wouldn't freak out.
Later that night, she was in her armour kicking tail but at sunrise, flew home, changing into pyjamas climbing into bed falling asleep, unaware Herbert was watching the morning-news but he was impressed by this cub's heroics, noticing she looked like Casey shaking his head going to check on her finding her in her room.
"I knew it wasn't her, even though she has powers like the cib on the news." Casey heard him say knowing she had to be more careful when setting out on her nightly patrols falling back into sleep…
