After discussing the night before, and lots of making out. Shin and Lena ultimately decided that they'd go visit all the locations that Shin gave. Firstly they headed to breakfast at the mall, then took a walk down to the city's biggest park. There they looked at the scenery, admiring how the citizens leave peacefully with each other with no discrimination. This kind of aches at Lena's heart, since most of her life all she'd ever seen was the discrimination of those who aren't alba. Although these thoughts arise, she erases them completely, showing that she has truly moved on from those times of discrimination and onto a new time of harmony and comradery between every human. After an hour or two of sightseeing they went to grab some lunch at the mall again. At this point the end of their break was approaching, so Shin wanted to make the most out of it. After finishing their lunch, Shin took her to their final destination for the day, the riverside. There wasn't anything special about the location itself, other than it gives a very beautiful view. And yet, Shin feels that this moment is very special. Maybe it's because he is finally free from the torment he had felt when first arriving to the Federation, maybe it's because he'd finally come to peace with his brother's actions, or maybe it's because She's here with him.
The pair watched as the sun set a beautiful bright orange with the river glistening in front of it. Lena looked at Shin, smiled warmly, and turned his face towards her with her small hands. When doing this she thought that Shin resembled a chipmunk when doing this and let out a small chuckle. Shin wondered what she was laughing at, then she stopped laughing, but still had that warm smile from before. She uttered the words that Shin had always wanted to hear over and over again, "I love you, Shin". His reply is as one would expect : I love you too, Lena. I do hope that we can find more peaceful times like this in the future". Thus their second last day ended on a great note.
On the very final day, Shin had planned a very unexpected trip. This trip was one to visit the Marquis of the Nouzen clan and the Marquis of the Maika clan, otherwise known as his grandparents. The last time he came to visit them, he'd promised to introduce them to the person who helped him keep his sanity on the battlefield. With this in mind they both arrived at the house of Marquis Seiei Nouzen. Upon arrival they were greeted by the house's ever so silent butler, and guided to where the Marquis was. "It has been a while since I last visited, how are you grandfather?"The Marquis was ecstatic when he heard that his grandson was visiting, but had to show a calm face in front of him, "That much is true, I am doing well. How are you, my grandson?" Shin was expecting a reaction similar to Ernst's but that didn't come out, "I'm fine as you can see. If I may ask, where is grandmother? I thought I had also asked her to come today?" A figure suddenly appeared from the backyard, "Oooh Shinei, I see you have brought a very beautiful girl along. Is she the person you were talking about before?" Shin replied with a nod, now it was time for Lena to introduce herself.
Lena, now blushing, nervously introduced herself, "N-nice t-t-to meet you, I am Vladilena Milize of the 86th Strike package. I serve as Shin's supreme commander, and his girlfriend." The Marquis of the Nouzens, whose back was turned to Shin not too long ago, is now facing Lena with a surprised face, "Shinei, I'm so proud of you for being able to be with someone as great as her. Vladilena, I want to thank you for being the light which my grandson had needed in his darkest times. And I think Gelda over there thinks the same. Not everyone can have a super bright life, and I know that Shin has had it rough for most of it, with this I'd like to give you my deepest gratitude.", as he said that he gave a bow, and presented her with a bottle of fine wine. This time around, Shin stuck for dinner since he was closer to his grandparents than he was before. Lena was very impressed with the chefs there since they were able to make some republican dishes that she hasn't tasted in quite a long time. Seeing Shin and Lena happy made Shin's grandparents very happy. After dinner they decided to go home, and with that, their holiday came to a close.
