Inside a grey dreary day in Halloween Town, what was once a great bustling town, is deserted, but then a portal opened, and out came Taylor Fearbrave, and on her shoulder, Tess, and behind her, Bentley, a turtle in a wheelchair.

Bentley looked around, and said, "Say, Taylor, I thought that Halloween Town would be loud and busy, it's more like a ghost town, and not in a good way."

"Seems Oogie and Octavio really caused some problems," Taylor said.

"Well, this might be a problem without anyone around to help us," Vin said, while appearing out of Bentley's wheelchair.

"Don't worry Vin, Taylor and I have been going a lot of dangerous situations," Tess said.

Taylor looked, and said, "Seems we should try and see if anything is open." The others nodded, Vin went back into Bentley's wheelchair, and they looked around, but notice three ghostly auras blocking three entrances, one Taylor doesn't know, but the other two were to Town Hall, and Jack's house. Taylor soon said, "Seems this aura might be almost similar to the seals back in Alyssa's world, but I doubt Holy Water can break it." Suddenly she heard something, and said, "I think someone's coming, I suggest we hide, quick." Everyone went to the unknown gate, to hide near the wall, waiting for the someone to come.

They soon see that it was Jack, Taylor soon sighed in relief that it was him, coming through an opened gate. He looked around, and said, "That's strange... The town's deserted..." He continues to look around, walking to the fountain, saying, "Hmm..." Soon the gate slammed down, and clicked, causing Jack and everyone else to jump. Jack looks back at the gate, then Taylor soon sees another skeleton appeared behind him, Jack was surprised, and said, "Oh, I don't believe we've met. I'm Jack. Jack Skell..." He was interrupted when the skeleton tried to hit him, but Jack quickly backflips out of the way, as the skeleton, along with others roar at him. "Huh, what?" Jack asked mutteringly, then got out his Soul Robber, and asked, "You... you're not from Halloween Town, are you?"

"I think this is now a good time for action," Taylor said, rushing out to help Jack, Bentley soon followed suit. Jack soon was surprised with two, or three, counting the creature on the girl's shoulder came to help him, Taylor soon said, "Talk later, fight now!" Jack nodded, and everyone began fighting the three skeletons.

Jack hit the skeleton with his soul robber, Taylor whacked the second with her staff, while Bentley hit the third with his wheelchair, with its wheels spread out to be used as weapons. Soon three more skeletons rose up roaring, but they dealt with them immediately, but then a cat wailed, then an intercom came on, and a familiar voice soon said while some more skeletons appeared, and they fought them during the voice talked, "Testing... Testing... Is this thing on? My dearly abhorred denizens of Halloween Town. This is Oogie Boogie speaking! Today I bring you a joyous announcement. First of all, in place of Jack Skellington, yours truly is now the new ruler of Halloween Town! And secondly, as of today, this very hour, this exact moment, I declare this town's name will be changed to Oogie Town! Bahahahahaha!" After the announcement was done, and the skeletons were defeated.

Taylor soon sees the three ghostly auras evaporated, letting access to Town Hall, Jack's House, and the other area, Jack soon asked, "What happened while I was gone!?" They heard a crash coming from Town Hall, and Jack said, "Someone's inside!" Jack then looked at Taylor, and said, "I know that staff anywhere, for it belongs to a dear friend of mine, Shadow Fearbrave." He soon glares at Taylor and asked, "Who are you, and why do you have Shadow's staff?"

Taylor felt worried, then replied with a question, "Jack, don't you recognize me?" Jack looked confused, then Taylor said, "It's me, Taylor, Taylor Fearbrave, Shadow's sister."

Jack widened his eyes, and said, "Oh, Taylor, I didn't even recognize you, it's great to see you again," Jack looked around at Taylor's company, and said, "You seem to have grown up a bit, and have some great company, last time I saw you, you were a bit of a shy little girl."

Taylor smiled, and said, "Yes, on my shoulder is my friend Tess, she's an ottsel."

"Hey there, Jack, nice to meet you," Tess said, surprising Jack.

Taylor soon said, "Yeah, she can talk, it really has surprised many people already."

"What?" Jack asked.

"I'll explain later," Taylor replied, and waved her hand at her other friend, and said, "And over there is Bentley, he's been helping me a lot lately."

"Hey, you can't forget me for introductions," said a voice that surprised Jack a bit again, and a floating head came out of Bentley's wheelchair.

"Oh yeah, and that's Vin, he's also here to help," Taylor soon said.

"Well, it is great to meet you, I'm Jack, Jack Skellington, the great Pumpkin King of Halloween Town," Jack said.

"Well, now we've all been introduced, let's check out the Town Hall," Bentley said, everyone nodded, Vin went back into Bentley's wheelchair, and went to the Town Hall.

They soon see a man in a trench coat and a tophat walking toward the Hall, then stopped. Jacke soon said, "It's the Three Mr. Hydes, let's see if he might know what happened." Everyone nodded and went to him.

The man, or what Jack calls the Three Mr. Hydes sees them, and said to them, "I'm not making any more traps!" Everyone was confused, but then he said, "Oh, Jack! It's you!" He looks at the group, and said, "And you brought a bit of newcomers to help!"

"Sir, it's me, Taylor, Shadow's sister," Taylor said.

"Oh, Taylor, I didn't even recognize you," the Three Mr. Hydes said.

Jack soon asked, "Anyway, what exactly happened while I was gone?"

The Three Mr. Hydes soon replied, "Lock, Shock, and Barrel sewed Oogie back together again!"

His hat went up, revealing a small version of him, and said, "Bugs, Bags and all."

The Small Hyde's hat went up revealing a smaller one, saying, "Oogie is back!"

"Oh, now we know why he's called the Three Mr. Hydes," Bentley said.

The Big Mr. Hyde soon said to Jack, "Dr. Finkelstein proposed a plan for the next Halloween. He said you wanted a 'Dangerous Halloween' - so we organized one to make you happy. He said if we didn't, you might never come back..."

Jack soon asked as the two small Mr. Hydes put their hats down, "Do you think using ghosts and skeletons to hurt people is my idea of a good Halloween!?"

The Big Mr. Hyde replied, "We just wanted you to come back. We set up booby traps all over the place, but then hordes of ghosts and skeletons appeared out of nowhere, attacking everyone. Soon it wasn't even safe to be on the streets."

Jack soon said, "This is a disaster! I've got to find the Doctor."

"We will help as well, Jack," Taylor said.

"Thanks, Taylor, I need all the help I can get," Jack said.

The Big Mr. Hyde soon said, "Jack, I want to help, too. When you see me, I might have some things to say about your mission, please come to me, if you can."

"Thanks, we'll keep that in mind," Tess said.

Taylor soon asked, "Did you by any chance saw a lion dresse mob boss and wearing a white mask?"

"Oh, yes, I saw him," The Big Mr. Hyde said.

"He went into the Hall," the Small Mr. Hyde said, after lifting up the hat to reveal him.

"Before the aura barrier appeared," the Smaller Mr. Hyde said, after lifting the hat to reveal him, as well.

The two Hydes closed the hats, leaving the only the Big Mr. Hyde invisible, then Taylor said, "Thank you sir."

The group soon went into Town Hall, until they see the lion Taylor mentioned. He looked at the group, and said, "Well, well, well, Taylor Fearbrave, you finally made it," he then looked and saw Bentley, and said, "And you brought Mister Tomato Fertilizer, hope you fully recovered from the kick I did on you back in Venicia."

"Don Octavio, we meet at last," Taylor said, she soon asked, "Are you ready for a fight?"

"I would a fight, but I won't, for I am in the a sidelines, much a to my annoyance, since there will be a singing and a dancing but I will be a singing a bit, ha ha," Octavio replied.

Bentley soon said, "Taylor I think this must be some sort of thing called, Soul Dancing, I think Vin would be the one to explain it."

Vin's head soon appeared, and said, "During certain battles, you have to collect things called soul notes, until the gauge that we added into your goggles before we came here, when it's full, both you and Jack must dance, and at the end of a successful dance, you can be able to do great damage to your opponent."

Taylor soon said, "Okay, but I think you and Bentley are going on the sidelines," Taylor said to Vin, then looked at Tess, and said, "Tess, go with them, Jack and I will fight our opponent together." Tess nodded, then went onto Bentley's head, while Vin went back into Bentley's wheelchair, and got to somewhere safe, Taylor then looked at Octavio, and asked, "Okay, Octavio, what's mine and Jack's opponent?"

Octavio soon replied, "Oh, he is a already here, just a hope you two are ready."

Taylor and Jack looked at the stage, something dark rising up from it, causing Jack to say, "Huh."

Taylor soon said as the shadowy thing came up, and said, "What the!?"

Jack soon asked, "What's this!?"

The shadow soon came up, two stubs came out from left and right, then one more on top groaning, then said in a sing-songy voice, "JAAAAAAAAAAAACK!"

Taylor was a bit scared with the Shadow Oogie dancing, but shook it off, and glared, then Shadow Oogie said, "Come on!" then began to sing:

Shadow Oogie:

~Well, well, well, ~
~Jack the Pumpkin King! ~
~Along with Taylor Fearbrave! ~

He tossed some dice to hit Taylor and Jack, but missed, while some ghosts appeared, then sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~Finally made it, huh? ~
~Ohhh I've been waiting for you two. ~

Taylor and Jack soon fought the ghosts and Shadow Oogie, causing Soul Notes to appear, which the collected, while Shadow Oogie sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~So how do you two like my~
~Oogie town? Ba ha ha ha ha ha... ~

Taylor and Jack continue to fight and getting notes while Jack soon sang:

Jack:

~It's over. It's over. ~
~This time you've gone too far. ~
~It's over. I'm serious. ~
~Just who do think you are? ~

Taylor and Jack defeated the ghosts, and got the Soul Notes, but Shadow Oogie threw some dice again, but missed again while Taylor soon sang:

Taylor:

~Just because you fooled the town, ~
~doesn't make you King. ~
~You'd better give up. Surrender now. ~
~We're fixing everything! ~

Shadow Oogie soon threw the dice again, this time the hit Jack and Taylor, while he sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~That's what you think. Ha! ~
~But you couldn't be more wrong. ~
~And this will be the last time~
~you both hear the Oogie song! ~

Taylor and Jack soon continued to fight Shadow Oogie, but Shadow Oogie soon sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~WOW~

A ghost rose up with a giant dice while Octavio sang:

Octavio:

~WOW~

Oogie danced more and sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~WOW~

Another ghost rose up with a giant dice while Octavio sang:

Octavio:

~WOW~

Shadow Oogie stopped dancing and sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~WOW~

Octavio soon sang with him:

Octavio:

~WOW~

The giant dance soon began to fall, aiming to Taylor and Jack, but they avoided it while Shadow Oogie and Octavio sang together:

Shadow Oogie/Octavio:

~I'm/He's the Oogie Boogie Man! ~

"Oogie, what've you done to everyone?" Jack asked.

"They're all under my control!" Shadow replied, then laughed.

"You will pay, Oogie!" Taylor said.

"I a doubt a that, Taylor," Octavio said.

"Oh, yes, I will," Taylor said, and felt the power of the Soul Notes is ready.

Vin soon reappeared, and said, "Okay, now it is the time to dance, finish the dance, you will do serious damage."

"Okay," Taylor said, while Jack nodded as well, then Taylor said, "Ready Jack."

"3," Jack said.

"2," Taylor said.

"1," Jack and Taylor said together.

Then Jack said, "Let's Dance, Taylor!"

Taylor and Jack began dancing, while Jack sang:

Jack:

~We see you're pretty proud of~
~all your booby-trapping schemes... ~

A skeleton wearing a red feathery dress began to dance a can-can in a red spotlight, while Taylor sang:

Taylor:

~But we can say, Oogie, you'll rule~
~this town, only in your dreams! ~

Shadow Oogie said, "Ha," when a skeleton with a blue feathery dress dancing the can-can in a blue spotlight while Octavio sang:

Octavio:

~That's a funny, Taylor! To a Oogie, it WAS a dream. ~
~But now it's a coming true! ~

Taylor and Jack still dance while another skeleton, this time in a green feathery dress dancing the can-can in a green spotlight, while Shadow Oogie sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~'Cause even my mere SHADOW knows~
~-Jack's days as King are through! ~

The two continue to dance while one more skeleton appeared, this time in a yellow feathery dress, dancing the can-can in a yellow spotlight, then Shadow Oogie, Taylor, Jack dance, while they, along with Octavio sang:

Shadow Oogie:

~WOW~

Jack:

~WOW~

Octavio:

~WOW~

Taylor:

~WOW~

Shadow Oogie/Octavio:

~WOW~

Jack/Taylor:

~WOW~

Soon the dance was over and both Taylor and Jack blasted Soul Notes at Shadow Oogie, while singing:

Jack/Taylor:

~I'm/He's the Pumpkin King! ~

The blast hit Shadow Oogie, who said in pain, "Whoa!"

Everyone watched as Shadow Oogie shakingly cringed, as more shadows came to him, and made a shadowy circle, while Shadow Oogie soon chuckles, and said to Taylor and Jack while point at them, "Beginner's luck if you ask me. Don't worry. We'll meet again!" He waved bye at them while he sank to the floor, chuckling.

Octavio soon went to the entrance, and said, "Well, this is where I a take my a leave, but this isn't the a last you see a me, when another a Soul Dance a battle," Octavio left the Town Hall.

Taylor, Jack, and everyone, soon felt a flash, and a twinkle of lights fell down to them, they tried to touch the twinkles, but then Jack looked up, and said, "Oh!" Soon in a small bright light a carving began to float down to them, which was the Jack-o-Lantern carving. Jack soon said, "That's the Halloween Holiday Door! Now what in the world is that doing here?" He then took it, looked at Taylor, and said, "Okay Taylor, I think you might need to give me an explanation on what is going on, and why you and your friends are here."

Taylor sighed, and said, "Okay, but might I suggest we head for your house to do it."

"Okay, Taylor," Jack said.

So, Taylor has won her first battle against Oogie, despite being a Shadow Oogie, and got with Jack, a Holiday Door, what will be happening next.
