Taylor, Jack, and Taylor's friends soon went to Jack's House. They soon notice an envelope on the gates, which Jack took, and both him, and Taylor begin reading it.

Jack. In your absence I held an assembly,
and the whole town made plans for the
scariest, most horrible Halloween yet.
By the time you read this letter,
I trust Halloween Town will be most
positively horrific!
Rest assured, next Halloween will not
disappoint you!"

Nov. 15, The Mayor

Tess soon said, "With what we faced so far, it was horrific, but not in a good way."

Jack opened the gates to his house, while Taylor soon said, "Bentley, I suggest you and Vin go and see what the other gates leading to the unknown area that was cleared when we took care of those skeletons."

Bentley soon said, "Okay, we're on it." Bentley, with Vin inside his wheelchair then went to the gates, while Taylor, Tess, and Jack went into Jack's house.

Jack soon said, "Okay Taylor, can you please tell me why you had to come to Halloween Town with people other than your brother, Shadow."

Taylor sighed, then said, "Okay Jack, at least this time you get it earlier than everyone else I had to help." Taylor soon began to tell Jack the story of what happened to Taylor for a very long time now, of how Shadow and her apartment was broken in, Shadow fighting the Nightmare Eight, but overpowered him, and knocked him out, taking his life's work, the Nightmare Files, and taking sections of them, while the leader took the file folder. Taylor then said that Shadow was in a coma, and found an area under a bridge, then recruited Tess, Bentley, and a man named Qwark. She then told Jack about breaking in a museum, and stealing the Dark Diamond, then going into worlds to face the Nightmare Eight. First was Dr. Angus Bumby, then the Dark Gentleman, then Lorenzo Belli, then the Beldam, then Agatha 'Aggie' Prenderghast, and the latest one defeated, Raiden, or as he was called, the Moon King. During her battle with the members, she had to help others that were having problems with the members, which were in the respective ways of the members she had to fight, Alice Liddell, Alyssa Hamilton, Fiona Belli, Coraline Jones, Norman Babcock, and Kubo. During her fight against Bumby, Taylor was caught by Carmelita, who decided to help so Taylor will get a pardon from the robbery in a museum, by getting the escaped criminals from Heathrow Penitentiary who were helping the members, which were Ms. Decibel, the Grizz until he was replaced by Arpeggio, Raleigh, the Contessa, Mz. Ruby, and General Tsao. During her adventures she did also mention to Jack she learned new abilities, which were Staff Helicopter, Invisibility, Chronomancy or the ability to magically control time, Enhanced Clairvoyance, Median Vision which helped her see and talk to ghosts, and finally Teleportaion. Taylor paused, then said, "Soon Bentley got Vin, along with two others, Penelope and Kit to help us, and I got a vision, and came here, but in the conditions to get the last documents, I can't use my abilities unless it's learned here in this world, and I have to make sure Oogie makes it through his failure, alive."

Jack was surprised, then said, "Well, I am shocked to what happened to Shadow, well I will help you out, but first, I need to give you something, which was meant for Shadow." He took out a glass jar, which had a white slime moving around, she knew it was the Soul Robber for Shadow.

Jack opens up the jar, and Taylor puts the diamond into the jar, and the Soul Robber soon got into the diamond, but quickly was heading for Taylor's right arm, but she said to it, "Hold it, my new Soul Robber, I would like it if you went onto the diamond, please," the Soul Robber then retreats to the diamond, and Taylor said, "Thank you."

Then they heard a voice of Bentley saying, "Taylor, we need you, Tess, and Jack to meet us back at the fountain."

"We're on our way," Taylor said, she soon looked at Jack, and said, "Something's up, Bentley and Vin must've had some problems." Tess and Jack nodded, and they all left the house. Taylor sees Bentley a little shocked, then asked him, "What happened Bentley?"

Vin soon appeared and replied, "When we entered the area, we only went a few feet when some jack-o-lanterns popped up from the ground, then bounced up and down, and some green ghosts burst out of them, and attacked us, but we soon left the area."

Jack soon said, "That place must've been the Pumpkin Patch, and with Oogie's monsters possessing the pumpkins, we might not be able to enter it for now."

The group soon went to the Three Mr. Hydes, the Big Hyde sees them, and said, "We'll follow you all wherever you all go and give you small hints to what to do sometimes."

"Do you have anything on what we need to do right now?" Tess asked.

"I suggest," the Big Hyde replied.

"You talk to the Corpse Kid," the Small Hyde said, lifting up the Big Hyde's hat.

"For he came out, knowing that its safe," the Smaller Hyde said, lifting up the Small Hyde's hat, then both small Hydes put the hat's down, leaving the Big Hyde out.

"Thanks, Three Mr. Hydes," Taylor said. But then sees Jack going up a hook with his Soul Robber, Taylor soon asked, "Jack what are you doing?"

"I have a feeling about something up here," Jack replied.

Taylor thought, looked at Tess, and said, "Hang on Tess," then yelled at Jack, "Wait for me and Tess, Jack!" Taylor then used her Soul Robber and went up. Both Taylor and Jack soon on a roof, and saw a big hole, and they both jumped in. Taylor looked around, and said, "This must be some sort of Attic, which would be creepy here in Halloween Town," suddenly they were encountered by more skeletons, Taylor smirked, then said, "Oh, this is going to be fun, especially with my new Soul Robber." Taylor and Jack soon began fighting the skeletons, until all skeletons were defeated due to Taylor's having some extra power with that it even formed into a spearhead, then a sickle, then a mace on Taylor's staff. They soon see a pumpkin that was shiny.

Jack picked it up, then Bentley's voice soon said, "Wow, you guys found a Golden Pumpkin. That'll increase Jack's maximum health by one point."

"Nice," Taylor said, then she, Tess, and Jack soon left the attic, but Taylor soon said, "I don't know if I can make that jump, if only I can use my Staff Helicopter."

Soon a ghost appeared, but it didn't attack, it soon showed a small hole, showing Octavio, who soon said, "Well, seems a Oogie's a leader is feeling a generous for a now is letting you use your a Staff Helicopter, as since you came with this situation."

"Well, that's good to know," Tess said, then the ghost caused the hole to disappear, and left Taylor, Tess, and Jack.

Jack soon jumped off the roof, and landed softly to the ground, while Taylor and Tess fell off, but Taylor used the Staff Helicopter, and she landed gracefully down to the ground, while Jack filled up a bottle in the fountain, he saw them with confused look, then Jack said, "The Spring Water from the Fountain of Halloween Town can have healing purposes, and can be carried with a Crystal Bottle, since the water can melt other bottles," Taylor Tess nodded at the explanation, while Jack soon drank some of the water in the fountain.

Bentley soon joined them and went to a bow who was a bit rounded, with eyes sewed closed, they soon know this was the Corpse Kid the Three Mr. Hydes was talking about.

The Corpse Kid soon sees the group, looks at Jack, and said, "Jack! Welcome back! And I see you brought some friends!"

"It's Shadow's sister, Taylor, if you remembered her, and these are her friends," Jack said.

"Oh, I hardly recognize her," Corpse Kid said, then said, "Anyway, it looks like the Witch Shop just opened for the first time since you left. I guess that means things are safe now that you are back... Terrible things happened while you were gone, Jack... ...Terrible things."

They soon went back to Jack's House, but then some more skeletons appeared, and Taylor, Jack, and Bentley soon took care of them, but then Tayor and Jack soon used their Soul Robbers to go to what looks like a giant mouth which opened up. Jack soon said, "That is the Mechanical Tower, let's see what's in it," Taylor and Tess nodded in agreement. They soon were inside a giant mouth, and saw a different skeleton which was bigger, and was holding what looks like a bony boomerang. Taylor and Jack soon defeated the skeletons, then a strange skull appeared.

Jack picked it up, and Bentley's voice said, "I see you found a Crystal Skull, collect enough of them, and Jack might make something out of them."

"Well, that's very helpful," Taylor said, then she, Tess, and Jack left the Mechanical Tower, they soon went to the Witches' Shop, but some skeletons appeared, but Taylor, Jack, and Bentley dealt with them, and entered the shop.

When the group saw two witches behind the counter, who see them, then the Short Witch soon said, "Jack! You returned! And you brought some friends!"

"My dear witches, it's me, Taylor, Shadow's sister," Taylor said surprising the witches.

Jack soon asked, "Is it true? The whole town is booby trapped?"

The Tall Witch soon replied, "Oh... it's too embarrassing to talk about. We brought this all upon ourselves..." Taylor and her friends to feel sorry for them to be tricked do to what happened to Jack's absence, but then the Tall Witch soon asked, "Say, Jack, do you, Taylor, or even her friends care to buy anything? We've got some prime heads and torsos, but they'll cost some of you an arm and a leg." They soon looked at the Tall Witch, who soon said, "Jack, if you or your friends find four Crystal Skulls, bring them over to the shop and we will exchange them for some goodies." She soon said, "Witches' shop, the best bargain in town!" Jack soon sees another Crystal Bottle, then the Tall Witch described, "This Crystal Bottle can hold Spring Water from the Fountain, which melts through other bottles." Jack soon sees blue tear with a spooky smile on it, which cause the Tall Witch to say, "This Blue Soul can temporarily boost the power of the Soul Robbers." Taylor did see another Golden Pumpkin, but soon notices what looks like a Rainbow Pearl with souls flowing in it, then the Tall Witch soon said, "That's an Instant Soul Dance, despite this thing might cost a fortune, we will be generous and let you have it for free without any conditions, it will do a Soul Dance automatically, but it can be used only once during a battle, it can be reusable when the battle that would involve a Soul Dance." Jack soon took it, while the Tall Witch soon said, "I'm sure this will help you and your friends a lot, Jack." Jack thinks this will be enough, then the Tall Witch soon said, "You all are always welcome here!"

The group soon see the Short Witch, and she said, "Despite getting help from Taylor and her friends, you'll always be our hero, Jack!" Jack soon sees Level 2 for his Soul Robber, but couldn't afford it right now, then the Short Witch said, "You, Taylor, and her friends are always welcome back, Jack!" Everyone soon left the shop.

They group soon went outside, but three more skeletons appeared, and Taylor, Jack, and Bentley defeated them then the group went back to the Corpse Kid, and Jack said, "The Main Gate can't be opened. Do you know why?"

Corpse Kid soon replied, "I think Clown has the key, but I don't know where he went."

Everyone soon see a manhole bumping up and down, then Taylor soon said, "Well, I think I might know where he is, let's check out the manhole." The group nodded, then went to the manhole, which Taylor, Tess, and Jack entered it.

The trio soon were in a sewer, they see Clown, who was big, on a unicycle, but then some skeletons appeared causing Clown to run away and disappear. Taylor and Jack soon took care of the skeletons, and Clown reappeared, and said, "Jack! And some new friends!"

"Clown, it's me, Taylor," Taylor said, causing Clown to be surprised.

"Anyway, no need to panic. You can calm down," Jack said to Clown.

"Is it really you two Jack and Taylor!?" Clown asked, paused and said, "Ohhhh, something really terrible's happened, Jack..." He then looked at Taylor, and said, "Man, Taylor, I haven't seen you since you were little, I hardly recognize you."

"I know, I am surprising everyone in Halloween Town," Taylor said.

"We, along with some others named Bentley and Vin are going to save everyone and return Halloween Town back to how it was. We need you to open the Main Gate."

Clown soon said, "It's been so dangerous out there I locked the gate and hid here. Now don't get me wrong, I like a good scare... But those things bite!" He cried a bit, but then asked, "Oh you guys want the gate key? Now, where did I put it?" He thought, and asked, "Hmm, did I eat it? Hmm... I'll open the gate once I find it."

Taylor and Jack soon used their Soul Robbers to leave the Sewer by performing what they dubbed the Soul Jump.

Once they were back above ground, and reunited with Bentley, and Vin, they went to the Main Gate to see Clown and Corpse Kid, but the soon fled and disappeared when more skeletons appeared, which Taylor, Jack, and Bentley took care of. Once the skeletons were gone, Clown and Corpse Kid reappeared. Soon the Main Gate rose up, then Clown span in a small circle, and said, "I got the gate open for you and your friends, Jack."

But then Corpse Kid said, "But before some of Oogie's baddies grabbed Sally and carried her off towards the cemetery."

Taylor gasped, then Bentley soon asked, "Is Sally your dear friend from your vision, Taylor."

Taylor nodded in reply, as the Corpse Kid soon said, "I've heard the cemetery is pretty dangerous these days. I hope she's ok."

Jack was surprised, and asked, "What!? Took Sally!?" He glared, and said, "That's it, no more Mr. Nice bones."

Jack soon went off to the cemetery, while Taylor soon said, "Jack, wait for us!" Taylor and Bentley soon went after Jack while the gate closed down.

Yeah, sorry if I took too long, trying to look at the info of items and what the Three Mr. Hydes say really took some time, and I got a bit sidetracked, but I forgot something I should have told you last chapter, like the YouTuber I am using the walkthrough for the fanfic, I'm not going to show the Nightmare Rank.
