I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Vin, Bentley, or any of the Nightmare Before Christmas characters.
The group looked at the location they needed to be, and Bentley said, "So, this is the Big Pumpkin Head that Behemoth was worried about."
The group sees a giant pumpkin that was on top of tree, which makes it look like a giant creature with a pumpkin for a head. They see ghosts swirling around the Big Pumpkin Head, and Jack said, "They're attacking from within."
Taylor soon looked at some Soul Jump Hooks, and said, "We'd better climb up and have a look," she looked at Bentley, and said, "Bentley, I suggest you, Vin and Tess go cross the bridge and inform Behemoth that we're going to clear out the Big Pumpkin Head."
"Okay," Tess said.
"You got it," Vin said after coming out of Bentley's wheelchair.
"Roger," Bentley said, as Vin went back into the wheelchair, while Tess jumped onto Bentley's helmet, and the turtle went to the broken bridge and hovers a crossed it.
Taylor and Jack soon used the Soul Jump to get inside the Big Pumpkin Head.
Inside the location, and faced some skeletons, but the skulls of them had horns on them. Taylor and Jack soon defeated these orc skeletons, including the ones that were eating a pumpkin that was big, which blew up to reveal a hole. Taylor soon said, "Seems we need go down, which might make us do another fight, and go down all the way to the bottom."
"I agree, Taylor," Jack said, as the two dropped down to another area and fought some king ghosts.
Another pumpkin soon blew up, revealing another hole, there they see some pumpkins popped up, so Jack went to his Santa form, and used the device from the doctor to scare them out of the pumpkins, and fought the monsters inside. Another pumpkin blew up to reveal another hole.
The duo soon sees more skeletons eating some pumpkins, but not only that, Barrel was eating pumpkins with them. As he was eating, he sees Taylor and Jack, and asked, "What!? You two along with your friends made it through my maze!?"
Taylor replied, "Well, it wasn't much of challenge, you should've done better kid."
Jack soon said, leaning at Barrel, who crawls back, "Anyway, now Barrel, it's time we taught you a lesson."
"Jack, you take care of Barrel, I'll deal with the skeletons," Taylor said.
"Okay Taylor," Jack said.
Jack began fighting Barrel, who does fight back with a slingshot, while Taylor fought the skeletons, until Barrel was in a daze, showing he was defeated.
Taylor soon sees a bright light and coming down is a wooden carving that is shaped like a turkey. Jack sees it, and Taylor said, "The Thanksgiving Door. The holiday of feasting and giving thanks to many things that happened." Jack and Taylor went to Barrel, who was still dazed, and Taylor noticed a twinkling light, Taylor sees it, and said, "That might be the gate key to the Residential Area, just like Octavio said."
Jack goes near the key, and sees Barrel coming back to his senses, and Jack said to him, "Barrel. Pranks are one thing, but real danger is not a good idea."
"...I'm sorry Jack," Barrel said.
Jack takes the key, and said, "Now... no more serving Oogie."
"OK, Jack," Barrel said.
Jack and Taylor soon turned her back, which she sees Barrel get up to wave bye at them, she then looks forward, but heard a small chuckle at Barrel, knowing he has his fingers crossed, meaning he's not going to obey.
Another short chapter, but still, Taylor and Jack got another Holiday Door, and got a key.
