I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Vin, Bentley, or any of the Nightmare Before Christmas characters.
The gate soon opened up, and the group was about to enter the new area, when Jack went to talk to Clown again, who said to them, "You guys can get to the Vampire's or Mayor's houses through this gate. Oh, I just hope that Octavio or those three little mischief makers haven't gotten to 'em yet."
"I hope so too," Taylor said. The group soon went to the new area, they were met with a new giant skeleton. Taylor soon said, "Okay, Skeleton King, bring it on." They defeated the King Skeleton, and another, and one more. Soon the group see the Three Mr. Hydes.
He sees the group, and said, "I haven't seen The Mayor for a while. I wonder if he's hiding from Oogie..."
Taylor soon asked, "Any ideas to do so far?"
"Nothing much except for you all to check the Vampire Brothers," the Big Hyde replied.
"Very well, let's go guys," Taylor said, which earned her a nod, and they went into the Vampire Brothers' house. Once inside, Taylor soon sees that the coffins were emptied, and said, "Something's out, everyone spread out, and search for something that might help us."
The others nodded and looked around, until Jack found something on a table, and asked, "Hmm? What's this?" He picks up a piece of paper, and said, "I think I've found something." The group looked at a letter that had some blots on it, but they others made out what it.
Oogie Boogie transformed us
into four bats. Find us and
return us to our coffins.
Taylor soon said, "Looks like another Oogie problem we need to fix."
Bentley soon said, "Vin and I will sit this out, for this might be something a Soul Robber can do."
Vin soon came out of Bentley's wheelchair, and said, "I wish you and Jack luck, Taylor."
"Thanks Vin," Taylor said, as she, Tess and Jack left the castle.
"Okay guys, we have to find those Vampire Bats," Tess said as Tess and Jack were outside. The trio soon see a bat, and Tess said, "There's one of them."
"I got this," Jack said and used his Soul Robber catch it and was successful.
"Nice work, Jack, let's return him to his coffin to break Oogie's spell," Jack nodded, and they returned to the castle.
Back in the castle, the went to the coffin near the window that looked like a bed, placed the bat in the coffin, and it closed. The group then heard a sound, and some fog came out from the cracks of the coffin, which, and out rose a big vampire, which Taylor knows is the eldest, who soon said, "...Aaah. At last, I'm my old self!"
"What happened?" Jack asked.
The vampire replied, "My brothers and I opposed Oogie's plan. We told him this isn't the Halloween you wanted. So, he tricked us and trapped us in our bat form. Sorry, Jack and Taylor. While I was a bat, I couldn't recognize you."
Taylor widened her eyes, and asked, "How did you know it was me?"
The vampire replied, "Even after years, we vampires never forget a face, especially that of your brother, Shadow."
"Well, that's good to know," Jack said, then asked, "Are your brothers stuck as bats, too?"
"Yes, but I'll need help finding them," the vampire replied, but then leaned to his side, and said, "Ohhh, my strength..."
"You look undead tired. You should rest," Jack said, feeling concerned on the vampire, then said, "Taylor and I will find your brothers."
"And Bentley and Vin here will keep an eye on you guys," Taylor said.
The vampire soon said, "For generations we vampires have been entrusted to guard the key to The Mayor's house..." He soon gives Jack and Taylor and said, "Jack, Taylor, take this... My brothers will have the remaining pieces of the key."
Taylor and Jack soon went to what looks like the spiral eye of The Mayor, and Taylor said, "Okay, one down, three to go." Taylor and Jack soon left the castle, and went around the Residential area, passing pendulums, fighting more King Skeletons, and going to some slums, and took care of some possessed trash cans, and Jack used Pumpkin Fire, and took out a wooden door, and found a Soul Barrel. After some whacks it got destroyed and gave them some extra souls. The trio soon see a cracked wall, and found a secret place, and took out a group of King Skeletons, and got a Crystal Skull. Taylor soon said, "That's four skulls, during our next stop to the Witches' Shop, we can get our surprise." Jack and Tess nodded, then the left the area to search for the remaining brothers. Going around the slums and went through barriers that Jack burned with Pumpkin Fire, fought more King Skeletons, then found another area, and found another Bat that looks like one of the brothers. Taylor soon said, "I got this," she then used her Soul Robber and got the bat.
Tess soon said, "Okay, we got another one."
Taylor and Jack, with Tess on Taylor's shoulders went to look for the two remaining bats. And saw some hooks, and did some Soul Jumps, but during this they see a giant fish skeleton chomping a bit, before going down into the green water. Taylor soon said, "Well, that fish could make a good catch of the day."
Tess soon noticed something, and said, "There's another one." Jack soon grabbed it with a Soul Robber, and Tess said, "Nice job Jack."
Taylor and Jack soon swung through hooks, while Taylor did a Tarzan cry, while avoiding the fish, and went up on a Soul Jump to look for the remaining brother. As they continue the search, they heard the cat siren, meaning another announcement from Oogie, who said, "My dearly abhorred denizens of Oogie Town! Thanks to my own diabolically ingenious thinking, I have decided to become ruler of not only Oogie Town but all the holidays as well. We will be able to celebrate 'Oogie Boogie Day' seven days every year! Preparations have already been made. I will go secure the final remaining holiday myself. After all, I have a debt to repay. Soon I shall be the Seven Holidays King, so stay tuned!" He soon laughs as the announcement was over.
Taylor soon said, "That isn't good, let's find the last vampire so we can see what this plan is the vampires opposed against." Jack and Tess nodded in agreement, then they see another bat, and Taylor soon grabbed it with her Soul Robber.
"Okay, we got the brothers, let's get them to their coffins," Tess said, which caused Taylor and Jack to nod, and went back to the castle.
Back at the castle, Taylor puts one of the bats in the coffin next to where the first vampire was resting, closed it, and a second eldest vampire appeared out of some fog in place of the bat, and said handing something, "Here Taylor and Jack... take this..."
Taylor takes it, and said, "Thanks. Rest easy now." She looks at the piece, which looks like the other eye, while she closed the coffin.
Jack puts the only bat he has into the coffin that can disguise itself as a grandfather clock, and after some smoke, they see the second youngest brother, who looks at them, and said, "Here, Jack and Taylor. We're counting on you."
Jack takes it, and said, "Good night, and unpleasant dreams." Taylor laughed at Jack's joke, while she sees the piece, that looks like the nose, while Jack closed the coffin.
Taylor puts the last bat into the last coffin, which looks like a couch, then rising out was the youngest vampire, who said giving something to the group, "This is the last piece."
"Thanks," Taylor said, taking what looks like a tie or a ribbon.
Soon the group sees the other three vampires came out of their coffins, then the Eldest Vampire soon said, "Now the way to The Mayor's house has been opened to you, my friends."
Bentley, Vin, Jack, Tess, and Taylor were great about it, then Vin said, "This is really a good thing, now we can help out The Mayor."
"Yes," the Eldest Vampire said, but then said, "But before you all go, we have to tell you all about plan. He used his henchman to abduct the other Holiday Leaders."
"That's not good," Bentley said, then asked, "What did they do them."
The group turned to the Second Eldest Vampire, and he replied, "They dragged the leaders here, then took away the Holiday Doors so the leaders couldn't return to their own worlds. Lock, Shock, and Barrel then hid the doors in each area of the town so they wouldn't be discovered."
"So that's why we've been finding Holiday Doors," Tess said.
"First, we found the Halloween Door in the Town Hall after beating Shadow Oogie, then the Valentine's Day Door in the Cemetery after defeating Pumpkin, who is now Sally's new pet, then at the Doctor's Lab, when we saved Doctor Finkelstein when we switched his brain with his real one, and got the St. Patrick's Day Door, now we have the Thanksgiving Door after we defeated Barrel in the Pumpkin Patch," Taylor said.
Jack soon said, "So, the leaders of Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and the other holidays are being held prisoner somewhere in this town?"
"Precisely," the Second Youngest Vampire replied, then said, "Oogie's plan is to take over the holidays and become the Seven Holidays King."
"Just like what he said in the announcements," Taylor said.
Jack waved his hands, and asked, "The Seven Holidays King?" He right hand to his crown, and said, "This is intolerable!"
The Youngest Vampire soon said, "First, you all have to find the remaining Holiday Doors. Otherwise, you all won't be able to return the leaders even if you find them. Take back the remaining doors and find out where the leaders are being held."
"Sounds like a plan," Taylor said.
Taylor and Jack helped the Vampire Brothers, and know of Oogie's plan, know the must stop this so-called future Seven Holidays King.
