Taylor Fearbrave in The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge

The Final Branch story of the Nightmare Files saga. Taylor, Tess, Bentley, and Vin are in Halloween Town, and Taylor can't use her past abilities. Will they, along with Jack, and when Taylor gets new abilities beat Oogie and Octavio while keeping Oogie alive to get the last documents. Rated K plus due to game to be rated E ten plus. Completed!

16. Rooftop Rumble

Taylor, Tess, and Jack soon were on top of the roof, and waiting for them was Octavio. Octavio soon said, "I see you three have a made it, Taylor, Jack, your opponents are waiting for both of you, I a wish you luck."

Octavio moved out of the way, while Tess soon followed him, but turned, and said, "Oh no, not them again."

Jack looked, and said while putting a hand to his crown, "Well, well, if it isn't the three little pranksters again.

Jack puts his hands to his hips while Taylor crossed her arms, and she asked, "You're still not working for Oogie, are you?"

Taylor and Jack looked at the mischievous trio on their bathtub, then Lock replied while taking off his mask, "We're not working. We're playing.

"And winning!" Shock said while taking off her mask.

"Another round, Taylor and Jack?" Barrel asked taking off his mask.

Then the trio said together, "As if you three had a choice!"

Jack soon said, "It's time you three learned all games must come to an end -" he waved his arm, and continued, "especially this one!" He soon looked away from the trio and pulled a face at them, as if to scare them.

"Remember Vin's advice about the Instant Soul Dance you two," Tess said.

Octavio soon said, "Well you can't fight these kids until you three get to the part of the Soul Dance, but it can't be the same for the bathtub."

Taylor and Jack soon know that this is just like Doctor Finkelstein and had to avoid the attacks until it is time, but still can take out the bathtub.

Taylor and Jack look at the brats in the bathtub, who taunted them, then began to sing as the bathtub moves around to try to hit Taylor and Jack:

Pranksters:

~Laa, la, la, la, la, laa! ~
~La, la, la, la, laa! ~
~Laa, la, la, la, la, laa! ~
~La, la, la, la, laa! ~

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~Jack and Taylor will never win! ~
~When you two find our booby traps~
~They will do you both in! ~

Shock:

~First, we brought the Master back~
~To take this town away from Jack! ~
~We knew Taylor help fight to set things right~
~So, we got bad guys to attack! ~

Jack and Taylor avoided the bathtub which charged when Lock said, "Let's go!"

Taylor was angry, and sang:

Taylor:

~Stop! We've had enough of you! ~
~Your punishment is overdue! ~
~You've instigated chaos here~
~And turned this town onto its ear! ~

The trio soon tossed some explosive jack-o-lanterns, which the Taylor and Jack avoided or threw back at them while the pranksters sing:

Pranksters:

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~Put them to the test! ~
~Keep them guessing all the time~
~Never let them rest! ~

Taylor and Jack continued to hit the bathtub until it was defeated, while the trio sang separately:

Barrel:

~Then Mister Oogie Boogie Man~

Shock:

Can take the whole town over then! ~

Lock:

~He'll be so please I do declare! ~

Pranksters:

~The whole world should beware! ~
~Wheee! ~

"We'll beat you two this time," Shock said.

Taylor glared, and said, "You're in big, big trouble." Suddenly Jack and Taylor head a familiar jingle, smirked, and asked, "Ready, Jack?"

"3," Jack said.

"2," Taylor said.

"1," Jack and Taylor said.

Then Jack said, "Let's dance, Taylor!"

Taylor and Jack dance with the pranksters as Lock sang:

Lock:

~Now that Oogie is the king~
~We get away with everything! ~
~You cannot scold us for our pranks! ~
~The new King Oogie let's give thanks! ~

The red skeleton was soon appeared, performing the can-can, while Jack and Taylor continued to dance, and Jack sang:

Jack:

~Don't be foolish! Think now~
~All this danger isn't fun and games! ~
~When this town is back to normal, ~
~do you really want the blame? ~

The blue skeleton soon appeared, performing the can-can, while Taylor and Jack dance and the trio sang:

Pranksters:

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~This is so much fun! ~
~We make mischief day and night~
~Our work is never done! ~

The green skeleton soon appeared, performing the can-can, while Taylor and Jack dance, and Taylor sang:

Taylor:

~If we've told you once, we've told you twice~
~To straighten out your act! ~
~You'll never get away with this~
~And that, you brats, is fact! ~

During the singing, the yellow skeleton appeared, performing the can-can, Barrel did some dancing as Jack sang:

Jack:

~We've had enough of this disgrace! ~

Shock did some dancing, while Taylor sang:

Taylor:

~So, take us to the hidden place! ~

Lock did some dancing while Taylor and Jack sang:

Taylor and Jack:

~Where our friends sit locked in a cage! ~

Taylor and Jack soon concluded the dance, then unleashed some Soul Notes and sang together:

Taylor and Jack:

~Or you will face our rage! ~

The pranksters soon sang out:

Pranksters:

~Wheee! ~

The trio soon were standing, then Lock said, "You and Taylor can't win this time, Jack."

"You kids are in big trouble," Jack said back.

Suddenly some ghosts and skeletons appeared, then Octavio said, "You two can charge up the Soul Dance Meter with them while the pranksters sing a verse for themselves."

Taylor and Jack nodded, and fought the creatures, while the pranksters sang:

Pranksters:

~Laa, la, la, la, la, laa! ~
~La, la, la, la, laa! ~
~Laa, la, la, la, la, laa! ~
~La, la, la, la, laa! ~

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~Jack and Taylor will never win! ~
~When you two find our booby traps~
~They will do you both in! ~

Shock:

~First, we brought the Master back~
~To take this town away from Jack! ~
~We knew Taylor help fight to set things right~
~So, we got bad guys to attack! ~

Lock:

~Ghosts and skeletons galore! ~
~Brain washed fighters wanting more! ~
~They're rising up from ever tomb~
~To torment Taylor and seal Jack's doom! ~

Pranksters:

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~Put them to the test! ~
~Keep them guessing all the time~
~Never let them rest! ~

Barrel:

~Then Mister Oogie Boogie Man~

Shock:

Can take the whole town over then! ~

Lock:

~He'll be so please I do declare! ~

Pranksters:

~Wheee! ~

"You a think you a two can survive these a waves?" Octavio asked.

"Don't underestimate us," Taylor replied.

Jack and Taylor continue to fight the ghosts and skeletons, while another verse begins with Lock singing:

Lock:

~With Mister Oogie is the king~
~We get away with everything! ~
~No more scolding for our pranks! ~
~The new King Oogie let's give thanks! ~

Barrel:

~A trick a day, oh, why stop there? ~
~We'll do whatever! We won't care! ~
~And everyone will come to know~
~We run the show! Hey, life is unfair! ~

Pranksters:

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~
~This is so much fun! ~
~We make mischief day and night~
~Our work is never done! ~

Shock:

~Because Mister Oogie Boogie~
~Is the meanest guy around! ~

Lock:

~If I were on his Oogie list~
~I'd get out of town! ~

Barrel:

~He'll be so pleased by our success! ~

Shock:

~That he'll reward us too, I bet! ~

Pranksters:

~I wonder what it's going to be! ~
~We cannot wait to see! ~
~Wheee! ~

I a see you both a survived," Octavio said.

"You did underestimate us," Jack said.

"Well then, try and a get the masks off the pranksters, and the perform the Soul Dance to a finish them off!" Octavio said.

The trio soon began to sing again:

Pranksters:

~La, la, la, la, laa! ~
~Laa, la, la, la, la, laa! ~

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~

Shock:

"You three are so annoying," Jack and Taylor said.

"Thanks Taylor and Jack," the trio said.

Jack and Taylor soon got the masks of the trio, then Taylor asked after hearing a jingle, "Ready, Jack?"

"3," Jack said.

"2," Taylor said.

"1," Jack and Taylor said together.

Then Jack said, "Let's dance, Taylor!"

(A/N: No descriptions of the dance, just a different verse of the song's dance version.)

Lock:

~Now that Oogie is the king~
~We get away with everything! ~
~You cannot scold us for our pranks! ~
~The new King Oogie let's give thanks! ~

Taylor:

~Don't be foolish! Think now~
~All this danger isn't fun and games! ~
~When this town is back to normal, ~
~do you really want the blame?

Pranksters:

~Hail to Mister Oogie! ~

Jack:

~Trusting him is a big mistake! ~

Jack:

~One, that you don't want to make! ~

Jack and Taylor:

~He might reward you this is true! ~
~By cooking you into a stew! ~

The Soul Notes soon hit the trio, and this time the troublemakers were dazed.

Octavio soon said, "Well, it a seems once again you a two triumphed," he then walked to the exit, and said, "Well, it's a time for me to a go, until a next time." Octavio soon left.

Taylor and Jack soon see a wooden carving of what looks like a firecracker. Taylor soon said, "Judging by its appearance, this is the Independence Day Door, or as they sometimes call it the Fourth of July, a holiday in the United States of America celebrating its Independence hundreds of years ago, which involved parties, barbecues, and mainly fireworks."

Jack soon took the Independence Day Door, then turned to the Lock, Shock, and Barrel, and said with a glare, "Now it's time to really teach you three a lesson," the trio cower in fear at Jack, while Lock looked back at a button, then Jack asked, "Who's first?"

The trio smirked, and said together, "Jack and Taylor! Trick or treat!"

"What?" Tess asked going onto Taylor's shoulder.

The trio went to the button and, despite Barrel tripped, pressed it, causing confetti to come out, and then a big black hole appeared below Taylor and Jack's feet, and Taylor said, "Oh, not cool." And Jack, Taylor and Tess fell down screaming while the hole closed up.

The trio laugh, and said, "Looks like they really fell for that one!"

"And you three have a nap to take!" said a voice.

The trio were shocked, looked around, then a small sphere was on the floor where they were standing, then began beeping with a green light, and they said, "Uh oh!" The sphere blew up, showing it was a bomb, and some green gas came out from it. When the gas cleared, Lock, Shock, and Barrel were fast asleep.

Bentley soon wheeled to them, and said, "That should take care of them for now, time to search them and put them in a cage before they wake up."

"But what about the others?" Vin said, coming out of Bentley's wheelchair.

"Don't worry, Taylor and Tess have been through lots of perils," Bentley replied.

Back to Taylor, Tess and Jack they continue falling down an abyss, but soon see a stone that looked stable, and both Taylor and Jack yelled, "Soul Robber!" and caught it.

As the Soul Robbers rose them up, knowing they are safe, Jack soon said, "Whew, what a day this has been, Taylor."

"Nothing compared of what me and Tess have been through in our past adventures," Taylor said.

"Yeah, I'll say," Tess said.

Jack looked around and said, "Hmm... What's this place?"

Taylor replied, "I don't know, maybe a chance to find the Leaders." Taylor and Jack soon swing around to find some red glowing light in front of them.

Jack and Taylor defeated the trio, and got another Holiday Door, but fell into a trap, however, Bentley has captured the trio, so they won't get into any trouble, which I myself made up, since no one knows what happened to the trio after the battle, but what dangers will Taylor, Tess and Jack be facing in the new area, you'll have to find out.
