I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Vin, Bentley, or any of the Nightmare Before Christmas characters or the song.
Taylor soon surfaced gasping out of the water, which showed she was in the fountain. She comes out of the fountain coughing out water a bit but was then breathing. Soon Jack rose out of the fountain, and the citizens of Halloween Town were cheering. Jack soon asked, "Are you all right, Taylor?"
"Yeah, I am Jack," Taylor replied, then looked around and said, "I suggest on seeing the others before we go after Oogie and Octavio."
Jack nodded, and both him and Taylor begin to check the citizens. They soon see Mr. Hyde near the Town Hall and go to him. He sees them, and said, "This is Halloween Town, no matter what Oogie calls it. Go get him, Jack and Taylor."
"We will, but do you have any advice on what to do?" Taylor asked.
Mr. Hyde replied, "Try talking to the citizens."
"Especially the Mayor in the Town Hall," the Small Mr. Hyde said, lifting the Big Mr. Hyde's hat.
"And the Hanging Tree here in the Town Square," the Smaller Mr. Hyde said, lifting the Small Mr. Hyde's hat.
"Okay," Jack said, as the two small Mr. Hydes hid under the hats.
Taylor and Jack soon see the area near the Witches' Shop, and see the Monsters that changed into good guys, who are guarding a small cage. Taylor looked, and said, "Well, look here, Jack, some brats taking a time out."
The King Skeleton soon said, "Don't worry, we will be keeping an eye on these three."
Lock looks at them, and said, "Seems you finally beaten us."
"We lost completely," Shock said.
"And now Mr. Oogie Boogie has left us behind," Barrel said.
"Well, this time you will be staying in there until this is over," Jack said.
Taylor and Jack soon went back to the fountain, and sees Clown, and Taylor soon asked, "You still okay after that problem with the engine on your unicycle?"
Clown soon replied, "After that ride, I've got a need for speed." Taylor giggled a bit, then left Clown.
Taylor and Jack see the Vampire Brothers, and they soon said, "We are with you in spirit, Taylor and Jack." Jack and Taylor nodded in gratitude and left them.
They duo soon went to the Witches' Shop. Jack gives the Crystal Skulls to the Tall Witch, who soon said, "Congratulations! You found four Skulls, Jack." She soon takes out a Crystal Bottle, and said, "Here, take this bottle. You can fill it with spring water to drink when you feel tired."
Jack soon bought from the Tall Witch the last Golden Pumpkin available in the shop, and another Crystal Bottle. Jack soon went to the Short Witch and upgraded his Pumpkin King and Re-possession for his Santa Jack form. He soon sees some more presents for his Santa form, and the Short Witch describes them, the first one was a pinkish present with a spider web ribbon, she soon said, "This is the Scared Stiff, with this, you can temporarily stun your enemies." Jack soon sees a blue present with red ribbons, and the Short Witch said, "The Cold Front contains a blizzard of northern snow. It damages enemies by freezing them." Jack soon sees another present that had some green wrapping paper with some pumpkins tied to a black and orange ribbon with a skull, and Short Witch said, "This Pumpkin Shield can temporarily shield Jack from enemy attacks."
Jack soon buys the presents and said, "That is it for now," the Short Witch thanked him, and told him and Taylor are always welcome back, and Taylor and Jack left the shop.
The duo soon went to the Town Hall. Inside, Taylor sees Igor munching on Bone Biscuits, while The Mayor is standing with Bentley.
Igor sees Taylor and Jack, and said, "Get that Oogie. He trick Igor."
They soon went to The Mayor and Bentley. Soon Vin comes out of Bentley's wheelchair, as Taylor said, "Bentley, Vin, Mr. Mayor, it's good to see you three." Taylor soon looked around, and asked, "Where's Tess, Sally, and Sally's pet spiders?"
Bentley replied, "I think we saw them leaving the town to go to the Cemetery."
"Just hope they're okay," Vin added.
Jack soon said, "Mayor, I have a favor to ask. Five Holiday Leaders are trapped in Oogie's hideout."
"What!?" Mayor said, turning his face from happy to sad.
Jack soon continued, "I have to follow Oogie and Octavio to Christmas Town. While I'm gone, I'd like you to kindly escort them to a safe place, and then return each of them to their own worlds."
Mayor soon asked, "You want me to save the Holiday Leaders?"
"Exactly," Jack replied.
Taylor soon said, "If it can calm you down, I will send Bentley and Vin to help you." Bentley and Vin were shocked, and Taylor said, "Sorry you two, but the adventure here is about to end, and I know I usually take on the Nightmare Eight Members with person they caused trouble to." Bentley and Vin soon thought, then nodded in agreement, and then Taylor said, "Jack and I are counting on you and my friends, Mr. Mayor."
"You both can count on us, Taylor and Jack! We won't let you two down," Mayor said. Taylor and Jack soon left the Town Hall.
The duo soon went to the fountain, and Taylor soon sees Behemoth, and asked, "How are things in the Pumpkin Patch, Behemoth?"
Behemoth soon replied, "Pumpkins. Take time to grow back. I grow again. My job."
The deo soon went to Dr. Finkelstein, and said, "Go get that Oogie. You two are the only one who can do it. We're all counting on you two, Taylor and Jack!"
They did talk to the Corpse Kid, and he said, "Everyone's come to cheer the sister of Shadow and our Pumpkin King. How about you take my quiz? It will spin your spine, Jack."
Jack replied, "Sorry, my dear boy, but not this time."
"Okay then, you have important business to stop Oogie, but I'm here if you want to take it," Corpse Kid said.
Jack soon drank some water from the fountain, and the filled up the new Crystal Bottles, then went to the Hanging Tree. The Hanging Tree soon said, "Jack! Taylor! I'm so glad you two are okay. Oogie and Octavio took the Spiral Hill Road toward the Hinterlands. But his minions are swarming everywhere. They're guarding Spiral Hill gate. You two will probably need Zero to help find the gate key. Go trounce those monsters and save us all."
"We will, Hanging Tree. And thanks," Jack said.
Hanging Tree soon said, "Like I said before, hordes of corpses roam the Graveyard at night. Be careful, you two."
Taylor soon said, "Okay, Jack, let's get to it." Jack nodded, and they went to the gate to enter the Cemetery.
At the Cemetery, Jack taps his lap near Zero's grave, and out came his fateful ghostly companion, barking. Jack soon said, "There you are, Zero! We need your help to find the Spiral Hill gate key." Zero barks, and begins to look around, and Taylor and Jack soon follow him. After Jack went on the tree to get some Soul Tokens, and a Crystal Skull at the top, they soon were where Zero was, after taking out some smoke graves, that is, and Jack sees the key on the Hen Bane grave, and said, "There it is! Thanks, Zero," Zero barks in happiness.
Zero soon went around Taylor, who giggles, and said, "I think he wants to come with us." Jack soon nodded in agreement, and he, Taylor and Zero went to the area, until they reached the gate going the other side of the Cemetery, while taking out some skeletons on the way. During the path in the second section, they ran into some ghosts, tricks and treats.
They soon reach the gate to the Spiral Hill, Jack soon said, "This isn't opening!" Jack then used the Spiral Hill gate key, and said, "I unlocked the gate." Taylor, Jack and Zero soon went into Spiral Hill.
Taylor soon sees the great Spiral Hill, which she knew beyond it was the Hinterlands. Jack soon used his Soul Robber on a pinwheel, and they both enter a secret room, and defeated some Troll and King Skeletons, giving them another Golden Pumpkin, then left the area. Soon they, with Zero accompanying, Soul Jumped toward the hill, while avoiding and destroying the projectile devices, like gargoyles and guillotine skeletons. After they reached near the Hill. Taylor tried to walk on it, but it won't uncurl, and Taylor soon asked, "What's going on, why isn't the hill uncurling?"
Jack soon looks at a statue, and four tomb stones with shaped holes on each one, and said, "If we can get this device to work, Spiral Hill will stretch out."
Taylor soon thought, looked at the tombstones, and said, "I think we have to use the Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter and Thanksgiving Doors, which might get Spiral Hill to stretch out."
Jack soon puts the doors Taylor suggested to place on, and soon the statue above moved as if it was playing a violin, and they soon heard Sally's Song as if it was in a music box. "It really is beautiful, yet a bit sad," said a voice. Jack and Taylor turned, and saw Tess with Pumpkin, Toxic, Bandit, and Spooky. Tess soon decided to jump onto Taylor's shoulder, and said, "You thought you were going to the Hinterlands without me."
"Never, Tess," Taylor replied. She soon looks at Spiral Hill, and soon sees someone on it.

Jack, Taylor and Tess soon look at the person, and Jack said, "Sally. You shouldn't be here, it's dangerous."
Sally didn't turn, but replied, "I had to warn you and Taylor. Oogie and Octavio are headed for the Hinterlands," she turned and said, "I have a bad feeling more trouble is waiting for you two down this path."
Jack soon knew Sally was concerned, then decided to comfort her by coming to her while singing:
Jack:
~You give me strength. ~
~You show you care. ~
Sally soon looks at Jack, and begins to smile, as he continued to sing:
Jack:
~I cannot fail with you~
~so near. ~
Jack soon continued as Sally was feeling secured:
Jack:
~I know I'd be lost~
~without you. ~
Sally soon decided to sing with him:
Jack/Sally:
~We'll stand together. ~
~Now and forever. ~
Sally soon begins to walk towards Jack, as the continued to sing:
Jack/Sally:
~And I'll tell you~
~this very troubled night~
~that we will set~
~things right. ~
Jack and Sally soon held hands, and Sally soon felt sad, but then Jack said, "It's OK, Sally. Nothing's going to stop me and Taylor from returning Halloween Town to how it was before." Jack soon begins to run down Spiral Hill.
Taylor soon said, "Hey, Jack, wait for me and Tess!" Taylor, with Tess on her shoulder soon ran after Jack. Jack soon waits for them, and see a sign, it read:

Tess soon said, "Well, that's a odd way for a warning, but not enough to deter us, let's go, Jack and Taylor!" Jack and Taylor nodded and entered the Hinterlands.
Finished the next chapter, now Tess has rejoined Jack and Taylor, Bentley and Vin are helping The Mayor release the other Holiday leaders, and now the Hinterlands await, what will happen?
